Google's Email Blocking: Past Incidents and Current Struggles with Stand America
The second time this has happened. For some reason, they have decided that my emails are not worthy of arriving in your Gmail boxes. So if you're one of those people out there, you've got Gmail. I can tell you right now if you're on my list or you want to hear from me, I have a very, very difficult time communicating with you because Gmail is blocking our emails. There was a moment this, happened about two years ago, actually longer than that, about three years ago. They literally, folks, and I'm not exaggerating in the least, they literally would not deliver any email from a StandAmerica US email address. They would not deliver any of those emails to any Gmail address. And, and I'm not just talking about sending out mass emails to our entire list. I'm talking about if I tried to send you an email from my address, which my old email address was presidenttandamerica.in if I tried to send you an email from that address, I would get a pop up saying, this email cannot be delivered to a Gmail address. Literally, they would not allow me to mail to anybody who had a Gmail address. We worked around that by spending thousands of dollars and a lot of time and energy changing all of our literature to reflect the new email address which we adopted. Our email address is now stand inc.net so my email address is now president at stake standinc.net or [email protected] but now we're having a similar problem with standinc.net and, folks, forgive the inside baseball, but for those of you who've never experienced this stuff of sending out mass emails, the way it works is if, for example, you have, say, an email list of, say, 5,000 people and you decided you wanted to try to grow that email list and you went out and you rented lists. You can rent lists and buy list and that kind of thing. Now these are lists of people with whom you are prospecting. They're not your people. They, they don't may, they might not even know you. Let's say you drop that into your email system. Let's say you dropped a thousand emails into your email system. You, you sent out 6,000. So the five that you had, the 6,000 more. Well, let's just say out of that 6,000, maybe you get half of these people saying, unsubscribe, don't want to hear from you, blah, blah, blah, blah. Okay, now an email system looks at that and says, wow, these people are getting a lot of unsubscribes. They're getting. A lot of people don't want to get their email. Then they read that. That's a red flag. That's really kind of part of the business. It's not something I do, but a lot of people do it. You know, running and buying email addresses, trying to find new prospects. A lot of fundraisers do it. It's not something that we do. Which is why we don't quite understand why Gmail is targeting us. Well, I shouldn't say we don't quite understand. Let's put it this way. We know we're not doing anything wrong and yet we're getting targeted. So pray for us, because we're taking a number of actions. I just want you all to know we have written to the Federal Trade Commission because we really believe that, Gmail and Google are engaged in unfair trade practices. We've written to the Attorney General's office. We believe that they are really violating the Civil Rights act, not on the basis of race, but on the basis of basically religious liberty, because they don't like our Christian perspective. and so, you know, they've just decided it will cut us off. 65% of the people in the United States right now. 65% of us use Gmail. And think about that means they cut off an organization that is emailing people. They're likely to cut 65% of the ability to communicate. Imagine this. Imagine your telephone company contacted you and says, hey, Mark, we're going to stop you from using our telephone system because we don't like what you stand for. So you can't call your friends, you can't call your family. And I know it's not quite a one on one analogy, but realize how ubiquitous email is. Everybody communicates by email these days. And Even though we probably get more emails than we want, we still communicate with email to the people that we want to talk to directly. Imagine Gmail saying, well you can't do that, we won't let you. Or imagine imagine your telephone company saying that. Or imagine them saying, well yeah, you can make phone calls but we're not going to let you call anybody that is a customer of ours. Imagine that. Which is exactly what Gmail is doing. You go to pick up the phone, you try to call, you know, your friend Billy Bob and a message comes on says your call to Billy Bob may not be completed. And then we'll say, because we don't like you. But you know, that's what it is. So pray for us folks, because we're not, we're not going to take this sitting down. I mean we're just not, I'm not putting up with it. I know Google is a jar, is a gargantuan trillion dollar company, but I tell you what, they're not God, you know, compared to God they're like a little pimple on somebody's baby finger. Compared to God they're not even that big. They might think they're God, but they're not. So pray for us because little old us, just trying to bring Americans together across racial and cultural lines and calling out the leftist insanity and hatred of our country and attempts to divide us and attempts to destroy our country from within. Calling all of that out apparently is something Google doesn't like because here again, second time we're dealing with this crazy. And by the way you say, well what about the other email addresses you mailed to? Night and day difference. Night and day difference, folks. The other email addresses we mail to sometimes say for example with Yahoo, we will get 20, 25, 26, 27% which is a great open rate. Google sometimes is basically zero. Which means they're not delivering those emails at all. They're not just delivering the spam spam, they're blocking them. And by the way, that's what they did before. They blocked our emails completely and totally blocked them this time. But they were, they gave us, they didn't tell us why and they didn't tell us what to try to do about it, what to correct. They just blocked them. Now this time they're not telling us, but we know they're blocking them because we know we're putting our own Gmail addresses in and we don't get our own emails. Now think about that. So just wanted you all to be aware of the challenge we face. I don't say this, by the way, to wine. I say it to solicit your prayers and your support. Because this is what we're up against, folks.
Recounting Political Campaigns and the Intense Hatred from the Left
When I was running for Lieutenant governor of Virginia, I won the Republican nomination and things were really looking good. in October of the election year, I was appointed head of Ralph Northam, you know, the reprobate who ultimately became governor, who famously said, well, if a child is born alive, which you intended to abort it, then the mother can get together with the doctor and they can decide what they're going to do about it. In other words, if they decide to kill the child, that's fine. Well, he had Silicon Valley people dump a bunch of money on him, and he used that money to basically, portray, a bunch of lies about me. And when we, of course, tried to get the press to kind of question him, they weren't interested in that. And I'll never forget it, I had a wonderful advisor who really helped me in that campaign. And as we were, sort of watching my lead erode as money poured in to try to define me, of course, as a nutcase, a right wing crazy and all that, this person came to me, he said, you know, I hope you understand these people don't just disagree with you. When he was talking about the media and the left, he said, they hate you. They, they hate you with a passion. I mean, they would kill you if they could. That's how much they hate you. And, you know, when he said that, I was startled by it because I'd never really thought about it that way. But I've learned over the years, folks, he was absolutely right. It's not just me. They hate you, too. They hate all the talk show hosts on American Family Radio. They hate the Wildmans, of course, they hate Donald Trump because he's a very big target. But they hate all of us who stand on biblical worldview, traditional values. They hate our guts. They want us dead. And if they can't kill us, then they'll simply destroy us if they can. But what they don't know is greater is he that's in us than he that's in the world. And that we are more than conquerors to him that loved us.
