BETO'S OUT! …BETO'S IN! ; LIBERTY UNIVERSITY STUDENTS PROTEST FALWELLS’ GENDER-IDENTITY COMMENTS & LATHAN WATTS

Janet Mefferd Live | Thursday, March 14, 2019

After saying in November of 2018 that he would not do it, Beto O'Rourke announced he is running for president, entering the 2020 race with a call for Americans to look past their differences in order to confront the challenges facing the country.

Liberty University students, upset over comments made last week by President Jerry Falwell Jr. and Becki Falwell about their granddaughter’s gender identity during the televised Conservative Political Action Conference satellite event held on Liberty’s campus, staged a protest Wednesday on the steps of the student union.

Guest, Lathan Watts of First Liberty Institute, joins Janet to discuss why the study of the U.S. Constitution, the Declaration of Independence and the Federalist Papers is NOT archaic and must return to schools.
