John chapter 11 talks about Jesus raising a lifeless man from the dead
All right, well, let's, turn our attention to the scripture. John chapter 11 is where we are, verses 43 and 44, talking about Jesus here. Now, when he had said these things, he cried with a loud voice, lazarus, come forth. And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with grave cloth, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, loose him and let him go. Jesus here performing, the miracle of miracles, if you will. And that is raising a lifeless man, raising him from the dead and bringing him back to life. He was in the grave for four days. Jesus comes to the scene and has the full authority and the full power given to him by God to raise a man from the dead and of course, from the dead. And of course, this is the ultimate foreshadowing of, Jesus raising himself from the dead and bringing us eternal life and bringing ultimate victory over death. That's what Jesus did here. And so, the miracle of miracles, Jesus being raised from the dead. And, God is a miracle working God. And this is evidence of that, along with a litany of other passages throughout Scripture. That's John, chapter 11, verses 43 and 44.
Some American family radio signals will be affected by this winter storm
Well, the winter, storm is, coming in quickly across the Southeast. And this one's, going to be very interesting to watch. At least one of the most, widespread winter storms across the Southeast that I've seen, in my adult years and really throughout my memory, and I was actually just, a little less than six months old when the winter storm of 1994 hit across the Southeast. And so I hear stories of that. Of course, I don't remember any of it. but nonetheless, there's people talking about their memories of that. I don't know what this is going to look like. some of the different weather models say different things, so we'll just have to wait and see. But it does appear to be very widespread. The swath of the southeast United States that it's going to affect. Going all the way from Texas, parts of Oklahoma, obviously Arkansas, going all the way, south Missouri, Tennessee, Mississippi, parts of Louisiana, all the way to the east coast through Sunday and Monday. And so, who knows, the degree of effects, but it's it's not hard to say that some of our American family radio signals will be affected by this, because where this storm is tracking is through the heart of our radio signals. We have a lot of Texas covered, we have a lot of Arkansas covered, a lot of Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, a lot of radio signals, South Carolina, North Carolina, that track along this signal. I would say at least 50 to 70% of our radio signals are in the path, of this storm, whether it be snow or ice or otherwise. And so, our signals will be affected to a certain degree by this storm. And so what we've been telling folks on social media and putting out on email is that the best thing to do to keep AFR going in your home and in your vehicle is download the AFR app. The AFR app and the AFR website are the most reliable ways to get American flight family radio. Because even if you lose your local FM radio signal because the tower and the antenna has ice on it, you can still get American family radio on your mobile device and, on your laptop, on your tablet, by downloading the AFR app or just going to your browser and typing in afr.net and so that's just, the, the surest way to get the American family radio signal. And it's very difficult. Obviously, the icing of the radio towers is very much outside of our control, nearly impossible to prevent. And of course, we're here in North Mississippi and we've got these stations all around the country, so we just can't fix that in the short term. It really just has to thaw out. And so, the best thing to do is download the AFR app and go to afr.net so spread the word with your family and friends, all those loyal AFR listeners out there. That's the best thing to do over the next few days.
Department of Justice makes formal arrest in Minneapolis for mob that stormed church
All right, let's turn our attention to the news. Pam Bondi has, has, met expectations and actually made formal arrest in Minneapolis for the, mob that stormed the church there. In Minneapolis. The Department of Justice has made at least three arrests as of the time of this, airing and the time of this recording. the reports are that there were actually over nine, eight to nine individuals that the Department of Justice attempted to charge and arrest and get a warrant for. And some of those were turned down by the federal magistrate judge, which is very interesting, very rarely happens. And so more is going to come out about that, who that judge is, who appointed that judge, and, things like that. So we'll keep tracking that. But nonetheless, the Department of Justice has made at least some arrest, especially the folks who led that effort to disrupt and block and impede on the church service in Minneapolis just earlier this week. And so these type efforts must continue. And that's the only way to ensure that the anarchists don't win and aren't able to continue these efforts. And so we appreciate the Attorney General Pam Bondi and the FBI and the Department of Justice for following through on this. I think they need to continue pressing hard for more arrest warrants, and include up, up and to include Don Lemon. Because when you look at the evidence, Don Lemon was right up in the, on the mix and there's actually reports now that Don Lemon that the DOJ actually attempted to, to charge and get a warrant for Don Lemon and it was turned down by the federal judge. That was just early reports just recently. So some of that will get firmed up, some of the details on that by early next week that will hopefully we'll bring you. But Pam, Bondi's under a lot of pressure to show some results on cutting down and eliminating this lawlessness that we see across the country.
