Acts chapter two deals with baptism at Pentecost
Well, let's turn our attention to The scripture and then we'll jump into some of The content for today's show. Acts, chapter two is where we are this week, looking about halfway down or more. In Acts, chapter 2, verse 38, Peter here is speaking, preaching to The apostles. This is, at Pentecost, where The Holy Spirit comes down on The believers on The early church. Verse 38, Peter said to them, repent and let every one of you be baptized in The name of Jesus Christ for The remission of sins, and you shall receive The gift of The Holy Spirit for this promise. For The promise is to you and your children and to all who are afar. Who all are afar off, as many as The Lord our God will call. So Peter here is appealing to The apostles and others, on this day of Pentecost, that all are to repent and let every one of you be baptized in The name of Jesus Christ for The remission of sins, so that you may receive The gift of The Holy Spirit. This is one, of course, of many places where The doctrine of water baptism comes from. Obviously, water baptism doesn't save anyone. it's simply an act of obedience after salvation, happens. But also here we see The Holy Spirit being delivered to everyone who believes as The Scriptures foretold, as Jesus himself foretold. So a lot going on in here. Acts, chapter two. That's, just verses 38 and 39. I love how you can take one or two verses and do a whole sermon on it. It's amazing how much richness is in The Scripture.

Well, there's a lot we could talk about. We had another attempted assassination on President Trump
Well, there's a lot we could talk about. I was out last week traveling. I actually took a school group to Washington, D.C. to tour our nation's capital. And we had a great time of fellowship. And then I went to The America Reads The Bible event on Friday. I read a couple chapters of Scripture in The Old Testament there, about, that was The event where we read through The entirety of Scripture. Nearly 500 leaders and individuals from across The country, including The President, President read from The Scriptures throughout The entire week last week at The Museum of The Bible. So that was a very special event. And, ah, what better way to commemorate America's 250th anniversary than to read The Holy Scriptures, which is The book, not The of many, but it is capital T H E, The book that inspired The founding of this country and motivated our founding fathers, The Holy Bible. And our founding fathers used The precepts in Scripture, to help set up this, constitutional republic in which we still preside under today. And so God's word is holy and perfect and flawless. And, it was just a blessing to read The truth of God's word in its entirety, The whole counsel of God, for 12 hours a day, for six or seven days consecutively, in our nation's capital. So may The Lord use that, to draw people to himself and convict people that we need God in our lives, not just in our lives. We need God in our culture, in our country, and in our government as well. So that was good to be a part of that. And thank you for all of you who tuned in, listened and kept up with that program. Well, there's a lot of news we could talk about. We had another, a third attempted assassination on President Trump just over The weekend at The White House Correspondents association dinner at The Washington Hilton. We've got The Iran conflict still ongoing. we'll talk some about that if we have time. And then we've got this Southern Poverty Law center indictment. This is fascinating and has been, a year in The making with The FBI and The DOJ investigating The SPLC for months now, it appears, and they, actually secured a grand jury indictment. So we'll talk about that, towards The end of The program.
There were three attempted assassinations on President Trump over the past few years
But let's start out with this attempted assassination of President Trump. It just seems like every few months we're having one of these. Not quite. But over The past few years, there's been three, attempted assassinations on President Trump. This happened at The Washington Hilton. I've actually been in that ballroom. It seats about 2,600 or 2700 people, depending on The setup. It's a massive ballroom, one of The largest in Washington, D.C. and there were several thousand, close to 3,000 people present at this White House correspondence dinner. And I don't want to get too in The weeds. And I'm also not going to throw The Secret Service completely under The bus here because at The end of The day they stopped The The attempted assassination. They stopped him. No fatalities. One Secret Service agent was shot in The vest, in his ballistic vest and thankfully his vest worked and he was unharmed, virtually unharmed. Didn't even have to go to The hospital, but they made him because a standard protocol. So The Secret Service did what they needed to do. They protected The President, they got him out, they got The Cabinet out, and no one was injured. But this attempt does raise The question about The number of cabinet members and White House officials that were all in that room together. That seems to be The glaring part about this whole incident is how many members that are in The presidential line of secession that were also present in The room at The Washington Hilton. It's just quite astonishing that that many cabinet members were allowed and The speaker of The House in The same room at The same time at The same event at that venue. It's just quite mind boggling. And I'm sure this is going to be looked at by The Secret Service moving forward. But let's play a couple clips here. This is, I said I'm not going to throw The Secret Service under The bus. There are some criticisms here. And look, The Secret Service has a very tough job and they're actually being defunded right now by The Democrats. So they're doing a pretty good job. But this is a different time and a different age. So they're going to have to change their tactics. And that's what this clip is getting at. Let's listen to clip one.