The Message Endures: Martyrdom, Truth, and the Call to Stand Firm
I mean, look at this, folks. Last year around this time, I was due at a Truth and Liberty conference with Charlie Kirk and a number of others, and Charlie Kirk never showed up because they killed him. But, you know, you can kill the dreamer, but you can't kill the dream. And you can kill the messenger, but you can't kill the message. Charlie Kirk's message is resounding more powerfully now than it did when he was alive. Turning Point USA has grown by leaps and bounds. So, you know, I often say I don't care what they think about me. I don't care what they say about me. I don't care how much they hate me. I don't care what they try to do to me. I'm not going to hate them in return and I'm not going to try to harm them in return or kill them in return. I'm not talking about legitimate self defense now, but I'm certainly not going to be plotting to hurt somebody or harm somebody or encouraging anybody to do that. But look, if they kill me, it's a promotion. It's a graduation. So I'm not going to stop saying the things that I say, and standing for the things that I stand for out of fear of what these people are going to do to me. Charlie Kirk didn't and he ended up giving his life. And yes, he is a legitimate Christian martyr. I don't care what anybody says. Charlie Kirk is a legitimate Christian martyr who gave his life for the cause of Christ as well as for our religious and First Amendment liberties. Freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of conscience. Because he died speaking his mind with love to people who hated him. Poor. as a matter of fact, now, by the time you're hearing this, this was last week, I was at the same conference last week and we had Lucas Miles, who is the Vice president of Turning Point USA and president of Turning Point Faith. He was there. he wasn't scheduled to be there last year. Charlie Kirk was, but Lucas Miles was there and spoke poignantly about martyrdom. And you know, I've said for a long time I really believe that martyrdom is a calling.
Speaking Truth in Love Despite Opposition
I believe that God calls some of his people to be martyred to give their lives for him. So I don't believe most people ever have to be concerned about being martyred for the cause of Christ. But I believe that every Christian is supposed to be willing and every Christian is supposed to be ready. He that loses his life for my sake will find it. But he that finds his life will lose it. In other words, you hold on to this little fleshly life you've got and you guard it for dear life and you compromise and you refuse to take a stand for Jesus Christ. And you don't want to offend anybody. You don't want to get Anybody upset. You want everybody happy at Thanksgiving table and all that. And I'm not saying we go around looking to offend people, because that's not what we do. We're speaking the truth in love. But look, folks, I said you can put. You could put ice cream on it, put chocolate syrup on it, put a cherry on the top, put whipped cream on that and put chocolate sprinkles on that. You could put all that on the truth and serve it up and people still hate you for it and spit it right back in your face. There's nothing you can do to make it palatable. The only thing you can do is speak the truth and have faith that the Holy Spirit will minister that truth to the hearts of people whose consciences are seared over with a hot iron and whose hearts are hardened, but that it will penetrate their hearts and ultimately find root and find soil in their hearts that will grow up into eternal life.
Continuing the Mission and Bearing the Cross for Faith and Country
Hey, you know what, folks? my backdrop just went away. Now, that is terrible. But it happened. And there's nothing I can do about it, except at this point, continue. And that is exactly what I'm going to do. it'll come back up here shortly. But look, we have got to take a stand for these things. And no matter what the cost, we've got to do it because Jesus Christ has paid the ultimate cost for us. And out of commitment and loyalty to him, we must be prepared to pay the cost that is required of us in order to be faithful to him, whatever that cost is. You know that old song says, must Jesus bear the cross alone and all the world go free? No, There's a cross for everyone and there's a cross for me. The consecrated cross I'll bear till death shall set me free and then go home My crown to wear for there's a crown for me now this is a different song, but to me it is really part and parcel of that same sentiment. Must I be carried to the skies on flowery beds of ease While others fought to win the prize and sail through bloody seas? No, I must fight if I would gain Increase my courage, Lord, I'll bear the sorrow Endure the pain Supported by your word.
Ultimate Victory in God and Reflections on 9/11 and Islamic Terrorism
We just have to stand up. We just have to step up and speak up no matter what. We just have to do it. And we believe God. For the the ultimate victory is ours. And nobody can take that away from us. Nobody can stop us. We ultimately can bet cannot be overcome. Greater is he that's in us than he that's in the world. And so, you know, reflecting on Charlie Kirk, and by the way, it's interesting. Charlie Kirk's assassinated on the day before we, commemorate one of the greatest, one of the most infamous, infamous, I should say, rather than greatest, one of the most infamous days in American history. 9, 11, when, a handful of, vicious Islamic terrorists brought down the World Trade Towers, flew a plane into our Pentagon, tried to fly one into the capital, but ultimately brave Americans stopped them from doing it. But these vicious, demonic Islamic terrorists, who are still at work, by the way, tried to destroy our country. They were trying to bring our country down economically, politically and militarily. Little did they know it was going to take a whole lot more than that. For the first time, we suffered an attack on our homeland. For the first time, we saw Americans killed by the enemy in a massive attack right here on our homeland.
Speaking Truth in Love, Understanding Charlie Kirk's Legacy and Martyrdom
And let me just say once again, folks, we speak the truth in love. We do not speak it in hatred. I know that sometimes the things that one can say come across as harsh. And I realize that our enemies, again, will always interpret that, or even if they don't interpret it this way, they will always characterize it as hatred because it helps them see. We'll say, you know, E.W. jackson, he's a hater. Well, that does them good. And, and they think that also helps the people who they're trying to persuade to be on their side to do so and to feel good about doing so. so this, this, this young man who killed, Charlie Kirk said, he grew tired of his hatred. Well, I don't believe that there was a. There was a scintilla of hatred in Charlie, Kirk's entire being. I really don't. And I didn't know him, but I met him. But a lot of people that I know knew him and knew him well, and there was not an ounce of hatred in him. But of course, that's the way they characterized him, because it's much, much easier to oppose him and to get other people to oppose him. If you can characterize him as some kind of monster, which he was not, I believe Charlie Kirk is in the arms of the Lord right now, enjoying his rewards that he's heard. Well done, good and faithful servant. You've been faithful over a few things. I'll make you ruler over many. Why? Because Charlie Kirk was perfect? No, of course not. But because he served God, because he was born again and made in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ, given a brand new regenerated spirit that was perfect as Charles Wesley said we can say of him, of course we can say this of all of us. A charge to keep. I have a, God to glorify, who sent his son my soul to save and fit it for the sky to serve the present age.
America's Foundation: Faith, Family, and Internal Resilience Against Enemies
My calling to fulfill, old man, all my powers engage to do my master's will. That's what Charlie Kirk set out to do, and that's what he did. But these vicious terrorists on, on September 11th came here to try to undo everything that God has done. I said, you know, we've got them within our own country, people. Everything God is for, they're against. And everything God is against, they're for. And they thought America is going to be brought down because they're against everything America represents. And they didn't understand you could not bring America down by destroying the World Trade Towers or destroying the Pentagon, or even if they had succeeded in destroying the Capitol, thank God they didn't. But you could not bring America down doing that, because America is more than those things. America is a nation built on faith, in God, on family. we are resilient because of who we are on the inside, not because of what we have on the outside. Man, I need to say that one again, that's hot off the Holy Ghost presses. We are resilient because of who we are on the inside, not because of what we have on the outside. And they did not understand that. And frankly, all the enemies of the United States still do not understand that. And again, I, know I will not ever get credit for loving Muslims, even though in the name of Jesus, I do, because that is the love of God that's been shed abroad in my heart and in all of our hearts by the Holy Spirit. I hate Islam. As I've said before, I hate it because it's a lie. It's a false system. It is based on a false prophet teaching people to follow a false God. I hate it. I have no empathy, sympathy for it whatsoever. But I love those Muslims. I love those Muslims because they're caught in the web of, the greatest liar who ever lived, Satan. They're caught in his web. And he used Muhammad to basically convince people that what he was offering was something that would, would be good for them. You know, you kill a bunch of Christians and kill a bunch of Americans, and you're going to. You're going to go to heaven and you're going to have 72 virgins waiting. I mean, it makes me sad. It really does. As well as godly angry that people buy into those kinds of ridiculous lies and that people sell those kinds of ridiculous lies. They sell those lies to people because they know that people will buy them. But you and I have got to be tellers of truth. Even though again, speaking the truth is going to get draw a lot of hatred and a lot of venom and folks, it'll even draw a knife or bullet. But it must be said. It must be said. Because how in the world else are the people who are caught up in those lies ever going to hear the truth if we don't tell them?