Media pushed narrative that ICE had apprehended a five year old during operations
Speaking of lawlessness, the Department of Homeland Security continues to arrest and deport illegal immigrants, especially those with criminal backgrounds. And the media ran this, this complete and utter lie that Immigration and Customs Enforcement had arrested and apprehended a five year old. A five year old? Who, who believes that? Nobody believes that. But the media pushed this narrative that, that Immigration and Customs Enforcement had apprehended a five year old during their operations. And so the Vice President, Vice President Vance actually addresses this hoax and answers the question, did federal law enforcement officials apprehend a five year old? This is clip three. Let's listen. A local school district here is alleging ICE agents detaining a five year old after preschool on Tuesday. We've also seen multiple American citizens detained last fight in the last six weeks. Are you proud of how your administration is conducting this immigration crackdown here in Minnesota right now?
>> JD Vance: Well, I'm proud of the fact that we're standing behind law enforcement and I'm proud of the fact that we're enforcing the country's laws. But you know, you asked a question about this five year old kid. I actually saw this terrible story while I was coming to Minneapolis. We just left Toledo, Ohio this morning for the, an economic messaging event. And I see this story and I'm a father of a five year old, actually a five year old little boy. And I think to myself, oh my God, this is terrible. How did we arrest a five year old? Well, I do a little bit more follow up research and what I find is that the five year old was not arrested, that his dad was an illegal alien. And then they went, when they went to arrest his illegal alien father, the father ran. So the story is that ICE detained a five year old. Well, what are they supposed to do? Are they supposed to let a five year old child freeze to death? Are they not supposed to arrest an illegal alien in the United States of America? If the argument is that you can't arrest people who have violated laws because they have children, then every single parent is going to be completely given immunity from ever being the subject of law enforcement. That doesn't make any sense. No one thinks that makes any sense. Now you, you know, there are so many of these cases like that where if you just understand the context, there have been a number of situations that I've looked into personally where I say, wait a second, we don't want ICE arresting, American citizens. They're supposed to be enforcing the immigration laws against illegal aliens. So then I look into it and I find out that the American citizen who was arrested took a swing at an ICE officer. You can't have that happen. And of course they have to defend themselves and of course they have the right to detain somebody who assaults a law enforcement officer. Now this is my point. Do we want these things to happen? Do we want these arrests to be so chaotic? No, we don't. These guys want it least of all. But if we had a little cooperation from local and federal, excuse me, from local and state officials, I think the chaos would go way down in this community.
>> Walker Wildmon: Well, there you have it. the vice president obviously is bringing a lot of facts from forth that aren't originally presented in the story. And I want to turn the attention on the illegal immigrant father who is being pursued by Immigration and Customs Enforcement. All right, so number one, what kind of dad leaves the five year old in the near zero degree temperatures, in the life threatening cold temperatures to flee law enforcement? I think there's actually a legal term for this and it's called abandonment. All right, and so why are we not pointing the finger at the thug who's in the country illegally that is so self interested that he abandons his five year old for the sake of fleeing federal law enforcement? So now we have a five year old little boy who's going into the system, who's going into the most likely the foster system, assuming they don't have immediate relatives nearby. To me, this is the heartless thing about it and this shows why we don't want these people in our country. They use the children as weapons, shields as ploys to cover up their criminality. And so this is a tragedy. No five year old should be left alone in the cold. And the federal law enforcement officials are heroes. They're just doing what they're supposed to do, getting the five year old out of the freezing temperatures. And if immigration doesn't take the child in and provide him safety, then they're accused of leaving a five year old in the streets. So you can't win for losing here. But this is the way the media works and this is the way the left works. They don't want to fix any problems. They just want to blame everybody else for what's going on in our country. That's the truth about the five year old. Apprehension with ice. We're living in a time when truth is under attack. Lies are easy to tell, easy to spread and easy to believe. Well, throughout the week and really if you've been listening to AFR for the years, for several years, you've heard us talk about preborn throughout the year and especially In January during Pro Life month is when we particularly highlighted. But PreBorn has been doing phenomenal work over the years saving countless thousands of babies lives and ultimately helping to save the life of the mother too. And so that's what we're going to talk about now. We have Dan Steiner, founder president of PreBorn Ministries with us. hey Dan, welcome back to the program.
