Rob West: A 124 trillion dollar transfer of wealth is coming, and women are poised to inherit more than men. Hi, I'm Rob West. Over the coming decades, an extraordinary amount of wealth will change hands, placing women at the center of one of the largest wealth transfers in history. Sharon Epps joins us today to talk about what that means and how women can prepare to steward it well. And then it's on to your calls at 800-525-7000. That's 800-525-7000. This is Faith & Finance on American Family Radio. Biblical wisdom for your financial journey.
Rob West: Well, it's always a treat to have Sharon Epps back in the studio. She is President of Kingdom Advisors, our parent ministry, which equips Christian financial professionals to integrate biblical wisdom into the advice and guidance they provide. Sharon, great to have you back.
Sharon Epps: It's good to be here.
Rob West: Sharon, you have an insightful article in our new special edition of Faithful Steward Magazine, which we're really excited about. It's called "Are Women Ready for the Great Wealth Transfer?" And we hear that phrase all the time, "great wealth transfer." What exactly does it mean, and why are women expected to play such a significant role?
Sharon Epps: Well, you mentioned the dollar amount—1 and 1/4 trillion dollars will pass from baby boomers to their heirs by 2048. Economists have talked about this for years, but now it's getting closer and closer, and it's already starting. And women are at the center of this inheritance because they tend to live longer than men, and they're poised to inherit more than men because they get the intragenerational transfer between generations and the intergenerational transfers as well.
Rob West: Yeah, well that makes sense. I want to back up for a moment and go back to God's word, because women, of course, have been playing significant roles in financial stewardship going back to biblical times, right?
Sharon Epps: Well, we find in Luke 8:1–3 that women were actually the primary funders of Jesus' ministry. So it's right at the core. Paul calls Phoebe his benefactor—she actually underwrote his work. And in a deeply patriarchal culture, these women still used their means to push God's mission forward.
Rob West: I love that. And scripture, of course, calls each of us to faithful stewardship. So, talk to us about what that might look like specifically for women today.
Sharon Epps: This is really important, I think, for women to understand that 1 Corinthians 4:2 says, "Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful." And with women particularly, faithfulness shifts with every season in our life, and it's important that we stay informed, equipped, and engaged with money.
Rob West: Yeah, it is so important and really a critical idea for us as managers of what God entrusts to us. Now, whether a woman inherits wealth, or earns an income, or manages the household finances, let's talk about those unique opportunities she has to steward those resources.
Sharon Epps: Well, that's the thing. We often are all of those things. We're inheritors, we can be earners, and we're certainly managers of money. Research tells us that we're involved in 94% of the household decisions.
Rob West: Wow.
Sharon Epps: And in each of those roles, we get a chance to use money as a tool for God's purposes. And by stewarding well, we actually can help others see God's heart and calling for women.
Rob West: Yeah, that's exactly right. You know, we've talked about this special edition of our Faithful Steward Magazine that's all about women and wealth. We're so thrilled about it, and I'd love for you to share just a bit about your hope and prayer for both women and men in terms of takeaways from this.
Sharon Epps: Well, one of the big things is whether you love handling money or you "don't do numbers," you are a part of God's adventure of using money as a tool to love people. And I think that's the missing link with many women that quote "don't do money." And so what we've done in this issue is we've taken the stages of life and the roles in life that women play, and we've tied the money to it. And our goal is that you're able to see that money can actually be something that accelerates your purpose, and it accelerates those things that you're passionate about in God's kingdom. It will also spark conversations between other women, between kids, and hopefully even between spouses.
Rob West: Yeah, that's exactly right. Well, we can't wait to put it in your hands. And folks, we want you to know that as wealth changes hands, women have an extraordinary opportunity to steward it faithfully for God's purposes. And Sharon, I really appreciate you shedding some light on this today.
Sharon Epps: Always a pleasure. Thanks, Rob.
Rob West: Folks, that's Sharon Epps, President of Kingdom Advisors. Well, this month, as we've said, we're releasing our first-ever special edition of Faithful Steward Magazine. It's entirely focused on women stewarding wealth. For this month only, when you become a FaithFi Partner, we'll send you this special issue as our way of saying thanks. Just head to faithfi.com/give. That's faithfi.com/give. We'll be right back. Don't go anywhere.
