Introduction and Concerns Regarding Iran's Threat to America and Global Stability

Because the voice of American Family Radio is critically important to the future of this country. I mean that. I believe that with all my heart. Because there are very few. Now, we're not the only one. I won't say we're the only one, but there are very few voices of, uh, clarity, of, uh, biblical worldview that have unfettered access to the American people. In other words, there's not somebody censoring us and saying, uh, you can't say that. You can't say this, you can't say that. That doesn't happen here. As long as we are espousing what thus saith the Lord, there is no censorship whatsoever. And I praise God for that. That I can tell you the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me God. Well, look, folks, I, um, want to talk to you today about September 17, Constitution Day. But before I get to that, something very important. I want to say to you a couple of things, actually. One is I went to the pump, in fact, on the very day that I recorded this program, and gasoline was over $5 a gallon. $5 a gallon. Not. I have a truck. I burned high test in my truck. But folks, I've never seen gas prices that high. I don't think I, uh, paid prices that high. You think, well, wow. What are you, what are you thinking with you. You are, uh, uh, you know, we know that this is primarily. Although we're hearing that this is at this point, not so much the result of the Iranian war, because more and more oil is coming through the Strait of Hormuz, and the President has got Iran locked down so that they're not making money off their oil, but a lot of oil is flowing to the Strait of Hormuz. That this is rather an issue with Saudi Arabia. And, and the attacks by Iran against Saudi Arabia and their skittishness, and in addition to that, what's happening in Russia, Ukraine attacking the energy infrastructure of Russia, that those two factors are really what's driving prices up right now, because throughout the Iranian war, I've never seen prices this high. But let me say this. This is my senator about that. And I've said to you all before, it is not as if I'm some multimillionaire or billionaire with just, you know, so much money that it just doesn't really matter to me. It matters. It affects our budget. But here's what I say to President Trump about this whole thing. Finish it. Finish it. Finish it. You know, we've been putting up with these people for 50 years, with threats of nuclear war, paying for terrorists to attack our country, assassination plots against our president, against our public officials, attacks, uh, on our military in Iraq and in other parts of the world. I mean, enough is enough. Finish it. And look, do I like paying over $5 a gallon for gasoline? You better believe I don't. But I'll tell you something, folks. I'd pay $50 a gallon for gasoline if it got rid of these. This regime. I mean it. I mean it. They've got to go. Now. I'm not talking about the Iranian people. I'm talking about this rogue regime, this apocalyptic cult of people who think that somehow they're going to destroy Israel and destroy America and usher in the Mahdi, the. The. The. The worldwide caliphate, and they're going to rule the world. They're nuts and they're dangerous, and they've got to be stopped.
Call to Action: Annihilate the Iranian Regime and the Importance of Truth
And it's time to end it. I mean, they're attacking our allies. They're still attacking places where America has bases or resources or vulnerabilities. So apparently their ability to project some power has still not been eliminated. It's time to eliminate it now. Uh, the president has threatened that if they don't make a deal, he's threatening annihilation. I'll tell you what. I think it's time to get beyond threats. I think it's time to annihilate this regime. I think it's time to just reduce the regime to rubble. And it's sad that the Iranian people, who I understand are very. I, uh, mean, obviously you've got some radicals among the Iranian people. We know that. But I understand the Iranian people as a whole are very rational, very reasonable people, that they really don't agree with this fanatical stuff, that this Ayatollah and his bunch of puppets are putting down or that the IRGC is trying to enforce, they don't agree with. Now, I'm not Iranian. I'm not in Iran. I don't know. I'm just. Based on reports I'm getting, that's what we're hearing. So let's just destroy this regime and get it over with and get back to normal. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to have to pay $50 a gallon for gasoline. I don't want to pay 5. But as I've said before, I'd rather that than news that a nuclear bomb is headed my way. And make no mistake about it, that's exactly what Iran wants to do. Who was it who said. I can't remember exactly who coined this phrase or this principle, but it might have been Margaret Thatcher, but I'm not sure. When your enemy says he wants to kill you, believe him, believe him. That, uh, may be a slight paraphrase, but it's the point. It's the same point these Iranians say, death to America. They want the great Satan America brought down. We better believe it that that's what they want. Not that that's what they're going to accomplish, but that's what they want. I mean, think about it, folks. What was it? I forget the exact number. Was it nine? Terrorists brought our country to a complete standstill. I mean, they shut down the stock market, they shut down the government, and they shut down the economy. Not an airplane flew. I think it was for about a week. And they just. Basically, they had four targets. They only attacked three of them. Three of the four. The World Trade Towers and the Pentagon. But think of the damage that they did. Imagine the damage a nuclear weapon would do to our country. So, as an American citizen, uh, look, like I said, I'm not a millionaire or billionaire. And, you know, $5 a gallon, plus, you certainly feel it. You definitely feel it. But you know what? I love my country more than comfort. What's the song say in America? The Beautiful. The line that goes. Oh, beautiful for, um, heroes. Um, uh. How's it go? It's shown in liberating strife. But here's the line that I really want to focus on. Who more than self their country loved. Who more than self their country loved. That's the way I feel. Yeah, it makes me uncomfortable financially, But I love my country more than I love financial comfort. And I love my country more than I love. I don't love money at all, But I love my country more than the creature Comforts that money can buy and more than the relief, uh, that low gas prices afford me, M. So I say, Mr. President, banish it, please. Finish it, stop talking about it and finish it. Uh, and let's get this mess behind us once and for all. Maybe the Iranian people will step in and out of the rubble will come at least a rational state. I mean, it'll still be a Muslim state, but at least a rational state that we can work with. I mean, there are other rational players in the Muslim world that we can work with. Don't get me wrong. I still don't trust Islam. But it's here, and we're not going to wipe it off the face of the earth, nor should we try. And so the same way we did with the Soviet Union, we've just got to manage that relationship as best we can and work with those who seem to be willing to work with us. And Iran is not one of those countries. So that was the first thing, uh, I wanted to get out, to get on the table. Um, the second thing I really want to mention to you before I get onto the Constitution, is to solicit your prayers, because I think I've explained this to you all before. Uh, Google and Gmail, uh, are really creating major problems for me and for my organization. And I have found out after having had an emergency board meeting that I'm not the only one. They're hurting a lot of organizations, a lot of people. I had a dear friend of mine I know who's got a much larger organization than I do, said we struggle with them constantly, constantly, where they're basically, in one way or another, sabotaging what we're trying to do. Uh, so pray for us. Because, you know, Google is not bigger than God. They may think they are, but they're not. I think I said to you, the Lord spoke to me a while ago, not that long ago, just really about a week ago, and said to me, we need to pray for God's prophetic intervention in the realm of politics or political and social matters, for God's miraculous intervention. We need to pray for their confusion, that they wouldn't be able to affect their plans, that they couldn't agree, that they just can't get it together. We need to pray for their defusion, that they would become despairing and depressed and disheartened and discouraged and throw their hands up and just become so thoroughly frustrated that they can't be effective. And then we've got to pay for the refusal of their money backers to continue to open up their bank accounts, that they begin to say, you know What? You lost $64 million in that Virginia debacle where we spent all that money trying to get a referendum passed, and the court strike it down as unconstitutional, and may there be many, many more circumstances like that. We need to be praying for that. Some refer to these as imprecatory prayers. We're not praying for people to die. We're not praying for people to be injured. We're not pr. You know, any horrible thing to happen to somebody. We're simply praying that their nefarious, wicked, despicable plans for this country cannot be affected or effective. We're praying that, like what God did with the people of Mount Seir and, uh, the Ammonites and the Moabites when they were coming to attack Israel. And God told the people through Jehoshaphat, set yourselves. Actually through the prophet, I think it was Ahaziah, set yourself stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. You will not need to fight this battle, but set yourself stand still. I believe if we will set ourselves, if we will stand fast on the word of God, stand still and be unmovable. I really believe God will miraculously deliver us, uh, from these forces that are rising against us. The forces of Marxism and socialism and communism and any other ism one can think of, including Islamism and Hinduism and Buddhism and whatever it is, whether it's political or social or spiritual. All of these.
