Introduction to A Disciple's View with Todd Herman and His Core Beliefs
Todd Herman God has really blessed me. He, let me work in dc, let me work with EIB and Hollywood in Silicon Valley. And he's shown me through all those experiences that there is one problem and one solution. And that's why we do this show. Welcome to a disciples view with Todd Herman. When the God of the universe created the world, he didn't snap his fingers or wink his eye. The Lord spoke and go. God said, let there be light, because we believe, we speak about the happenings in this world, mindful that our true home is with Jesus Christ in his kingdom. I'm Todd Herman. Welcome to a disciples view.
Examining Signs of Programmed Beliefs and Focusing on Immigration Enforcement
Let's do a quick ish, run through on some signs that your friends and family might have been programmed, programmed to believe things and, therefore to feel things. And, we're going to really focus on the area of, immigration enforcement, which has never been done before. Like this. We've never seen ICE this active. Right. we've never seen concern about ice, breaking down doors in the middle of the night to families who, have working parents here. Right? That's never. It's. This is just Trump. Right?
The Controversy of Foreigners Voting in Elections and Lack of Verification
And there are senators who are now trying to walk these comments back who've explained that Trump is so dangerous and so orange and so obviously, literally, literally Hitler. Not even kind of Hitler, but is actually orange Hitler, that she wants to use the government to threaten, young people and to, use lawfare against them lest they get the crazy idea of becoming active in politics to, help the, Trump administration. She wants them to feel threatened away from that. But let's begin where we said we would, which is an immigration, and then move through this discussion. And again, the goal is, have your friends and family been programmed to believe a thing and therefore to feel a thing? Many of your friends and family will probably in discussion, say to you, look, this whole thing about foreigners voting in our elections is nonsense. There's never been any evidence that this happens in any big numbers. You know, certainly not something that could sway an election. This is all about not liking black and brown people. Okay, this is from United States Attorney Bill, Asali.
California's Failure to Verify Citizenship and Potential Dilution of American Votes
He's operating out of Los Angeles right now. He writes, massive concession. Los Angeles election officials just told a federal court they have no independent way to verify citizenship beyond what voters attest. They simply take their word for it. Under federal law, only citizens may vote in federal elections. Yet California has not acted on the list of 20,000 suspected non citizens or agreed to set aside their ballots. American citizens votes are being Diluted in California. And he points right there to the statement from the Los Angeles, elections officials, one of whom is a guy named Dean Logan. He runs that. Dean Logan, 100% without doubt stole, elections in Washington state using mail in voting. Absolutely, unequivocally, undoubtedly stole them. Without doubt. We had a Republican secretary of state there say behind closed doors, look, you know what? This was probably stolen, but we can't afford to have people thinking our elections are stolen, so let's just let it go. It's just one election.
Proving Foreign Voter Fraud is Difficult by Design, Leading to Open Doors for Fraud
So Dean Logan now runs the elections in Los Angeles. Let's just examine this. Your friends and family might say, look, there's no proof, of a large number of foreigners voting in our elections. Certainly not enough to sway elections. Exactly. Because there is no way to prove it. By design. By design. Open door to fraud. I just was looking at a video out of Minnesota where a person, no idea if it's a male or female, and you wouldn't have an idea either, in an all black burka, walked up to the table, at an elections location and was signing, a form attesting, ah, to being somebody, you know, a legal form. I am this person. Okay, well, you're that person. We can't see your eyes, we can't see your face, the form of your body, but, okay, you get to vote. It doesn't take that many people to change an election. 20,000 is more than enough if you know what you're doing on a congressional seat, if you know what you're doing, or on, city elections. So this brings us then to just this examination. Do you have friends and family who firmly believe that this has been scoured and looked into and studied and there's just not happening? How do you deal with it?
Dealing with Friends and Family's Programmed Beliefs and Senator Stockton's Plan
You're not going to change their minds. You cannot change their minds. But God can change their hearts. Love them. Aside from the fact that they are absolutely captured mentally and probably spiritually, love them. Despite that. This is, I mentioned this earlier. This is Senator Elisa Stockton. Her plan to politically persecute young conservative men.
Jenna Ellis So that's what I'm saying. I want to look at these signature cases and not just focus on the president, but on the people who enabled him. I want young people coming out of
Dr. Jessica Peck school to say, should I go work
Jenna Ellis for the Trump administration? Like that sounds fun. I might get an opportunity. I want them to be like, lord, that might be buying myself a ton of problems that I don't want. And so let me avoid participating in that.
Political Persecution and Using Government Tools to Deter Youth Political Involvement
I want that deterrence message.