David Wollen: For your walk with Jesus, I'm David Wollen with Haven Today, inviting you to anchor your day in God's word. Helplessness, that's a feeling no parent wants, but every parent knows well. We'd do anything for our kids, but there are limits to what we can do. The more they grow up, the less we can make their decisions for them. And we can't heal them. We can't make them love Jesus or make them walk with him. But one thing we can do is pray. And it's even better when we pray God's word back to him, like Proverbs 3:5-6: "Lord, may they trust in you with all their hearts and lean not on their own understanding. In all their ways, may they submit to you, so you can make their paths straight." Get more encouragement for your walk at haventoday.org.

Rob West: So thankful to have you with us today on Faith & Finance here on American Family Radio. Our lines are open, and we'd love to take your questions. We've got a special guest coming in the back half of the program. Dan Steiner will be here from Preborn as we celebrate an exciting announcement that I shared on Friday about a match as we head toward the end of our campaign with Preborn here at FaithFi today at 11:59 PM tonight. We're so excited about trying to reach this goal of 1,500 free ultrasounds funded. We had somebody step up on Friday to say, "Hey, I know you're heading toward 1,500, but whatever you get to, I'm going to double it," meaning potentially up to another 1,500 free ultrasounds or $42,000, which is just amazing. And so Dan's going to come by, and we're going to give you an opportunity to jump on board with us today, and that'll be in the back half of the program. But in the meantime, we do want to take your questions, so we've got room for you at the moment. If you have a question, call right now: 800-525-7000. That's 800-525-7000. What a treat to have Sharon Epps here today. I am holding in my hand this special edition of Faithful Steward. I am so thrilled when I get that notice from FedEx that the first copy off the printer has been put into a box and is mailed to my home, and it came over the weekend. And it's 80-- let me look to be exact here-- yeah, exactly 80 pages long, and it is full of articles, more than 25 articles on women and wealth, covering the gamut. You name it, the topic is probably covered here. What I also love about it is it's beautiful. So 15 all-women artists contributed to the artwork inside Faithful Steward, our special edition, our first special edition on women and wealth. I can't wait to put it in your hands. If you're a partner, it's going to be mailed to your door. And I know you're going to love it. You're going to want to get more and put them in the hands of the women that you know or are in your life. We are so proud of this tool that the team has pulled together with these amazing artists and writers to just equip you as a woman to be able to understand your identity in Christ and your role as a steward, and equip you to be able to lean into your passions and your giftings and to be able to steward wealth for God's glory with confidence. And we're so excited that we believe this special edition will help you do just that. By the way, if you'd like to become a partner to ensure that you get this and every other resource coming out, including Randy Alcorn's devotional that he's going to publish through FaithFi early next year, just head to faithfi.com/give. That's faithfi.com/give. And you're going to hear from a lot of the contributors in Faithful Steward over the next month, starting with Sharon Epps today. All right, let's take some questions. 800-525-7000 is the number to call. Any financial question, call right now. We want to try to get as many in as we can before Dan Steiner comes by in the back half of the program.
Rob West: Let's begin in Ohio. Dave, go ahead.
Dave: Yes, sir. Thank you for taking my call. We just count on your wisdom to get us through a lot of things here. I have a question. My mother-in-law has cracked her hip. She's 95, she's in rehabilitation, and she's going to have to go to assisted living. And we are curious about the house. I understand that it's paid for; she's lived in it 75 years. I understand that it becomes a liquid asset if she does not sign a form with intent to return. I think there's something like that, that the only way she can keep it on Medicaid is if she signs a legal form saying she does not intend to return, and without that, then the house becomes-- you would have to sell it to cover any costs when she runs out of other funds.