The Rise of Harmful Ideologies and Movements Threatening the Nation's Foundations
These horrible movements, m that are gripping our country. The sexual perversion movement. I call it the, uh, SPCG movement, the sexual perversion child grooming movement. That all of them will suffer ignominious collapse. That they would collapse in on each other. That they would turn on each other and devour each other so that they can't carry out the plans they have for our beloved country. God woke me up early in the morning and told me it is time to pray for his prophetic and miraculous intervention in the affairs of politics, in the social and political affairs of this nation. And m. I'm believing God for that. I'm praying for that. Yes, God, intervene. Oh God, intervene now. Save now. We pray. And I don't believe God would tell me to pray those prayers and to share with others praying those prayers without his intention that he's going to answer that prayer. You know, when God tells you to pray something, pray that. Yeah, pray that. Because what God is saying is, I've already written the solution. It's already done in heaven. Your word, oh God, is forever settled in heaven. It's already done. You pray that prayer. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Glory to God. So please join me in praying for God's prophetic and miraculous intervention into our political and social affairs. That the enemy will be confused, that the enemy will be diffused, that the enemy will be refused. And by the way, here's the fourth thing God told me to pray for. And that the awakening that so many are experiencing would explode in America. And that the people of God would rise up, uh, like a, um, mighty army, and vote and stand with boldness unlike, um, anything we've ever seen before. Glory to God. I'm believing for that. I am believing for that. And we need it because we cannot afford to turn over the Senate and House to a bunch of Marxists. And that's exactly what a Democrat victory would be because these demon crats have become. They, they really are Marxists and communists and socialists. Most of them won't call themselves that because they're not sure the American people will accept that. But again, the top presidential candidate for the demon crat party is the demoness herself. I just made up that phrase, demoness Alexandra Ocasio Cortez, the wicked political witch of NewSong York. And folks, uh, look, because what, what these people represent is demonic. It's demonic, folks. I mean, you think about what you hear Talariko saying, uh, in Texas and this woman Angie in Florida, the bizarre, weird spiritual stuff that they, uh, spew out of their mouth. Diverse stuff. Talarigo. God is non binary and I hate Christianity. And the pastor of his church saying, we don't even refer to God because, you know, what we believe is bigger than that. I mean, it's just weird stuff. And this woman Angie, who's running for the Senate in Florida, talking about, I take my children to drag queen story hours, and it's great. It's wholesome family fun. And my children love it and I love it. What I told you, on my view, anybody who takes their child to a drag queen story hour and allows some nasty drag queen to put their hands all over their children and have their children wallowing all over this sexualized, uh, freak. Because, folks, I don't mean to be mean, but that's what it is. And people letting their children be touched and all of that by this person, the parent and the drag queen ought to be locked up for child abuse, corrupting the morals of a minor, and sexual abuse. I mean, uh, and I'm not exaggerating, folks, because if you've seen, um, you probably can find it online. I would assume some of these, these drag queen acts. Oh my goodness gracious, it is. I mean, it's just disgusting. And no child should be exposed to that mess, let alone being dragged, forgive the pun, dragged into one of these things to be with one of these weirdos. We have to stop these people or they'll destroy our country. As you know, these people pose a greater threat to the United States of America than communist China does. You know, they really do. Because the danger of our collapse is much greater from within than it is from without. You know, China gets belligerent, starts threatening us. What happens? The patriotic Americans are unify and I, uh, join arms and say, oh no, you will not. We will stop you. Don't you even think about it. But you get these flakes within our country, you know, just moving around subtly and disarming everybody by saying, if you don't agree with them, you're a bigot, you're a hater, you're racist, you're a homophobe, you're Islamophobe, whatever they come up with. And yeah, well, people, I don't want to be known as that. I don't want anybody to call me that. And before you know it, people have just surrendered their sense of patriotic stewardship for our country because they're afraid that somebody's going to say something nasty about him and somebody's going to marginalize them and somebody's going to stop them or somebody's going to demote them or they're not going to get a job or they're going to get fired from their job or some weak kneed pastor. I might lose members. People might stop tithing if I say that. And before you know it, we just compromised our country away. In some cases, it compromised Christianity away. Although you can't destroy the church, I don't care what you do, not the true church. You can destroy these apostate, um, nothings that exist, but you can't destroy the true church. The true church is not in the building. It is the universal body of Christ. Those who are joined together and one spirit with him, who have been born again by the blood of Jesus Christ, by the working of the Holy Spirit miraculously in us, uh, to make us new creations in Christ Jesus. You can't destroy that. You might be able to kill one Christian like they killed Charlie Kirk, but you cannot destroy that.
