Welcome to a Disciples View. We're getting close to election day, Christians, you have to vote. You are to make disciples. The Lord told us. All power on heaven earth has been granted to me. Therefore, go and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and telling them to obey all I command. I'll be with you even to the end of the age. We Christians who make disciples, we disciple makers, need to be talking to people we have discipled. You have to vote. We're cautioned throughout scripture to be good citizens. If we're going to be punished by this world, better to be punished for doing good than bad. Paraphrasing something that, Peter told us, the apostle Paul tells us to pray for civic leaders. Pray so that we may have peaceable lives. Pray so we may have peaceable lives. Pray for leaders. Therefore, if we're to pray for leaders, why wouldn't we also then show what Jesus thinks to leaders. We are being asked our opinion if we understand our job as, disciples of Christ here in this world. We're in it, but not of it. We are ambassadors of King Jesus. And King Jesus doesn't have opinions. He has fact. So our boss, our king, our savior, has us here to express his opinion, which is in fact the truth, the way, the truth and the life. On this voting day coming up, it is our responsibility, it should be our joy to do this. And I can be as cynical as anybody. I'm going to pray over my ballot. I live in North Idaho. We have a very cool old fashioned voting system where we show up on a given day and we vote yes. You can get absentee ballots here. I'm sure that there is skullduggery that goes on with the elections here. And I know that Jesus is stronger than all of that. I know that the Lord can protect my ballots. I know he can make it impenetrable to fraud. So I'm going to pray that my ballot is protected by the Lord Jesus. I'll pray that over my wife's. I'll pray that over your ballots. I'll pray that over the election system. So there's all sorts of reasons you could choose to be cynical, or maybe it's to teach the GOP a lesson. Because I know, I know in the hearts of many, many believers, I know people who've made the decision, you know what President Trump said, no new wars. I'm done all these wars. I'm going to show him, what this means. I'm going to show him. I'm going to give the GOP a lesson. Guys, I love you dearly. And I'm telling you, I've worked in Washington D.C. and it's not a lesson. It's not a thing. They're going to hear. They will hear how you vote. They will not hear how you don't vote. Because this will all be brought into things like, oh, lack of enthusiasm down ballots. lack of enthusiasm down ballot tries. It's always this way in the midterms. The consultants will be in here spinning this. No, the Lord Jesus is not silent. Right? He's not silent. There's always these attempts to say, oh, Jesus didn't talk about, same sex activity. Well, he did. He did. He talked about sexual morality. He made it a higher bar. I tell you, you've heard it said, you shall not commit adultery. And I tell you, a man who thinks of, who has lust for a woman in his eyes has already committed adultery. It's so easy to extend that into fornication and same sex activity because it stands outside of how Jesus Christ defines a biblical relationship between a man and a woman, an intimate relationship. Therefore a man leaves his family and clings to his wife and they become one flesh. He's not silent in anything. He's the author of all things. There's nothing we can find in a world on which Jesus Christ does not have an opinion. What about paychecks? The workers should not have their wages withheld. Bosses should not withhold the workers wage. Bosses should treat their employees like they themselves want to be treated. They should in fact treat their servants the way they want to be treated. They should come under and lift up. Jesus is not silent in anything. So if you are making a decision to not vote because you're angry that President Trump got, us involved in the Iran war and that's not going well in your minds, okay, Pray for wisdom for him. Write letters to the White House, send emails to the White House, send emails to your representatives, Explain that you are very, very, very upset about these wars. And then do some calculus, spiritual calculus. Does Jesus encourage silence? No, because we've got a whole Bible, 66 books, written largely by people, except for the NewSong Testament, who didn't know one another. And yet there's this grand narrative of words. Jesus Christ was and is the Word, and the word became flesh and dwelt among us. He values words. Guys, Christians have to vote because we are ambassadors to the King. And I went through this morning and I just looked at some of the news on, Fox News, and I just decided to do a little bit of an analysis of, hey, what's out there on the front pages today? Seeing if there's a reason maybe that Christians could stay home. Fox News Republicans and Dems target battleground states in final election sprint, to election day. Okay, and there is President, Trump. There is former President Obama and J.D. vance. That's the image. So let's just do a little bit of analysis from a Christian perspective. President Trump got the, Supreme Court to finally, finally change the perversion of justice that is Roe versus Wade. He achieved that. He achieved that to make the federal government get out of the business of abortion. And there are people who point out that, okay, abortions went up after that. Yep. Because you have blue state governors doing everything they can to make sure that babies are still murdered. Barack Hussein Obama, and I'm going to use, I was just going to tell you flat out, he fell Asleep during the testimony of a woman who survived an abortion. He fell asleep. He yawned during her testimony. And Barack Obama has this thing he does with his middle finger that he thinks is clever, where he scratches, rubs an eye, but obviously with the middle finger where someone's saying something he doesn't like. He pulled that stunt. That's the man who did that. That's a man who made you pay for abortion in Obamacare. That man, he said, when Obamacare was shoved down the throats of the American