The True Measure of Love: Speaking Truth for Souls Despite Offense
As you all have heard me say many times, I'd rather somebody get so mad at me they could just absolutely annihilate me on the spot, but end up thinking about what I've said and ultimately come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and see me in heaven with a great big old smile on their face and say, thank you. Thank you that you didn't care about offending me. Thank you. That you didn't care what I thought. Thank you. You didn't care about my feelings, you cared about my soul. And you loved me enough to tell me what I wanted to hear when I didn't want to hear it. Thank you. Because as a result of your courage, I'm in heaven right now. And had you not done that, who knows, I might have, well ended up in hell. You want to tell me who truly loves people? The person who bows and kowtows and avoids offending anybody. Because, you don't want, you want people to like you and just send them straight to hell liking you or the person who says, you know what, sure, I'd rather people like me than not like me. But compared to the value of your soul, I don't care if you hate me for what I have to say, I'm gonna say it because I'm fighting for you, not against you. Let me see, folks, we're fighting for Muslims, not against them. Now, we're against that ideology and we have to defend ourselves against any attempt to harm our people. And we're going to. But when we speak the truth in love, we're fighting for these Muslims, not against them. We're fighting for homosexuals when we tell them homosexuality is sin, but that Jesus Christ loves you and will forgive you. But you can't come to him with pride. You can't come to him and say, well, I'm proud of who I am and you accept me who I am, or too bad, no, you got to come to him with a humble, repentant heart and say, lord, just as I am, without one plea, but that your blood was shed for me and that you bid me come to thee, O Lamb of God. I come, I come. God loves you just as you are, but he will not leave you as you are. Because he's going to change you from the inside out. But if you, you think you don't need to be changed as some of these people think, you know, they're proud of what they are, they'll die and go to hell like that. Somebody's got to challenge them.
Revelation of Wrongdoing and God's Saving Grace Through Jesus Christ
You all may, may have heard me share this before, but I tell you, when folks, when I got saved, I remember there were some things that just kept rolling over and over in my heart and mind like great waves of revelation. And I would hear this in my heart repeatedly. One of the things I'd hear in my heart repeatedly, oh, God, I've been so wrong about everything, and you are right about everything. I mean, that's the revelation we've got to come to, that we are wrong and God is right, that we are wrong, and the Bible, the word of God is right, That he is righteous, and without him, we are wicked. And, you know, again, the other thing that kept me wrong rolling over and over and over in my heart, that gave me such joy, I mean, I get emotional thinking about it today, nearly 50 years later, oh, God, I was in trouble and didn't even know it because I was in danger of dying and going to hell and didn't even know it. the analogy I've likened it to is having on a blindfold and having somebody smile and laugh and tell you they've got a great surprise for you and they've got wonderful things for you, and they lead you to the edge of a cliff. And here you are, blindfolded, smiling, thinking that the person who's led you there is your friend. And you don't even know that you're at the edge of a cliff. And that person who's pretended to be your friend, like the devil, will pretend to be your friend, can't wait to push you over the edge. And suddenly a hero, a champion, comes along and rips the blindfold off of your eyes and pulls you back from the brink, from the abyss, but allows you to look over and see where you were headed, that you were in trouble and you didn't even know it because you had blinders on and you couldn't see it. But then, then he reveals to you, this is where you were, this is what was in store for you. Man. And that champion, that hero who pulls you back and then shows you exactly where you were, you owe, everything to that person. Well, that person is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the one who snatched us as brands from the burning. He is the one who pulled us back from the brink. He is the one who snatched us away from the abyss and then revealed to us what the devil had in mind for us. How can we not be grateful? And how can we not want the people who oppose God and oppose themselves to know the love of God that we have experienced? How could we not? How could we not speak the truth in love to them? That no matter how they take it, how could we not?
The Truth Tour: Unveiling America's History of Opposition to Slavery and Racism
You know, You all know I've been doing, a truth tour. I've got events at Turning Point USA in Detroit, and I'll be going to Oklahoma City after that. And, I've got a couple of events here and. And, they just keep coming in. So if you'd like for me to come to your church, your organization, your business, and speak to your people, at the Truth Tour event, the truth about American History. it's called the Truth Tour. Facts about American History. You were never taught the untold truth about American history. Well, one of the things I talk about is the fact that the United States of America had opposition to the mistreatment of people of African ancestry since the first group arrived here. Now, folks, listen to this and please hear me well. And I don't have time, to say everything I could say about this today, but I'll share a little bit, little of it with you. But what I'm going to tell you is the absolute, undeniable truth. And yet it is something that you almost never hear anyone talk about, that, you almost never hear anyone give emphasis to when these idiots run around and describe our country as a white supremacist country and as a racist country, and this, that and the other. There has never been a time, not only in the United States of America, but even before the Declaration of Independence, there has never been a time when, just as there were those who wanted to mistreat, to discriminate against, to enslave African people, because, of course, they were brought here as first indentured servants and then brought here as slaves. There has never been a time when, just as there were people who were doing that, there were people who were vehemently and passionately opposing it. There's never been a time. So then when you talk about, you know, slavery and racism as if there was just the country, just monolithic in, in. In adopt, adapting to adopting, embracing racism and treating people of African descent, like they were a subhuman. That's just America. That's a lie out of the pit of hell. That's certainly part of America. Mainly the elites and the people who were benefiting from forced cheap labor. But the average person didn't have any interest in that. And they had to basically indoctrinate people to buy into that because it certainly wasn't in the interest of the average person who couldn't afford to own slaves. But from the very beginning there was opposition. A group of Quakers in 1688, just as the slave codes were beginning to be advanced in 1688, who said they passed something called the Petition Against Slavery. They were Pennsylvania, Quakers, German and Dutch. They passed the Petition against Slavery. It was for Pennsylvania, but it reverberated across the colonies. And they said, based upon the Golden Rule, do unto others you would have them do unto you. Slavery is wrong. It is immoral. Because you don't want to be a slave. You don't want to be owned. You don't want somebody else controlling your life and having. Whether you live or die at their. At basically at their whim. You don't want that. How can you treat another human being that way? One of the things I point out is that the Civil War, the kinetic Civil war began in 16, in 1860. Of course, you also had bleeding Kansas leading up to that. That, you know, that the battles that took place, in Kansas over the Kansas Nebraska act and whether Kansas was going to be admitted as a slave state or a free state. And then you had. Before that you had the Missouri Compromise and you had the Compromise that was in 1820, the Compromise of 1850. And on and on and on it went. But that started in 1688. And it just kept building and building and building and building and building up until the point where I think it was 1856, if I'm not mistaken, might have been a little bit earlier when Preston Brooks went over and almost beat Charles Sumner to death. But that wasn't the only incident of violence between people over the issue of slavery. In other words, folks, slavery and the mistreatment and the discrimination against people based on the color of their skin, faced vehement opposition in the colonies that would ultimately