Rob West: Yeah. Yeah, that's right, Dave. Let me just first say I'm not an attorney, and you certainly don't want to make any decisions related to this without the wisdom and guidance of an elder care attorney who can help you navigate this legally and understand the implications. But let's just talk generally here. Yeah, what you're referring to is a state-specific rule that helps, you know, that really applies directly to this situation. So under Ohio Medicaid rules, the home can remain an excluded asset or resource while she's in the nursing home if-- and this is where this document comes in that you referred to-- if she still considers it her principal residence and intends to return to it. So Ohio specifically allows a signed statement of intent to return home during a temporary absence. However, if the family believes she likely won't be coming out, you know, that's where this gets a bit more complicated. The rules say that when the individual does not intend to return home, the home generally becomes a countable resource unless an exception applies, which would typically be a spouse or a dependent relative continuing to live there, or certain hardship circumstances. So this document you're talking about is this statement of intent to return home. But, you know, I would be careful about telling her to sign one simply as a way to protect the house. It has to reflect the genuine situation and intent. I also would not be moving toward deeding the house to another person or child without, again, getting that Ohio elder law advice first. There's, of course, that five-year Medicaid lookback to transfers for less than the fair market value, and an improper transfer could cause a period where Medicare won't pay for long-term care, not to mention just, you know, the ethical aspect of this as well in terms of how you move forward. So I think the next step is really to get an elder law opinion and some counsel related to how she proceeds here.
Dave: Okay. Yeah, thank you. That makes a lot of sense. I know the house goes to the children, but that's another thing. But yeah, I think I got it. That's good advice, and that just gives us a further direction where we can solidify what we need to do. I appreciate it so much.
Rob West: Absolutely, Dave. Thanks for your call and for your kind remarks about the program. We're grateful that you are with us today, and that you're walking alongside your mother-in-law. Let's pray that the Lord allows her to come out and return home. That would be amazing. But Lord bless you, sir, and call anytime if I can help. 800-525-7000 is the number to call, taking your questions today on anything financial. And then Dan Steiner stops by a little later in the broadcast as we celebrate the end of this three-month partnership, this campaign we've had with Preborn. AFR listeners know and love Preborn. You all have been supporting this ministry for years, and we're excited to do yet another campaign between FaithFi and Preborn these last few months, culminating today and with a special match that's been put on the table just in the last few days. In the news today, Americans are carrying more credit card and auto loan debt. According to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's latest household debt and credit report, listen to this: during the second quarter of 2026, credit card balances rose by $21 billion to 1.26 trillion with a T, while auto loan balances increased by 28 billion to 1.7 trillion. Non-housing debt overall grew by 48 billion during the quarter. Now, the picture isn't entirely negative despite those figures I just gave you. The share of outstanding household debt in some stage of delinquency came down, 4.7%, and credit card delinquency transitions were largely steady. However, early delinquencies on auto loans ticked a bit higher. Rising national debt is, of course, a reminder to watch your own borrowing carefully. So we want to prioritize paying down high-interest credit card balances, avoid carrying new revolving debt when possible, and make sure any vehicle purchase fits comfortably within your budget and financial goals, not just the monthly payment. Remember, among the big three budget busters: housing, food, and yes, transportation. That's one of the three, so just be careful there, especially with the price of automobiles these days. All right, a quick break, and then back with much more just around the corner. This is Faith & Finance on American Family Radio. I'm Rob West, and we'll be right back.
Rob West: Great to have you with us today on Faith and Finance here on American Family Radio. Dan Steiner stops by in the next segment as we talk about the culmination of this partnership we've had with Preborn the last few months. It all ends today, but on a high note, because we got word on Friday that a generous donor in our listening audience wants to double everything given throughout this entire campaign, not just Friday through today, actually going all the way back to the first gift. Everything that comes in when we total it all up tomorrow, this couple is going to double it, which is just amazing. And we'll talk more about that beginning in the next segment.
In the meantime, we do have room for a few questions. If you've got a financial question, whether you're giving, saving, or spending, maybe it's debt repayment, maybe it's investments, maybe it's preparing the next steward, whatever you're thinking about today, call right now, 800-525-7000. We'd love to get to a couple of calls quickly: 800-525-7000.
We started today with Sharon Epps talking about the women in the Bible that supported Jesus' ministry. So many examples of women entrusted with wealth, and responsibility, and business in God's word. It really is fabulous. And, you know, that's a great reminder because as we head quickly toward this great wealth transfer—the 100—this is estimated, listen to this: $124 trillion that will pass from the baby boomers to their heirs by 2048. So, just a bit—a touch more than 20 years from now, $124 trillion will have changed hands.
And the word frequently associated with the great wealth transfer is women, because women are poised to inherit more than men due to their longer life expectancy. So, women will be significant heirs receiving both intra- and inter-generational inheritances. We also see a growing number of women business owners in this country, which is incredible.