people, he said, you know, finally, we've ended this, stale, argument over a woman's right to choose. He took your money, and even it was just a dollar to purchase the killing of babies, the murder of babies. And he said that that ended the debate. J.D. vance. J.D. vance knows what it is to love Christ. Now, he can have different opinions, but his opinions are not forcing you into ungodly positions. And you can talk about the war. You can talk about the war between Gaza and Israel or, the Hamas and Israel. You can talk about that. You can debate that. It's debatable. Abortion is not debatable. At no point is taking the life of a little baby not murder. And you can go to the edge cases, sure, edge cases. Very, extremely, extraordinarily rare where it may put a mother's life at risk. Extraordinarily rare. And still you're ending a human life, an innocent life. There is no comparison here between that man, Barack Hussein Obama, and what he did with our tax dollars and what President Trump and J.D. vance have done. It was Obama who freed up money to Iran to build nuclear weapons in direct contravention against the law, a law he signed twice. So that's one headline from Fox News. Christians have to vote. Does Jesus Christ have an opinion about the Roe vs. Wade outcome? Does Jesus Christ have an opinion about an administration that has banned federal dollars being used to chemically and surgically mutilate little children in the name of satanic gender ideology? Barack Obama started that stuff in colleges by pretending men are women and boys are girls. So I'm looking through that at Fox News. Is there any reason here that Christians should not vote? Trump weighs whether to finish them off as alarming. New intel warns of advanced Iranian plot. Again, you can debate that war. You cannot debate abortion. You cannot, as a Christian, debate the chemical and surgical mutilation of children. That's just some examples from Fox News, msnow or msnbc, dot com. I see that msnow is not going where I want it. To go this morning. Mississippi now. Hakeem Jeffries is on the verge of the speakership. Just don't ask him about it, okay? Hakeem Jeffries. Who's he? Hakeem, Jeffries is a guy who will back any position as long as it's ungodly. Chemical, surgical, mutilation of kids. Done. Stealing money from people who never held slaves to give to people who never were sleeves slaves done. Making, coveting the law. Done. Hakeem Jeffries is all over all these things, having no law, lawlessness. He's all over this in terms of open borders, shutting down police in, in, in blue cities. God is a God of law and order, not chaos. Does Jesus Christ have an opinion about that? About whether we should have laws and whether public officials have the duty to see that the law is enforced? Does Jesus have an opinion about that? Let's examine it. We are told that when we work for a boss, even if the boss is difficult, that we need to work as if we're working for Christ Jesus himself. Hakeem Jeffreys works for us. His ultimate boss is the Constitution of the United States. He took a pledge to that. The Constitution of the United States expresses the fact that there are going to be laws of the land, that the legislature will create laws, the executive will enforce the laws, and he doesn't even want the laws enforced. Does Jesus have an opinion about this? Jesus tells us and shows us he's never silent on a thing because he is the way, the truth and the life. No one goes to the Father, but through Him. Christians have to vote. Also from MsNow, MSNBC House Judiciary Democrats released 50 page report on Trump's alleged involvement in the Epstein files. We can go through everybody's alleged involvement in the Epstein files. Does Christ Jesus have an opinion about that? Yes, absolutely. Jeffrey Epstein was a man given to horrible evil. There was great evil done through him. And Jeffrey Epstein, unless he somehow miraculously repented, is where he belongs, apart from God forever. Does the Lord have an opinion about Donald Trump's involvement in this? Yes. He knows every detail. The Lord does. He knows every single detail. And he will judge that perfectly. Are we going to come out of this knowing any details? No. This will be the same recycled things that the Democrats have shown forever. If they had the lock shut case that President Trump abused the bodies of young women, they would have brought that to the table already. They don't have anything like that. It's a distraction. Christians have to vote. Unless it comes out, unless there's this proof, all of A sudden, oh, he did these things. Well, then we can go right back to Joe Biden and his daughter Ashley writing about Joe Biden getting in the shower with her. She started showering late at night because she didn't think it was appropriate for her dad to pop into the shower with her. We can look at his other behaviors, sexual behaviors, his groping of young girls. On, video a young girl admitted, yes, yes, yes, he groped me. But her parents were Democrat activists, so she didn't say anything. She said, I was 14. What am I going to do? So we have to go with what we know. We know we have a choice in this election between a party that is anti God in every conceivable way, right up to denying his existence and featuring false teachers like James Jimmy Tallarico. And we have a party that is wrong on some things, but it is not overtly godless. It is not against God. And it stands behind our ability to speak and live our faith. It stands behind that Jesus Christ has an opinion. Christians have to vote. We are ambassadors of Christ. Go vote. We'll come back under Disciples View. We'll get to the tire babbling In a personal note here in, just a moment, I recently had a opportunity to read a book a friend of mine has written. New friend. I don't know him. Well, the book is beautiful. I suggested some changes to it. Pretty, minor. I mean, they were big to me, but relatively minor things to change, which he then prayerfully thought about and adopted. And I think the book is much better for it. And I, won't give away the title because it's coming up and, I want it to do well. And, what it's about, it's about a boy, who feels different,

