>> Abraham Hamilton III: And now, the Hamilton Quarter.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Good evening everyone. Welcome to the Hamilton Corner. My name is Abraham Hamilton iii. Delighted to be on with you this evening, ready to rock and roll with today's edition of the program. At this very moment, many of you, if not most of you, are making your transition from your part time jobs where you generate an income, to your full time jobs where you cultivate an outcome. And as you do so, I want to remind you to do so with intentionality, understanding the primacy that God places on family and welcoming the Lord's revelation to us through his holy word to govern, guard and guide our engagement that we will never outpolitic, we will never out, punditry, we will never out commentate the deficiencies that abound in the home. And if we would welcome the Lord to grab ahold of us inside of our families and move forward from there, there's no question as to what is available to us societally. I'm joined by the team once again, the Corner contingent right across from me. My man, 100 grand, Mr. Bobby Rosa. Man, I needed a jumper cables on that, that one today because it got a little false start. Bobby Rosa, and produce extraordinaire, often imitated, never duplicated. The real J. Mac, ladies and gentlemen. And we are ready to rock and roll with today's edition of the program. I say what I say daily about the family simply because it is true. It is also true, yes, that my wife and I are in a life stage still where we have young children still in our home. But that does not drive what I say daily. I say it because it is true. It is true. It is true that the first institution that God established was the family, with marriage at the center for a reason. That the, other components of, or should I say the other institutions that God established will maximize human flourishing. They follow the establishment of the family. And so, when you walk through that reality, when you get to, the church and you get to civil government, you can see how the familial institution being served well will set the course for those others to be able to function at the best Clip possible. But if we fumble at the familial level, then it causes outside strain upon these other institutions. To say it differently, a lot of you have people talking about mass incarceration in America and the new Jim Crow and all these kind of things. Well, would they? What they will not admit, however, is that the jails became more necessary as the families continued to be deteriorated. This whole notion that criminality follows poverty is not true historically, not even in our own country. I can tell you I know what it's like growing up on the block. But people in the hood were very, very careful about caring for their spaces and caring for things. But over time, as families disintegrated, as fathers were systematically excluded from the family, as we had, policy that incentivized fatherless homes, then you see the expanded necessity of the role of civil government. And that's the component that we have lots of people to talk about. Well, we need to have a more limited government. Well, one of the best ways to where limited government can flourish is when you have a society where families are thriving. But we don't like to talk about that, because the simple fact is to discuss the family requires. We have to talk about personal accountability, where it's far easier and certainly more effective for a demagogue to blame, you know, who, me and the man under the tree, everybody else. The fingers are pointed everywhere else, and then they present themselves as the solver of all your problems. That's. That's how this works. That's how this is how it works. But if we. And I'm saying we referring to the Lord's body, if we would recognize that and take God at his word, starting right in our own families. You know, help train fathers to lead their families and devotions at home, help discover and discuss the fact that God is designed for we as fathers to play substantively significant role, particularly in the discipline of our children. And when I say discipline, I'm not limiting it to the, physical application of discipline. You know, training our children to wake up on time is an application of a discipline. stewarding our bodies well is an application of discipline. Certainly there's a behavioral corrective component of that, but that's not the exclusive component of it. You know, helping moms. the scripture talks about Titus 2 older men's relationship and connection with younger men, older women's connections with younger women, and specifically old women teaching younger women, how to be thriving wives and moms. Well, I know it. I know the feminazis right now saying, I Just used a foul word. What?
>> Speaker C: Home?
>> Abraham Hamilton III: What? But we've got to stop man taking our marching orders from what's happening around us and get back to God's Word and take our orders from him as he's revealed himself in Scripture. To that end, to the Word of God we go.