Todd Herman I want to politically persecute people, to scare young people away from carrying out their conscience. I want to use the tools of government to do that. But it's Trump who's punishing enemies. Oh, recently, by the way, we don't have time to pull this sound bite, but the same senator, now says that she is being threatened because she had the audacity to talk about corruption in the White House. There is corruption in the White House. 100%. 100%. I'm sorry, but there is. We, as Christian men, have to be able to call this out. Now. We've talked about this, and we'll talk about it again. I'm still going to vote Republican because the Democrats sponsor everything satanic. But that's not why she's being criticized. And she shouldn't be threatened. We're not threatening her. We don't do that. But she's making the case that Trump land is so bizarre and so outside the norm that we should use IRS and DOJ to scare young people to not get involved. Okay, let's continue to walk through this. This check on. Have your friends and family been programmed? Are they concerned about that? Well, no, because Orange man, literally, Hitler, they've been programmed to think a thing and therefore to feel a thing. One of the things they think is that only Trump, only Trump has ever enforced immigration this way. Okay, let's check that.
Examining Obama's Administration's Immigration Enforcement Policies and Comparisons
In 2016, a press secretary, in other words, a spokeslayer for Barack Obama, was asked about reported ICE immigration raids.
Todd Herman Josh? there have been reports that, Department of Homeland Security and ICE have begun, removal operations. I think what they're calling it, others are calling it raids, against Central American families who came across the border, illegally, over the past year and a half. and some of the reports suggest that, you know, families. The Los Angeles Times exploited a woman saying her family in Georgia, ICE agents came in room to room, woke up her own kids. They were shaking with fear, wondering if the administration can confirm that those operations have begun and whether the White House has had input, directly with dhs, about how did those operations should be handled and whether there are any concerns about striking fear into the communities, including those who may be here legally living with some of these other folks as these are carried out.
Todd Herman So to recap, ICE was breaking indoors at night, where families were snoozing, arresting people who've been operating in the country, you know, feeding their families. Now, there were criminals, some of them, for breaking into the country. Just that some of them for subsequent crimes. So of course, the spokesperson for Barack Obama said, oh, my gosh, I had no idea this was going on. We'll stop this immediately. This is not America. This is a threat to our democracy. This is an opportunity. This is a threat to voting rights and the bipocs. That's not what he said. Nope. Again, this is in 2016. Here was the press secretary's response.
DHS Prioritization of Recent Arrivals and Tom Homan's Role in Obama's Efforts
Todd Herman David, for individual, operations, I'd refer you to the Department of Homeland Security. And they can, they can discuss with you individual operations that were, carried out. What I can tell you is that the Department of Homeland Security has prioritized the cases of recent arrivals, individuals who recently crossed the border into, the United States without proper documentation. and those again, based on public statements, including a statement that was recently issued by the Secretary of Homeland Security, were the, the nature of the operations that were carried out over the last several days. this is consistent with the kinds of priorities that the President himself has talked about.
Todd Herman Okay, so he's just going to refer that to Homeland Security, gets to make those decisions. And the reporter asked if the President had a discussion about the contact of immigration, enforcement President himself talked at
Todd Herman all about with the Department of Homeland Security about sort of the way these operations are conducted and the tone that they're taking with, you know, in the way that they look for the immigrants in Iran.
Todd Herman And the press secretary responded, well, obviously
Todd Herman in terms of setting policy, the, the White House and the Department of Homeland Security have had discussions about, about some of these matters. But ultimately, when it comes to enforcement issues, those are decisions that are made by law enforcement professionals.
Todd Herman Okay, go back to 2016, look through your friends and family's Facebook pages and find the post. If your friends and family hate Trump because he is literally Hitler, he is orange Hitler. ICE has never done this. They've never gone out and enforced immigration this way. And find the post of outrage on this where Obama was having it under him. By the way, it was Thom Homan who was directing it. Same guy directing Trump's efforts. President Obama gave Thom Homan a medal.
Protesters' Actions and CNN's Coverage of ICE Raids in Sanctuary Cities
Yeah, but ICE wasn't shooting people in the face. Nope. And guess what? Organized, funded protesters weren't out obstructing justice and trying to run over ICE officers because they hadn't been told to, because they're programmed too. Another example, okay, In May of 2016, CNN did a segment called A Day with Ice in a so called sanctuary city.
CNN's Exclusive Access to ICE Raids and Mistaken Arrests During Operations
They actually said sanctuary city throughout you will notice, some now uncharacteristically favorable coverage.