Todd Herman he is having trouble making friends. And he is, taken in by teacher at school who says, hey, some people feel different because they were born in the wrong body. And have you ever heard of. Of what this. This teacher in this book calls, being transgender, which is a condition that does not exist. there are people who become confused about their gender. That's real. There's a psychological condition which is a psychosis called gender dysphoria. It is a psychosis. It is a, It's a departure with material fact. You are not the opposite sex. You may feel like it, but you're not. It is a psychosis that exists. And these days, gender rebellion exists. Gender denial. All of that stuff is programmed. Gender denial, gender rebellion. That's all programmed into kids on purpose. Gender dysphoria. It happens just like other psychosis happen. So this book deals, with the very best way that. That we have discovered and God has shown us over the years that we've helped so many families. I mean, it's probably 50 families, and my wife has helped more than I have. and this became a ministry of hers for many, many years. And, I've helped quite a few. But here's what we found works. And this is in the book, and my friend Larry describes this very, very well. Is. Is number one, when a child comes to you, or teen, and says, hey, I need to tell you something. I've come to realize that. That I was not. I'm not supposed to be a boy. I'm supposed to be a girl. And this means that I am so called transgender. the response at that moment is truly vital because they will have been programmed that if you are a Christian family, you're going to become angry and you're going to push back super hard, and, you're going to immediately start throwing Bible verses at them. And people don't care what you know until they know that you care. And this is true for your kids. or maybe it's a grandkid or a nephew, someone coming to you with this. And what we have found works, is immediately greeting that information with, wow, that seems really to be a heavy thing to be carrying. And I imagine that you've been thinking about this for a while. So really appreciate you sharing this with us. Super important, thank you. Tell us more about it now. It'll be hard to sit there and listen to lies, but the person speaking them to you doesn't know their lies. That person has been spiritually captured and that person has been manipulated by society that deeply wants to destroy families. and by a medical system that has learned it's a, it's easily one day a trillion dollar industry, easily, if it's not stopped. So as you're listening, be curious and fight the temptation to argue, taking that information and say, wow, this is a lot. Number one man, I love you. I'm so glad you shared this with us. We're going to work through this. You know, we'll get through this together. That's, that's what we do. We'll work through it together. and just really honored that you shared this with us. And you know, God loves you. Second stage, invoke God's name as a loving God and a truthful God. And I hope you continue to talk with us about this and approach it from a perspective then of your job is to protect for sure. If a teacher is coaching, and a teacher's coming between you guys, depending on where you live, get the kid out of school if need be. If the lines of communication remain open and you're not in a state where a kid can go walk into a Planned Parenthood or some cases schools and get wrong sex hormones secretly. If that doesn't, it's not that it's not the case in your state that it's illegal in your state, then you live in a sane state. If a kid cannot go get wrong sex hormones and surgery, without your permission, you live in a sane state. Now they can travel. But if the lines of communication are open and the child is expressing that they want your input on this, stay put, listen, but plant seeds of doubt. You know, you're 14 and, and how much do you think changes between 14 and 30 or 14 and 25, how many changes do you think people go through? And you know, gosh, I remember when your favorite thing to do in the world was to suck your thumb. Remember that? Remember when you just like to sit and read a Book and suck your thumb. You don't suck your thumb anymore, do you? So what if this all changes? What if. What if God's design for you and for all of us is that we mature over time and that our tastes change over time. And why make a permanent decision? Why did that? And incidentally, why wear a label? You know, these are feelings. I'm not doubting