And so we've dedicated an entire special edition of our Faithful Steward magazine to this topic of women and wealth. And the centerpiece of it is an incredible research project that was just completed by Women Doing Well, in partnership with, among others, Blue Trust—the namesake of Ron Blue, his firm. And incredible just on women and generosity, when generosity flourishes, data around Next Gen and giving, where purpose is discovered and how that's so key, the themes of stewardship which thrive through shared values—you know, just a really robust research project that was conducted, really the largest of its kind on women, wealth, and giving. And that's all unpacked in this wonderful special edition alongside some just fabulous articles. It'll be going out to partners here in the next few days.
Rob West: Let's head back to the phones. We're going to head out to Mississippi. Glenn, you'll be our next caller. Go ahead, sir.
Glenn: Hey, good morning. Hey, good morning there. Just a quick question if you know. I was always told that at age 65 you have to sign up for Medicare. But if you're retired military and you have TRICARE, and you also have the VA medical benefits there, do you have to sign up for Medicare? And if you don't, what's the penalty?
Rob West: Yeah. Great question. So, this is something that comes up often when we talk about veterans. You need to pay close attention to Medicare. The rules are different from someone who has just ordinary retiree health insurance.
If you're eligible for the premium-free Medicare Part A, then at 65, you know, you would generally need both Medicare Part A and Part B to keep the TRICARE coverage. So once you have A and B, then you automatically transition to TRICARE For Life. It's not—there isn't a separate enrollment to TRICARE. Medicare generally pays first, and then TRICARE pays second.
Because you're 64 now, you need to start planning before your birthday, because that initial enrollment period that you referenced is seven months long: three months before the month you turn 65, and then three months after. And then TRICARE specifically recommends enrolling in Part B no later than two months before turning 65 to avoid a gap in the TRICARE coverage.
So, you know, you just need to be careful there. A lot of people think, "Well, I already have TRICARE, so I don't need Medicare." But that's generally not correct. If you're eligible for Medicare A and you don't maintain B, then you can lose your TRICARE coverage.
Glenn: Okay, super. Well, thank you for that information.
Rob West: Absolutely. Appreciate your call today, Glenn. Lord bless you, and thanks for your service to our country, sir.
800-525-7000 is the number to call.
You know, we were talking about this special edition of Faithful Steward and this incredible transfer of wealth that's coming through the great wealth transfer, and how women will steward a significant portion of that wealth. And, you know, one of the things that we address in this particular issue is that, you know, as women think about money, most don't feel—at least the research uncovers—that they're quote "bad with money" because they can't do the math. They often feel bad with money because of how it makes them feel.
You know, money feels so personal. It's never just about the dollars and cents. It's tied to our stories, and how we were raised, and what we've experienced, and what we fear. And Scripture reminds us to guard our heart, because everything we do flows from it, there in Proverbs 4. And that includes how we think about and handle money.
You know, when emotions around money remain unexamined, they quietly shape our decisions. And fear can keep us from planning, or shame might keep us silent, or comparison might lead us into choices that don't reflect our values at all. And so I think one of the first steps—and we talk about this in this edition of Faithful Steward—one of the first steps toward financial clarity isn't learning more information; it's gaining awareness.
You know, God isn't intimidated by our emotions around money. In fact, He invites us to bring them to Him, which is incredible, because He gives generously to those who ask (James 1:5). And so as we begin to understand what money represents in our own hearts, He replaces confusion with clarity and fear with peace. And we can really lean into the true role of money: that ultimately money is a tool. We can't serve God and money, but we can serve God with money. That net worth is not equal to our self-worth. That when we understand our identity in Christ, that's where we get confidence. And then ultimately we can move forward with purpose as we steward God's resources. What an important truth for us to be reminded of today.
Back with more after this.

Announcer: Every day, thousands of women face an unexpected pregnancy—scared, alone, and unsure where to turn. FaithFi is partnering with PreBorn! and you to bring the hope of Jesus to these mothers through free ultrasounds at pregnancy centers across America. When a mother sees her baby's heartbeat, everything changes. Your gift of just $28 saves a life and shares the love of Christ. Give today at faithfi.com/preborn. That's faithfi.com/preborn.
Announcer: This is American Family Radio, a listener-supported ministry of the American Family Association.