>> Dan Steiner: My joy to be here Walker. Thanks.
>> Walker Wildmon: Absolutely.
Preborn was started 20 years ago to help stop abortion
Well Dan, give us for those who are maybe new to AFR or new to preborn, give our folks a little history lesson, a little background around how preborn was started.
>> Dan Steiner: Yeah, thank you so much. Well, actually this came from ah, a time of prayer many many years ago, over 30 years ago. Get up between 4:30 and 6:30, seek the Lord and just thanking him one morning for what he's done for me, you know, and suffering and dying, which I deserve, not him. And I said love, what can I do to be a blessing to you Lord? And he in a very special way showed me his broken heart over all of these babies. He sees every abortion in detail. It breaks his heart. It says in Psalm 139 that all the days are put out for them and planned by God before there's yet one of them and yet they're cut off. And that breaks his heart. And I said what can I do to remediate that? And that set me out on a path of what actually stops abortion. Certainly we've got legislation that's a good thing and protests without violence, which is a good thing. But they don't really save a lot of babies. Good. examples of fall of Roe versus Wade. We had 80,000 more abortions that year after it was taken down and continued to go up because of chemical abortion. But compassion to women with practical help and the gospel makes a huge difference. And so that's what we started to do and started preborn now 20 years ago. This is our 20th anniversary, Dan.
Preborn is a partnership ministry that helps provide M ultrasound machines to abortion clinics
>> Walker Wildmon: for those who don't know how Preborn works, tell us about the partnership, how PreBorn is primarily a partnership ministry that helps provide these otherwise very expensive M ultrasound machines for pro life clinics all around the country. Talk about just how you guys are structured, how you go in and partner with the local pregnancy clinics and how this works on a day to day basis.
>> Dan Steiner: Yeah, so we do three things. We save babies, lead women to Christ and do financial integrity. The financial integrity. The way that we do that is that we provide them with the equipment and the competency they need to save babies. While we do open some centers, we opened two in NewSong York City this past year and in other places. our primary goal is to raise all the boats to leverage the influence of good leadership and good equipment to pregnancy clinics. And so the faithful listeners. Over the years, now 10 years, Walker of AFR partnering with, PreBorn, has seen literally tens of thousands of ultrasounds underwritten, hundreds of ultrasound machines underwritten. They're a $15,000 investment. They last for 10 years. It's a fantastic investment, and, we've made a tremendous impact together. additionally, PreBorn has a huge program that finds women online while they're searching for abortions and abortion pills and has them talk to our nurses on our, phone lines and then makes appointments for them to see their babies on ultrasound in our 268 clinics across the United States.
>> Walker Wildmon: M. Fascinating. Dan, the impact of the ultrasound is, easy to not fully grasp unless you've experienced it, but personally, and of course, anybody who has, any dads out there or moms obviously who've had a baby, the vast majority of them have at some point during their pregnancy, at least over the last 20 to 30 years, have experienced an ultrasound. They're obviously more widely available today than maybe they used to be. but talk about this impact here because the statistics are overwhelming. If we can just get the mother to see their baby on the ultrasound, the likelihood of them choosing life goes up drastically. Isn't that correct?
