Coach Joe Kennedy was fired from his high school football coaching position for kneeling for a post-game 30 second prayer.
The 9th Circus has ruled Coach Joe’s prayer was illegal.
They said, “When Kennedy kneeled and prayed on the 50 yard-line immediately after games while in view of the students and parents, he spoke as a public employee, not as a private citizen, and his speech was therefore constitutionally unprotected.”