that you feel these things, but these are feelings. So why let a feeling label you? Why put a label in yourself that comes from a feeling? Let's just explore the feelings. And. Yes, and by the way, you know, obviously mom and I, you know, we trust in the word of God, obviously. And God tells us he made us in his image, and therefore we are image bearers of Christ. And that's cool. And God told us he made us male and female in, in that design, in that expression. And so mom and I believe that, that, that, you know, you are male. And, that's what we believe. And how does that feel to you when you hear that, that, share? As long as the lines of communication are open, as long as there's no militants, you are in a good position to go through the process of planting seeds of doubt because over time, this is very supportive. Now, some cautions you need to get immediately with your family and adults who have contact with them over whom you have influence, because you may not have influence in the schools, but you need to get with every single adult who has contact with your kid quietly and say, hey, our son is struggling with this, or our daughter's struggling with this. We're going to ask that you give us your word you will never call them by made up name and that you will never use wrong sex pronouns with them. We, we need your word. And I'm talking grandparents, aunts and uncles. And if we learn differently, if you have done that for, for the period of time through which our kid is going through this, you will have no contact with them. None. It's not a threat. This is for their protection. So can we please count with, count on you with this? And you, you, you might be surprised at, how many, liberal, confused family members will listen to that request and honor it. And there'll be some who won't. So be ready to limit con. To cut contact for the time being, not to hate. You can still have contact with the adult, but not your kid. See, this actually extends into, I know of cases and I just talked to someone who's going through it recently where their own sister said, this woman's sister said, hey, if your mom won't affirm you, I will. I'll be your mom now. So the aunt saying, I'll be your mom now. Now on the other end of this though, I, I know of cases were very liberal, very leftist, very much supporting of same, sex activity, etc, have actually listened to the evidence and said wait, that's insane. Your daughter's always been very feminine. Your daughter's like, what are you talking about? Your daughter thinks she's a boy. That's, that's, that's new. Totally new. We think something bad happened to her. And you'd be surprised. There are very liberal people who say, wow, she needs to slow down. And they might believe that, that transgenderism is real, which is not. They might believe it is, but they're going to look at this. Yeah, this is important. They need to slow this down. Okay, here's our request. Don't use the wrong sex pronouns, and don't use a made up name. And you'd be surprised. Now on the other end of the equation though, there are people who are so captured by this stuff. So captured, with the idol of same sex attraction and the idol of gender confusion and gender lies and really no, that's not true. They're captured by the idol of genderless existence, which is a satanic idea. And if you doubt that, just go back and look at all of the renderings of the Baals. So many of them are sexless. Remember the demon called the enchantress who had promised to make you neither male nor female. Remember the the eunuchs and the sexual meal or the chemical. Yeah. Sexual mutilation of kids in service of false gods back in the day. Remember all that? That still happens by the way in the Middle East. But there's people like this. This is Debbie Cossey. Speaker D I had a picture of what a gay person or a trans person looked like before Noah came out. And it's. I don't even like to talk about it because it's a little bit triggering for me. But you know it was. They, they were very loud. They were very much a gender driven. they wanted to change what I believe they wanted to change the family. I mean all the things. And so when my passive loving, introverted people pleasing son came out, it was like wait a Minute. This is not. This. This is shattering everything I've ever thought. Ever thought. And so I think there is a fear that, of. That. That somebody's going to try to take us down a road that is not good for us. They're going to, you know, take us down the slippery slope, is the, the word that's often used.