>> Dan Steiner: It is a fact, and that's exactly what we intend to do. She's being pressured to abort. She's being lied to about the humanity of her baby. But if she sees that baby, an ultrasound, the first baby, picture of the best kind floating inside of her very own uterus, then it doubles the likelihood that she'll choose life. In some cases, over 90% will choose life. And so that's what the listeners of AFR have been underwriting for years. Last year, over 81,900 women. 81,900 women chose life in our premium, partner care clinics across the United states. And over 10,000 of them, Walker, gave their lives to Jesus Christ. So we're evangelizing them, leading them to Christ in the process. And ultrasound makes a huge difference. probably the best way I could tell you that is through a quick story. We a girl. I say girl because she's 13. She's pregnant. Think about that for a minute. Came into our clinic. She's very abortion minded, very abortion minded. And, we tried to talk her out of it, she wouldn't move. She said, I'm just a kid, I can't do this. My mother doesn't even know I'm sexually active, let alone pregnant. And so we started talking to her. And during the course of that time, she asked two questions that nobody has ever asked from a 13 year old. She said, so will my baby, will my baby feel pain? This 13 year old asking this, that's good that she's asking the question, right? And we said, yeah, it's an abortion. Of course you'll feel pain. You know, you say you're 17 weeks. and then she thought about that for a few minutes and asked, so can you give my baby anesthesia with the abortion? No. No anesthesia. And so she thought about that for a while, but still would not choose life. So we took her back to the ultrasound room after the counseling and there on the screen was not a 17 week, but a 20 week gestational age baby hanging in the balance of a 13 year old girl's decision. The life of this baby. But I'm happy to report that that ultrasound scan, underwritten by an AFR listener, when she saw it, she nearly fell off the table. She goes, oh my goodness, that's a beautiful baby. Her baby. And she resoundingly chose life. Began talking to her, her baby on the screen like a mother would do. We helped her make an adoption plan afterwards. That's what we're doing together this afternoon.
>> Walker Wildmon: Wow. Absolutely amazing.
Dan Steiner: Preborn provides ultrasound machines to abortion clinics across America
Dan, this is speaking to the choir here because anyone who's listening to AFR for some time has heard this multiple times, but at least they've heard about preborn. This winter storm is affecting much of the southeast

Meaning one foot, two foot, three foot of snow, single digit temperatures, no problem. they're out. If it's, if it's 20 degrees up in North Dakota, they're out playing basketball and baseball. So, in their light sweatshirts. And so I know us Southerners, Bobby, you're from originally, NewSong England, but Virginia. Spent some time in Virginia. Bobby, but you're here now, right? So you hang out with the Southerners now?
>> Bobby Roza: It's cold, bro.
>> Walker Wildmon: Yeah, it's cold. It's gonna be cold. And yeah, this is gonna be cold. But we're not, we're not outfitted for this. So I want, I want the northerners to just give us a break, okay? Because we're not, we're not outfitted for this.
>> Bobby Roza: I think it's envy.
>> Walker Wildmon: Yeah, maybe so.
>> Walker Wildmon: I think it's envy.
>> Walker Wildmon: We've got 4 inch walls, they've got 6 to 8 inch walls.
>> Bobby Roza: I made it through in my teenage years. This the great blizzard of 76, the Northeast, North, Northeast nor' easter as they call it in 78. you know you have snow when the National Guard has front end loaders digging out.
>> Walker Wildmon: Oh yeah.
>> Bobby Roza: In front of the restaurant that you work at. And you're still there working.
>> Walker Wildmon: Yes.
>> Walker Wildmon: Yeah, that's how you know you're used to it. That's how you know you used to. If you can get here, let's go.
>> Bobby Roza: That's it.
>> Walker Wildmon: yeah, the south is just not, we're just not set up for this and we don't. It's not worth the money to, to have the equipment for this at scale because this doesn't happen often.
>> Bobby Roza: That's right.
>> Walker Wildmon: I mean what's coming in this weekend is like a once in a 30 to 50 year proposition. so it's not worth us investing in all the equipment. but, but to your point up north, I mean they've got, you know, these municipalities have dozens or even hundreds of plow trucks, salt trucks, and they.
>> Walker Wildmon: Contract, you know, everyday people. Yeah, you've got a, a tundra, you know, throw some sand in the back, throw a plow on the front and you're golden.