Advocating for Constitution Day as a National Holiday and Its Significance for American Rights
Okay. All right, folks, with the time I've got left, let me, let me, let me get into September 17th. I want to say right off the bat. So that you know exactly where I'm going with this even before I get fully there. I believe that September 17th should be a national federal holiday. I believe that September 17th should be given the same emphasis as July 4th. Now, uh, that has not happened, but it does need to happen, because it will be a unifying factor that brings us together around something that every American ought to celebrate. Because the rights of every. Every single American. Black, white, brown, red, yellow, rich, poor, male, female, uh, adult, child. Every single American is protected by rights secured by the Constitution of the United States of America. It was passed on September 17th in, uh, Philadelphia. And it doesn't get nearly the emphasis that July 4th gets. And July 4th is important, don't get me wrong, because July 4th is when we declared our independence from Great Britain. But July 4th did not give us the government that allowed ourselves to engage in the. For the first time in human history, self government under a government of limited, specific and enumerated powers. Rather than living under a monarch, an overlord, a king, a, uh, warlord, a feudal lord, a, uh, dictator, uh, you name it, an emperor. No. Self governance, meaning that the people who serve us in government are not our rulers or our masters. They are our servants. And their job primarily is to secure the liberties given to us by Almighty God that are set forth and acknowledged by the Constitution of the United States. That's their job. We don't work for them. They work for us. Uh, that's unprecedented, folks, because in every government leading up to that, the people work for the leader, not vice versa. It was an extraordinary achievement. I mean, think about this. No air conditioning, the heat of a Pennsylvania summer. And folks, I grew up in Pennsylvania. Let me tell you something. Now, the south is not nearly as cold as the Northeast in the winter. The south is very hot in the summer. The further south you get, the more the. The more oppressive the heat of the sun can be. But let me tell you something, folks. In the Northeast, in the summer, particularly starting in mid to late July, going through August, ooh, you're talking about heat and humidity. It gets terrible. I remember as a child living in a shotgun house, and I mean literally a shotgun house. You all know what a hell shotgun house is, right? It sounds when you open the front door and open the back door and you shoot a shotgun, it'll go straight through because there's nothing. There's nothing between the front door and the back door, but a little bit of space. Well, I lived in a shotgun house. It did not have any indoor bathroom. Did have a sink with running water, but it did not have an indoor bathroom. I took a bath on Saturday nights in a galvanized tub. And in the summertime, of course, no air conditioning. I can remember. And I just don't do well with heat, folks. Oh Lord. I can remember tossing and turning and trying to sleep on the floor and oh my goodness, uh, I mean, I was a kid, I didn't understand that my metabolism just didn't do well with heat. But, oh my, it was, it was terrible. Imagine the founding fathers dressed to the nines, sitting in 90, 90, 500 degree weather, debating the future of this country and the framework of the Constitution of the United States for four months, almost daily, all day, every day. I mean that in itself is just, it's extraordinary. Ben Franklin, at one point, when they'd reached an impasse, um, and the impasse they'd reached, I believe at that particular time, because I think he said this on June 28th of 1787, was over the framework of the Constitution. Remember that? The two biggest issues they discussed. Now there were lots of particulars under these two major issues, but the two biggest issues they had to resolve was the framework of the government and what to do about slavery. That was it. And of course the framework of the government was the primary thing. But believe it or not, according to historical reports, do you know, uh, they spent the entire month of August trying to figure out how to get rid of slavery. They couldn't do it ultimately because, uh, South Carolina, Georgia and North Carolina threatened to leave the convention and to refuse to be a part of the union if they included a ban on slavery. The entire month of August they debated that. That was, and it was a heated debate. But prior to that and debating the framework of the government where, uh, James Madison and George Washington and, and all of those who were, who brought to the convention. The Virginia plan came with a premise that absolute power can never be allowed to reside in the hands of any one person or group of people or agency of government, ever. And so they came up with this tripartite system, which by the way, is Based on Isaiah 33, 22, if I'm not mistaken. Um, let me see if I can pull that up. Which is the passage that lays out God's, um, framework of power, if you will. Of course, we know God is omniscient and omnipresent, um, and omnipotent, um, so there's no limit on his power whatsoever. Um, I said 3322. Oh, here we go. I think that's it. Yep. That's it. And it says, for the Lord, God is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king. There's the tripartite government that we established. A, uh, legislative branch and a judicial branch and an executive branch. Now the thing is, God can handle all of that because God is perfect and God is always going to provide perfect justice. But human beings aren't. Human beings aren't perfect and human beings can't provide perfect justice. And our founding fathers didn't want this framework of power. This includes it all really within the, the, the uh, under the aegis or rubric of governance. This contains it all. The legislative, you pass the laws, the judicial, you interpret the laws, and the executive, you implement or carry out or enforce the laws. God can do all three. He's perfect. Human beings can. And our founding father said this. All of these powers can never be in the hands of one person, one group or one agent. And so they created the checks and balances of our legislative branch, our judicial branch and our executive branch. Now, they did that in order to secure your liberty and mine. Your liberty and mine. Now of course, I've got to address the 800 pound gorilla in the room. It's always there. Yeah, but Bishop Jackson, what about slavery? And there was slavery and they passed the Constitution, there was still slavery. I just said, did I not, that the entire month of August was debating that issue with many of the delegates wanting to do away with slavery, but they couldn't hold the union together if they tried to do that. Uh, let me just say this. I think I said this the last time I was with you folks.
The Historical Opposition to Slavery in America and the Golden Rule
The debate on the enslavement and holding in bondage of Africans started as soon as the first Africans began to be held in bondage. Slave code started in about 1660. Within a few years thereafter you had movements started to say slavery is wrong. The slave codes, slave clothes, by the way, slave codes. In case this is not clear, the slave codes were what began to define slavery as an intergenerational and lifetime institution. So in other words, if your mother was a slave, you are born a slave and you are a slave for life. See, up until that time that wasn't the case. That uh, started till 19, until the 1619, till the 1660s, that's when that started. Up until that time, Africans coming to this country were coming as indentured servants and they serve a term of years and then they would go off and, and get a plot of land. That's happened in Virginia. 50 acres of land and Then they would parlay that into something more. But they were not lifetime slaves. That didn't start until later. But from the moment that started, there were people. The Quakers were the first to officially codify their opposition. But there were opponents even before that. And the Quakers said, slavery violates the Golden Rule. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. And nobody else wants to be a slave. Nobody wants to be owned. Why should you do it to anybody else? And that opposition never subsided, folks. So for all those people out there who want to talk about America being white supremacists and America being racist, were there racists in America? Sure. Were there white supremacists in America? Sure. Is America racist and white supremacists? No. Categorically, unequivocally, no. You cannot argue that. If you understand the history and understand that from, uh, the 1680s, officially, with the first official document, the Quakers passed a petition against slavery, uh, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. But from that moment leading up to almost 200 years later when the Civil War started, there was ongoing opposition to slavery every step of the way. Now, you want to talk about the 1820 Compromise. Slavery wasn't to be, um, uh, wasn't to exist over, was it 3,000, 630 parallel, I think it was. And then the 1850 compromise, which softened that. And then, uh, sorry, the 18. 