>> Speaker : Even though The Secret Service did a great job at evacuating The President and getting him back to The White House, it should never have gotten to that point. I've said this many times on these shows. The leadership and management of The Secret Service has completely misread The assignment. From The very first day that Trump walked down The beautiful golden escalators to The time he got elected, to The time he was out of office former president, to now where he is president again. The threat level against The President has grown exponentially. Yet The Secret Service as an agency has refused to accept this and modify The way they do things to account for this ridiculously high threat level to The point where they took The President of The United States into an open hotel, The largest ballroom in D.C. where 90% of The invited guests, by The way, are members of The subversive media who spend their entire day pushing people towards violent rhetoric and violent extremist activity against not just The President, but The administration officials who are in that room and towards anti law enforcement and anti American sentiments to begin with. The Secret Service should never have brought The President into that building to begin with if they couldn't secure The building. Regardless, regardless of how far out that perimeter was extended. The public was already inside The perimeter. How many thousands of people were checked into that hotel doing who knows what in those hotel rooms. This guy could have been assembling a nuclear device and The Secret Service wouldn't have been aware of it. This was a disaster in The makings. And yes, The phase where they had to get The President out of there and secure everything in that ballroom, that was done The way The Secret Service should do things. Much different story on The other side of those ballroom doors.
>> Walker Wildmon: Yeah. So The point here, and there's a lot we can talk about, we'll pick this up in The next segment. The point here is that number one, well, let's focus on The on The on The on The location. Then we'll talk about The line of secession. Next segment, this hotel. The only parts that were secured were The ballroom in The immediate vicinity. All right, so you've got a thousand room hotel that was completely unsecured. That's The glaring vulnerability here. And then you tack that on with The number of dignitaries that were present. Those two things are a recipe for disaster. And what's, what's astonishing and what should cause The Secret Service to wake, to open their eyes and go, all right guys, back to The drawing board, back to The drawing board. What should make them do that is The fact that these incidents, were not worse. And they were not worse because there was only one actor. All right, as far as we're aware, so The Butler, Pennsylvania, The Palm beach golf course incident, and then this. Those three, as far as we're aware of, were, were lone gunmen. They were lone actors. All right, Obviously they were fueled by propaganda, but they were lone actors. And so The Secret Service was able to take care of it. All right, but, but The problem is, is what if it wasn't a lone gunman? What if The attacker over The weekend, what if it wasn't just one of him going through, breaching The security line? And this is a fundamental problem, is that it appears that The Secret Service isn't prepared for worst case scenario. And Dan Bongino FORMER Secret Service special agent and, obviously former deputy FBI director, he said over The weekend as well. He called it luck. I don't believe in luck, but for The lack of a better word, The Secret Service has to get, quote, unquote, lucky every time, every time. And all an attempted assassin has to get lucky is once. And so we can't keep expecting that these rudimentary standard protocol procedures are just going to keep working. There has to be more done to protect The president. We'll talk more about it after The break.