>> Walker Wildmon: Yeah, exactly. So this is going to be interesting to watch. Very interesting to watch, to see how it affects the Southeast, what the recovery looks like. And So the freezing rain is the big issue. Freezing rain is the big issue. The snow is an inconvenience. Takes a couple days to get past, get the roads clear. but just freezing rain is just a whole other animal, from, from what I'm reading. So we'll let you know what the latest is ongoing with afr. >> Chris Woodward: Yes, yes, we do have a plan. we've actually been planning on this for days now. we do, Lord willing, plan to update, newscast at the top of every hour. Monday onward, Rusty, Pugh, myself, Robert Thornton will be kind of tag teaming that, and then some other folks. we may be doing things remotely, but we will, be keeping folks updated somehow, some way, on radio and Web.
>> Walker Wildmon: Excellent, excellent. Well, Chris, a lot to cover, this week.
President Trump says acquiring Greenland is for national security purposes
let's start with the Greenland topic.
>> Chris Woodward: Yes.
>> Walker Wildmon: because you sent that around as a possible topic to discuss. President Trump started with this grand plan of buying Greenland and then ended up with a deal that's still being worked out on the details, but a preliminary deal with NATO and with Denmark to secure military access to Greenland. tell us a little bit about that.
>> Chris Woodward: Yeah, a lot of people have been saying. This brings us back to the art of the deal, which is a Trump phrase. He wrote a book by that name. And I say it's the art of the deal because if you go back several days, maybe a few weeks, President Trump has been on record as saying he might use the military or consider using the military to take Greenland. And he said things like, it will be ours, we'll have Greenland. he also at one point was on record as saying, well, maybe I'll put tariffs on European countries and others that don't want us to acquire or take Greenland. He, since backed away from those things, and said, a few hours after making the threats at the Davos Summit, that he had agreed to what he's called a framework on the deal involving Greenland. So it looks like we may acquire something in the way of Greenland, whether or not it becomes the 51st state or US territory, much like Puerto Rico, something along those lines. He's going to get what he wants. And the reason President Trump says we need something like Greenland is for national security purposes. There's also a lot of rare earth minerals up there which we need for things, to defeat China in that game. But the big concern has been Russia and possibly even Chinese, military presence, in the Arctic and acquiring Greenland somehow, some way, will help bring some peace to that region and also probably calm some nerves of our European allies in NATO, which was created, as we all know, to make sure the Soviets didn't spread.
>> Walker Wildmon: Yeah. I've watched, clips and read perspectives of people who think this is a terrible idea or unnecessary, rather. And then those that think it's brilliant, the ones that think it's not necessary, one thing they fail to address is, ah, ballistic missile deterrence or ICBM deterrence. you know, how far is Greenland away from mineral, from abundant mineral, mining? There's some mining already going on there, not very much. I think there's two or three mining sites. but there's not expansive mining access currently. It would take a lot of money, billions, to get it to a place where you can export a substantial amount of rare earth minerals. Although they are there, they're just very deep, hard to get to. but I think what this is all about, honestly, Chris, it's not about rare earth minerals. I don't even think it's about the shipping lanes in the Arctic. I think this is about the golden dome strategy, which, by the way, has already been funded by Congress through the one big beautiful bill. the primary ICBM path to the US from Russia, is over Greenland. And if you want to intercept missiles before they get to the mainland or get closer to the mainland, then Greenland's where it's at. Right. now what it would take to actually deploy a ICBM interceptor system in Greenland is pretty substantial. We're talking a lot of time and money, but that's the place where all the experts say, hey, this is what we need to deter Russia, from shooting missiles over to the States. and so if that's the plan here, then I don't know who could be against that plan.
>> Chris Woodward: Right. And, you know, there has been a lot of criticism from news outlets and, the political candidates that they helped put in office and continue to support on air. A lot of people have, said, well, this is silly. Trump's just trying to, ah, acquire land and he's a dictator, completely ignoring the past efforts by different administrations, including the Truman administration, to acquire Greenland. People forget that the, Truman administration wanted Greenland for its own reasons. actually, if you go back as far as, like, 1867, U.S. administrations have tried to get Greenland for whatever reason. Fortune magazine had an article about that. I think the headline is something like three times we've tried to get Greenland in the past. So for anybody on msnow, or whatever I'm supposed to call it, or CNN to say, this is a terrible thing. I can't believe he did this. It's terrible. It's not the first time that a president wanted Greenland for some reason.