Speaker D And make the church, you know, dumbed down. Make scripture dumbed down. I think these are the fears. They don't really know what the reality is, what the truth true picture is of this LGBTQ+ community. And so you got over.

Todd Herman You got over that fear prompted by.

Speaker D Right. Right through exposure.

Todd Herman Right.

Speaker D and honestly, it's so different than what I thought it was. And so my hope for others is for them to get that same gift of perspective. Now, I won't admit that I sometimes pray for leaders to have their children come out because it is the fastest way to get you there, but, well,

Todd Herman then you're not a leader. So she says she's joking. I won't admit that I sometimes pray, for the kids of other church leaders to come out as same sex attracted because it's the fastest way to get you to deny what God says because your kid's going through it. would that be the case if your kid came home and said, I want my teeth removed? Why? I don't think I should have teeth. I. I want them removed. You'd say, no. No. What if your kid came home and said, you know, it's occurred to me I'm not supposed to have legs and I want my legs cut off below the knee. Will you support me in that? You'd say no. There is a condition called, body integrity disorder. It's a psychosis. It's real. And there are, in fact people who have had their legs cut off below the knee. It's usually one leg below the lee, which seems to satisfy the psychosis, to mutilate the body. There is a woman, in the UK who successfully talked a surgeon into paralyzing her waist down. There are people who want to be blind because they feel they were. Be born. They were born to be unsighted. Would you agree with that? What if your kid came home and said, you know what? I've decided that I am hypersexual and God designed me to be hypersexual, so I want to have sex with everybody, everybody I possibly can. I'm going to start keeping a count. Would you mind if I put up on the refrigerator here? Account of the people with whom I'm having sex? No, you'd be terrified. You'd be horrified. You'd know they were spiritually captured. But this woman is, is stating that if your kid came out as same sex attracted, you would suddenly say, well, I guess God was wrong. No, you would love your kid. I love you. Let's talk about this. These are feelings. Why make a feeling into an identity? You know, you shared some feelings with me. People have feelings. Feelings are natural. Let's explore them. Let's talk about them together. And if the lines of communication are open, the person is more open to caring what you know because they've been reminded that you care. And at that point, you gently bring in the word of God. In a personal note here in just a moment, a, quick cleanup item. there's a doctor named Ron Elfenmind and the Department of Justice, the current Department of Justice, that Department of Justice that operates under President Trump's executive branch, is going after this guy for a second time. Here's what he did. Nothing. There are no complaints that any of his patients died. There's no complaints that he, injected people with saline solutions instead of the, poisonous, ridiculous MRNA shots. There are no patient complaints. There's no frauds. There are no victims. And a lawyer, at a conversation with Tucker Carlsen about this, Jon Gross discussed this and made the point. No victims, no physical harm, no medical harm, no complaints. This is the second time the DOJ is going after him. so why is this going on?

Speaker C Yeah, he was going up against the COVID regime and actually presenting what could have been a cure, which is monoclonal antibodies, and they did not want that. So, even though it cured President Trump and whatever it was, so. So he went on TV and spoke about it, and then four months later, they got him on some process crime unrelated from earlier.

Todd Herman A process crime could be a paper, a, paperwork error. It could be a. You didn't file the proper form. He spoke out that injecting a person with antibodies another person had developed that helped them fight off the COVID flu is a good treatment. Option. This, this is his crime. And President Trump's Department of Justice has to decide if they're really going to press this case. Mind you, Tony Fauci killed probably 17 million people with the shots. He has immunity, but his staff doesn't.