Dr. Jessica Peck Just before the sun rises in the Windy City, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agen fan out across Chicago to arrest criminals in the US illegally.
Jeff Chamblee Tack1 tac2.
Dr. Jessica Peck CNN was granted exclusive access to witness some of those raids. How many people are involved with this operation, particularly right now?
Jeff Chamblee I have a five man arrest team here, situated in this neighborhood here on the street. You see the stoop going up? I have a couple guys sitting right inside that stoop. This is part of what we do. Keep eyes on somebody and try to be as covert as we can.
Todd Herman And CNN's tone was understanding. When ICE mistook an illegal for his brother.
Dr. Jessica Peck This may look organized, but in this moment, confusion.
Jeff Chamblee There's always challenges we face when you're, it's dark, somebody that looks very similar to an individual.
Dr. Jessica Peck ICE agents mistakenly arrest the target's brother
Jeff Chamblee in the process of talking to, to him in the vehicle. He then said, oh, no, I'm actually so and so. Who you're looking for is over here, this other address. He led us to that address and we were able to actually arrest the individual we were looking for.
Todd Herman And CNN also aired footage of the ICE agents describing the crimes committed by the illegal aliens without any spin.
Jeff Chamblee Next target, somebody that did set some 10 years for narcotics trafficking.
ICE Arrests, Use of Fake Identities, and Shift in CNN's Tone on Immigration Enforcement
He's also been arrested for DUI. We also may be attempting to criminal prosecute this individual because he was previously removed from the country, which is a federal felony.
Dr. Jessica Peck You have evidence, right, that he's using a fake identity or.
Jeff Chamblee That is correct. we believe he's been using a US citizen's identity to live and work. Has, an Illinois driver's license.
Dr. Jessica Peck Immigration and Customs Enforcement just arrested its second target. It has had surveillance on this person, for a while now.
Jeff Chamblee This individual was incarcerated at Cook County Jail at one point and he was released without notification to ICE previously. If we had been in the jail like we were prior to the 2011 ordinance, we probably could have arrested the individual at Cook County Jail. Much more safe and secure location.
Dr. Jessica Peck He's going to be processed, they're going to fingerprint him, ask him questions and there's a whole process that goes into place before anyone is deported back, including including seeing a judge.
Todd Herman Okay, so that was a very, ah, very loving documentary, mini documentary about ICE and how they're good at their job and due process and oh gosh, they made a tiny mistake and Thom Holman was running it then. It's funny that CNN has changed their tone Now, ICE are Nazis, Trump is Hitler, and if your family members have been programmed to feel and believe these things, treat it as sin.
Listener Email Discussing Women in Pastoral Roles and Disciples View Perspective
Welcome back to Disciples View. I'm Todd Herman. We'll get to the tower babbling in a personal note and a cleanup item. Next segment. really loving email I received and, fits well into the second segment. We're really concentrating on being in the world and not of it. And, Mike from Nebraska writes. Dear Todd, I enjoy your show, appreciate many of your insights. I wanted to share a perspective regarding your comments on a Disciples View on the Scripture prohibiting women from serving as pastors. While I recognize this is a common teaching within many evangelical and Southern Baptist circles, I believe a deeper examination of the text offers a different context.
Examining Scriptural Interpretations on Women's Roles in Ministry and Leadership
I believe it's also that within the Catholic Church, is it not? Many of the passages often cited address specific cultural issues, such as instances of disruption in congregations like Corinth, or refer to women being in submission to their own husbands rather than issuing a universal prohibition against women in pastoral leadership. Furthermore, writes our friend, scripture mentions women prophesying with signs of authority and historical biblical figures like, ah, Junia, numbered among the apostles, Deborah, the judge of Israel, and, Philip's, prophet daughters held significant roles in ministry and leadership. In passages such as I suffer not a woman to teach a man, the broader biblical context suggests the translation relates specifically to the man, inferring her man rather than all men in general. This nuance seems to be frequently overlooked in the broader discussion, but has great implications in church life. Granted that historically women were considered second class to men, but not because God wanted them to be so.
Women's Societal Contributions and Discrepancy in Evaluating Liberal vs. Conservative Women
Yes, they have a very, time consuming, extremely viable role and responsibility with children caring for the home of their husbands. But this does not negate their input in society or community. For instance, most teachers in school are women, depending on the subject. This does not mean to say that the feminist points of view are correct. They're not. But women bring as much to society as a whole. For example, my wife teaches biblical citizenship with Patriot Academy. She's run for county supervisor. This is not usurping the man's authority. In fact, it reinforces it. Let me ask about this scenario. AFR has several women led programs that, quote, teach us various things. Should men turn off their radios or put in earplugs when they're on the air or in the home or car when they're teaching? Sounds ridiculous, doesn't it? Because it is ridiculous. I, personally get a lot of insights from Jenna Ellis, doctor, nurse, mama, Sandy Rio, 24 7. Nancy Damas Wogamuth and other women who are great speakers in various shows in afr. Should I disregard their positions of teaching or what they teach? For what it's worth, I vehemently agree with you when you bring up examples and sound bites of liberal women clergy being deceptive or apostate. And they are, but that's because of their anti biblical and leftist comments, not because they are women.