Second Peter, chapter one. This is a reminder that God has instructions for us
Second Peter, chapter one. This is in the Scriptures, even going to affirm this. This is a reminder that even in difficult times, God has given us specific guidance as to how we are to comport ourselves and to acquit ourselves. Peter's second Epistle is written during a time when in the Roman Empire persecution is ascending against the Lord's people. And he spent the previous verses explaining that God has instructions for us. And if these qualities are ours and they are abounding, they will fortify us from being barren and unproductive in our knowledge of him. Which, truthfully speaking, is a very sobering notion to consider that as saved as we are, the potential exists if we are not wise, if we're not wise in our operation and, humbly adhering to the full counsel of God's Word, then we can be rendered barren and unproductive in our faith, in our knowledge of the true and living God, we can be barren and unproductive. Some places we don't even. We have not even been taught or encouraged to seek fruitfulness, and productivity in the faith, which is absurd. And that fruitfulness, and productivity is not the objective in and of itself, but it's the inevitable flow that results or the consequence that flows from us seeking to honor our Lord with all that we are. And then we come to this portion of the text, and the Apostle Peter is speaking or writing, I should say. And he says, therefore, I intend always to remind you of these qualities, though you know them and are established in the truth that you have. I think it right as long as I am in this body to stir you up by way of reminder, since I know that the putting off of my body will be soon, as our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me. And I will make every effort so that after my departure you may be able at any time to recall these things. So in verse 12, when Peter says, therefore I intend always to remind you of these qualities, he's talking about the qualities that would fortify the believers against being barren and unproductive in our knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. And he goes on to explain, I know you know them, but I'm reminding you of them. I think it appropriate to emphasize that Peter is saying this in the face of hostile physical persecution against the Lord's bride. So often when I travel or getting messages after programs, people will ask me, m. Well, hey, what should we do? How should we respond? And I tell them, we should respond by obeying what God has commanded of us. Certainly there are certain things that are on the rising, like AI That's a whole new program. We never had to deal with a circumstance like AI when the Internet came on the scene. There had been no Internet before there was Internet. You know what I'm saying? So there are different, innovations that occur, technological innovations that affect society in various ways, but they don't change God's principles. You know, you shun the very appearance of evil pre Internet, and you shun the very appearance of evil when the Internet comes around. And there is a. Something that is endemic to human nature, to where it's always, we, like, we want to haunt something. I would say this way, endemic to fallen human nature. Well, we got to have something new. We got to have something. We got to have something new. We don't realize we've been programmed to embrace that. But here you have the Apostle Peter saying, hey, by the way, I want to remind you, I know you know this, but I want to remind you, the truth is we should be cautious and suspicious when someone, says, I got this new thing for you, that's to cause us to be like, hold up now. I don't know about this. I don't know about this. No, no. What? The faith that we have as. As the Apostle Jude, articulated it, is the faith that has been once and for all passed down to the saints. And this. This reminder that the Apostle Peter is offering. You know, Paul did the same thing in Philippians chapter three. He said, I know you know this, but I want to remind you of this. It's something that should be a source of encouraging encouragement to us as parents. Because I know, just like I do, you probably get. Okay, I know I've heard that before. And actually, no, I've never had any of my children say that. I've heard other children say that. but when Paul was writing in Philippians 3, he said, for me to repeat these things, it's a safeguard for
>> Joseph Parker: you