Preborn network clinics offer free ultrasounds to women facing unplanned pregnancies
Right now, The voices in our culture are loud, but truth is often silent. And today, preborns need you to help speak that truth. Walker: Attempted assassination of President Trump raises questions about security
Welcome back to The Core here on American Family Radio. Glad to have you back with us. And, The events you just heard about from my dad, Tim Wildmon. The tours we're doing are of Washington, Williamsburg and Boston. Three separate trips coming up in September. You can go over to tours, afa.net and on The activate Summit this summer that I mentioned, I actually didn't give out The URL, so that URL is just afa.net forward/events afa.net events if you want to join us for The Activate Summit this summer, also on that events page, afa.net events you're going to see The Ark Encounter and The Creation Museum that we're going to be doing in October of this year. So both of those events there are there [email protected] events. Well back to this attempted assassination of President Trump. The perpetrator, was actually, indicted, today on multiple counts. One of them is an attempted assassination of The President of The United States, which will carry with it potentially The death penalty. we'll just have to track that. But back to The vulnerabilities here once again, I don't want a completely Monday morning quarterback. The Secret Service, there's a lot of criticisms out there, some of it fair, some of it not fair. The point here is The actual agents doing The protection have been doing a phenomenal job. not going back to Butler. That was a completely m. Completely dropped The ball. Butler. That should have never happened. but last night. Or not last night, over The weekend when this happened, at The White House correspondents Dinner, The Secret Service did what they were trained to do. They tackled The perpetrator, they tried to shoot him but didn't succeed. So they tackled The perpetrator and arrested him and secured The President, got him out of The venue very quickly. So it worked. The protocols worked on what to do in The event of such, attack. But what I'm rather talking about today is at a much higher level of planning and that is how do we treat security for events with such, significance when it comes to national security. And events such as The inauguration or The State of The Union, these are designated by The Secret Service as national special security events. And that just. That's The highest you can get when it comes to The level of protection. When you look at. And The White House correspondents Dinner was not designated such. But when you look at The people in The room, that is President, vice President, speaker of The House, there's your first three in The line of secession. Then you look at The cabinet members that were present. I'm not sure why this wouldn't qualify as a national special security event. Maybe because there was a designated survivor, maybe because some of The other members in The line of secession weren't present. But this was a major event when it comes to The level of people in The room on The The venue.
The White House needs a ballroom that's secure on the White House grounds
That's what I wanted to talk about next. So we have The fact that, that The President, The vice President, The Speaker of The House and The majority of The cabinet were all permitted to go to this event together in one room. And you have The The venue with a thousand guest rooms unsecured. that's a major vulnerability. Now if you if it weren't that so many dignitaries were present, if so many dignitaries weren't present, then having a correspondence dinner at The Hilton is normal. It's fine, for example, if you just have The President attending or you just have The Vice president or a few cabinet members are present, but not 70%, things like that. So my point is that having an event with someone like The President or The Vice President at a hotel with unsecured portions of The building, that's very typical. I've been at multiple events where The President speaks or The Vice President speaks, and The only thing secured is that immediate perimeter, that immediate ballroom, and The rest of The hotel or The complex is completely unsecured. That's not unusual if there's only one or two dignitaries present present. But The fact that you had The number of dignitaries present really raises questions, about The venue location. And once again, this points back to The need, and we'll talk about this a little bit, for The ballroom that President Trump is attempting to construct as we speak now, I will note, The ballroom, according to The current reports on it, would not hold The number of people that were at this event. There were roughly 26, 2700, closer to maybe 3000 people present at this correspondence dinner, The ballroom, according to. Once again, these are media reports, The ballroom reportedly is only going to hold about 1,000 people for a dinner like this. So I'm not suggesting that if we had The White House ballroom, they could have this dinner there and this would have never happened. But it does further bolster The opinion and The fact that The President needs a, ballroom that's secure on The White House grounds where they can hold similar type events, whether it's hosting foreign dignitaries, you know, whatever it is, balls, during The inauguration, things like that. The White House ballroom as being constructed by President Trump is an absolute no brainer. And when you actually talk to people who are in The know and have been around The administration and multiple presidents, whether it's Secret Service, everyone, they all say, we need The ballroom. This is The ballroom. Construction on The White House grounds is a non controversial idea. It's, it's a no brainer. The military wants it, The Secret Service wants it, The White House staff wants it, everybody wants it. And The Democrats are trying to litigate it and make it scandalous and it's just not. Whether it were President Biden building it, President Obama or President Trump really doesn't matter. The ballroom on The White House grounds is completely necessary. And in The past they've been having These state dinners in tents on The South Lawn. Are you kidding me? We're The United States of America and we're renting tents to host state dinners on The South Lawn of The White House. That's, that's a joke. And it's so insecure. And so President Trump is fixing that through The construction of The ballroom. And of course there's going to be a military bunker underneath, which also makes complete sense when you look at The outdated nature of The whether it be The Situation Room or The old White House bunker, all of it was due for major, major upgrades in this environment. But we're living in a threat environment. As that, special Secret, Service special agent noted in The last clip I played. His name was Richard Stirrupoli. He was on Fox News over The weekend critiquing The venue that this correspondence dinner was at. And The fact that you had so many dignitaries in The room. The The The White House ballroom is going to be The perfect place for similar type events that can protect The President.