1830 compromise, I think that softened that. And then the 18, uh, I think it was 54. Compromised the Kansas, Nebraska. I think that was 1854. All of these trying to address. Forgive me if I don't get the dates absolutely right. I know 1820 is right. But all of these with one thing in mind, dealing with slavery. How can you say the country's white supremacists when people are fighting and arguing? You can't enslave people. You can't enslave people. Some people say, oh, yes, we can, and we think it's right. But it was being hotly debated. The Civil War didn't spring up out of nothing. It didn't just happen. It happened because for 200 years we had been arguing about it. By the way, they argued about it when the Declaration of Independence was written, as well as, I'm sure you know, Thomas Jefferson, original draft had a denunciation of slavery in it. And again, Georgia and South Carolina then said, no, we are not accepting that. You can't do that. And if you do, we're out. So once again, for the sake of unity, they let it pass. If you say, well, there wasn't really any real opposition, well, then why did it continue for another. What, from 1776 to 1860? What is that? Um, 84 years? M. Why did it continue another 84 years and lead to a civil war? Because the opposition was real. It was real. I don't apologize for my country. We inherited an institution that existed all over the world, on every continent on Earth, among every group of people on Earth, practically among every tribe or every tribal people on Earth. But nobody made the moral argument fervently and as righteously as Americans that slavery was inherently wrong. My country brought that to bear. And I want to say something to you now that you may not have ever thought about, but I really believe this is what the Lord spoke to me. And you see how you receive it. God said to me, son, when the first Africans left for the North American continent, that was the beginning of the end of the enslavement of African people. Now, there's still something going on, but it's going on among Africans. It's not going on anywhere else. Except the Chinese getting into Africa because they're a bunch of. I shouldn't say all of them, but communist. Communist Chinese are a bunch of racist folks. I don't know whether you know that, but they are. But not just against black people. They think they're superior to everybody. Everybody, say going over to Africa, they've got. They've got kids in. In m. Mining for, uh, rare earth minerals and dying every single day in different parts of Africa. But the moral argument that brought an end to the widespread and accepted enslavement of black Africans, Sub Saharan Africans, that was an American phenomenon. William Wilberforce was a singular personality, so committed that he broke the back of slavery in Great Britain. But in America, it was a widespread abolition movement based not upon one person, but based upon the moral argument of Christian thinking that no human being is allowed by God to own another human being. Well, that argument happened in the Constitution. In fact, um, some of you probably know this, some of you may not, but Gouverneur Morris. That was his first name, not his title. Gouverneur Morris was the most avid opponent of slavery at the Constitutional Convention. And Gouverneur Morris was the person chosen to cobble together all the agreements that were made about how the Constitution would be framed, how the government would be framed, all the notes. He cobbled all of that together and wrote the preamble and gave the final draft of the Constitution of the United States. He was selected for the Committee of Style. It also included James Madison and Alexander Hamilton and two other people, uh, Um, I mean, I could probably find out who they are, but they weren't nearly as prominent. But they all turned over to Gouverneur Morris the responsibility to present the final style. And Gouverneur Morris, being an avid anti slavery proponent, wrote the Constitution in such a way as to reflect his commitment to freedom for all. That's why the word slave or slavery never appears in the document, the drafts it did. But he took all that out and he referred to the slaves as persons. Persons. Now he did refer to them sometimes persons held in label in labor, but as persons, not property, as persons. I really believe it was his contribution to the Constitution that caused Frederick Douglass to later read the document after hearing it was a racist document, to read it and say, I found the Constitution to be an anti slavery document. M I think that's what Gouverneur Morris wanted people to read when they read it and think about the delegates choosing him of all people. And I think they were making a statement. And the statement was, well, we may not have been able to overcome slavery, but we're going to certainly do our best to make sure that history knows that we were committed to overcoming it. And the choice of their stylist, the choice of the person who actually framed the Constitution into a single cogent document, was the person known primarily for one thing, his opposition to slavery. You know, most people aren't even aware of that because they're so accustomed to this polemic and America's racism, uh, you know, just this mindless nonsense that they've heard. They don't even know that because it's not being taught. Well, look, in the midst of all of the arguing and the debating over the framework of the Constitution, the framework of our government, of course, the tripartite government, the bicameral legislature, um, in order to give states an adequate amount of influence, no matter how small their population. That was what the Electoral College was all about. And that was what the United States Senate was all about. You got these socialists, they want to do away with the United States Senate. What idiots.
Critique of Socialists' Attempts to Dismantle the Senate and Electoral College
But we know, of course we know, uh, what they want. They want to rule by population in the hopes that California and NewSong York cobbled together with a couple of other blue states, would be able to decide the fate of the country because they've got so many people. I mean, California's got 39 million people in it. I mean, I forget what the entire state of NewSong York has got, but I think NewSong York city's got about 8 million. And the entire state's probably got 11, 12 million. I mean, just think about those two states alone, and you've got over 50 million people. And that's one of the things the founders were concerned about, because they didn't want the populated states to basically trample on the less populated states. I think that's one of the reasons why Rhode island wanted the smallest populations among 13 colleges. Rhode island didn't even show up for the Constitutional Convention. They finally accepted it and ratified it. But they felt like all these bigger states like Virginia, with more than 10 times the population, they'll trample us. And that's exactly what the Founding Fathers didn't want. The other thing that's important to say is that the Founding Fathers believe what the word of God teaches about the heart of man as being deceitfully wicked, above everything who can know it. And they wanted to create a limited government so that wicked human hearts could not run rush shod over the liberty of the people. I'll tell you, we owe God and the men he used a debt of gratitude. Well, look, I'm about out of time, but here's what I want to get across to you. Why don't we celebrate September 17th? Why don't we teach our families about it? Why don't we teach our children and schools about it? Why do we let it pass with such little attention? I woke up on the morning of September 17th and was monitoring the news to see, well, how much discussion is there of, uh, the fact that today is Constitution Day? Now, I couldn't watch every program, but I sort of sampled, including fox. I saw nothing. And I'm not saying there wasn't anything you may say. Oh, no, I did see one thing, but I saw nothing. It should have been every other word out of our mouths. The program should have been, uh, primarily dedicated to a celebration of the Constitution, and it was not. Because, I tell you, if the American people don't appreciate the brilliance, the inspiration, the power of the Constitution in securing our liberty, our liberty may already be lost. We just don't know it. I mean, you got the Democratic socialists saying, let's do away with the Constitution. Well, they haven't said it that way, but we're going to do away with the Senate, do away with the presidency, do away with the Supreme Court. You might as well just say doing away with the Constitution because those are essential elements in the checks and balances. They're going to do away with that and have one little group of people who are deciding everything with no checks and balances. And that's supposed to what Secure our liberty. No, it's supposed to secure them power to do whatever they want to do. That's what it's supposed to do. And people like that, as far as I am concerned, aren't worthy to shine the shoes of our founding Fathers.