>> Abraham Hamilton III: continue to articulate these eternal, biblically grounded, transcendent truths to our children. And for the children that are listening, repetition of truth is a benefit for you. Now, of course, we need to be, you know, wise and responsible and understanding what's going on, that we're not just trying to. You know, my dad used to say, beating a dead horse, so to speak. But to be repetitious concerning the expression of truth is a safeguard. Then Peter goes on and he says, as long as I am in this body, as long as I'm in this body, I'm going to stir you up by way of reminder. Reminders can be a source of stirring, stirring provocation, stirring calling. Then he mentions in verse 14, since I know that the putting off of my body will be soon. The apostle Peter is imminently aware that his time for transitioning from this side of eternity to the eternal state was imminent in his life. He was aware of it, that it was coming, and in full view of the expectation of his physical expiration. Does Peter spend his time trying to find some newfangled theories, trying to, you know, I hit him with this new stuff? No. Peter said, man, let me remind you, I, know you know this, but let me remind you, because what we're looking for is for a qualitative discipleship, but what we're looking for is for people whose lives bear evidence that they are his. And he goes on to say, and I will make every effort so that after my departure, you may be able at any time to recall these things, which gives us biblical grounding for the reality that we should prepare for our expiration. We should prepare our loved ones. We should prepare those around us and not just prepare them with natural things, considerations. Yes. I believe in, estate planning and things of that nature. Yes, yes. Confect that trust. Build the trust. Yes. Make sure your assets are properly allocated. But don't leave the most important things unaddressed. Don't leave the most important things undone. The most important things are so that after my departure, that those who remain are reliably standing in and walking in truth. That's the most important. That's the most important. In many ways, we in our nation have taken the eye off the ball, so to speak, because other things have become so much more important. And we've allowed things like, oh, I don't know, sound theology, sound doctrine to be, eh, you know, I'll let our children figure that out on their own. But we're going to make sure they're able to get into this university. We're going to make sure of these other things. The most vital component of leaving an inheritance for your children's children is the intangible, substantive truth of Christ. And these are things that the Lord inspired through, conveyed through the inspiration of the Spirit of God through the apostle Peter to the body of Christ. Facing persecution, we should Take heed in our day, because though things may be new to us, they're not new in God's economy.
>> : A discipleship minute with Joseph Parker.
>> Joseph Parker: What should a pro life church look like? What are some of the priorities, attributes and perspectives of a local church which seeks to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our nation today as it addresses life issues? A pro life church needs to be a praying church. Through prayer, they help to usher in the presence of God into their church, and they share the heart and the mind of God with the culture. It can help a church, family and an individual believer to both ask and receive the answer to another important question. The question the apostle Paul asked immediately after he met Christ in Acts, chapter 9, verse 6. Lord, what do you want me to do? And a very important companion question is, am I really seeking to honor the Lord in doing what he would have me to do as an individual disciple of Christ to help stand for life,

Abraham Hamilton III: Minnesota law allows vouching for unregistered voters
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner. Abraham Hamilton III here. Now, I'm going to share something with you and I think most of you know this, but just in case you don't, there's sometimes when I bring things forward that are, you know, breaking, so to speak. But most of the time I don't do it that way. mainly m. because we do a lot of our own research and I'd rather have the information conveyed accurately than to be the first one to do so and to do so in the wrong manner or something like that. so I saw this video and what I'm about to share with you now, and this is something I just happened to look up and I saw some people in the live feed comments were asking about the Save America Act. Boy, if you want, more fuel to add to the fire to get this thing passed. James o', Keefe, previously a project Veritas. I think he now has a new venture, or not new, but a different venture that he's working with to continue investigative journalism type things. I got wind of this video of an investigation that he did in Minnesota. And the. The. The description of the video said that upon investigating, James o' Keefe discovers that one registered voter can vouch for up to eight other people, regardless of no in particular, who are not registered, that the voucher, meaning the person who is the voucher simply has to say, well, I am a registered voter and I tell you that this fine gentleman or this fine gentle lady, they are voters in