become the United States of America. And then let me add then that same issue that was first officially expressed in 1688, the opposition first officially expressed in 1688. And then later the abolitionist movement and other things happened that that same sentiment erupted in War in 1860. That was almost 200 years later. But for 200 years, there had been opposition. For 200 years, there had been opposition to the mistreatment of people of African ancestry. But you won't hear that talked about, because that's not convenient. You see, that doesn't fit the narrative. Because the narrative is to basically vilify, quote, unquote, white people and make slavery their creation and, you know, the ultimate proof of their inherent evil and all this nonsense, when in fact, slavery was something that was practiced by a very, very, very small minority of people in the United States of America. Now, that is also a fact that you won't hear. The truth of the matter is that we have a country that has been marked by nobility as much or more than we have been marked by sin. Yes, there's been sin, but there's also been noble opposition to that sin. And look, the reality is that the Declaration of Independence almost didn't get passed over the issue of slavery. And then the Constitution almost didn't get passed over the issue of slavery. Well, if America's white supremacist, America's so racist, why was there all this opposition? Why was there a civil war? Because there was the conscience of righteousness in the American people and it refused to rest. Man. you know, folks and people want to try to convince me that my patriotism and love for this country is misplaced. It's too late. I'm convicted. I talk about these things, and it just. It just stirs me on the inside that I've been blessed to be a part of this great enterprise that we call the United States of America. Because I am absolutely convinced it is the gift of almighty God and second to any people as a gift only to the gift of salvation through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Now, for a distant second, no question. But nevertheless, if you want to examine the things that God has done for mankind other than salvation through the death by crucifixion of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his descent into hell, and his glorious resurrection, if you want to ask what is the next thing that God has done for mankind that we can point to, I would say the next thing you have to point to again, admittedly, a, distant second, because you don't get Being an American citizen does not give you eternal life, so it's a distant second. But nevertheless, second is the gift and the privilege of being a citizen of the United States. Of America. You know, apparently Charlie Kirk used to say, as. I've heard many people quote him as saying this, and I'm paraphrasing a little bit, but this is the essence of it. He used to say the first thing. The first thing is the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ, of salvation through Jesus Christ and his shed blood and death on the cross for our sins and glorious resurrection. But he says, but the second thing is to make sure that we are always free to proclaim the first thing. Now, well, that's. That's. That's about as well said as it could be said. And that. That's. I mean, how can you not love a country that has spread the gospel of Jesus Christ more than any other nation on the face of the earth throughout the history of Christianity? How can you not love a country as a Christian? How could you not love a country that's done that? So, folks, in spite of all of our mistakes, and we've made plenty, God has given us a noble and righteous and decent nation that is worth preserving. We got a lot of stuff to correct. No question about that. We need to come back to a biblical understanding of the nature of life, that life and personhood begins at conception. We need to come back to a biblical understanding of gender, that there are only two. That God made men for women and women for men. That there's only one form of marriage that is a sacred union, covenant union between one man and one woman. We need to come back to the fact that God is God. He has no rivals, including the United States government. No government is God. Our founding fathers understood that there are people today who don't seem to understand that. These democratic socialists who want to do away with the Senate and do away with the Supreme Court and do away with, what is the other thing that they want to do away with? Oh, and the presidency and have one sort of politburo that runs everything with no checks and balances. What they really want to do is create an entity that will serve as God for the American people and rule over us as tyrants. That's what that formula suggests. Because what the founding Fathers created had checks and balances to make sure that no one could exercise the power of tyranny, that there's only one ultimate sovereign who has the right to determine the fate of every single human being, and that is Almighty God. Nobody else and no other government. Our founders understood that. We've got so many Americans today who don't. So, folks, we got to continue to speak against all of these Things that would take our country from shining city on a hill to a, dystopia that is languishing in the abyss. You know what I mean? Psalm 9:17 says, the wicked shall be turned into hell. And all the nations that forget God. That's what socialism wants us to do. That's what communism and Marxism wants us to do. These ideologies want us to forget God, and they want to turn us into the hellish nation that. That Russia, Soviet Union became and that China became. That North Korea became and that Cuba became and that Venezuela became. They want to turn us into a hellish nation like those nations became. Like Haiti became. No, thank you. Like so many countries in Africa became. No, thank you. That's why I say, folks, as we remember 9, 11, and we remember the martyrdom of Charlie Kirk, I say I am not an African American. I am an American. I'm not ashamed of who God made me. I'm an American of African ancestry. I don't run from that. I don't hide from that. I don't pretend otherwise. That is who God made me to be. Some of you are Americans of Irish ancestry, Americans of Italian ancestry, Americans of German ancestry, Americans of Scandinavian ancestry, Americans of Asian ancestry, Indian ancestry. But as a nation, we are Americans first. We've got to be. Because unless we are one nation under God, we will never be indivisible with liberty and justice for all. Because unrighteousness cannot produce justice. The prophet Amos said, let justice run down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream. Because the two go together, and you can't have one without the other. Just like you can't have liberty without truth. You can't have justice without righteousness. And this country has come closest to understanding and implementing that. And you and I and Charlie Kirk. And if, I go to Andrew Wommack and. And literally millions of others, and forgive me, because there are other people I probably could and should name, but I'll start a list that I'll never be able to finish anyway. But these patriots, these believers, these disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, are standing up for this great gift that God has given us. And we're never going to turn it over to the devil. Ever. So I leave you with this thought, folks. Get out and vote in November. Vote your Christian values. Those of you watching me in Virginia, don't forget that we've got two major issues on the ballot. One for unrestricted abortion put on by the demon Crats, and one that defines marriage, as homosexuality. They want to enshrine homosexuality into the Constitution. There's no such thing as a homosexual marriage, by the way. It doesn't exist. It's a fiction that human beings caught up in their own perverse lust, made up. It doesn't exist, but they want to put it in the Constitution because any law that defies the law of nature and nature's God is an unjust law. And that's exactly what that will be. And we've got to defeat it. And we can. And if we will all stand up as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, laying aside all denominational differences and racial differences and cultural differences and whatever differences the devil has concocted to try to make us think somehow we're different from everybody else. But if we will stand together as one nation under God, as one people in the Lord Jesus Christ. And by the way, when I say one nation under God, I'm including our Jewish brothers and sisters who need to stop voting for these demon crats who hate them anyway, and start voting with us Christians who love them. Stop voting for these demon crats who are promoting and justifying anti Semitism and justifying those who would destroy Israel and destroy the Jewish people. And start standing with us, we Christians, who will defend Israel to the death if necessary. And we will stand together as the people of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the people of the God of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We will stand together. We'll save this country from the demonic forces that want to destroy it. So get out and vote and vote your Christian biblical conscience and, stand against those forces of evil that are trying to, to basically drag our country into the abyss and let's keep America, the shining city on a hill that God can look upon and be pleased. Google's Email Blocking: Past Incidents and Current Struggles with Stand America