Listener's Perspective on Scripture, Women in Ministry, and Todd's Response
I would disagree with their comments if they were male or female. I'm sharing this with you because I think you would investigate what I'm saying and deeper in scripture. And obviously you're entitled to your own conclusions. But hopefully I added some more, but some more for you to think about. Thank you for your time in considering this perspective. Very specifically, Mike from Nebraska. Mike, thank you, very, very much for the note. I appreciate the tone and how it's written and that you're listening that intently. And let me respond personally. Then let's get into some scripture and then maybe just one way that I've learned or been taught to view these things when there might be some ambiguity, and that's how I operate in this realm.
Appreciation for Women's Contributions and Personal Experiences with Female Leaders
number one, I learn a lot from Dr. Nurse Mama, too. I, I, you know, I only barely got to meet her last time I was in, in Mississippi, which about three weeks ago now. And I really enjoy her program. I like it when she and, and, and, when she's on with Wesley. I enjoy their conversations and I think that she's a great teacher, great depth. Sandy, Rios. I wouldn't be here, without Sandy and Frank Trek and I adore Sandy's intellect and have had great conversations with she and her husband. If you've not met her husband, amazing guy. So certainly, yeah, I mean, women can teach us much. one of my favorite bosses of all time was a woman, and I should have just gone to work for her when I was at Microsoft. I should just join her division and gone to work for her. She certainly helped my career enormously. Great, great, great executive. in fact, my first two female bosses. I learned a lot from, Jackie and Dia back in the day.
Distinguishing American Family Radio from a Church and Scriptural Interpretations on Roles
Great, great bosses. So, yeah, I'm not comparing AFR to a church, and I think we make that clear. You know, American Family Radio. We are blessed, to have God work through these stations to reach people, and people hear the word of God for the first time, sometimes accidentally. But we're not a church. and I know some of the passages you're talking about. Galatians chapter three, verses 26 through 28. so in Christ Jesus, you're all children of God through faith. All of you who are baptized into Christ have clothed yourself with Christ. There's neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free. There's never male or female. You're all one in Christ. I hear this quoted a lot, by people who are egalitarian rather than complementarian. That is to believe, equal roles for men and women versus complementary roles. there's this. Romans, chapter 16, verses, you know, chapter one, verses four through seven, lists some. Some female leaders in the church. I commend to you our sister Phoebe. Phoebe, who is a deacon of the church in Centuria. Greet, Andronachos and Genea, my fellow Jews who have been in prison with me.
Examining Historical Female Leaders and the Context of Teaching and Instruction
They're outstanding among the apostles, and they were in Christ before I was. True. And the context here is important in that. Right. Then, at that point, there were no male leaders who knew the faith well enough to lead. When that came about, those women stepped down and men took their roles. Acts, chapter 18, verses 24 through 26. And this features, Priscilla and her husband Aquila, and they were correcting and instructing a male teacher named Apollos. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they invited him to their home and explained to him the way of God more adequately. Right. Privately, two people instructing another. Two older people instructing a third, but not teaching in public. And then I know people quote this as well. Acts, chapter 2, verses 17 through 18. Also, you can quote Joel, chapter 2, 20, 29.
Prophecy in the Last Days and How Jesus Modeled Revolutionary Behavior
In the last days, God says, I will pour out my spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Even on my servants, both men and women. I will pour out my spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. And we can get to Deborah and et cetera. So, I mean, and I'm not trying to just quickly move through these. I just want to make sure that we have time in this segment to get what needs to get done done. So I can understand, people who take this point of view. And, then I. I say, how do you do? How do you deal with this when there is an ambiguity? Well, who should we turn to as our model? How about Paul? Wait, no, Jon.
Jesus' Interactions with Women and His Revolutionary Treatment of Them
Hold it. Matthew. Matthew. Wait, wait, wait. How about Jesus? Jesus had no problem treating women in a way that was seen by the world as revolutionary or defiant or rebellious. Now, Christ Jesus is incapable of being defiant or rebellious because he's God and acted in perfect submission. To God the Father, and because he is the way, the truth, and the life. Okay, so he can't be rebellious. But meeting with the woman at the well, right there in broad daylight, a rabbi alone with a Samaritan woman, utterly scandalous.