the same Precinct in which I res. So when they tell you their address is XYZ Elementop Street, I vouch for the credibility of that representation. And, like, what, in one place? And you're gonna see this on the video. James o' Keefe is. He's. He's dressed himself in. In. In Islamic attire. He presenting himself as if he is a Muslim in Minnesota. And he says, but. But what if my. My friends don't have any id? They don't have an id. In the poll, the. The red. The voting worker said, you are their id. You are the id. What? And when I saw that, I was like, come on, man. Cause, you know, sometimes people do stuff. They're trying to get clicks. You know what I'm saying? You know, the Save America act is being debated. Is it really? So I wasn't trying to verify that the video was a real video. It was evident to me that the video was a real video. I wanted to look up the election law and spend some time in the election law. And sure enough, sure enough, that that is, in fact, the law. And the law has been on the books for quite some time. So this is another instance as to where laws are being exploited. For nefarious purposes. because the law being on the books over 50 years, there was a different time period that existed previously and where people knew, their neighbors a little bit. You know what I mean? Now, I'm still not saying it was a good law, but I'm saying it was a different time period. And it's amazing to me that many of the people who would say they oppose the Save America act, we don't have unregistered voters voting. I said, well, under this Minnesota law, technically you would be right if you have unregistered voters voting because they have been vouched for. Oh, man. By a registered voter. So, oh, man, this is so bad. This is so bad. And it's so bad that this exists. And you have people there all kind of. I found all kind of stories. President Trump came out against this voucher voting system. Elon Musk came out about it. There have been articles written about this for years, but nobody has done anything about it. And you wonder, well, how did it get to the place where in the Twin Cities area, Minnesota, where you have to make an appeal to. You have Jacob Fry trying to eat Somalian fare to get elected. How does this happen? Well, it's not only the population, but I guess they know what the local voting landscape is. I want to warn you, most of you, when you see this. This is going to make you quite upset. So I want to warn you up front that this is bad. This is really, really, really, really bad. Nevertheless, listen to and watch clip number six. James o'. Keefe's. And I left this part out, his investigative video, specifically during the primaries in Minnesota last week. So this is. This is not. This is not. I said last week. let me check my dates again to make sure I got my dates right. Yes. This is from last week, where he put this to the test during last week's primary elections. And this is what we have. Clip number six, gentlemen. Clip six.
>> James O'Keefe: Go say that I'm vouching for them. The name is William. The question about the vouching program.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Yeah, vouching.
>> James O'Keefe: I can vouch for them, but they are not. That's okay. That's fine. can I bring five more? From up to eight people? Okay, that's a good thing. We go back and we get Krishna and Ernesto and, Mohammed M. In Minnesota, you can show up on election day and vouch for up to eight unregistered voters. Members of the Justice League dress up in traditional Muslim attire, including a transgender wearing a burqa.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Disgusting.
>> James O'Keefe: And put this vouching law to an extreme test on primary day, August 11th.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Gonna be a baller shot caller.
Most poll workers we visited were willing to let us vouch for them
20 inch blades on the impal.
>> James O'Keefe: Vouching.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Vouching for.
>> James O'Keefe: I, vouch for them.
>> Joseph Parker: Oh, great.
>> James O'Keefe: Is that okay?
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Yes.
>> James O'Keefe: How does that work?
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Well, if you're all in the same precinct.
>> James O'Keefe: Yes.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: And you are already registered, which it looks like you are, then you. You can vouch for them as ID for them. Oh, good.
>> James O'Keefe: She says to me, I says, they do not need I.D. she says, you are the id.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: He is the id.
>> James O'Keefe: I am the id. And no id needed. I just vouch for them.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Well, you're the id.
>> James O'Keefe: I am the ID. It's good. How many people, may I vouch for? Eight.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: I thought it was six.
