Darkness, Hypocrisy, and Being Ambassadors in a Fallen World on The Hamilton Corner
Abraham Hamilton III Darkness is not an affirmative force. It simply reoccupies the space vacated by the light.

Abraham Hamilton III And now the Hamilton Corner.
Introduction to The Hamilton Corner, The Primacy of Family, and God's Institution of Marriage
Abraham Hamilton III Good evening everybody. The day after November 4th in the year of our Lord 2026. This is the Hamilton Corner. I am your host, Abraham Hamilton iii, joined by the corner contingent right across from me, my man 100 grand is Mr. M. Bobby. And in the screening room, produce extraordinaire, often imitated but never duplicated, the real J. Mac. And we are ready to rock and roll with today's edition of the program. At this very moment, many of you, if not most of you, are making your transition from your part time jobs to your full time jobs. Your part time jobs are where you generate an income. Your full time jobs are where you cultivate an outcome. And as you do so, I want to remind you to do so with intentionality, understanding the primacy that God places on family. The family with marriage. At the center is the first human institution that God established for the express purpose of facilitating maximized human flourishing. God could have very easily created the planet filled with 10 billion people at a snap of his finger, so to speak. Thanos from the Marvel movie ain't got nothing on the Lord, but he expressly chose not to do it that way.
Marriage as a Mission Station, Election Night Returns, and Key Races Unfolding
He chose to initiate his order, invite the first man and the first woman to join him in the fruitfulness, multiplication, replenishment of the earth and subduing it, following the articulation of the principle that everything reproduces after its kind. All of this predates the rebellion that transpired in the garden and it is why it is the first institution. Marriage is never meant to solely or merely be a relational context. It is in fact a mission station. It is a mission station. The unfortunate reality is that there has been a normalization of the comfort level of outsourcing that mission station responsibility. Jesus told us the student, when he is fully trained, will be like his teacher. Many of you are like, I am, I am a early riser. I wake up very early in the morning. I usually go to sleep very early most nights. Last night I did not go to sleep early. I was up 3 in the morning watching these returns come in from all across the country. No one predicted this. Seven US Senate seats flipped. To date, there are still two contested seats that are very close. Still, waiting to be determined. The state of Mississippi and the state of Alaska. We have decoy Dan Sullivan in Alaska and in Mississippi, there was a reason why, you know, you had Bill Clinton and, and President Trump all here campaigning for Senate candidates.
Mississippi's Mail-In Ballot Law, Texas Political Shifts, and Heretical Declarations by a Senatorial Candidate
Mississippi has a law that was brought all the way up to the U.S. supreme Court that allows it to count mail in ballots up to five days after the election. So if you're wondering when Mississippi will be called, it'll be somewhere between today and the 8th of November. But as I am talking to you, the state of Texas, one of the states with the largest quantity of megachurches in our country, has all three statewide elected offices in state government, has been flipped to the Democrat Party, one of its U.S. senators. And I'm gonna get into this a lot more later, includes a man who intentionally does great violence to the scripture in order to present himself with a, dare I say, less, melanated Obama like presentation with a willingness to twist the scripture in all sorts of ways where he, he would heretically pronounce God as non binary. He will say that the scripture supports the slaughter of unborn children, even though the Lord himself says, you shall not murder. The Lord himself says, suffer the children to come unto me if any causes any one of these to stumble. Regardless of all of that, he's a man who is, intentionally, dare I say, orientation wise, ambiguous. Yet many in Texas, at a minimum, rejected Ken Paxton in favor of him.
The Probing Analysis from God's Word: Trusting the Lord and Experiencing His Benefits Now
What is going on here? There's lots of political analysis that can be done. We'll get into some of that. but I think the most probing and pertinent analysis is what we get from the Word of God. So we're going to begin the program in Proverbs chapter three. In fact, we're going to go to two separate portions of Scripture today because what we are living in at this moment, guys, is the cumulative impact of a refusal, by and large, for God's people to obey what God has commanded us to, primarily in terms of making disciples. But let me explain. Let me first share with God's word. Said Proverbs 3, a very familiar passage of Scripture, verses 5 through 8, Proverbs chapter 3. The Scripture says this. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him and he will make your path straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes. Fear the Lord and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your body and refreshment to your bones. Now I want you to see when the Scripture at the. In the last verse that I read in verse 8 when it says that refusing to be wise in your own eyes, fearing the Lord and turning away from evil, acknowledging the Lord in all your ways and not leaning to your own understanding, it will be healing to your body and refreshment to your bones. This is one of the proverbs that is meant to communicate that obeying the Lord in this fashion has benefit and applicability in the here and now. This is not, not m merely about a projection into the great by and by. This is some of the efficacy and the benefits of employing this in the here and now. All right?