The second time this has happened. For some reason, they have decided that my emails are not worthy of arriving in your Gmail boxes. So if you're one of those people out there, you've got Gmail. I can tell you right now if you're on my list or you want to hear from me, I have a very, very difficult time communicating with you because Gmail is blocking our emails. There was a moment this, happened about two years ago, actually longer than that, about three years ago. They literally, folks, and I'm not exaggerating in the least, they literally would not deliver any email from a StandAmerica US email address. They would not deliver any of those emails to any Gmail address. And, and I'm not just talking about sending out mass emails to our entire list. I'm talking about if I tried to send you an email from my address, which my old email address was presidenttandamerica.in if I tried to send you an email from that address, I would get a pop up saying, this email cannot be delivered to a Gmail address. Literally, they would not allow me to mail to anybody who had a Gmail address. We worked around that by spending thousands of dollars and a lot of time and energy changing all of our literature to reflect the new email address which we adopted. Our email address is now stand inc.net so my email address is now president at stake standinc.net or [email protected] but now we're having a similar problem with standinc.net and, folks, forgive the inside baseball, but for those of you who've never experienced this stuff of sending out mass emails, the way it works is if, for example, you have, say, an email list of, say, 5,000 people and you decided you wanted to try to grow that email list and you went out and you rented lists. You can rent lists and buy list and that kind of thing. Now these are lists of people with whom you are prospecting. They're not your people. They, they don't may, they might not even know you. Let's say you drop that into your email system. Let's say you dropped a thousand emails into your email system. You, you sent out 6,000. So the five that you had, the 6,000 more. Well, let's just say out of that 6,000, maybe you get half of these people saying, unsubscribe, don't want to hear from you, blah, blah, blah, blah. Okay, now an email system looks at that and says, wow, these people are getting a lot of unsubscribes. They're getting. A lot of people don't want to get their email. Then they read that. That's a red flag. That's really kind of part of the business. It's not something I do, but a lot of people do it. You know, running and buying email addresses, trying to find new prospects. A lot of fundraisers do it. It's not something that we do. Which is why we don't quite understand why Gmail is targeting us. Well, I shouldn't say we don't quite understand. Let's put it this way. We know we're not doing anything wrong and yet we're getting targeted. So pray for us, because we're taking a number of actions. I just want you all to know we have written to the Federal Trade Commission because we really believe that, Gmail and Google are engaged in unfair trade practices. We've written to the Attorney General's office. We believe that they are really violating the Civil Rights act, not on the basis of race, but on the basis of basically religious liberty, because they don't like our Christian perspective. and so, you know, they've just decided it will cut us off. 65% of the people in the United States right now. 65% of us use Gmail. And think about that means they cut off an organization that is emailing people. They're likely to cut 65% of the ability to communicate. Imagine this. Imagine your telephone company contacted you and says, hey, Mark, we're going to stop you from using our telephone system because we don't like what you stand for. So you can't call your friends, you can't call your family. And I know it's not quite a one on one analogy, but realize how ubiquitous email is. Everybody communicates by email these days. And Even though we probably get more emails than we want, we still communicate with email to the people that we want to talk to directly. Imagine Gmail saying, well you can't do that, we won't let you. Or imagine imagine your telephone company saying that. Or imagine them saying, well yeah, you can make phone calls but we're not going to let you call anybody that is a customer of ours. Imagine that. Which is exactly what Gmail is doing. You go to pick up the phone, you try to call, you know, your friend Billy Bob and a message comes on says your call to Billy Bob may not be completed. And then we'll say, because we don't like you. But you know, that's what it is. So pray for us folks, because we're not, we're not going to take this sitting down. I mean we're just not, I'm not putting up with it. I know Google is a jar, is a gargantuan trillion dollar company, but I tell you what, they're not God, you know, compared to God they're like a little pimple on somebody's baby finger. Compared to God they're not even that big. They might think they're God, but they're not. So pray for us because little old us, just trying to bring Americans together across racial and cultural lines and calling out the leftist insanity and hatred of our country and attempts to divide us and attempts to destroy our country from within. Calling all of that out apparently is something Google doesn't like because here again, second time we're dealing with this crazy. And by the way you say, well what about the other email addresses you mailed to? Night and day difference. Night and day difference, folks. The other email addresses we mail to sometimes say for example with Yahoo, we will get 20, 25, 26, 27% which is a great open rate. Google sometimes is basically zero. Which means they're not delivering those emails at all. They're not just delivering the spam spam, they're blocking them. And by the way, that's what they did before. They blocked our emails completely and totally blocked them this time. But they were, they gave us, they didn't tell us why and they didn't tell us what to try to do about it, what to correct. They just blocked them. Now this time they're not telling us, but we know they're blocking them because we know we're putting our own Gmail addresses in and we don't get our own emails. Now think about that. So just wanted you all to be aware of the challenge we face. I don't say this, by the way, to wine. I say it to solicit your prayers and your support. Because this is what we're up against, folks.
Recounting Political Campaigns and the Intense Hatred from the Left
When I was running for Lieutenant governor of Virginia, I won the Republican nomination and things were really looking good. in October of the election year, I was appointed head of Ralph Northam, you know, the reprobate who ultimately became governor, who famously said, well, if a child is born alive, which you intended to abort it, then the mother can get together with the doctor and they can decide what they're going to do about it. In other words, if they decide to kill the child, that's fine. Well, he had Silicon Valley people dump a bunch of money on him, and he used that money to basically, portray, a bunch of lies about me. And when we, of course, tried to get the press to kind of question him, they weren't interested in that. And I'll never forget it, I had a wonderful advisor who really helped me in that campaign. And as we were, sort of watching my lead erode as money poured in to try to define me, of course, as a nutcase, a right wing crazy and all that, this person came to me, he said, you know, I hope you understand these people don't just disagree with you. When he was talking about the media and the left, he said, they hate you. They, they hate you with a passion. I mean, they would kill you if they could. That's how much they hate you. And, you know, when he said that, I was startled by it because I'd never really thought about it that way. But I've learned over the years, folks, he was absolutely right. It's not just me. They hate you, too. They hate all the talk show hosts on American Family Radio. They hate the Wildmans, of course, they hate Donald Trump because he's a very big target. But they hate all of us who stand on biblical worldview, traditional values. They hate our guts. They want us dead. And if they can't kill us, then they'll simply destroy us if they can. But what they don't know is greater is he that's in us than he that's in the world. And that we are more than conquerors to him that loved us.