>> James O'Keefe: I can vouch for eight people. Eight people. No idea. We come right back. Thank you. Most poll workers we visited were willing to let us vouch with no questions asked, even when presented with the most absurd situation imaginable. While other poll workers did take issue with our investigation revealing their awareness that something about this vouching system is deeply flawed or wrong. Yep.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Guys, that is. That is insane. And. And for those who don't know, the music is what James o' Keefe put on the video. That's. I mean, I don't have any. Any use for wanting to be a baller. But goodness. So. So they would go from voting station, from voting location. Two voting location, two voting location. And each time, one registered voter can represent nine people in total. Eight of the other people are not registered. Do y' all understand what I'm saying to you? The eight other people do not have to be registered. The eight other people do not have to show identification. The eight other people can be. Whoever. I went through a position, paper from the Mississippi. Mississippi, The Minnesota Attorney General's office to where they're trying to defend this vouching system. And the simple reality is that the statute was written for the time of Ward Cleaver, when everybody knew each other. And here's this. The propensity to lie about who's voting was a lot less than what it is. Now, you tell me whether or not this vouching system is made to secure free and fair elections, or is it a system that is. in volleyball, you have certain positions of volleyball. It's called the setter. And what does the setter do? The setter sets the ball so that the striker can come and tell me whether or not you think that system is set for fraud. And you have bobbleheads in D.C. who want to tell me, oh, but, Abraham, there's no fraud in our election. At least not widespread fraud. And then you do an audit on elections done under this vouching system, and you find, oh, well, we have votes from people who aren't registered, but they were vouched for. So in their system, that would not be viewed. Y' all follow me? You're tracking with me. That would not be viewed as a voting irregularity. You see? So. So. So. So the people who would say that, oh, ah, there, there. Abraham goes again with that fear mongering. Like, really? Really. So you have a system to where. And I know James o' Keefe is not the most famous person in the world. Unless you follow politics pretty closely, you might not know who he was. So I don't blame the people for not recognizing James o'. Keefe. But he comes in there and they're telling him, oh, here's the id. And he's asking, how many more people can I bring with me? 15. They say, oh, you can bring eight more. He's like, all right, we'll be. And then they said, we'll be back. We'll be back, Guys. That is wild. That is wild. If you needed more, I mean. I mean, I'd encourage you, if you haven't done so, to send this video, grab this video from my show if you don't have another alternative source to get to it and it's James o' Keeffe's video and send it to your senator and say, you still ain't considering the Save America Act. And I know, and I'm grateful that you have various state legislatures around the country that are passing their versions of the Save America Act. but anybody want to take a guess which states aren't considering passing their versions of the Save America Act? I'll give you a hint.
Minnesota has a system where one registered voter vouches for eight unregistered voters
One of them robs a Guinness Boda. The people that are not considering a, state version of the Save America act are the people. The states legislatures that are not considering their version of a Save America act are the states where it's most needed. Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. So you can see now why when I saw that video, I, thought to myself, surely, surely this, this can't be right. Guys, it is the, it is the current law applicable to precincts in the state of Minnesota. Vouching and, and going through this is going to be rich for you guys. Going, going through, the Mississippi's. I said the Attorney General's. I meant the Mississippi Sec. Mississippi. The Minnesota Secretary of State's office's artic support for this vouching system. they went on to explain, oh yeah, cause you know, other states have vouching systems and they hide out of states like South Dakota. And guess what the system is in South Dakota. In South Dakota, the vouching doesn't come from another registered voter. The vouching comes from an affidavit from the individual voting. Guys, you know what that's called? Provisional ballots. So in states like South Dakota, if you have a person who is eligible to vote, but for whatever reason, the registration may not have transferred the move or something like that, at most they would allow them to collect provisional cast provisional ballots, after which, after which they would have to reconcile the affidavit to a legitimate voting registration. You don't have some other on the person vouching for you where you never show your, your, your credentials and your identity to confirm your identity to vote. Guys, this is crazy. This is just crazy to me. This is crazy. And this is an example of what I'm talking about going all the way back. You know, I don't want to beat a dead horse. I said that earlier in the first segment. But when you have George Stephanopoulos saying, well, well, you know, the, the voting fraud is not widespread. I said what I thought was a Logical reply, don't you? Shouldn't we try to find out how widespread it is? are we gonna just, we're gonna just chill and say it's not widespread without being able to quantify that. Because I think people know, they don't want you looking under the hood and finding out that, hey, by the way, in an area that has just been transformed to look somewhat similar to Somalia, in a state to where they even changed their state, flagged her kind of resemble Somalia. Also a place where you had massive fraud, on different fronts. It also happens to be the place where this vouching system allows for one registered voter to vouch for eight other unregistered voters. And here's the thing is there's no like subsequent follow up or anything. It's just you go get them and the red, the one registered voter is the id, as you heard, you are the id. And then they get to go and vote. Guys, that's wild.