Christian Duty to Vote Based on Values and Principles for America's Future
Because our founding fathers focused on securing the liberty of the American people. And these people in this demon Crat party and these demon Crat socialists, you know what they're interested in doing? They're interested in securing their own power to control everything and everybody. That's the bottom line. No, thank you. Folks, we have got to get out and vote in November. Early voting's already started in some jurisdictions. We have got to get out and vote. When I say we, of course I mean Christians. Of course every American should vote, but I'm talking about Christians. We've got to get out and vote. And we got to vote our Christian values. Vote biblical principle. Vote for people who come as close as possible to the values that we hold dear. Jesus is not ever going to be on the ballot, but there will be people who love Jesus and are really committed to following His Word. And when there aren't people who love Jesus and, uh, committed to following his word, there may be two candidates, one of whom still holds to a Judeo Christian worldview and. And another one who doesn't. You can still make a choice for the one who is closest to the values that you hold dear and can best help and support making sure that America remains a nation whose God is the Lord. That's what's going to preserve America. It's not our military. It's not our economy. Those things are important. Don't get me wrong, it's not even our Constitution. All those things are important, but all those things are corruptible. George Washington said the twin pillars of religion and morality are essential. And if you don't believe that, he said, don't even call yourself a patriot. Because he knew that without those twin pillars, the rest would collapse in on itself. September 17th, Constitution Day. We don't have a petition on the website yet, but we will go to our website and just sign up and say, hey, Bishop Jackson, I want to support your effort to make September 17, Constitution Day, a federal holiday to help unify and educate the American people. Introduction and Concerns Regarding Iran's Threat to America and Global Stability

Now, we're not the only one. I won't say we're the only one, but there are very few voices of, uh, clarity, of, uh, biblical worldview that have unfettered access to the American people. In other words, there's not somebody censoring us and saying, uh, you can't say that. You can't say this, you can't say that. That doesn't happen here. As long as we are espousing what thus saith the Lord, there is no censorship whatsoever. And I praise God for that. That I can tell you the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me God. Well, look, folks, I, um, want to talk to you today about September 17, Constitution Day. But before I get to that, something very important. I want to say to you a couple of things, actually. One is I went to the pump, in fact, on the very day that I recorded this program, and gasoline was over $5 a gallon. $5 a gallon. Not. I have a truck. I burned high test in my truck. But folks, I've never seen gas prices that high. I don't think I, uh, paid prices that high. You think, well, wow. What are you, what are you thinking with you. You are, uh, uh, you know, we know that this is primarily. Although we're hearing that this is at this point, not so much the result of the Iranian war, because more and more oil is coming through the Strait of Hormuz, and the President has got Iran locked down so that they're not making money off their oil, but a lot of oil is flowing to the Strait of Hormuz. That this is rather an issue with Saudi Arabia. And, and the attacks by Iran against Saudi Arabia and their skittishness, and in addition to that, what's happening in Russia, Ukraine attacking the energy infrastructure of Russia, that those two factors are really what's driving prices up right now, because throughout the Iranian war, I've never seen prices this high. But let me say this. This is my senator about that. And I've said to you all before, it is not as if I'm some multimillionaire or billionaire with just, you know, so much money that it just doesn't really matter to me. It matters. It affects our budget. But here's what I say to President Trump about this whole thing. Finish it. Finish it. Finish it. You know, we've been putting up with these people for 50 years, with threats of nuclear war, paying for terrorists to attack our country, assassination plots against our president, against our public officials, attacks, uh, on our military in Iraq and in other parts of the world. I mean, enough is enough. Finish it. And look, do I like paying over $5 a gallon for gasoline? You better believe I don't. But I'll tell you something, folks. I'd pay $50 a gallon for gasoline if it got rid of these. This regime. I mean it. I mean it. They've got to go. Now. I'm not talking about the Iranian people. I'm talking about this rogue regime, this apocalyptic cult of people who think that somehow they're going to destroy Israel and destroy America and usher in the Mahdi, the. The. The. The worldwide caliphate, and they're going to rule the world. They're nuts and they're dangerous, and they've got to be stopped.
Call to Action: Annihilate the Iranian Regime and the Importance of Truth
And it's time to end it. I mean, they're attacking our allies. They're still attacking places where America has bases or resources or vulnerabilities. So apparently their ability to project some power has still not been eliminated. It's time to eliminate it now. Uh, the president has threatened that if they don't make a deal, he's threatening annihilation. I'll tell you what. I think it's time to get beyond threats. I think it's time to annihilate this regime. I think it's time to just reduce the regime to rubble. And it's sad that the Iranian people, who I understand are very. I, uh, mean, obviously you've got some radicals among the Iranian people. We know that. But I understand the Iranian people as a whole are very rational, very reasonable people, that they really don't agree with this fanatical stuff, that this Ayatollah and his bunch of puppets are putting down or that the IRGC is trying to enforce, they don't agree with. Now, I'm not Iranian. I'm not in Iran. I don't know. I'm just. Based on reports I'm getting, that's what we're hearing. So let's just destroy this regime and get it over with and get back to normal. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to have to pay $50 a gallon for gasoline. I don't want to pay 5. But as I've said before, I'd rather that than news that a nuclear bomb is headed my way. And make no mistake about it, that's exactly what Iran wants to do. Who was it who said. I can't remember exactly who coined this phrase or this principle, but it might have been Margaret Thatcher, but I'm not sure. When your enemy says he wants to kill you, believe him, believe him. That, uh, may be a slight paraphrase, but it's the point. It's the same point these Iranians say, death to America. They want the great Satan America brought down. We better believe it that that's what they want. Not that that's what they're going to accomplish, but that's what they want. I mean, think about it, folks. What was it? I forget the exact number. Was it nine? Terrorists brought our country to a complete standstill. I mean, they shut down the stock market, they shut down the government, and they shut down the economy. Not an airplane flew. I think it was for about a week. And they just. Basically, they had four targets. They only attacked three of them. Three of the four. The World Trade Towers and the Pentagon. But think of the damage that they did. Imagine the damage a nuclear weapon would do to our country. So, as an American citizen, uh, look, like I said, I'm not a millionaire or billionaire. And, you know, $5 a gallon, plus, you certainly feel it. You definitely feel it. But you know what? I love my country more than comfort. What's the song say in America? The Beautiful. The line that goes. Oh, beautiful for, um, heroes. Um, uh. How's it go? It's shown in liberating strife. But here's the line that I really want to focus on. Who more than self their country loved. Who more than self their country loved. That's the way I feel. Yeah, it makes me uncomfortable financially, But I love my country more than I love financial comfort. And I love my country more than I love. I don't love money at all, But I love my country more than the creature Comforts that money can buy and more than the relief, uh, that low gas prices afford me, M. So I say, Mr. President, banish it, please. Finish it, stop talking about it and finish it. Uh, and let's get this mess behind us once and for all. Maybe the Iranian people will step in and out of the rubble will come at least a rational state. I mean, it'll still be a Muslim state, but at least a rational state that we can work with. I mean, there are other rational players in the Muslim world that we can work with. Don't get me wrong. I still don't trust Islam. But it's here, and we're not going to wipe it off the face of the earth, nor should we try. And so the same way we did with the Soviet Union, we've just got to manage that relationship as best we can and work with those who seem to be willing to work with us. And Iran is not one of those countries. So that was the first thing, uh, I wanted to get out, to get on the table. Um, the second thing I really want to mention to you before I get onto the Constitution, is to solicit your prayers, because I think I've explained this to you all before. Uh, Google and Gmail, uh, are really creating major problems for me and for my organization. And I have found out after having had an emergency board meeting that I'm not the only one. They're hurting a lot of organizations, a lot of people. I had a dear friend of mine I know who's got a much larger organization than I do, said we struggle with them constantly, constantly, where they're basically, in one way or another, sabotaging what we're trying to do. Uh, so pray for us. Because, you know, Google is not bigger than God. They may think they are, but they're not. I think I said to you, the Lord spoke to me a while ago, not that long ago, just really about a week ago, and said to me, we need to pray for God's prophetic intervention in the realm of politics or political and social matters, for God's miraculous intervention. We need to pray for their confusion, that they wouldn't be able to affect their plans, that they couldn't agree, that they just can't get it together. We need to pray for their defusion, that they would become despairing and depressed and disheartened and discouraged and throw their hands up and just become so thoroughly frustrated that they can't be effective. And then we've got to pay for the refusal of their money backers to continue to open up their bank accounts, that they begin to say, you know What? You lost $64 million in that Virginia debacle where we spent all that money trying to get a referendum passed, and the court strike it down as unconstitutional, and may there be many, many more circumstances like that. We need to be praying for that. Some refer to these as imprecatory prayers. We're not praying for people to die. We're not praying for people to be injured. We're not pr. You know, any horrible thing to happen to somebody. We're simply praying that their nefarious, wicked, despicable plans for this country cannot be affected or effective. We're praying that, like what God did with the people of Mount Seir and, uh, the Ammonites and the Moabites when they were coming to attack Israel. And God told the people through Jehoshaphat, set yourselves. Actually through the prophet, I think it was Ahaziah, set yourself stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. You will not need to fight this battle, but set yourself stand still. I believe if we will set ourselves, if we will stand fast on the word of God, stand still and be unmovable. I really believe God will miraculously deliver us, uh, from these forces that are rising against us. The forces of Marxism and socialism and communism and any other ism one can think of, including Islamism and Hinduism and Buddhism and whatever it is, whether it's political or social or spiritual. All of these.