The Hilton incident could have been 100 times worse if the Secret Service hadn't intervened
But back to The threat environment. This, The threat environment in 2026 is just a whole different ballgame compared to 10, 15 or 30 years ago, especially pre 9, 11. It's just a whole different threat level. And there has to be nation state actors that are our adversaries. Looking at these lone gunmen, these supposed lone assassins or attempted assassins, looking at them, examining what The Secret Service vulnerabilities are. And there are so many scenarios that could have been 10 times worse. And of course, that's The case with all major averted incidents. You think about what could have happened if The Secret Service didn't step in. But there's so many incidents, I'm not even going to go through them all. I don't want to give any crazy ideas, but there are so many things that could have happened, at that Hilton that could have been a hundred times worse. But thankfully it was only one individual. And The Secret Service was able to do what it had to do to stop The perpetrator. Nonetheless, there's a lot of room for improvement. And The Secret Service is going to have to go back to The drawing board because obviously they've been protecting presidents for decades. They've been doing a good job for decades protecting The President. But you just can't let threats get that close. That's just The end. At The end of The day, you cannot let threats get that close, that close to that ballroom. With The number of dignitaries present, it just should not happen. And I'm sure they're Going to be looking back on this and seeing what could be done better.
Southern Poverty Law Center indicted on federal wire fraud charges; long overdue
moving on to The Southern Poverty Law center indictment that dropped last week when I was out. This is a fascinating story and is long overdue in my opinion. When you look at The activities of The Southern Poverty Law center, The fact that, that a lot of this, if not all in The indictment actually happened before President Trump was sworn into office in this latest term. But to summarize this indictment before, we play The clip here of The new acting Attorney General Todd Blanche. This has to do with wire fraud and with The Southern Poverty Law center allegedly paying bad actors on The other side on The so called right of The political spectrum. some of these groups like The kkk, The Aryan Nation and others, some of these crazy people that espouse evil views that The Southern Poverty Law center alleges to be acting against and stopping and working against. They were actually paying these agitators, paying these bad actors to, to continue to fester in this hatred. And then The SPLC was going back and fundraising on The very same activities that their organization was funding through these very sketchy setups and bank accounts and LLCs.
Alabama grand jury indicts Southern Poverty Law Center with 11 counts of fraud
Let's play The Acting Attorney General Todd Blanch last week with The FBI director talking about this Alabama indictment of The Southern Poverty law Center.