Rob West: Great to have you with us today on Faith & Finance here on American Family Radio. Well, as you know, throughout the year, we have the privilege of partnering with ministries doing incredible, meaningful Kingdom work, and PreBorn! is one of those ministries. Right now, we're helping PreBorn! reach more women facing unexpected pregnancies with compassionate care, free ultrasounds, and ultimately, the hope of Christ. Today at 11:59 p.m. culminates this three-month campaign that we've had to shine a light on the incredible work of PreBorn!. First, I just want to say thank you to so many of you who have already jumped on board to help us reach our goal of 1,500 free ultrasounds provided through the incredible ministry of PreBorn!.
But we're not there yet. And we got incredible news on Friday about a match. Somebody wants to come alongside us, and everything that's been given from the first day of this partnership through tonight at 11:59 p.m., up to $42,000 or 1,500 free ultrasounds, this couple in our listening audience is going to double it, which is just amazing! And I think just such evidence of the stewards that we have the privilege of serving each day on this program.
Well, we want to talk more about that. We're so thrilled to welcome back to the airwaves today PreBorn!'s founder and president, Dan Steiner. Dan, what a joy to have you here on a really important day.
Dan Steiner: This is really great to hear of what the listeners, brand new to PreBorn! here at FaithFi, have done. Wow, this is great.
Rob West: It's amazing. It really is. Now, I want to back up for a second because even though many in the American Family Radio listening audience know and love PreBorn!, I know in an audience this size, there's some out there who are just hearing about it for the very first time. So, remind us of the mission at the heart of this ministry and what PreBorn! is doing each day to accomplish it.
Dan Steiner: Thanks for asking, Rob. It's found in the words of Jesus who said, "I came to destroy the works of the devil," which is abortion on demand. PreBorn! exists to save babies and save souls, plus nothing. We're out to help the mom choose life and to choose Christ at her critical moment of decision, when they're in the valley of decision, whether they're going to abort their child or not.
And so, we reach them on the internet, we have them talk to our nurses online, and then we make an appointment in our network partner clinics all across the nation—the best medical clinics in the country—with compassionate, practical care. And an intention, an ulterior motive, to lead them to Jesus. So we do that, and we strengthen pregnancy clinics all across the country in the process in a number of ways.
Rob West: Incredible. Well, you've been doing it for a long time, and I know the Lord has used it in significant ways—not only for moms that have chosen life after seeing their sweet little babies on ultrasound, but also so many coming to Jesus as a result of the Gospel being shared with intentionality.
By the way, if you want to be a part of this, every $28 given is not only going to fund one ultrasound, it's going to now fund two because of this match as we head toward our goal of 1,500 ultrasounds. And then that becomes 3,000 ultrasounds funded through your generosity. Again, a gift of $28 doubled today. Just go to faithfi.com/preborn. That's faithfi.com/preborn. Now is the time because this all wraps up at 11:59 p.m. tonight.
Dan, I think many Christians understandably celebrated when Roe v. Wade was overturned in 2022, but that didn't mean the fight over abortion was over. What are you seeing today?
Dan Steiner: Well, it certainly was something that we celebrated as well, hoped for for 30 years. But it made abortion worse, sadly and realistically. The landscape completely changed after the fall of Dobbs, and it went to the internet. So, women who are financially strapped, who, you know, are being pressured to have their abortion, go online, find an abortion pill that they can have delivered to their home. And that's where abortions of today, at least a quarter of them, are done in women's bathrooms in all of our neighborhoods.
And so, what that means is the year after Roe v. Wade fell, there were 80,000 more abortions. The year after that, there were 100,000 more abortions. And the year after that, last year, 1.3 million abortions. And so, this is a travesty, and it's something the abortion industry planned for. And sadly, PreBorn! is the only realistic national competition that has the technology to be able to compete against this telehealth abortion, which is what abortion is in America today. The whole profile has changed.
Rob West: Wow, wow. Well, folks, you can be a part of the solution as you fund these free ultrasounds from PreBorn! at faithfi.com/preborn. Every $28 given funds one of these. We've already had one person during this campaign say, "I have a bit more capacity, I want to make a $15,000 gift." Why $15,000? Well, that's to actually purchase an ultrasound machine for a pregnancy center that's waiting for one. Isn't that right, Dan?