Jesus' Actions and Interactions That Were Considered Scandalous by Society
And Jesus was very blunt with her. You are right to say you have no husband and the one you're living with now is not your husband. And you've had seven husbands or something. Six or seven. And yet he right there confessed in person for really the first time to an outsider that he was the Messiah. When is but walking around as the Messiah. Scandalous. Allowing a hemorrhaging woman to touch him and to speak to him and to not have her cast out of town for being unclean. Scandalous. And he healed her. She didn't even speak. She touched his garment. And then when he was asking who touched him, she said, it was I, Lord, and your faith has healed you, daughter. So that was scandalous. Having Mary Magdalene in what approached his inner circle was scandalous. In fact, I believe the Pharisees spoke about this. He has women following him.
God's Creation of Male and Female, Egalitarian vs. Complementarian Views
So Jesus wasn't shy about that. And you're correct, my friends from, Nebraska. Mike, in this email you wrote, you're correct in that God doesn't discount women. We are made in his image, male and female. He made us in his image. He chose the woman to be a special helper to the man and for the man to come under and lift up his wife as a servant leader, a sacrificial leader. That's all true. So when people who are egalitarian come along and say, but there were female leaders. True. Until men had been brought up to a point where they could lead.
How Jesus and His Apostles Modeled Leadership and Interactions with Women
How did Jesus do it? What did his immediate apostles do? I mean, they're only apostles. People who knew him. What did they do in church structure? They walked with him for three years. They didn't discount women. In fact, they made sure that the Greek widows were cared for. Women were treated better in the Christian church, or as it was called at the time, the way. But they didn't preach or teach men. So when there's a tie in your mind and you're looking at the Scriptures and you're balancing it, I just go back to say, how did Jesus model it?
Masculine Men in North Idaho and Their Views on Church Attendance
You could extend this into. And this is very common where I live, super common. I live in North Idaho. And we have a lot of very masculine men who. And I don't know what that means to you. but very physical, very physically strong. CS Lewis called them men. With chests. And that means more than physicality. It means bravery and, and self sacrifice and patriotism. Men with chest. But we have loggers and roofers and land developers, and there's a mining culture here. And physicality is kind of a big deal here. So if you come to church here, like at our church, you'll see a lot of guys who are, yoked.
Todd Herman Yoked.
Todd Herman You know, they're built. And outside of the church community, this is very common. And I'll get this from people if I'm just having a conversation with men somewhere. Yeah, you know, I don't really go to church, because Jesus didn't. What?
Jesus' Example in the Synagogue and the Early Church's Structure and Practices
No, Jesus didn't go to church. Sure he did. He went to the synagogue. Well, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, the synagogue. But that's, you know, that's, that he's Jewish. That was a tradition. But he didn't build a church yet. No, he did. No, no, he didn't. He was. It was. We are the church. The body. Yes, true, true, true. Much more important, we are the church. Absolutely. The body of the Christ is the church. We don't go to church. We are the church. The church building is where the body of Christ comes together. True, true, true. But what did the apostles do after Christ ascended back into heaven? They set up a church in a location. the first locations were in homes or courtyards because of the technocratic Jewish religious authorities, and the Roman authorities. But it was a location and they met together daily. That's how they did it because that's how Christ Jesus modeled it. In those three years, more is caught than taught. They watched him and his zeal for his father's house.
Zeal for God's House and the Role of Women in Early Christian Communities
Fulfilling scripture and your zeal for your father's house will consume you. This is the turning over the tables. Another thing that's very popular in north Idaho for men to speak about. So did women teach in those days? No. Did they preach to men in those days? No. Now, this is funny to me, because there is a power in being the unofficial leader.
The Power of Selling the Skeptic and Leading Through Influence
there's a saying back in the day when I helped teach sales people how to sell and presenters how to present. I would tell people, sell the skeptic. If you're making a presentation to a room, look around, identify the skeptic, and you aim all your energy at selling the skeptic. Because something happens when the skeptic starts to lean in. Other people feel safe leaning in and agreeing with you. Likewise, figure out who the leader is in the room. It's not always the person who has the biggest title in the business card. Figure out who the leader is in the room. And the leader is the person other people don't criticize. You will get a sense for it. Sell that person. Point is this. There's a woman at our church who was on the founding team and there was seven people that God worked through to found our church. And the Lord has grown our church into five locations here in Idaho and a sixth in Texas. And I believe we have now some, somewhere along the order of 20,000 active members.