>> Walker Wildmon: Correct, Correct. yeah, I agree completely. I, think. I think if President Trump is able to secure a deal where we get substantial military access and territory enough to build an anti ballistic missile defense system there, I think that's a huge win. It's a huge win. And all along, look, this is what. I don't know how long it's gonna take, I guess never for people to understand how President Trump works. We all, not we all. Some people act, they still act shocked at President Trump's approach to negotiating. Right. He's been doing this from a presidential standpoint since 2015, 2016. He's been doing this as a businessman for 40 years plus. Really? 50. 40 to 50. and so to act shocked that President Trump's first negotiating tactic is to say, we want the whole thing. We want all of Greenland. And when I asked, how are you going to get it? He says, all options are on the table. This is Donald Trump 101. This is what he does. Then he ends up at a place that's far more reasonable and palatable, and that is simply striking a security deal with, with Denmark, where we get certain access in certain territories given over to us.
>> Chris Woodward: Yes. Yeah. I mean, this is something he's done in, like, real estate, where, you know, let's say you want some kind of, building in NewSong York or wherever, and you go to the person and you say, okay, I want your property for 40 billion. And they're like, that's crazy.
>> Walker Wildmon: Right?
>> Chris Woodward: And, well, fine, I'll walk out of here. And then he lets time go by. Nobody's interested in this company. Maybe now they're in the water because they made some bad hiring decisions or bought something they shouldn't have. And he comes in and goes, okay, I'll give you a billion. I mean, like, and then he saved $39 billion.
>> Walker Wildmon: Yeah.
>> Chris Woodward: And people are like, what a genius. I mean, that's. That's basically.
>> Walker Wildmon: Think he's crazy.
>> Chris Woodward: Yes.
>> Walker Wildmon: Yeah. And so maybe one day we'll all figure out that President Trump's opening offer is always the craziest. Yes.
>> Chris Woodward: You know, I. I'm not like a war hawk, but I sleep better at night knowing we've got something to protect us from, I don't know, nuclear missile attacks versus the Kamala Harris lay down your arms approach that we might be living in right now. Because clearly that diplomacy and amusing air quotes does not work with Russia or some other bad actor.
>> Walker Wildmon: Yeah, I completely agree. and apparently I. I didn't. I didn't think this would be the case, but apparently the Arctic is becoming more important for our security because it's really this wild. It's not Wild West. It's.
President Trump is looking to expand military bases in the Arctic
I guess it's this wild north or south, depending on which direction you're going. but it's like a no man's land, right? I mean, we got some, like, science stations up there, some military presence up there, but not a lot. Now, we do have these brand new icebreakers that the Coast Guard put out through President Trump's funding, actually. but it's a pretty interesting dynamic looking at kind of this ploy to see who dominates the Arctic. because China wants to be there, Russia wants to be there, and it's very hard to get to. And there's some strategic shipping lanes up there. So, anyway, it's all very interesting to track. but so far, President Trump has a preliminary agreement with Denmark to secure, military bases in, Greenland, to hopefully expand the Golden Dome or build the Golden Dome.
People who disrupted Minneapolis church service face possible federal charges
Chris, let's talk about the, Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota Department of Justice. Up to three arrests. Yes, I believe.
>> Chris Woodward: And more to come. Ah. Presumably because there was more than three people that disrupted that church service we all seen play out two, dozen times now on X or YouTube or wherever it is. this is beyond just a Minneapolis St. Paul story. I've heard many people on AFR and even in private conversations I've had with people here in town in Tupelo, that have talked about church security efforts. What are we going to do? If this kind of thing happens, and it will happen somewhere else, it may not be in that same neighborhood. but someone somewhere is going to be inspired by the heroism of the people that disrupted the church service, who, by the way, now face charges, possibly even federal charges. Things like the FACE act, which does, protect people in houses of worship, not just in abortion clinics. Thank you, Warren Hatch, for that. so there are, you know, there will be ramifications for people that do this, I'm sure in some places, like I'm just hypothetically naming a place, like, let's say this happens in San Francisco or Chicago, probably some sort of cashless bail situation where they slap you on the wrist and say, don't do that again, and then these people are back up to no good. But at least, the federal government is showing some muscle here and it's not just talking tough on Fox News. They're actually backing it up, with law enforcement.