The Message Endures: Martyrdom, Truth, and the Call to Stand Firm
I mean, look at this, folks. Last year around this time, I was due at a Truth and Liberty conference with Charlie Kirk and a number of others, and Charlie Kirk never showed up because they killed him. But, you know, you can kill the dreamer, but you can't kill the dream. And you can kill the messenger, but you can't kill the message. Charlie Kirk's message is resounding more powerfully now than it did when he was alive. Turning Point USA has grown by leaps and bounds. So, you know, I often say I don't care what they think about me. I don't care what they say about me. I don't care how much they hate me. I don't care what they try to do to me. I'm not going to hate them in return and I'm not going to try to harm them in return or kill them in return. I'm not talking about legitimate self defense now, but I'm certainly not going to be plotting to hurt somebody or harm somebody or encouraging anybody to do that. But look, if they kill me, it's a promotion. It's a graduation. So I'm not going to stop saying the things that I say, and standing for the things that I stand for out of fear of what these people are going to do to me. Charlie Kirk didn't and he ended up giving his life. And yes, he is a legitimate Christian martyr. I don't care what anybody says. Charlie Kirk is a legitimate Christian martyr who gave his life for the cause of Christ as well as for our religious and First Amendment liberties. Freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of conscience. Because he died speaking his mind with love to people who hated him. Poor. as a matter of fact, now, by the time you're hearing this, this was last week, I was at the same conference last week and we had Lucas Miles, who is the Vice president of Turning Point USA and president of Turning Point Faith. He was there. he wasn't scheduled to be there last year. Charlie Kirk was, but Lucas Miles was there and spoke poignantly about martyrdom. And you know, I've said for a long time I really believe that martyrdom is a calling.
Speaking Truth in Love Despite Opposition
I believe that God calls some of his people to be martyred to give their lives for him. So I don't believe most people ever have to be concerned about being martyred for the cause of Christ. But I believe that every Christian is supposed to be willing and every Christian is supposed to be ready. He that loses his life for my sake will find it. But he that finds his life will lose it. In other words, you hold on to this little fleshly life you've got and you guard it for dear life and you compromise and you refuse to take a stand for Jesus Christ. And you don't want to offend anybody. You don't want to get Anybody upset. You want everybody happy at Thanksgiving table and all that. And I'm not saying we go around looking to offend people, because that's not what we do. We're speaking the truth in love. But look, folks, I said you can put. You could put ice cream on it, put chocolate syrup on it, put a cherry on the top, put whipped cream on that and put chocolate sprinkles on that. You could put all that on the truth and serve it up and people still hate you for it and spit it right back in your face. There's nothing you can do to make it palatable. The only thing you can do is speak the truth and have faith that the Holy Spirit will minister that truth to the hearts of people whose consciences are seared over with a hot iron and whose hearts are hardened, but that it will penetrate their hearts and ultimately find root and find soil in their hearts that will grow up into eternal life.
Continuing the Mission and Bearing the Cross for Faith and Country
Hey, you know what, folks? my backdrop just went away. Now, that is terrible. But it happened. And there's nothing I can do about it, except at this point, continue. And that is exactly what I'm going to do. it'll come back up here shortly. But look, we have got to take a stand for these things. And no matter what the cost, we've got to do it because Jesus Christ has paid the ultimate cost for us. And out of commitment and loyalty to him, we must be prepared to pay the cost that is required of us in order to be faithful to him, whatever that cost is. You know that old song says, must Jesus bear the cross alone and all the world go free? No, There's a cross for everyone and there's a cross for me. The consecrated cross I'll bear till death shall set me free and then go home My crown to wear for there's a crown for me now this is a different song, but to me it is really part and parcel of that same sentiment. Must I be carried to the skies on flowery beds of ease While others fought to win the prize and sail through bloody seas? No, I must fight if I would gain Increase my courage, Lord, I'll bear the sorrow Endure the pain Supported by your word.
Ultimate Victory in God and Reflections on 9/11 and Islamic Terrorism
We just have to stand up. We just have to step up and speak up no matter what. We just have to do it. And we believe God. For the the ultimate victory is ours. And nobody can take that away from us. Nobody can stop us. We ultimately can bet cannot be overcome. Greater is he that's in us than he that's in the world. And so, you know, reflecting on Charlie Kirk, and by the way, it's interesting. Charlie Kirk's assassinated on the day before we, commemorate one of the greatest, one of the most infamous, infamous, I should say, rather than greatest, one of the most infamous days in American history. 9, 11, when, a handful of, vicious Islamic terrorists brought down the World Trade Towers, flew a plane into our Pentagon, tried to fly one into the capital, but ultimately brave Americans stopped them from doing it. But these vicious, demonic Islamic terrorists, who are still at work, by the way, tried to destroy our country. They were trying to bring our country down economically, politically and militarily. Little did they know it was going to take a whole lot more than that. For the first time, we suffered an attack on our homeland. For the first time, we saw Americans killed by the enemy in a massive attack right here on our homeland.
Speaking Truth in Love, Understanding Charlie Kirk's Legacy and Martyrdom
And let me just say once again, folks, we speak the truth in love. We do not speak it in hatred. I know that sometimes the things that one can say come across as harsh. And I realize that our enemies, again, will always interpret that, or even if they don't interpret it this way, they will always characterize it as hatred because it helps them see. We'll say, you know, E.W. jackson, he's a hater. Well, that does them good. And, and they think that also helps the people who they're trying to persuade to be on their side to do so and to feel good about doing so. so this, this, this young man who killed, Charlie Kirk said, he grew tired of his hatred. Well, I don't believe that there was a. There was a scintilla of hatred in Charlie, Kirk's entire being. I really don't. And I didn't know him, but I met him. But a lot of people that I know knew him and knew him well, and there was not an ounce of hatred in him. But of course, that's the way they characterized him, because it's much, much easier to oppose him and to get other people to oppose him. If you can characterize him as some kind of monster, which he was not, I believe Charlie Kirk is in the arms of the Lord right now, enjoying his rewards that he's heard. Well done, good and faithful servant. You've been faithful over a few things. I'll make you ruler over many. Why? Because Charlie Kirk was perfect? No, of course not. But because he served God, because he was born again and made in the image and likeness of Jesus Christ, given a brand new regenerated spirit that was perfect as Charles Wesley said we can say of him, of course we can say this of all of us. A charge to keep. I have a, God to glorify, who sent his son my soul to save and fit it for the sky to serve the present age.
America's Foundation: Faith, Family, and Internal Resilience Against Enemies
My calling to fulfill, old man, all my powers engage to do my master's will. That's what Charlie Kirk set out to do, and that's what he did. But these vicious terrorists on, on September 11th came here to try to undo everything that God has done. I said, you know, we've got them within our own country, people. Everything God is for, they're against. And everything God is against, they're for. And they thought America is going to be brought down because they're against everything America represents. And they didn't understand you could not bring America down by destroying the World Trade Towers or destroying the Pentagon, or even if they had succeeded in destroying the Capitol, thank God they didn't. But you could not bring America down doing that, because America is more than those things. America is a nation built on faith, in God, on family. we are resilient because of who we are on the inside, not because of what we have on the outside. Man, I need to say that one again, that's hot off the Holy Ghost presses. We are resilient because of who we are on the inside, not because of what we have on the outside. And they did not understand that. And frankly, all the enemies of the United States still do not understand that. And again, I, know I will not ever get credit for loving Muslims, even though in the name of Jesus, I do, because that is the love of God that's been shed abroad in my heart and in all of our hearts by the Holy Spirit. I hate Islam. As I've said before, I hate it because it's a lie. It's a false system. It is based on a false prophet teaching people to follow a false God. I hate it. I have no empathy, sympathy for it whatsoever. But I love those Muslims. I love those Muslims because they're caught in the web of, the greatest liar who ever lived, Satan. They're caught in his web. And he used Muhammad to basically convince people that what he was offering was something that would, would be good for them. You know, you kill a bunch of Christians and kill a bunch of Americans, and you're going to. You're going to go to heaven and you're going to have 72 virgins waiting. I mean, it makes me sad. It really does. As well as godly angry that people buy into those kinds of ridiculous lies and that people sell those kinds of ridiculous lies. They sell those lies to people because they know that people will buy them. But you and I have got to be tellers of truth. Even though again, speaking the truth is going to get draw a lot of hatred and a lot of venom and folks, it'll even draw a knife or bullet. But it must be said. It must be said. Because how in the world else are the people who are caught up in those lies ever going to hear the truth if we don't tell them?