Understanding Scripture: Avoiding Eisegesis and Embracing True Exegesis for Meaningful Interpretation
Sometimes people misunderstand the scripture. And instead of participating in an exegesis of the text where we allow the Lord to dictate to us what he is saying, instead of reading into the scripture something we have a prior, commitment to, like for I always use the example when the scripture in Jon 14 the Lord says in the King James vs render renders it this way, in my Father's house there are many mansions. Right? They use it. That phrase in the King James version from the 1611 translation of the Bible has caused many a person, even songs to be written, to anticipate the. The. The in, in the eternal state that we'll have 25, 000 square foot houses with seven bathrooms and two kitchens. When the truth is that the word that was Transliterated into the 1611 Bible as mansions was the equivalent in the Greek to a broom closet. Isage in the text causes people to automatically think in my Father's house there's many mansions. Oh, I'm have a big house in heaven. That's isages. That is not exegesis. Exegesis would cause us to recognize no, the Lord is simply saying there's room for you. Even if it's the most humble aspect of what a room could be. That those who are born again will be exceedingly grateful and rejoice over the fact that man, even if it's a broom closet Lord, to be in eternity with you is where I want to be. That's what the text is meant to communicate. Well, here when the scripture says trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean to your own understanding in all your ways, acknowledge him and he will make your path straight. That acknowledgment doesn't mean give m mental assent to God's existence. You know what that mean? You Know, to the big guy upstairs, you know, hat chip to the big guy upstairs.
Experiential Knowing: Exhibiting Confidence in God's Character and Overwhelming Our Circumstances
No. The word acknowledgment in the text comes from the Hebrew word yada, which means to know, to have an experiential knowing. And when you understand the word in the context of the scripture that it's written in, in this passage, what the Lord is saying, that the way you exhibit your confidence and trust in the Lord and not leaning until your own understandings, it means that in all your ways and in every circumstance, you carry forward into that circumstance your knowing of the full character, scope, breadth, width and attributes of the God that you serve. So that when you face what you're facing, you're not facing it merely in your own humanistic disposition, but you're facing it as a son or daughter of the king. And that royal, monarchical, divine monarchy is what overwhelms your perception of the circumstance. Is that your circumstance? You have a difficult time even seeing your circumstance because your God is so big. You know, it's the type of full persuasion that causes a shepherd boy, David, to refuse to acknowledge Goliath as a giant. That's why you read 1st Samuel 17. You never see David refer to Goliath as a giant. He only saw him as one who had the audacity to rival the Lord of hosts. Well, what I want to show you is that the same word was used in a negative example that when yada does not transpire, what are the consequences? Turn with me to Judges, chapter two. Judges, chapter two.
The Consequences of Not Knowing the Lord: A Generation's Departure from Faith and His Works
A provoking set of scriptures. There verses six through ten. This is after Joshua and the elders who lived with him expire. And what happens with God's people? Joshua 2, verse 6. When Joshua had dismissed the people, the sons of Israel went each to his inheritance to possess the land. The people served the Lord all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders who survived Joshua, who had seen all the great work of the Lord which he had done for Israel. Then Joshua, the son of Nun, the servant of the Lord, died at the age of 110, verse 9. And they buried him in the territory of his inheritance in Timnath Erez, in the hill country of Ephraim, north of Mount Gaash. All that generation also were gathered to their fathers, and there arose another generation after them who did not know the Lord, nor the work which he had done for Israel. The word transliterated as no here In Joshua, chapter 2, verse 10 is transliterated from the same Hebrew word. Hebrew Yadah, what the Lord is saying. There arose a generation who did not yadah the Lord who did not carry forward into their future experiences, their future incursions, their future walk, their future existence. They did not carry the knowledge of Yahweh with them.
National Apostasy: Refusing to Know the Lord and the Rise of Godless Ideologies in America
And then if you're familiar with the Book of Judges, you know that from this point on, the rest of the Book of Judges really, is one of the saddest books in scripture to where the people who are named according to their relationship with Yahweh, they turn away from him so vigorously to where they live as though they do not know the Lord. Now why m am I presenting this? Now, brothers and sisters, I want to tell you that last night was an example of what happens in the country when we refuse as a nation to yada the Lord, the nation that has as our, introductory saga. We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights which the Declaration concludes with a solemn prayer before the divine Sovereign of time and eternity. Yet we get to the place to where in the middle of our country, you know, a man would begin his acceptance speech by speaking in Arabic. Mm You have another one in NewSong Hampshire who will mount the platform to celebrate himself as the first out homosexual senator. People openly running on platforms that the undergirding theological commitment is that there is no God. The undergirding theological commitment of Marxism is that God does not exist. And these people are winning races and they're becoming more popular, they're becoming more appealing. They are making incursions into the younger demographics of our own country.