In 95% of American law schools, the U.S. constitution is not assigned
That is wild when you consider that then the next story I'm going to get to and it, man, it was. I don't know if I'm able to get through the story because it's so sad. And it's sad on a host of fronts. You see the combination of things that are converging the cause of problems, cause, not cause that are converging to exacerbate many of the problems that are happening in our country. But I want to present something to you when you see things like this. And you know, I was talking with a friend, at church just Sunday and I was explaining to him, you do realize in the overwhelming majority, I'm talking about upwards of 95% of American law schools, the U.S. constitution is not a part of the assigned reading for constitutional law classes. In my law school, the Constitution was a pocket part. It was like an appendix attached to the constitutional law, textbook. The textbook was about three and a half to four inches thick and it's chock full of Supreme Court opinions. Well, the actual Constitution was not the assigned reading. Do you understand that? So our assigned, reading was just to hear and read and learn what other justices have said about the constitution. But the U.S. constitution itself was something we had to read on our own time. Then you wonder, how do we get so many judges that provide unconstitutional readings? It's like Judge Posner in the 7th Circuit said, We don't need to read the history, the precedent and the Constitution. The Constitution is what we judges say it is.

David Wheaton: The COVID era was a sad example of falsehoods
>> Joseph Parker: Discerning truth from Deception this is David Wheaton, host of the Christian Worldview. If Satan or those he influences can persuade someone to believe a lie, that is a victory for him. The Cove era was a sad example of this. For three years our country was taken over by falsehoods. Six foot social distancing and masking were not true science and the vaccine didn't protect people from getting or spreading the virus. Whether it's Covid or the next conspiracy theory, the Bible calls for Christians to examine everything carefully, hold fast to that which is good, abstain from every form of evil. Judge Posner said judges should ignore historical context for US Constitution
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner. Abraham Hamilton III here, Guys, I'm not joking. So Judge Posner, who served in the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, infamously, in my view, made the argument that he doesn't care about the constitutional text. It doesn't matter what it says. It doesn't matter what people in the late 18th century thought. This is what he would argue. He said. In fact, he said judges should ignore the historical context for the US Constitution if modern conditions require it. That was his argument. And, it is Chief justice, former Chief Justice Charles Evans Hughes who said, we are under a Constitution, but the Constitution is what the judges say it is. And so many people wonder, well, how do you get. How do you get there? Well, if you are trained in law school, that the Constitution is irrelevant to your coursework. But, guys, these are symptoms. Here's another symptom for you. And, and people brought up things about this teacher's past and his character, which. That's all fair game. You put stuff out in public, you know, you.
>> Joseph Parker: You.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: You subject yourself to the scrutiny that will flow from it. But there's a logical fallacy. It's called an ad hominem attack. Ad hominem is Latin for that, Latin for the expression to the man. So the way that ad hominem attacks usually work is that when a person makes an assertion and the opponent cannot contend against the assertion, the opponent attempts to invalidate the assertion by attacking the person. But if you notice, what remains unaddressed is the assertion that is made. So I would not. I'm not going to try to defend this man's past or anything about his history. But I do want to say and want to ask, was he telling the truth and what he said? And what I'm talking about is, unfortunately, a video that went viral because you have a teacher in the Houston Independent School District, a teacher who teaches seniors at Phillis Wheatley High School in Houston, Texas. Think about this. Phyllis Wheatley. Do you remember who Phyllis Wheatley was from History. And at Phillis Wheatley High School, this man, the teacher is named Daryl.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: is it Daryl? I mean, his last name was William? Darius. Darius Williams. Darius Williams. Man, this is. This is so sad. I don't even really. I wish I didn't have to talk about this. I take no pleasure in this. And I know some people think, well, you know, Abe is on the HSLDA board and talks about homeschooling all the time. This is why, guys, because I know this is happening. I know these kind of things are happening, and they will continue to happen unless we make a change. And I'm gonna tell you why I'm saying that. Darius Williams is a teacher at Phyllis Wheatley High School in Houston, Texas, in the Fifth Ward.