The True Measure of Love: Speaking Truth for Souls Despite Offense
As you all have heard me say many times, I'd rather somebody get so mad at me they could just absolutely annihilate me on the spot, but end up thinking about what I've said and ultimately come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and see me in heaven with a great big old smile on their face and say, thank you. Thank you that you didn't care about offending me. Thank you. That you didn't care what I thought. Thank you. You didn't care about my feelings, you cared about my soul. And you loved me enough to tell me what I wanted to hear when I didn't want to hear it. Thank you. Because as a result of your courage, I'm in heaven right now. And had you not done that, who knows, I might have, well ended up in hell. You want to tell me who truly loves people? The person who bows and kowtows and avoids offending anybody. Because, you don't want, you want people to like you and just send them straight to hell liking you or the person who says, you know what, sure, I'd rather people like me than not like me. But compared to the value of your soul, I don't care if you hate me for what I have to say, I'm gonna say it because I'm fighting for you, not against you. Let me see, folks, we're fighting for Muslims, not against them. Now, we're against that ideology and we have to defend ourselves against any attempt to harm our people. And we're going to. But when we speak the truth in love, we're fighting for these Muslims, not against them. We're fighting for homosexuals when we tell them homosexuality is sin, but that Jesus Christ loves you and will forgive you. But you can't come to him with pride. You can't come to him and say, well, I'm proud of who I am and you accept me who I am, or too bad, no, you got to come to him with a humble, repentant heart and say, lord, just as I am, without one plea, but that your blood was shed for me and that you bid me come to thee, O Lamb of God. I come, I come. God loves you just as you are, but he will not leave you as you are. Because he's going to change you from the inside out. But if you, you think you don't need to be changed as some of these people think, you know, they're proud of what they are, they'll die and go to hell like that. Somebody's got to challenge them.
Revelation of Wrongdoing and God's Saving Grace Through Jesus Christ
You all may, may have heard me share this before, but I tell you, when folks, when I got saved, I remember there were some things that just kept rolling over and over in my heart and mind like great waves of revelation. And I would hear this in my heart repeatedly. One of the things I'd hear in my heart repeatedly, oh, God, I've been so wrong about everything, and you are right about everything. I mean, that's the revelation we've got to come to, that we are wrong and God is right, that we are wrong, and the Bible, the word of God is right, That he is righteous, and without him, we are wicked. And, you know, again, the other thing that kept me wrong rolling over and over and over in my heart, that gave me such joy, I mean, I get emotional thinking about it today, nearly 50 years later, oh, God, I was in trouble and didn't even know it because I was in danger of dying and going to hell and didn't even know it. the analogy I've likened it to is having on a blindfold and having somebody smile and laugh and tell you they've got a great surprise for you and they've got wonderful things for you, and they lead you to the edge of a cliff. And here you are, blindfolded, smiling, thinking that the person who's led you there is your friend. And you don't even know that you're at the edge of a cliff. And that person who's pretended to be your friend, like the devil, will pretend to be your friend, can't wait to push you over the edge. And suddenly a hero, a champion, comes along and rips the blindfold off of your eyes and pulls you back from the brink, from the abyss, but allows you to look over and see where you were headed, that you were in trouble and you didn't even know it because you had blinders on and you couldn't see it. But then, then he reveals to you, this is where you were, this is what was in store for you. Man. And that champion, that hero who pulls you back and then shows you exactly where you were, you owe, everything to that person. Well, that person is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the one who snatched us as brands from the burning. He is the one who pulled us back from the brink. He is the one who snatched us away from the abyss and then revealed to us what the devil had in mind for us. How can we not be grateful? And how can we not want the people who oppose God and oppose themselves to know the love of God that we have experienced? How could we not? How could we not speak the truth in love to them? That no matter how they take it, how could we not?
The Truth Tour: Unveiling America's History of Opposition to Slavery and Racism
You know, You all know I've been doing, a truth tour. I've got events at Turning Point USA in Detroit, and I'll be going to Oklahoma City after that. And, I've got a couple of events here and. And, they just keep coming in. Well, one of the things I talk about is the fact that the United States of America had opposition to the mistreatment of people of African ancestry since the first group arrived here. But what I'm going to tell you is the absolute, undeniable truth. And yet it is something that you almost never hear anyone talk about, that, you almost never hear anyone give emphasis to when these idiots run around and describe our country as a white supremacist country and as a racist country, and this, that and the other. There has never been a time, not only in the United States of America, but even before the Declaration of Independence, there has never been a time when, just as there were those who wanted to mistreat, to discriminate against, to enslave African people, because, of course, they were brought here as first indentured servants and then brought here as slaves. There has never been a time when, just as there were people who were doing that, there were people who were vehemently and passionately opposing it. There's never been a time. So then when you talk about, you know, slavery and racism as if there was just the country, just monolithic in, in. In adopt, adapting to adopting, embracing racism and treating people of African descent, like they were a subhuman. That's just America. That's a lie out of the pit of hell. That's certainly part of America. Mainly the elites and the people who were benefiting from forced cheap labor. But the average person didn't have any interest in that. And they had to basically indoctrinate people to buy into that because it certainly wasn't in the interest of the average person who couldn't afford to own slaves. But from the very beginning there was opposition. A group of Quakers in 1688, just as the slave codes were beginning to be advanced in 1688, who said they passed something called the Petition Against Slavery. They were Pennsylvania, Quakers, German and Dutch. They passed the Petition against Slavery. It was for Pennsylvania, but it reverberated across the colonies. And they said, based upon the Golden Rule, do unto others you would have them do unto you. Slavery is wrong. It is immoral. Because you don't want to be a slave. You don't want to be owned. You don't want somebody else controlling your life and having. Whether you live or die at their. At basically at their whim. You don't want that. How can you treat another human being that way? One of the things I point out is that the Civil War, the kinetic Civil war began in 16, in 1860. Of course, you also had bleeding Kansas leading up to that. That, you know, that the battles that took place, in Kansas over the Kansas Nebraska act and whether Kansas was going to be admitted as a slave state or a free state. And then you had. Before that you had the Missouri Compromise and you had the Compromise that was in 1820, the Compromise of 1850. And on and on and on it went. But that started in 1688. And it just kept building and building and building and building and building up until the point where I think it was 1856, if I'm not mistaken, might have been a little bit earlier when Preston Brooks went over and almost beat Charles Sumner to death. But that wasn't the only incident of violence between people over the issue of slavery. In other words, folks, slavery and the mistreatment and the discrimination against people based on the color of their skin, faced vehement opposition in the colonies that would ultimately become the United States of America. And then let me add then that same issue that was first officially expressed in 1688, the opposition first officially expressed in 1688. And then later the abolitionist movement and other things happened that that same sentiment erupted in War in 1860. That was almost 200 years later. But for 200 years, there had been opposition. For 200 years, there had been opposition to the mistreatment of people of African ancestry. But you won't hear that talked about, because that's not convenient. You see, that doesn't fit the narrative. Because the narrative is to basically vilify, quote, unquote, white people and