>> Walker Wildmon: Yeah, absolutely. and so this is good to see. I think, I think Attorney General Bondi, she's been on a very, ah, kind of a tightrope that she's been walking. And there hasn't been a lot of, of public transformation at the doj. There's been, I understand there's some things they're doing behind the scenes, but people want to publicly see results. We want to publicly see results, including criminals arrested, that do things like storm churches and interrupt church services. And this Face Act, I've been a fan of rescinding it, of repealing it, and I still think they should, but if they're going to leave it on the books, they need to use it. And but maybe this will force the Democrats to say, hey, we should repeal the FACE act, because then we can say, yes, we agree with you, let's repeal the FACE act and we can take it off the books so that pro lifers aren't targeted with it again for simple trespass charges at best. so it's an interesting dynamic though, Chris, to see something like the Face act, which was used against us just two years ago, being used against the left.
>> Chris Woodward: To give you an idea of how often it's used against, pro life people wrongly, rightly, what have you. Because it's used wrongly against a number of pro lifers, I would say. but, it's so commonly used in the pro life realm that people, I think, didn't even realize it protected, people in houses of worship, not just churches, but all kinds of houses of worship. and, I know last year I was interviewing a law firm, I don't remember which one, but they were going to court for someone out in California where people had disrupted church services, and even a church car wash fundraiser and stuff like that, because they didn't like what the church was preaching. and they told me at the time, we're, considering bringing charges of the FACE Act. And even I was like, what? I didn't even know that was possible. So I've learned a lot about the Face act just in the last six, months or so. but you're right, it does protect people in houses of worship. What is interesting, and, we talked to Jenna Ellis about this a couple of days ago on, Today's Issues. Jenna was talking about how we need to be careful and consider some other charges beyond just the FACE act, because, groups have called for the Face act to be done away with to stop Democrats like the Biden administration from, from hauling, you know, people like Mark Hauck out of the breakfast table. Yeah, like they did.
>> Walker Wildmon: Yeah, absolutely. Chris.
>> Dan Steiner: Vice.
>> Walker Wildmon: President Vance landed in Minneapolis, did a couple of things, talked about the economy, also stood in support of federal law enforcement. but he's blaming the far left. And he's right. They've agitated these instances.
>> Chris Woodward: Yes. pretty much all the issues today with the Democratic Party, the really bad ones that we talk about on this show and other programs on American Family Radio are things that the far left got started, or inspired people, maybe on the fence about some issues. and it goes to show you how a small group, a growing number, but still a small group of the Democratic Party, they're really controlling everything now. It's been that way since, probably 2016, or so, because there were a lot of people that supported Bernie Sanders, who's not even a Democrat, in his bid to become the Democrat nominee back in 2016. And after, the Democratic Party took his basically campaign chances from him and gave them to Hillary and her superdelegates, the party then moves further to the left to try to get those people in time for Bernie to run again in 2020. And then when they realized, hey, we can't have a socialist running the party and being the president, they stole it from him and gave it to Joe Biden, who may or may not have gone on to win the presidential election in 2020. And now that's what. That's how, like, AOC and other people became the face of the Democratic Party. And you've got the squad calling the shots now versus people, that might have a conversation with you about issues. now you just, you're standing there arguing with a shut door. If you want to have any kind of debate.
>> Walker Wildmon: Yeah, this, this, Chris, these interactions, these quote, conflicts, with immigration enforcement is, is fully brought to you by the Democrat Party. This is what they want. you can protest and say, I don't like Trump, but to go impede on investigations and operations and basically engaging criminal activity, is clearly non effective.
>> Chris Woodward: Yes.
>> Walker Wildmon: so all of this, all of this hoopla about Immigration and Customs Enforcement is really brought to you by the Democrat Party?
>> Chris Woodward: It is. I think law enforcement will probably be the issue in the midterms because the economy is going to be humming.