The Growth of a Church Plant and the Wisdom of Women Leaders
God has blessed us enormously and the leadership team will be the first people to say, wow, God figured out how to do that despite our foibles and mess ups. You know it's funny, when that woman speaks, the men listen. I've seen it in meetings. hey, by the way, she doesn't believe men should preach or women should preach or teach men. She won't do it. I've been in prayer rooms with her and she'd asked me, there were just women in me and she asked me to open with her prayer. I said, you should do this. She said, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You, you do it please. Respecting what the Lord taught. But when she spoke, I've been in meetings with her where there's, there's men in official church leadership.
Respect for Wisdom Regardless of Gender and Adhering to God's Teachings
When that lady opens her mouth, man, I'll tell you, the men, particularly young men, they stop mouths shut and they listen to the voice of wisdom and love. Because God created us in his image, male and female. He created us. I hope that helps explain my position a little bit. You can always email me commentsfr.net or just go to my website, the toddhermanshow.com we'll come back under this apples view.
Introduction to the Surveillance and Control State and Its Implications
Sam M. Welcome back to Deceptions View. I'm Todd Herman.
iVoterGuide as a Resource for Investigating Political Candidates and Initiatives
If you haven't been to ivoterguide yet, man, this is a resource that the American Family association invested in and I used to build, I ran a team, that built political tech when I was running the technology at the Republican National Committee. And that team of incredibly smart, really talented folks. This is an enormously helpful tool and it takes a lot of effort to run something like this. This will help you with judicial positions which are hard to investigate and they're spot on. I did this in Idaho and then looked over at the separate country of Washington state because they still keep a tab on that place. Spot on.
Todd Herman Initiatives,
Todd Herman Senate seats, really. It's, it's a depth I haven't seen before. And it's not just on the liberal conservative perspective. it's also on. It's based upon God's word on a Christian perspective. Ivoterguide.com and for those of you who gave during share, you know, it's not, quote, just the radio programs you support. Praise God. Thank you. We don't exist without your donations.
Todd Herman Ah.
Supporting Tools like iVoterGuide and the Future of the Surveillance State
Todd Herman And we're deeply thankful for all of you. you also support tools like that, and I would suggest you share that with people, maybe a friend. They won't ever turn on this radio program or anything on afr. And that's their loss. not necessarily this program, but, the great programs here, with, you know, brother Bert and, Tim, the gang and Jenna. Their loss. But they might look at a website or download an app. So please send them over to ivoterguide.com, amazing, resource. We're going to talk next week about more on the topic of the surveillance and control state. because the more I study the surveillance and control state, the more it looks like to me in the next year to two years, these, these disparate interlocking parts are going to come down and lock together.
The UN's Push for a Digital Currency, Vaccine Passports, and QR Codes
And this, to me is the precursor to the mark of the beast. Up to and including the fact. Did you know that the UN intends for you to have a QR code? You know, those annoying little things that we're told to take pictures of with their phones? I'll never do that because it is habituating us being told to report our locations and to not care what our devices are downloading. and there's a whole pathway that this is intended to have US walk. The UN has a program called, it's called 50 in 5. 50 countries, all United around a central bank, digital currency, so called vaccine, passports, and QR code. Check ins with your own QR code and this will track all of your behaviors wherever you're at. Now, they can already do this through biometrics, but they want you to be habituated to.
Apple's Lockouts and the Implications of Unexplained Terms of Service Violations
It's your job to check in wherever you go with your QR code. You then become that code. They want this to be tied into medical databases, et cetera. That's one piece of this. And I was just reading this morning that Apple has been locking people out of their text messaging apps, not telling them why. You just wake up, you are not allowed to text people or receive texts. They don't tell you, they don't notify your friends or your family. And they're suggesting that it has something to do with you. Violated a terms of service, but they won't tell you. How did you know? That's not a phone you own.
Flock Surveillance System and a Case of Car Damage and Unjustified Police Searches
So that's coming together. There's the Flock surveillance company. I just watched an extraordinary story about a woman who had her car destroyed by a towing company after the police tracked her down. Not by her. Not by her license plate number, but by how her car looks using the Flock surveillance and control system. They accused her of being involved in a shooting. Later cleared her name. But that was, during that period of time. They towed her car and a towing company did about $3,000 in damage to the car. So this is a story out of Georgia. So police officers pulled a guy over in a gas station parking lot where seatbelt laws don't apply. But for a seatbelt violation, here's what the sheriff's office was doing while a lawsuit took place.