The Rise of Harmful Ideologies and Movements Threatening the Nation's Foundations
These horrible movements, m that are gripping our country. The sexual perversion movement. I call it the, uh, SPCG movement, the sexual perversion child grooming movement. That all of them will suffer ignominious collapse. That they would collapse in on each other. That they would turn on each other and devour each other so that they can't carry out the plans they have for our beloved country. God woke me up early in the morning and told me it is time to pray for his prophetic and miraculous intervention in the affairs of politics, in the social and political affairs of this nation. And m. I'm believing God for that. I'm praying for that. Yes, God, intervene. Oh God, intervene now. Save now. We pray. And I don't believe God would tell me to pray those prayers and to share with others praying those prayers without his intention that he's going to answer that prayer. You know, when God tells you to pray something, pray that. Yeah, pray that. Because what God is saying is, I've already written the solution. It's already done in heaven. Your word, oh God, is forever settled in heaven. It's already done. You pray that prayer. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Glory to God. So please join me in praying for God's prophetic and miraculous intervention into our political and social affairs. That the enemy will be confused, that the enemy will be diffused, that the enemy will be refused. And by the way, here's the fourth thing God told me to pray for. And that the awakening that so many are experiencing would explode in America. And that the people of God would rise up, uh, like a, um, mighty army, and vote and stand with boldness unlike, um, anything we've ever seen before. Glory to God. I'm believing for that. I am believing for that. And we need it because we cannot afford to turn over the Senate and House to a bunch of Marxists. And that's exactly what a Democrat victory would be because these demon crats have become. They, they really are Marxists and communists and socialists. Most of them won't call themselves that because they're not sure the American people will accept that. But again, the top presidential candidate for the demon crat party is the demoness herself. I just made up that phrase, demoness Alexandra Ocasio Cortez, the wicked political witch of NewSong York. And folks, uh, look, because what, what these people represent is demonic. It's demonic, folks. I mean, you think about what you hear Talariko saying, uh, in Texas and this woman Angie in Florida, the bizarre, weird spiritual stuff that they, uh, spew out of their mouth. Diverse stuff. Talarigo. God is non binary and I hate Christianity. And the pastor of his church saying, we don't even refer to God because, you know, what we believe is bigger than that. I mean, it's just weird stuff. And this woman Angie, who's running for the Senate in Florida, talking about, I take my children to drag queen story hours, and it's great. It's wholesome family fun. And my children love it and I love it. What I told you, on my view, anybody who takes their child to a drag queen story hour and allows some nasty drag queen to put their hands all over their children and have their children wallowing all over this sexualized, uh, freak. Because, folks, I don't mean to be mean, but that's what it is. And people letting their children be touched and all of that by this person, the parent and the drag queen ought to be locked up for child abuse, corrupting the morals of a minor, and sexual abuse. I mean, uh, and I'm not exaggerating, folks, because if you've seen, um, you probably can find it online. I would assume some of these, these drag queen acts. Oh my goodness gracious, it is. I mean, it's just disgusting. And no child should be exposed to that mess, let alone being dragged, forgive the pun, dragged into one of these things to be with one of these weirdos. We have to stop these people or they'll destroy our country. As you know, these people pose a greater threat to the United States of America than communist China does. You know, they really do. Because the danger of our collapse is much greater from within than it is from without. You know, China gets belligerent, starts threatening us. What happens? The patriotic Americans are unify and I, uh, join arms and say, oh no, you will not. We will stop you. Don't you even think about it. But you get these flakes within our country, you know, just moving around subtly and disarming everybody by saying, if you don't agree with them, you're a bigot, you're a hater, you're racist, you're a homophobe, you're Islamophobe, whatever they come up with. And yeah, well, people, I don't want to be known as that. I don't want anybody to call me that. And before you know it, people have just surrendered their sense of patriotic stewardship for our country because they're afraid that somebody's going to say something nasty about him and somebody's going to marginalize them and somebody's going to stop them or somebody's going to demote them or they're not going to get a job or they're going to get fired from their job or some weak kneed pastor. I might lose members. People might stop tithing if I say that. And before you know it, we just compromised our country away. In some cases, it compromised Christianity away. Although you can't destroy the church, I don't care what you do, not the true church. You can destroy these apostate, um, nothings that exist, but you can't destroy the true church. The true church is not in the building. It is the universal body of Christ. Those who are joined together and one spirit with him, who have been born again by the blood of Jesus Christ, by the working of the Holy Spirit miraculously in us, uh, to make us new creations in Christ Jesus. You can't destroy that. You might be able to kill one Christian like they killed Charlie Kirk, but you cannot destroy that.