>> Todd Blanche: Clip 3 Good afternoon. Today, a few minutes ago in The Middle District of Alabama, a grand jury returned an 11 count indictment charging The Southern Poverty Law center with six counts of wire fraud, four counts of bank fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit money laundering. According to The charges in The indictment, The SPLC is a non profit entity that purports to fight white supremacy and racial hatred by reporting on extremist groups and conducting research to inform law enforcement groups with The goal of dismantling these groups. As The indictment describes. The SPLC was not dismantling these groups. It was instead manufacturing The extremism it purports to oppose by paying sources to stoke racial hatred. The indictment describes this conduct in detail, but one troubling example is that The SPLC was paying a member of The leadership group that planned The United States Unite The Right protest in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2017 that resulted in The death of one person and injured dozens more. This particular person being paid by The SPLC allegedly received approximately $270,000 over The course of eight years. In total, according to The indictment, between 2014 and 2023, SPLC paid at least $3 million to eight individuals at least these individuals were affiliated with The Ku Klux Klan, United Klans of America, National Socialist Movement, Aryan nations affiliated, Sadistic Souls Motorcycle Club, The Nationalist Socialist Party of America, Nazis and The American Front. Now, as The indictment lays out, after SPLC paid members of these extremist groups, it created work product that reported on these activities that The members participated in or contributed to. And to that end it was doing The exact opposite of what it's told its donors it was doing.
>> Walker Wildmon: This is, this is baffling folks, but not surprising. I, said baffling that The Southern Poverty Law center had The audacity and to do such low activity and in this instance alleged illegal activity. Once again, this is according to a federal indictment by a grand jury. This is not reporting from The NewSong York Times or anonymous sources. This is a federal indictment from an Alabama grand jury with The Department of Justice leading it in The U.S. attorney's office and dying The Southern Poverty Law center for paying The same people that they're fundraising on. For example, they, one of The individuals that was central in organizing and bringing together The Charlottesville protest march, whatever you want to call it, I think it was called Unite The Right. They The Southern Poverty Law center partnered with and paid over $200,000 to one individual for coordinating and putting together this so called right wing protest that was covered by The media. They created The whole Charlottesville hoax, accusing President Trump of saying that there are quote, very fine people on both sides. all of that was partially funded by The Southern Poverty Law Center. And then The SPLC would turn around and write fundraising appeals about how bad The Charlottesville protest was or The Charlottesville march or riot, whatever you want to call it. But yet they used donors money to make that happen, to pay for that part of that activity. And there's many more instances of, of this according to The indictment, money going to The Ku Klux Klan of America, National Socialist Party, Aryan Nations Associated group, The American Front and others. So The SPLC is monetizing hate and monetizing and fundraising off of some of The hate that they themselves paid for to ensure it happened. you don't get any more fraudulent than that for a non profit organization. We'll be back in a few. This is at The Core on American Family Radio with your host, Walker Wildmon. Foreign.
American Family Radio host discusses attempted assassination on President Trump this weekend
Welcome back to The Core here on American Family Radio. Glad to have you back with us on this last segment. Well, we've covered several stories today. A few stories The attempted assassination on President Trump and Other administration officials over The weekend in Washington D.C. at The White House Correspondents Dinner. major story that was going to be talked about for weeks to come and what can be done to further shield The President from such attempts. And The on that, The I mentioned The threat level that we're in and how it's just different than 10, 20 or specifically pre 9, 11 environment. and not to say that there were never assassination attempts before, that there's been attempts on presidents for, for over two centuries, since The early years of our country. But what I'm specifically referring to is, this rhetoric that is not fringe, rhetoric from small elements of our population. All right, what you're getting with 2026 and The 21st century that it is, you're getting dangerous, threatening rhetoric from major media outlets, major journalists or podcasters or television personalities. And as The secret, Service special agent that I played a clip of in The first segment alluded to this, this rhetoric that is very, very consistent now and, and persistent amongst major left wing media outlets that associate President Trump with Nazis, with The kkk, with Fascism, with being a, quote, king. there's been quotes from major, television personalities and Democrat Party operatives, calling President Trump a, quote, threat to