Dan Steiner: Yeah, we've put in 192 so far this year. It's the best weapon we have. It not only shows the woman a picture of her baby—real life, real time, in utero—but also, more importantly actually, lets her hear her baby's heartbeat. That's the thing that changes her mind most of the time. And so, whether it's a $15,000 or a $140,000 machine, you know, we want all of our clinics to have the best technology.
Rob West: Yeah, incredible. And so whatever your gift is today, faithfi.com/preborn, and again, every $28 given—and maybe you can do $100 or $140, whatever it is—it will be doubled up to $42,000 so we can see not 1,500, but 3,000 free ultrasounds provided. Faithfi.com/preborn.
Dan, let's talk about that ultrasound for a second, which is, as you've said, a really important part of PreBorn!'s ministry. What can happen when a woman considering abortion sees her baby on that screen for the first time?
Dan Steiner: Let me answer that with a true story, Rob. Just a lady by the name of Lucy. She couldn't come—didn't show up for four of her appointments, was because she didn't have a way to drive in. So we bought her an Uber, she came into one of our clinics. She was wanting to have an abortion. She was very distressed, crying, speaking very softly when she came in. The father was abusive, addicted to narcotics, found out when she was pregnant, and he left.
She didn't have a place to live, she lost her home, was alone, had food insecurity, suicidal. Said, "I want this baby, I just don't see—I just want a family, I want to have it, but he left me, I have nowhere to live."
During the ultrasound, which she got in after she took the Uber, Lucy was—her whole countenance changed. She brightened up, she was completely amazed seeing the baby on the screen moving, jumping, saying, "It's moving so much, I can't believe it." She kept repeating that.
And after hearing the heartbeat, it really clinched the deal. And she says, "You know, I can't do this. I don't know what I'm going to do, but I can't have this abortion." Of course, we come behind her for three years, whatever she needs—housing for a while, you know, maternity clothes, cribs, car seats, lots of diapers, whatever she needs so that she can choose life for three years.
And so, that's the power beyond circumstance of what seeing the reality, humanity of the baby inside of their own womb makes the difference. It's a journey to get them in. We've got to get them into the clinic, but once we do, and they meet their baby for the first time—the best first baby picture, if you will—it is the deal right there.
Rob West: And more important than that even is the hope of Jesus Christ, and the Gospel is clearly presented, isn't that right?
Dan Steiner: Boy, it really is. We had a couple come in, and the boyfriend was pushing her to abort. We found out, so we brought him back into the counseling room. And the counselor put a little fetal model in his hand and said, "This is the size of your son or daughter as we're speaking."
He looked at that, started to tear up, and said, "I don't know what to do. My father was a violent drunk, and I'm worse than he is. I don't want to bring a kid into this mess."
Rob West: I'm going to stop you right there. I want to hear the rest of that story, Dan, but we're going to do it after the break.
Folks, faithfi.com/preborn to jump on board. The rest of that story and more time with Dan Steiner right after this break. Stay with us.
Announcer: When you look at the fundamental priorities that this administration has, rebuilding the American family through the various priorities, ensuring religious freedom is alive and well and flourishing in America, having a Department of Justice that is actually focused on enforcing the laws of the land, I have a hard time disagreeing with any of it. Rob West: Great to have you with us today on Faith and Finance here on American Family Radio. Well, throughout the year, we spotlight incredible ministries doing really life-changing work in the name of Jesus. And this quarter, culminating tonight at 11:59 PM, it's been all about PreBorn!—the incredible ministry that you know and love here at AFR if you've been around for any length of time—reaching women facing unexpected pregnancies with compassionate care, free ultrasounds, and ultimately the hope of Christ. Every $28 given is going to fund a free ultrasound. We're headed toward 1,500 of those ultrasounds, Lord willing, funded. And then Friday, a donor stepped up and said, "Whatever the total is from this entire campaign at 11:59 on Monday, tonight, I'm going to double it, my wife and I. We want to put up to another $42,000, another 1,500 free ultrasounds." So, what an amazing opportunity: two free ultrasounds funded every $28 when you go to faithfi.com/preborn. The other way to jump on board is if you'd rather just pick up your smartphone and dial #250 and then say the word "baby." That will give you everything you need—#250 on your phone, say the keyword "baby"—and you will have everything you need. That will, of course, go to this campaign and be matched today. And then quick and easy: faithfi.com/preborn. Dan, we were talking before the break—and by the way, we're so thrilled to be joined right now by PreBorn!'s founder and president, Dan Steiner. Dan, we were talking about the role of PreBorn is so significant, trying to get to moms before they get to the pregnancy center, because often they don't ever, through social media campaigns and online and other means. And then the role of the ultrasounds being so significant as mom and, you know, perhaps the father see the baby. But the other piece of this, the most important, is the sharing of the Gospel. And you were sharing a story before the break; I'd love for you to recap that and then tell us the rest of it.