make slavery their creation and, you know, the ultimate proof of their inherent evil and all this nonsense, when in fact, slavery was something that was practiced by a very, very, very small minority of people in the United States of America. Now, that is also a fact that you won't hear. The truth of the matter is that we have a country that has been marked by nobility as much or more than we have been marked by sin. Yes, there's been sin, but there's also been noble opposition to that sin. And look, the reality is that the Declaration of Independence almost didn't get passed over the issue of slavery. And then the Constitution almost didn't get passed over the issue of slavery. Well, if America's white supremacist, America's so racist, why was there all this opposition? Why was there a civil war? Because there was the conscience of righteousness in the American people and it refused to rest. Man. you know, folks and people want to try to convince me that my patriotism and love for this country is misplaced. It's too late. I'm convicted. I talk about these things, and it just. It just stirs me on the inside that I've been blessed to be a part of this great enterprise that we call the United States of America. Because I am absolutely convinced it is the gift of almighty God and second to any people as a gift only to the gift of salvation through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Now, for a distant second, no question. But nevertheless, if you want to examine the things that God has done for mankind other than salvation through the death by crucifixion of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his descent into hell, and his glorious resurrection, if you want to ask what is the next thing that God has done for mankind that we can point to, I would say the next thing you have to point to again, admittedly, a, distant second, because you don't get Being an American citizen does not give you eternal life, so it's a distant second. But nevertheless, second is the gift and the privilege of being a citizen of the United States. Of America. You know, apparently Charlie Kirk used to say, as. I've heard many people quote him as saying this, and I'm paraphrasing a little bit, but this is the essence of it. He used to say the first thing. The first thing is the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ, of salvation through Jesus Christ and his shed blood and death on the cross for our sins and glorious resurrection. But he says, but the second thing is to make sure that we are always free to proclaim the first thing. Now, well, that's. That's. That's about as well said as it could be said. And that. That's. I mean, how can you not love a country that has spread the gospel of Jesus Christ more than any other nation on the face of the earth throughout the history of Christianity? How can you not love a country as a Christian? How could you not love a country that's done that? So, folks, in spite of all of our mistakes, and we've made plenty, God has given us a noble and righteous and decent nation that is worth preserving. We got a lot of stuff to correct. No question about that. We need to come back to a biblical understanding of the nature of life, that life and personhood begins at conception. We need to come back to a biblical understanding of gender, that there are only two. That God made men for women and women for men. That there's only one form of marriage that is a sacred union, covenant union between one man and one woman. We need to come back to the fact that God is God. He has no rivals, including the United States government. No government is God. Our founding fathers understood that there are people today who don't seem to understand that. These democratic socialists who want to do away with the Senate and do away with the Supreme Court and do away with, what is the other thing that they want to do away with? Oh, and the presidency and have one sort of politburo that runs everything with no checks and balances. What they really want to do is create an entity that will serve as God for the American people and rule over us as tyrants. That's what that formula suggests. Because what the founding Fathers created had checks and balances to make sure that no one could exercise the power of tyranny, that there's only one ultimate sovereign who has the right to determine the fate of every single human being, and that is Almighty God. Nobody else and no other government. Our founders understood that. We've got so many Americans today who don't. So, folks, we got to continue to speak against all of these Things that would take our country from shining city on a hill to a, dystopia that is languishing in the abyss. You know what I mean? Psalm 9:17 says, the wicked shall be turned into hell. And all the nations that forget God. That's what socialism wants us to do. That's what communism and Marxism wants us to do. These ideologies want us to forget God, and they want to turn us into the hellish nation that. That Russia, Soviet Union became and that China became. That North Korea became and that Cuba became and that Venezuela became. They want to turn us into a hellish nation like those nations became. Like Haiti became. No, thank you. Like so many countries in Africa became. No, thank you. That's why I say, folks, as we remember 9, 11, and we remember the martyrdom of Charlie Kirk, I say I am not an African American. I am an American. I'm not ashamed of who God made me. I'm an American of African ancestry. I don't run from that. I don't hide from that. I don't pretend otherwise. That is who God made me to be. Some of you are Americans of Irish ancestry, Americans of Italian ancestry, Americans of German ancestry, Americans of Scandinavian ancestry, Americans of Asian ancestry, Indian ancestry. But as a nation, we are Americans first. We've got to be. Because unless we are one nation under God, we will never be indivisible with liberty and justice for all. Because unrighteousness cannot produce justice. The prophet Amos said, let justice run down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream. Because the two go together, and you can't have one without the other. Just like you can't have liberty without truth. You can't have justice without righteousness. And this country has come closest to understanding and implementing that. And you and I and Charlie Kirk. And if, I go to Andrew Wommack and. And literally millions of others, and forgive me, because there are other people I probably could and should name, but I'll start a list that I'll never be able to finish anyway. But these patriots, these believers, these disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, are standing up for this great gift that God has given us. And we're never going to turn it over to the devil. Ever. So I leave you with this thought, folks. Get out and vote in November. Vote your Christian values. Those of you watching me in Virginia, don't forget that we've got two major issues on the ballot. One for unrestricted abortion put on by the demon Crats, and one that defines marriage, as homosexuality. They want to enshrine homosexuality into the Constitution. There's no such thing as a homosexual marriage, by the way. It doesn't exist. It's a fiction that human beings caught up in their own perverse lust, made up. It doesn't exist, but they want to put it in the Constitution because any law that defies the law of nature and nature's God is an unjust law. And that's exactly what that will be. And we've got to defeat it. And we can. And if we will all stand up as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, laying aside all denominational differences and racial differences and cultural differences and whatever differences the devil has concocted to try to make us think somehow we're different from everybody else. But if we will stand together as one nation under God, as one people in the Lord Jesus Christ. And by the way, when I say one nation under God, I'm including our Jewish brothers and sisters who need to stop voting for these demon crats who hate them anyway, and start voting with us Christians who love them. Stop voting for these demon crats who are promoting and justifying anti Semitism and justifying those who would destroy Israel and destroy the Jewish people. And start standing with us, we Christians, who will defend Israel to the death if necessary. And we will stand together as the people of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the people of the God of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We will stand together. We'll save this country from the demonic forces that want to destroy it. So get out and vote and vote your Christian biblical conscience and, stand against those forces of evil that are trying to, to basically drag our country into the abyss and let's keep America, the shining city on a hill that God can look upon and be pleased. And the power that works in us is power that's greater than Google. They don't know it, but we know it. So pray for us all and you all stand firm and stand fast. As I've always said and will continue to say, stand up, step up, speak up, refuse to back up because we cannot be defeated if we will not quit because we are on God's side. God bless everybody.