democracy. Look, we've played The montage, The multiple montages on this show of whether it be Nancy Pelosi, Hakeem Jeffries, Richard De Niro, all of these, quote, you know, popular people, movie stars, Democrat activists, Democrat elected officials using this type of threatening and dehumanizing language against President Trump and conservatives and Christians in general. It has created this environment where they are radicalizing their followers. And this is not a far fetched theory, where we have to connect seven dots to put it all together or it's some sophisticated puzzle that we have to create, you know, a bunch of theories around to get it all to go together. This is all public record. The dangerous rhetoric on The left is public record. And it's commonplace for Christian and conservative organizations, whether you're pro family, pro life, whatever focus or specialty that your organization or your entity focuses on its security has become a dominating theme and discussion amongst Christian and conservative groups. Because The other side of The ideological spectrum has become so radicalized. But The left and The media, Democrat Party media apparatus that it is, has convinced you and me and others in The general public that we're The problem. That quote, right wingers are The problem. That's what we've been told. Right wingers are The problem. MAGA is The Problem. Republicans are The problem. The quote, conservative movement is The problem. We're all mean, we're all bigots. We're all part of The splc, quote, unquote, hate map, so on and so forth. That's what we've been told that we are. We've been indicted by The media on that. Democrats, of course, go on these outlets, and they keep regurgitating The same talking points that we're a threat to democracy, that President Trump wants to be a king. I've actually got a clip on that. And so The environment that is being set, that is being created and is currently in place today, is a political environment and an ideological environment that views conservatives and Christians as a threat to The very existence of The country. And when you place that level of propaganda, when you build that narrative, then you create followers that genuinely believe that. You create followers that genuinely believe that. And then you have people like this attempted assassin that flew all The way from California. I actually rode a train, I think our train and buses, to D.C. and look at his manifesto. I'm not going to read it on The air. I'm not going to say his name on The air. I think it was disgusting that 60 Minutes read part of The manifesto. 60 Minutes sat down with The President of The United States, who just had a third attempt on his life, and she had The audacity to read from The manifesto. You know how long we waited for The transgender crazed shooter in Nashville's manifesto? Years. Biden, The FBI, and The Nashville pd, they buried The manifesto from The Nashville shooter. Oh, it's dangerous. We can't let it get out. We just don't want that. We don't, want that getting out. Okay, so we wait years. Finally, Trump's DOJ released it, but we wait years, a couple years on that manifesto from a shooting at a Christian school in Nashville because The public can't, quote, handle The manifesto or we don't want to radicalize anybody else, folks. They're being radicalized every day. Watch Raechel Maddow. Watch The View. Watch cnn. Listen to Don Lemon, Listen to Gavin Newsom on his podcast. Listen to Nancy Pelosi's press conferences. The left and their followers are being radicalized every day. And when The violence is against The right, oh, we can't let that manifesto get out. It's just not good for The public. So we waited a couple years on The Nashville Manifesto, but this crazed gunman tries to take out President Trump, and he's got all this, insane, evil manifesto about who all he wants to take out and The allegations against President Trump and CBS 60 Minutes reads it, reads The manifesto on The national airwaves. I mean, isn't this like, Journalism 101 standard where we don't mention The names of The perpetrators to give them glory, give them their day in court, give them their day in The public air, in The airwaves, or read The manifestos on national television or radio? We just don't do it. We don't reprint manifestos from these crazed gunmans. We just don't do it. Now, if people want to go read it, we're all adults, that's fine. And I think all of this stuff should be public. There's no read to, no reason to classify stuff or hide stuff. We all should be able to consume this if we want to go look for it. But regurgitating these evil and wicked narratives that demonize one side of The political spectrum and regurgitating these talking points on national television just shouldn't be acceptable. It shouldn't be acceptable. And thankfully, President Trump called out CBS in 60 Minutes when they read from The manifesto on The 60 Minutes interview.
Democrat Party pushing narrative that President Trump wants to be king
Speaking of The 60 Minutes interview, President Trump in his classic form, when The interviewer was quoting The no Kings riot or no Kings protests that have been taking place over The last year or two around The country, President trump let The 60, minutes host know that clearly he's not a king, otherwise he wouldn't be having to deal with The media. Clip 2.
>> CBS Interviewer: He had attended a no Kings protest in California.