Dan Steiner: Hear Rob, but yeah, [laughter] wonderful. So, we had the mother that was being pushed, frankly, by her boyfriend to abort. And when we brought him back into the counseling room where she told us this, he said, "Well, my my my dad was a violent drunk, and I'm worse than he is, and I don't want to bring my my kid into this mess." And so, the counselor put a little fetal model in his hand, the size of the gestational age of the baby in his girlfriend's womb, and she said, "You know, this is your son or daughter we're talking about here." Well, he looked at that fetal model for a moment or two and then he began to tear up. He said, "I don't know what to do. I I just I don't have any hope here." And long story short, next 45 minutes, that counselor shared with him someone who could heal his past and give him hope for the future of controlling himself and tempering his addiction, and set him free, and he was, by the Chief Executive Officer of PreBorn, Jesus Christ, whom they both accepted as their Lord and Savior during that counseling appointment. Our hope is that every woman that comes into PreBorn will receive Christ as their Lord and Savior, and we share it with almost all of them that are willing to hear it—we don't push. And that is allowing them to have a better decision matrix so that they live a life that's biblical. We have seen over 7,267 7,267 commitments to Christ so far this year. And so, it is the definitive difference of PreBorn from all other pro-life movements. We are the Gospel champion of the pro-life movement on purpose.
Rob West: Yeah, incredible. Dan, you referred in the previous segment to one of the biggest shifts in this space, and it's the tragedy of the rise of medication abortion. I know here in Georgia, for example, state data shows that 83% of abortions in 2024 were drug-induced. And that's just one state, but it gives us a sense of how much the landscape has changed. I'd love for you to talk just a bit more about what you're doing to really confront that reality.
Dan Steiner: Well, the reality is that it's more stark than it's ever been, more abusive to women than it's ever been, Rob. So, you know, a woman came into our clinic—she called first in hysteria. She said, "I took this abortion pill, and I don't know what to do. After bleeding for several hours, my baby's on the bathroom floor. You know, I can see its heart beating. What do I do?" This is chemical abortion in America. It's macabre. It's horrific, and it's real. And it's what the abortion industrial complex planned for. They have less liability, less overhead by just shipping the pill. And they're able to ship it—they knew that the law would change, and so now they're shipping these abortion pills. Massachusetts exports lots of abortion pills through their doctors up there into pro-life states like Texas and Mississippi. And which are, you know, and then they have shield laws to protect the doctors and such. So anyway, this is a huge mess, and abortion is worse than it's ever been, sadly. Which is why PreBorn had to stand up this telehealth alternative to chemical—digital chemical abortions—digitally finding the abortion pill provider, abortion pill pusher online. So, that's what we're doing.
Rob West: Incredible. The numbers are just simply staggering, and I know the need is massive here, Dan. Give us a sense—you've mentioned a few of these numbers, but I want you to just give us an overview of the scale of what God is doing right now through PreBorn. What kind of impact have you seen just in the last year?
Dan Steiner: Well, not as much as we would want, but we have seen over 67,700 67,700 babies and moms saved from the horrors of abortion. We've seen, as I mentioned, over 7,000 women come to Christ through our evangelism in the clinics. In addition to that, we've trained over 300 clinics, many of which are not our partner clinics, in evangelism. We've trained over 1,700 evangelists in the clinics, and we've placed over 200 ultrasound machines. And a lot of this is through now the FaithFi family, and so we're just really thankful for that. But we need to do a lot more.