Advocating for Constitution Day as a National Holiday and Its Significance for American Rights
Okay. All right, folks, with the time I've got left, let me, let me, let me get into September 17th. I want to say right off the bat. So that you know exactly where I'm going with this even before I get fully there. I believe that September 17th should be a national federal holiday. I believe that September 17th should be given the same emphasis as July 4th. Now, uh, that has not happened, but it does need to happen, because it will be a unifying factor that brings us together around something that every American ought to celebrate. Because the rights of every. Every single American. Black, white, brown, red, yellow, rich, poor, male, female, uh, adult, child. Every single American is protected by rights secured by the Constitution of the United States of America. It was passed on September 17th in, uh, Philadelphia. And it doesn't get nearly the emphasis that July 4th gets. And July 4th is important, don't get me wrong, because July 4th is when we declared our independence from Great Britain. But July 4th did not give us the government that allowed ourselves to engage in the. For the first time in human history, self government under a government of limited, specific and enumerated powers. Rather than living under a monarch, an overlord, a king, a, uh, warlord, a feudal lord, a, uh, dictator, uh, you name it, an emperor. No. Self governance, meaning that the people who serve us in government are not our rulers or our masters. They are our servants. And their job primarily is to secure the liberties given to us by Almighty God that are set forth and acknowledged by the Constitution of the United States. That's their job. We don't work for them. They work for us. Uh, that's unprecedented, folks, because in every government leading up to that, the people work for the leader, not vice versa. It was an extraordinary achievement. I mean, think about this. No air conditioning, the heat of a Pennsylvania summer. And folks, I grew up in Pennsylvania. Let me tell you something. Now, the south is not nearly as cold as the Northeast in the winter. The south is very hot in the summer. The further south you get, the more the. The more oppressive the heat of the sun can be. But let me tell you something, folks. In the Northeast, in the summer, particularly starting in mid to late July, going through August, ooh, you're talking about heat and humidity. It gets terrible. I remember as a child living in a shotgun house, and I mean literally a shotgun house. You all know what a hell shotgun house is, right? It sounds when you open the front door and open the back door and you shoot a shotgun, it'll go straight through because there's nothing. There's nothing between the front door and the back door, but a little bit of space. Well, I lived in a shotgun house. It did not have any indoor bathroom. Did have a sink with running water, but it did not have an indoor bathroom. I took a bath on Saturday nights in a galvanized tub. And in the summertime, of course, no air conditioning. I can remember. And I just don't do well with heat, folks. Oh Lord. I can remember tossing and turning and trying to sleep on the floor and oh my goodness, uh, I mean, I was a kid, I didn't understand that my metabolism just didn't do well with heat. But, oh my, it was, it was terrible. Imagine the founding fathers dressed to the nines, sitting in 90, 90, 500 degree weather, debating the future of this country and the framework of the Constitution of the United States for four months, almost daily, all day, every day. I mean that in itself is just, it's extraordinary. Ben Franklin, at one point, when they'd reached an impasse, um, and the impasse they'd reached, I believe at that particular time, because I think he said this on June 28th of 1787, was over the framework of the Constitution. Remember that? The two biggest issues they discussed. Now there were lots of particulars under these two major issues, but the two biggest issues they had to resolve was the framework of the government and what to do about slavery. That was it. And of course the framework of the government was the primary thing. But believe it or not, according to historical reports, do you know, uh, they spent the entire month of August trying to figure out how to get rid of slavery. They couldn't do it ultimately because, uh, South Carolina, Georgia and North Carolina threatened to leave the convention and to refuse to be a part of the union if they included a ban on slavery. The entire month of August they debated that. That was, and it was a heated debate. But prior to that and debating the framework of the government where, uh, James Madison and George Washington and, and all of those who were, who brought to the convention. The Virginia plan came with a premise that absolute power can never be allowed to reside in the hands of any one person or group of people or agency of government, ever. And so they came up with this tripartite system, which by the way, is Based on Isaiah 33, 22, if I'm not mistaken. Um, let me see if I can pull that up. Which is the passage that lays out God's, um, framework of power, if you will. Of course, we know God is omniscient and omnipresent, um, and omnipotent, um, so there's no limit on his power whatsoever. Um, I said 3322. Oh, here we go. I think that's it. Yep. That's it. And it says, for the Lord, God is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king. There's the tripartite government that we established. A, uh, legislative branch and a judicial branch and an executive branch. Now the thing is, God can handle all of that because God is perfect and God is always going to provide perfect justice. But human beings aren't. Human beings aren't perfect and human beings can't provide perfect justice. And our founding fathers didn't want this framework of power. This includes it all really within the, the, the uh, under the aegis or rubric of governance. This contains it all. The legislative, you pass the laws, the judicial, you interpret the laws, and the executive, you implement or carry out or enforce the laws. God can do all three. He's perfect. Human beings can. And our founding father said this. All of these powers can never be in the hands of one person, one group or one agent. And so they created the checks and balances of our legislative branch, our judicial branch and our executive branch. Now, they did that in order to secure your liberty and mine. Your liberty and mine. Now of course, I've got to address the 800 pound gorilla in the room. It's always there. Yeah, but Bishop Jackson, what about slavery? And there was slavery and they passed the Constitution, there was still slavery. I just said, did I not, that the entire month of August was debating that issue with many of the delegates wanting to do away with slavery, but they couldn't hold the union together if they tried to do that. Uh, let me just say this. I think I said this the last time I was with you folks.
The Historical Opposition to Slavery in America and the Golden Rule
The debate on the enslavement and holding in bondage of Africans started as soon as the first Africans began to be held in bondage. Slave code started in about 1660. Within a few years thereafter you had movements started to say slavery is wrong. The slave codes, slave clothes, by the way, slave codes. In case this is not clear, the slave codes were what began to define slavery as an intergenerational and lifetime institution. So in other words, if your mother was a slave, you are born a slave and you are a slave for life. See, up until that time that wasn't the case. That uh, started till 19, until the 1619, till the 1660s, that's when that started. Up until that time, Africans coming to this country were coming as indentured servants and they serve a term of years and then they would go off and, and get a plot of land. That's happened in Virginia. 50 acres of land and Then they would parlay that into something more. But they were not lifetime slaves. That didn't start until later. But from the moment that started, there were people. The Quakers were the first to officially codify their opposition. But there were opponents even before that. And the Quakers said, slavery violates the Golden Rule. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. And nobody else wants to be a slave. Nobody wants to be owned. Why should you do it to anybody else? And that opposition never subsided, folks. So for all those people out there who want to talk about America being white supremacists and America being racist, were there racists in America? Sure. Were there white supremacists in America? Sure. Is America racist and white supremacists? No. Categorically, unequivocally, no. You cannot argue that. If you understand the history and understand that from, uh, the 1680s, officially, with the first official document, the Quakers passed a petition against slavery, uh, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. But from that moment leading up to almost 200 years later when the Civil War started, there was ongoing opposition to slavery every step of the way. Now, you want to talk about the 1820 Compromise. Slavery wasn't to be, um, uh, wasn't to exist over, was it 3,000, 630 parallel, I think it was. And then the 1850 compromise, which softened that. And then, uh, sorry, the 18. 