Todd Herman It all started three years ago when sheriff's deputies took Tyler Merkerson to the ground and tased him. The encounter left him bruised and with an uneasy feeling whenever he saw deputies on the road.
Lawsuit Alleging Retaliation and the Need for Guardrails on Police Surveillance
Todd Herman I felt like they were following me or watching me.
Todd Herman After the stop, the charges against Merkerson were dropped and he sued the two deputies who arrested him.
Todd Herman I got a lawsuit over.
Todd Herman But while the lawsuit was pending, Merkerson felt like he solved deputies everywhere. So to try and put his mind at ease, he searched his plate on have I been flocked?
Todd Herman And, there was five searches.
Todd Herman Five searches, all while suing the department. The reasons listed for at least two of the searches were simply info and 37.
Jeff Chamblee Yeah.
Todd Herman My reaction was that he was being retaliated for exercising his constitutional rights.
Todd Herman Krish hall is Tyler Merkerson's attorney. In a new lawsuit challenging those searches, he says that Flock can be a valuable crime fighting tool, but that they want more guardrails on when police can search.
Todd Herman Now, we support the police here. I do, certainly in law and order. but that should never be allowed to happen.
The Surveillance State, Mark of the Beast, and Illegal Immigration Definitions
You should have to have a valid reason. If they wanted to attach a tracking device to his car, they'd need a warrant. Why are they able to treat the Flock surveillance and control system as a tracking device, especially in a circumstance like that? On this program, we thank the Lord for placing supposedly wise people, like people who are sending us down the path to the mark of the beast on tall towers of shaking sand with their feature called the Tower of babbling.
Jeff Chamblee You know about the biblical truth of
Todd Herman the tower of Babel? A, Disciples view presents the Tower of Babbling.
Dr. Jessica Peck It's not a criminal violation to enter the country illegally. It's not.
Jenna Ellis It's not a criminal.
Todd Herman It's crime. It's not a crime, by the way. It's a crime. Just so we know, three sound bites, in today's Tower babbling. That's almost always the case.
Abdul El-Sayed's Past Support for the Muslim Brotherhood and Changing Stance
Abdul. this was a. This was a surprise. And credit where credit's due. NBC News actually pressured Abdul El Sayed on his old tweets in support of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Todd Herman We have no ties. So your mother had no ties. I have never had these conversations with my mother. I wasn't raised so you were unaware. But I'm just telling you that, like, you're using hearsay evidence from a tweet. She's not serious. But you've also gone to the president right now. You've also gone after the truthfulness. So when people ask you a question, they all do expect the truth. And do you think. Do you think. Are you. Are you insinuating that somehow I was lying? I don't know. That's why I'm asking. And I'm telling you I was not.
Todd Herman Yeah, you are, because the question was, do you have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood? Does your mother. Your answer was, I don't.
Todd Herman This is old.
Todd Herman I've never spoken to my mother. Yeah, you're lying. That's as evident in the way you're speaking. By the way, he just today came out and said, yeah, I was wrong to support him. Funny the way that works.
Angie Nixon's Stance on Opponents and Her Campaign Platform
Second sound bites in today's Tower babbling. A Democrat, Socialist for America. In other words, a woman who is intent on destroying America. Angie Nixon wants her Republican opponents in jail.
Dr. Jessica Peck They are spreading, like, a lot of disinformation and lies on commercials about me, saying things like, I want to abide. Abolish prisons and I want to defund the police. Why would I want to do that when I want her locked up and punished in jail for what she has done? And so, you know, we are going to continue to stomp on this campaign trail all across the state, from the Panhandle to the Keys, and we're looking forward to them calling me Senator on November 3rd.
Todd Herman You want your Republican opponent locked up?
The Cornell Seven Incident and Distinguishing It from Human Trafficking
Dr. Jessica Peck You know, she.
Todd Herman Yeah, basically, yes. Well, thanks for being honest. Last sound bites in today's Tara babbling. Tara Palmeira, an activist describe or disguised as a journalist, went on the Young Turks to compare the Cornell seven, that is, the seven men, but not the woman, to a human trafficking situation.
Jenna Ellis Was too inebriated, to really consent, but at some point There was an agreement, ah, whether that is legal or not, with two men. but everything from there, you know, it's not like you can just let someone in your car and then they can beat you up and. Yeah, you see this a lot, though, with people who become involved in these sort of scenarios. I mean, a lot of people who are trafficked, they don't even see the people who are trafficking them as their abusers. They normalize it.
Todd Herman Yeah.