Rob West: Yeah, yeah. Well, we're so honored to partner with you, and we mentioned a moment ago, but I'll mention it again—and I'll just mention their first names: Jason and Kelly. We are so grateful, Jason and Kelly, that you stepped up on Friday and said, "We've been listening." They're actually—Jason's a Certified Kingdom Advisor, he listens to the program, and he and his wife stepped up and said, "We're so excited about what you're doing with PreBorn. We want to match everything given between now—well, from the beginning of the campaign through tonight at 11:59 PM—up to 1,500 ultrasounds, which would become 3,000 if we can reach that number, up to $42,000, which would become $84,000 in the hands of PreBorn to do this incredible work." That's what you're a part of, folks, when you join us right now: faithfi.com/preborn, faithfi.com/preborn. You can get in on this match, and now every $28 is not going to fund one, but two of these free ultrasounds, which is a game-changer. Also, you can just pick up your smartphone and dial #250, dial that, and then say the keyword "baby," and you'll get everything you need. And this is all going to wrap up tonight. We'll report on it tomorrow, and then we'll celebrate the match from Jason and Kelly. Dan, let's just talk for a second about how our audience can be praying for PreBorn right now. What would you say to those who really might be considering supporting this work today, and what prayer needs do you have?
Dan Steiner: Well, thankful for everyone that has come in. We're only like $2,400 $3,400, I'm sorry, short of our goal, so praise God for that, Rob. Thank you for that. I pray for the women most importantly. Before you pray for PreBorn, pray for the women that come in, that they'll choose life. You know, they've got a lot of pressures, and so we just want to make sure that we're backing that up in prayer and that they'll choose Christ. Pray for their unborn children. Pray for our pregnancy clinic staff. They're always under attack; it's crazy and bad. Pray for us that we have the wisdom to be able to outsmart the Google algorithms that are a daily pain in our back to try to get these women to click into our site rather than to the abortionist site. They're not friendly; Silicon Valley is not friendly to us. And for protection. Our centers are with the frontline of abortion here, the frontline of the most highly contested issue on the planet. And the enemy doesn't like that, but we need God's protection, God's wisdom for sure on that. And, you know, thanks for the provision. This is just a wonderful new partnership, and we're thankful for your heart, Rob, and your team here, and especially your listening audience, to come and be part of the battle here.
Rob West: Well, thank you, Dan. It's our privilege. And, you know, you might be listening saying, "Wait a minute, I thought this was a money show about how we steward God's money." It is! [laughter] And we know when we steward money God's way, we hold it loosely and we give it generously. And as an expression of our gratitude for the grace we've received, the unmerited favor from our Savior, we hold money and we give it generously to those causes on the heart of God. And clearly, the vulnerable and life issues are central to the heart of God. And so that's why we throughout the year shine a light on various ministries that you may or may not know about, and then come alongside them so that as an expression of your stewardship, you can give beyond the giving to your local church to a ministry like PreBorn. I just got an update. So, when we take out the $15,000 gift that was given by a FaithFi listener that's going to go right to a free ultrasound machine, when we set that aside because that's spoken for, 810 of the 1,500 free ultrasounds have been provided. So, we still need—have a ways to go. We're looking for 690 more, $28 at a time, and guess what? Every one of those is going to be matched by Jason and Kelly at the end of the day today at 11:59 PM. So, now is your time. If you're out there today and you say, "I can do $28," or "I can do $56," or "I can do even more," head to faithfi.com/preborn, faithfi.com/preborn, or grab your smartphone, type in #250, dial that, and then say the keyword "baby," and you'll get all that you need. And this is all going to wrap up tonight. We'll report on it tomorrow, and then we'll celebrate the match from Jason and Kelly. Dan, so thankful for you and your work and your partnership. This has been just incredible these last few months.
Dan Steiner: It's been a blessing for us. Only $19,000 short, and it's all tax-deductible. Thank you folks for being part of saving babies. We really appreciate it.
Rob West: Amen. Bless you, my friend. We'll talk to you again real soon. Folks, thanks for being along with us today. Again, that website: faithfi.com/preborn. Big thanks to my team today—they're amazing: Pat, Patty, Devon, Taylor, everybody here at FaithFi that makes this possible. Hope you'll come back and join us tomorrow; we'll be taking your questions on anything financial. Until then, may God bless you. Bye-bye.
Announcer: The views and opinions expressed in this broadcast may not necessarily reflect those of the American Family Association or American Family Radio.

Bye-bye.