>> Speaker C: And.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: And he particularly is a new education system and career and technical education teacher. They call it cte. The district describes CTE as a collection of courses designed to prepare students for further education and careers in current or emerging professions. The Houston Independent School District says its CTE programs prepare students for industry certifications, while some programs also offer dual credit opportunities that allow students to earn college credit while still in High school, where there's one small problem. Because on the second day of school Mr. Williams gave his students, which consisted of seniors, largely an assignment that required them to read two paragraphs and fill in blanks. And according to Mr. M. Williams, his students cannot read that. There were several students that cannot read and they were seniors in high school. With tear filled red eyes, Darius Williams lamented the condition of the seniors in his class on the second day of school. Listen to and watch clip number seven. Clip seven, go.
>> Speaker C: I literally broke down in the middle of class because. I'm teaching seniors. These kids are leaving high school and going to college hopefully after they finish. We had two paragraphs to read, one sentence complete to write. I gave them the sentence stamps. I basically completed the sentence for them. In the model, he's a 17 and 18 year old kid and they couldn't fill in four words. Four words. I gave them the scenario, we annotated together. I gave them the answers before we even had the problem and they couldn't do it.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: What do you say to that man? The man said he gave them the answers. He watched the whole video. He posted, he posted this on his personal social media accounts and he did it during his lunch break. He was at school or during his lunch break when he posted this and he said he gave them the answers and he's in. He said the students can reason, they can articulate what they think, what they feel verbally. But the problem is when you have to reduce it to writing M. When you have to put it on paper, when you have to put it in print. And these are seniors in high school. Now rewind the tape. He said this is the second day of school. So what's been going on the previous 11 years of these children's education? He's not saying every child in the school. He's saying that these are students that were in his class. There've been lots of people who've been upset. Why would you, why would you blast these children in public? Why you want to say all of this in public? And to which I just, I simply ask, do you think these people are really upset for the children's sake or are they upset that he has exposed what's really happening? What has happened? Are they upset because the children are embarrassed? Which children? He didn't name anybody. We in the whole. I found his school. He had his, the lanyard for the school around his neck. Seniors, 17 and 8 year olds can't read. Now if you've been listening to this program, I've been telling you about this with the National Assessment of Educational Progress. It's showing, the data is showing that you have a significant percentage of American children who cannot read near being graduated from high schools.
Houston ISD superintendent says illiteracy at high school was worse four years ago
How is that possible? Why is that being allowed? That didn't make you mad enough? Check this out. Because, Phillis Wheatley High School was one of, I think, about 130 schools that were taken over by the state in the Houston area. Houston, ISD is the largest in the state of Texas. And the superintendent, Mike Miles, was challenged at a board meeting after Mr. Williams video came out. And was Mike Miles shocked and appalled? Not really. I know what he said. Quote, we've always had this. We've always had this. That's what he said. We've always had this. Four years ago, it was worse. Oh, oh. Superintendent MIKE so you telling me children can't read now? And children ain't been able to read at Phillis Wheatley High School for years and four years ago, the illiteracy of the high school students was worse than it is now? He goes on. I'll go back to the quote, we've always had this. Four years ago it was worse. There were more 11th graders and 12th graders who could not read at grade level and do math at grade level. So it's serious business. Give you the rest of his quote. He goes on. Is that new information? I don't think it's new information. Now, this is pause. Now, this is the superintendent. He's admitting children in that school haven't been able to read for years. In fact, the state stepped in. I did a little research and, took over Phyllis Wheatley's Phyllis Wheatley high school after seven consecutive years of failing grades in 2019, and the takeover, sorry, took place in 2023 because of COVID they didn't have, They didn't grade the school in 2020, 21, and then 22, I believe is. I think they had a C grade. But the superintendent is saying, oh, yeah, yeah, this ain't nothing new. Children at fellas, we ain't been able to read for years. Specifically 11 and 12 graders haven't been able to read at grade level. We've known this. Here's the question that I have as an American citizen, as a parent, as a taxpayer, why are we allowing our, tax dollars to go to schools where you have 12, 11 to 12 graders who can't read?