>> Pres Trump: No Kings.
>> CBS Interviewer: What did security tell you about what
>> Pres Trump: may have been his motives? The reason you have people like that is you have people doing no kings. I'm not a king. What I am. If I was a king, I wouldn't be dealing with you. President Trump said, if I was a king, I wouldn't be having to deal with you. The media folks, this narrative that. Once again, here's another example, I mean, right in front of our eyes, The premise behind The no Kings protest is creating this narrative and this, true belief system amongst Democrat Party voters that President Trump wants to be a king, that he wants to abolish The constitutional republic system of government for a kingship in America. Now, I know we've become somewhat desensitized to The rather ridiculous narratives that The left puts upon The American people. You and I, thankfully, are able to discern this stuff. And when they say no kings, you and I are laughing about it, right? Because it's laughable. President Trump can't even build a ballroom without A judge striking it down. So to think that he's a king is a joke. It's a joke. I mean, we don't even have The Department of Homeland Security fully funded because of The Democrats. So if President Trump was a king, we would have none of these issues. We would have The ballroom and we would have The government fully funded, and we wouldn't have Nancy Pelosi and Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer in positions that they are. But we don't have a king. We have a constitutional republic. We have three branches of government. Checks and balances, we vote. But The Democrats even calling these protests no kings protest sends The signal and creates this false belief amongst The Democrat voting base that President Trump really wants to be a king. And most people that are rational, they may think that President Trump wants to be a king, but they're not going to act out on that. Most people. But The problem that we have here, folks, is The farther this ideology of The Democrat Party. And look, I know saying The Democrat Party is probably over generalizing this, but at The same time, this is where The vast majority of problems are in our country. So we can avoid that. I'm not going to dance around The Democrat Party, all right? The Democrat Party is an institution and as a political party apparatus in The country is responsible for The vast majority of problems that our country is dealing with. Republicans aren't perfect. I've got plenty of problems with The Republicans, including The fact, by The way, that they won't get rid of this dumb filibuster and fund The government, including dhs, which includes Secret Service. I think. I think, Jon Thune, Republicans in The Senate ought to get rid of that dumb filibuster. Simple majority. Fund The government, tell The Democrats to take a hike. So Republicans got their problems, too, but The Democrat Party pushing this narrative of no kings and President Trump wants to be a dictator and a, king. What's happening here, folks, is they are radicalizing their voting base before our very eyes. These three attempted assassinations came from three people that had bought fully in to The lie that President Trump is a threat to democracy. They believed it. They heard it. They heard The narrative and they believed it. And so while I don't like to place blame so far removed on everyone who says anything about The opposing party and not liking The opposing party's ideas and how dangerous they are to The future of The country, at some point, though, The more you do this as Democrats, at some point they have to take responsibility. You can't go on The national airwaves day in and day out for 10 years now, which. Do The math, folks. That's what it's been over 10 years now. Calling Donald J. Trump a threat to democracy, a dictator. He wants to shred The Constitution. All of these, this. This dangerous rhetoric accusing ICE of killing immigrants. All of these dangerous rhetorics that are, utter lies. You can't, as a party and leaders of The party, regurgitate The lies and The dangerous talking points on national television for 10 years. And then your. Your voters, not our voters, not foreign actors, your voters are The ones taking to The streets, to use The Democrats, quote, taking to The streets, as Kamala Harris said, and attempting to assassinate The president on three occasions. You cannot have that consistent response record of dangerous rhetoric against The President of The United States, against The conservative movement and The Republican Party as a whole, and get out scot free. You cannot wash your hands of this dangerous rhetoric and claim that you have nothing to do with it. President Obama put out this old nice statement over The weekend. We shouldn't resort to political violence. Okay, I agree, President Obama, but why don't you tell Hakeem Jeffries, Chuck Schumer, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi and The rest of them that we don't need to use dangerous rhetoric that demonizes and dehumanizes political party opponents. That rhetoric must be targeted as well.