Todd Herman And usually the people who've been trafficked, do not go willingly. And I understand that woman was inebriated and so were the men. And it's a horrible circumstance and all of it's ungodly, but it was not human trafficking. And that's a wrap for today's tower babbling.
President Trump's Role in Securing Stephen Hubbard's Release from Russian Prison
Jeff Chamblee They're arresting people simply for the offense
Todd Herman of being in the country illegally. It's not right, but it's not necessarily something that should cause deportation. That was the Tower of Babylon on a disciples view. On a personal note today, just a quick. Just, Praise God. Ah, President Trump just posted this. Steven Hubbard, taken four years ago by Russia during the Biden administration, was just released from prison at the request of President Donald J. Trump. Hey, that's him. Made directly to platter President Vladimir Putin. Putin in a television conversation last week. Steven is on his way back home and will join soon be with his family. The United States, out of respect for President Trump, was not required to give anything in return. An unprecedented situation for Russia. There was no swap necessary for this release. This major return should have taken place long ago through the Biden administration, which got nowhere in its negotiations with the Kremlin. Steven is on his way back home. Welcome home, Steven. It's great to have you back, stated President Trump.
Gratitude for Stephen Hubbard's Return and God's Hand in the Deal
He is so humble. I'm glad he's coming home, and I'm glad that that deal got done. And praise God that he's coming home and that God has caused this to happen.
Personal Reflection on Past Bullying and Shameful Treatment of Teachers
You know, on the actual, actual personal note, today we don't script these little segments. we don't script the show. We have a little rundown of what's there and what sound bites to play. And there's these things called audio cues, and that's how Randy fires the audio where he's at in Tupelo. And, I read those out here. Other than that, it's completely live. And. And, the person note is unscripted. And today, I don't even know. I wanted to talk why we want to talk about this. I guess it's Just the nature of. We were talking about masculine men, and we're talking about North Idaho men and men with chests. And sometimes my heart breaks, when I think back to just some shameful ways, we boys treated some men who were not, particularly masculine. And some of them were broken. And it just. I feel so convicted and so awful. there was a teacher in high school who had been teaching for way too long. he was very mentally broken and just wanted to go home. And I'm sure he was just trying to make it through retirement. And I remember his name, and I'm not going to say it on the show. He taught literature, and he didn't really even teach it honestly. I want to be level and equal and descriptive. And we'd show up in his room, and he'd talk for a couple minutes, and then we'd read books, and he'd ask us to write some things about the books. And I don't think he even really read them. You know, one student one time wrote something that had nothing to do with a book, and he got a B.
A Teacher's Struggles and a Student's Regret for Past Cruelty
And one day he was doing a thing he'd done many, many times.
Todd Herman This.
Todd Herman This particular teacher, he would open up his cabinet door and kind of stand behind his cabinet door for a second or a minute or two. It's like he was getting out supplies or something. And being young and impetuous and arrogant and mean, and not discipled and certainly not walking in the spirit. I got up and pulled the door away and looked, and he was drinking booze and he was chugging it,
Jeff Chamblee and
Todd Herman the classroom erupted in laughter.
Todd Herman And
Todd Herman I said something stupid, such as, hey, why don't you get a beer bong or something? And he was just shamed. And I never took the time to go to that man and say, hey, are you okay?
The Devastating Impact of Personal Loss and the Importance of Empathy
Because you seem super sad to me. And, you know, I happened to notice, by the way, that you were drinking, and, man, I'm not here to judge you, but, man, are you okay? And maybe more appropriately, I never went to a teacher with whom I did have a good relationship, and to say, hey, man, I'm super worried about this teacher. Do you know anything that he lose someone in his family? And so it was at a high school reunion 20 years after that,
Todd Herman that I learned, yeah, he lost somebody.
Todd Herman Yeah.
Todd Herman Five years before that, he lost his three kids and his wife in a car accident he caused while drinking. And there I was clowning. And that man is trying to numb his emotions. And thank God for the holy Spirit.
The Role of Masculinity in Recognizing and Responding to Others' Pain
Because part of being a masculine man is observing pain of someone and finding a way to. To let God let you be used in that circumstance. To let God use you with someone he has put in your path. I owe that teacher an apology. In the beginning was the Word.
Closing Remarks: The Word, God's Love, and Making Disciples of All Nations
The Word was with God. The Word was God. Because we believe, we speak because he first loved us, we speak His Word and we walk in the path of Jesus Christ to make disciples of all nations. Until God grants us permission to speak any other. May his peace wash over you. On behalf of Randy and afr, I'm Todd Herman and this has been of Disciples view.
Dr. Jessica Peck The views and opinions expressed in this