Speaker C And, so there's, there's the atmosphere and everything like that. So now they, they, won the trial, but an Obama judge overturned it with a 95 page opinion and said the government did not prove their case. The government appealed it.

Todd Herman How often does that happen?

Speaker C Never, never ever happens. I mean, it's so odd. that's what I'm saying. You have a opinion written by the Chief Judge of the District of Maryland who was appointed by Obama, who wrote a 95 page opinion going through detail why this is a terrorist.

Todd Herman Overturning a jury decision, overturning a jury

Speaker C decision, saying that there's no basis in law to convict this guy, which by the way, tells you about a lot of these cases that the judges maybe don't overturn it, but there's no basis for the jury. So Ron, is now facing trial in January. It's now, it's October, we're getting into mid October, so they're going to have to start prepar for trial.

Todd Herman The government, even after a judge overturned the jury's verdict because it was inconsistent with the law, the government took up the case again. I'm going to continue to state that President Trump is 100%, completely, utterly owned by pharma. Doesn't mean I'm not going to vote Republican. I am because the Democrat party backs, satanic positions on every, on every front. But it's deeply frustrating, is deeply sad, and, and I think Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Has done what he can. So I will remind everybody, because I love you, that you are your first and last line of defense in regards to your body. And there's a war against your body. Know them by their fruits. If you're talking to a doctor and interviewing a doctor about maybe getting into their practice and having them treat you, your families, some very simple questions. Ask them. some. These are, these are just drop dead easy questions. Is there such a thing as a transgender child? If the answer is anything other than no, that's a big strike against him, I would walk out. Can a child be born in the wrong body? If the answer is anything other than no, I would walk out. How did the, Pfizer and Moderna Covid shots work? How, what was their function? How did they operate? If it's anything other than Them saying, well, those, shots caught your body to produce a facsimile of the spike protein in your body by manipulating your genes. I personally would walk out. What's the top cause of type 2 diabetes in the country? if it's, I don't know, or there's a lot of factors to that, I would walk out. It's nutrition. That's what's causing most type 2 diabetes in the country. So you are your first line of defense, first and last line of defense. And keep that in mind that the Lord allows us to check people by their fruits. If a doctor doesn't know how the COVID shot works, that doctor is not qualified to practice, certainly not to give you advice in terms of vaccines. if the doctor contends that a person can be born in the wrong body, that doctor is either deeply, deeply stupid, or evil or lying, in which case there's not somebody you can trust with your care. So we just need to get really good at that, and we need to celebrate good doctors. You know, if you work with a good physician, share that, do word of mouth, give great reviews. You know, if you go meet with a doctor who tells you a kid can be born in the wrong body, go review him that way. If you're watching the, riots in France and the burning down of historic buildings, you'll notice that there's lots of Libyan flags, Syrian flags, Iranian flags, Palestinian flags, and Hamas flags. Flags. you won't see very many French flags. And you'll notice, that there was a map apparently given out of, of Jewish businesses. They were destroyed. Muslim businesses were not touched. And yet on cnn, Abby Phillips says it has nothing to do with immigration or what she likes to say, the brown people. That actually is the true warning for America. It's not even so much like, oh, it's about them. It's about the brown people coming in. It's actually about a country that is dealing with incredibly high debt, increasing bond rates, increasing unemployment, lower prospects for young people. Yeah, but they've got free health care and free college. Right. And incidentally, the Immigrants, both legal and illegal. Most of them are illegal because the EU shoved them into France. They left countries that aren't just dealing with debt. They left countries, that people subsist hand to mouth, that live under rulers. And oddly, though, they're all young men of military age. I wonder why that is. Next sound bites in today's tar babbling. Abdul El Sayyad, he was in this back room, and this is one of his supporters. He's back there with Hassan Piker. Hassan Piker, who openly says, yes, I hate the United States. Yes, I want to see her overthrown. He's a guy who says, if you want health care to be solved in this country, assassinate US Senators like Ron Johnson. So they're in the back room visiting. It's a little bit hard to hear, but he's describing the voters. I hope the voters of Minneapolis or, Minnesota will listen to this.