>> Speaker C: Is that the only school?
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Oh, certainly not.
>> Joseph Parker: Yeah.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Bobby says that the only school. Of course not. I've gone through the states to where the spending on average per pupil is hired in private schools in the area. But the children can't read. Why do we keep doing this? Why do we keep doing this? I know there are lots of factors that contribute, I'm not ignorant to what life is like in places like fifth Ward, Texas. I know very well. And guess what else? I know children can learn how to read in the hood. I know that. Guys, this is disgusting. This is despicable. And what I want you to see is this confluence of events and pay attention to these stories we've been communicating. Remember last week when we, toward the end of the week, we had Professor Samuel Moyn from Yale Law School saying that we need to wait votes in favor of children because children's interests need to be represented via vote. And he's saying that we need to have other voters, almost like the vouching for voting in Minnesota. We need to have other voters get votes to have more weight to represent the interests of the children and not the children's own parents. What about the children who can't read? We talking about them too? Samuel Mourn? We talking about them too. And with all of this, even like it's remarkable how the so called wnba, and I'm calling it so called because of what they're acting, The wnba. Don't know what the W stands for. The whatever. NBA. The wow. NBA.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: The who?
>> Abraham Hamilton III: NBA. You got a whole league, but you can't define what a woman is or won't define what a woman is. And isn't it interesting, following a Supreme Court justice hearing, now we're seeing the exact same ideology. Oh, in culture. Go figure how that happens. All of these things guys are not the root, they are symptoms of the root.
We as a nation have rejected the God of the Bible
What is the root? We as a nation have rejected the God of the Bible. We as a nation, not individuals. I know the majority of you guys listening to me right now are born again. Holy Ghost filled fire, baptized. I know that. But our nation is what I'm talking about. Our nation largely has turned away from the Lord. So when we reject the Creator, we become voluntarily confused as to how we are to engage in his creation. Romans 1 told us about that. Professing to be wise, they became fools, exchanged the Creator for created things. You see, and the reason why I'm saying this, I don't want anybody to aim at the wrong target as if it is the cause. The fraudulent voting, the lying administrators. You know, I'm, I've been just grieving over the weekend for all of the women who who miscarried, who took the COVID injections because the experts said it was sexy, they were safe. While these same experts behind the scenes saying, man, there's evidence that shows if you take this jab that it provokes miscarriages. And these, this is. These are not news stories, folks. These are real people's lives that are being affected. But all of these things are symptoms of the primary issue, which is why I say regularly that the greatest and most desperate need in our country is repentance. And I don't say that as a throwaway, pie in the sky, never can happen type of thing. I say it as a means to encourage and challenge us to be about our Father's business. You don't have to win the world. God's desire is simply for you to be his witness in your world. Let's be about our Father's business and light up the darkness. Starting right where we live. Hamilton: God has called us to be ambassadors even in this dark moment
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Darkness is not an affirmative force. It simply reoccupies the space vacated by the light.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: This is the, Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: It should be uncomfortable for a believer to live as a hypocrite, delivering people
>> Abraham Hamilton III: out of the bondage of mainstream media and the philosophies of this world.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: God has called you and me to be his ambassadors even in this dark moment. Let's not miss our moment.
Abraham Hamilton: One of the best ways to where limited government can flourish

Hear our most recent program on this topic with author and radio host Steve Dase at thechristianworldview.org and then tune in this weekend as Christian apologist Frank Turek joins us to talk about a young man he mentored, Charlie Kirk.