1830 compromise, I think that softened that. And then the 18, uh, I think it was 54. Compromised the Kansas, Nebraska. I think that was 1854. All of these trying to address. Forgive me if I don't get the dates absolutely right. I know 1820 is right. But all of these with one thing in mind, dealing with slavery. How can you say the country's white supremacists when people are fighting and arguing? You can't enslave people. You can't enslave people. Some people say, oh, yes, we can, and we think it's right. But it was being hotly debated. The Civil War didn't spring up out of nothing. It didn't just happen. It happened because for 200 years we had been arguing about it. By the way, they argued about it when the Declaration of Independence was written, as well as, I'm sure you know, Thomas Jefferson, original draft had a denunciation of slavery in it. And again, Georgia and South Carolina then said, no, we are not accepting that. You can't do that. And if you do, we're out. So once again, for the sake of unity, they let it pass. If you say, well, there wasn't really any real opposition, well, then why did it continue for another. What, from 1776 to 1860? What is that? Um, 84 years? M. Why did it continue another 84 years and lead to a civil war? Because the opposition was real. It was real. I don't apologize for my country. We inherited an institution that existed all over the world, on every continent on Earth, among every group of people on Earth, practically among every tribe or every tribal people on Earth. But nobody made the moral argument fervently and as righteously as Americans that slavery was inherently wrong. My country brought that to bear. And I want to say something to you now that you may not have ever thought about, but I really believe this is what the Lord spoke to me. And you see how you receive it. God said to me, son, when the first Africans left for the North American continent, that was the beginning of the end of the enslavement of African people. Now, there's still something going on, but it's going on among Africans. It's not going on anywhere else. Except the Chinese getting into Africa because they're a bunch of. I shouldn't say all of them, but communist. Communist Chinese are a bunch of racist folks. I don't know whether you know that, but they are. But not just against black people. They think they're superior to everybody. Everybody, say going over to Africa, they've got. They've got kids in. In m. Mining for, uh, rare earth minerals and dying every single day in different parts of Africa. But the moral argument that brought an end to the widespread and accepted enslavement of black Africans, Sub Saharan Africans, that was an American phenomenon. William Wilberforce was a singular personality, so committed that he broke the back of slavery in Great Britain. But in America, it was a widespread abolition movement based not upon one person, but based upon the moral argument of Christian thinking that no human being is allowed by God to own another human being. Well, that argument happened in the Constitution. In fact, um, some of you probably know this, some of you may not, but Gouverneur Morris. That was his first name, not his title. Gouverneur Morris was the most avid opponent of slavery at the Constitutional Convention. And Gouverneur Morris was the person chosen to cobble together all the agreements that were made about how the Constitution would be framed, how the government would be framed, all the notes. He cobbled all of that together and wrote the preamble and gave the final draft of the Constitution of the United States. He was selected for the Committee of Style. It also included James Madison and Alexander Hamilton and two other people, uh, Um, I mean, I could probably find out who they are, but they weren't nearly as prominent. But they all turned over to Gouverneur Morris the responsibility to present the final style. And Gouverneur Morris, being an avid anti slavery proponent, wrote the Constitution in such a way as to reflect his commitment to freedom for all. That's why the word slave or slavery never appears in the document, the drafts it did. But he took all that out and he referred to the slaves as persons. Persons. Now he did refer to them sometimes persons held in label in labor, but as persons, not property, as persons. I really believe it was his contribution to the Constitution that caused Frederick Douglass to later read the document after hearing it was a racist document, to read it and say, I found the Constitution to be an anti slavery document. M I think that's what Gouverneur Morris wanted people to read when they read it and think about the delegates choosing him of all people. And I think they were making a statement. And the statement was, well, we may not have been able to overcome slavery, but we're going to certainly do our best to make sure that history knows that we were committed to overcoming it. And the choice of their stylist, the choice of the person who actually framed the Constitution into a single cogent document, was the person known primarily for one thing, his opposition to slavery. You know, most people aren't even aware of that because they're so accustomed to this polemic and America's racism, uh, you know, just this mindless nonsense that they've heard. They don't even know that because it's not being taught. Well, look, in the midst of all of the arguing and the debating over the framework of the Constitution, the framework of our government, of course, the tripartite government, the bicameral legislature, um, in order to give states an adequate amount of influence, no matter how small their population. That was what the Electoral College was all about. And that was what the United States Senate was all about. You got these socialists, they want to do away with the United States Senate. What idiots.
Critique of Socialists' Attempts to Dismantle the Senate and Electoral College
But we know, of course we know, uh, what they want. They want to rule by population in the hopes that California and NewSong York cobbled together with a couple of other blue states, would be able to decide the fate of the country because they've got so many people. I mean, California's got 39 million people in it. I mean, I forget what the entire state of NewSong York has got, but I think NewSong York city's got about 8 million. And the entire state's probably got 11, 12 million. I mean, just think about those two states alone, and you've got over 50 million people. And that's one of the things the founders were concerned about, because they didn't want the populated states to basically trample on the less populated states. I think that's one of the reasons why Rhode island wanted the smallest populations among 13 colleges. Rhode island didn't even show up for the Constitutional Convention. They finally accepted it and ratified it. But they felt like all these bigger states like Virginia, with more than 10 times the population, they'll trample us. And that's exactly what the Founding Fathers didn't want. The other thing that's important to say is that the Founding Fathers believe what the word of God teaches about the heart of man as being deceitfully wicked, above everything who can know it. And they wanted to create a limited government so that wicked human hearts could not run rush shod over the liberty of the people. I'll tell you, we owe God and the men he used a debt of gratitude. Well, look, I'm about out of time, but here's what I want to get across to you. Why don't we celebrate September 17th? Why don't we teach our families about it? Why don't we teach our children and schools about it? Why do we let it pass with such little attention? I woke up on the morning of September 17th and was monitoring the news to see, well, how much discussion is there of, uh, the fact that today is Constitution Day? Now, I couldn't watch every program, but I sort of sampled, including fox. I saw nothing. And I'm not saying there wasn't anything you may say. Oh, no, I did see one thing, but I saw nothing. It should have been every other word out of our mouths. The program should have been, uh, primarily dedicated to a celebration of the Constitution, and it was not. Because, I tell you, if the American people don't appreciate the brilliance, the inspiration, the power of the Constitution in securing our liberty, our liberty may already be lost. We just don't know it. I mean, you got the Democratic socialists saying, let's do away with the Constitution. Well, they haven't said it that way, but we're going to do away with the Senate, do away with the presidency, do away with the Supreme Court. You might as well just say doing away with the Constitution because those are essential elements in the checks and balances. They're going to do away with that and have one little group of people who are deciding everything with no checks and balances. And that's supposed to what Secure our liberty. No, it's supposed to secure them power to do whatever they want to do. That's what it's supposed to do. And people like that, as far as I am concerned, aren't worthy to shine the shoes of our founding Fathers.
Christian Duty to Vote Based on Values and Principles for America's Future
Because our founding fathers focused on securing the liberty of the American people. And these people in this demon Crat party and these demon Crat socialists, you know what they're interested in doing? They're interested in securing their own power to control everything and everybody. That's the bottom line. No, thank you. Folks, we have got to get out and vote in November. Early voting's already started in some jurisdictions. We have got to get out and vote. When I say we, of course I mean Christians. Of course every American should vote, but I'm talking about Christians. We've got to get out and vote. And we got to vote our Christian values. Vote biblical principle. Vote for people who come as close as possible to the values that we hold dear. Jesus is not ever going to be on the ballot, but there will be people who love Jesus and are really committed to following His Word. And when there aren't people who love Jesus and, uh, committed to following his word, there may be two candidates, one of whom still holds to a Judeo Christian worldview and. And another one who doesn't. You can still make a choice for the one who is closest to the values that you hold dear and can best help and support making sure that America remains a nation whose God is the Lord. That's what's going to preserve America. It's not our military. It's not our economy. Those things are important. Don't get me wrong, it's not even our Constitution. All those things are important, but all those things are corruptible. George Washington said the twin pillars of religion and morality are essential. And if you don't believe that, he said, don't even call yourself a patriot. Because he knew that without those twin pillars, the rest would collapse in on itself. September 17th, Constitution Day. We don't have a petition on the website yet, but we will go to our website and just sign up and say, hey, Bishop Jackson, I want to support your effort to make September 17, Constitution Day, a federal holiday to help unify and educate the American people.