Todd Herman People aren't stupid. This politics of no translation is going to be the way forward. No, for sure. Money on politics, money in your pocket, Medicare for all. No one has to decipher what the hell that means. So people are stupid. So the politics of no translation is the way to move forward. Medicare for all means money in your pocket because the voters are stupid. And that's the guy who wants to be a senator from, representing, the Muslim Brotherhoods by way of Minneapolis. Abdul El Sayed. Last sound bites in today's tar babbling. Alyssa Slotkin, had come out and said that if they win, the House and the Senate, or in one day, the presidency, they want to turn every possible legal mechanism of the federal government against young people, to punish young people, to scare young people into never getting involved with President Trump. So in the midterms, how can we prosecute enough young people and scare them? Is it with the irs? What, what do we do to scare them so they never do anything for President Trump? Now suddenly she's concerned about authoritarian tactics and push back.

Jenna Ellis And I, I think the goal, by the way, is to intimidate. The goal is to create so many threats against you, your family and your staff that you shut up.

Todd Herman She literally said, did this woman. She literally said, that's. That's, that's what she wants to do. That's. That's her goal.

Jenna Ellis So that's what I'm saying. I want to look at these signature cases and not just focus on the president, but on the people who enabled him. I want young people coming out of school to say, should I go work for The Trump administration. Like, that sounds fun. I might get an opportunity. I want them to be like, lord, that might be buying myself a ton of problems.

Todd Herman leave it there on a disciples view. On a personal note today, you know, peer, pressure can be a really, really bad thing. for some people, it depends on how you are, how God made you, into what degree you are, vulnerable to peer pressure. And this will sound like a brag. I know. I've always been someone who, who kind of stands against the crowd in many ways. Many ways. I mean, yeah, sure, when I was a kid, I wanted my hair to look like, this or that kid because he. Girls paid attention to him. I'm not saying that I didn't fall for that. but I've kind of been someone who just am an iconoclast. Like, I like to, I'm programmed to tear down the ways that things have been done. Which is weird that I'm a conservative and a Christian. Although, of course, Christ was seen by the world as an iconoclast. He can't be iconoclastic because he's God. But peer pressure can be incredibly helpful. You know, a few years ago, in one of the youth groups in which I work, I was starting the process of, of officially discipling a kid. What does that mean? It means having a conversation, one ah on one, and saying, hey, I've seen God's doing mighty things in you. A lot of great works. I've seen a heart change in you. I've seen that you're empathetic and that you, you care for the people around you. I've seen that God has matured you. You're asking great questions about the Bible and the faith. Would you like to be officially discipled? And I don't know. What does that mean? Means that you and I would get some books in addition to the Bible. We would read them together. I'll get you a copy. I'll have a copy. They're workbooks. You and I will work through them together. You'll share your answers with me, I'll share mine with you. and I want to show you what it's like to live life as a Christian man. I will Share with you my mistakes, because I still make them. And when I make one, while we're working together, I'll share that with you. I will give you some insights into how I've applied scripture successfully. We'll go out and do some things together, and they might even be activities where you and I go share the faith together. Like, you and I might go to an event and say, hey, you know what? Let's see how many people we can naturally, without being weird Bible thumpers, how we can naturally drop God into conversations and see if we could engage people in discussion of the Lord Jesus. He says, yeah, I'm down. I'm down. So having done that, I brought some books to the next youth group. Hey, hey, brother. Here's the books we talked about. I'm looking forward to working with you on this. Do you know that the next day, I got a note from a guy who was a really good friend of that kid. Hey, Todd, how. How quickly can I get, baptized? Now, we'd already talked about baptism. He already wanted to do it, but we were going to schedule it at a specific time where he could have all the kids together. He wanted to speed that up. He wanted to be part of a discipleship group. God had called to him saying, hey, what are you waiting for? He'd seen a, friend take a step. And I believe God worked through that friend for this other boy to want to take a step. We should encourage not peer pressure, but pure modeling, because God doesn't pressure. He invites. It's Satan who pressures. In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. Because we believe, we speak. Because he first loved us, we speak His Word. We walk in the path of Jesus Christ to make disciples of all nations until God grants us permission to speak again. To them is peace which transcends all understanding.