Identifying What's Wrong: Discernment, Political Analysis, and Supporting American Family Radio
Many in our country, and I would argue frankly on both sides of the aisle, recognize that something is wrong. but not many of us know what is wrong nor what must be done about it. Now, when we get to some of the details and the politics, I believe that the Lord is once again attempting to get our attention. But will we have the discernment to understand what it is the Lord is attempting to help us to see? And then will we have the wherewithal to turn as needed? This is a sobering time in our nation's history. Sobering time in our nation's history. That's right. Pastor Carl, the homosexual senator elect mounted the platform to thank his husband, even though the Lord says such celebration is abominable. Foreign. Hello, I'm Abraham Hamilton iii. The Spiritual Condition of the Country: Righteousness Exalts Nations, Sin is a Reproach, and the Source of America's Greatness
Abraham Hamilton III Shining light into the darkness. This is the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
Abraham Hamilton III Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner. Abraham Hamilton III here. As I was explaining in the first segment, People may say, oh, Abe, you're like a broken record. And you know what? That's fine. If I'm telling the truth, I don't mind being a broken record. Well, what we witnessed as a nation yesterday is evidence of the spiritual condition of this country. it is an inescapable reality. It is an inescapable reality that a nation's vitality does not flow from its governmental structure primarily, nor from the people who populate it. Guys, in a constitutional republic with democratic features, where the people have the wherewithal to identify and elect their servant leaders, that election will flow with a consistency from the desires of the hearts of the people that comprise the nation. You can say what you want, but that is the truth. That is the truth. That is the truth. And just because someone may disagree, it doesn't change the fact that it is true. The Lord has said in his word that righteousness exalt a nation. This is Proverbs 14:34. But sin is a reproach to any people. Now think about this. Even with President Trump's slogan, make America great, which he, you know, co op, he borrowed from Ronald Reagan, how often were the questions presented? What makes a nation great? What made our nation great? We can talk about all the time. Remember Alexis de Tocqueville, the French historian, sociopolitical philosopher who sought to identify the distinctions between the American Revolution and the French Revolution? Guys, this is not new. He publishes works in the early 1800s. You know, we had our revolution against Great Britain in the late 1700s. France is right behind us. They chose to pursue a godless revolution that can be personified, that it can be. That is typified by the guillotine happening at the same time, but having two distinct courses. De Tocqueville said it himself on democracy. You know, these are the kinds of things that should be standardized, standard fare for the cultivation of the minds and the hearts of the people in our nation. But how many of our citizens have read on democracy? At least an excerpt from it, Right? De Tocqueville said he sought and searched for the source of America's greatness. He sought it in the banking system, but didn't find it there. He sought it, you know, in its political system. America's political System didn't see it there. He sought it in the halls of its Congress, did not find it there. It was not until. This is his words, guys. It was not until he entered America's churches finding their pulpits aflamed in righteousness that caused him to conclude this is the source of America's greatness. America is great because America is good. Then he offered a warning. When America ceases to be good, she shall cease to be great.
The Problem with Disagreement on De Tocqueville and America's Declining Biblical Worldview
A part of our problem in our nation. First of all, we have a lot of people who've never read de Tocqueville. That's one. But more importantly than that, there are a lot of people who would disagree with de Tocqueville's assertion. Therein lies the problem. Our brother George Barna has been on the show how many times explaining America's population has less than 4% of its populace that has a biblical worldview. Less than 4% of its populace. Now we have a lot of people that will talk about things like affordability and, and you know, gas prices, but have they ever thought about, well, what is it about affordability that makes it attractive to me? What is it that makes things affordable? We talk often about our schools don't teach economics. Yet we continue to send our children to schools that don't teach economics. Do you understand what I'm saying? That all of these things have a core root.
The Imago Dei: Internal Revulsion to Theft, the Deficiency of Biblical Illiteracy, and the Taboo of Religious and Political Discourse
Why do have an internal revulsion to the notions of theft? Theft in and of itself in the disdain for theft is not merely a economic concern. The reason why we have an internal revulsion against theft is because man is made in God's image. And for a man and a woman to be protected in the sanctity of their property is a reflection on the imago day. But when has the last time have we had these thoughts? Have we had these conversations? See, contrary to what people understand, like second Peter, chapter one, all things entertaining life and godliness has been given to us. The Lord warned us through the apostle Peter, if these qualities are yours and they're increasing, they will fortify you against being barren and unproductive in your knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. What are one of the things among those characteristics? Knowledge. Knowledge, a biblical worldview drives the believer to be some of the most studious people in the world. Do you think that would be reflected in the modern disposition of 21st century American Churchians? What I'm explaining folks, is the deficiency at its root. At its root is a spiritual one at its root. But we don't have very many people that want to deal with that because to keep it real, our culture has done a great job of making the truth of God off limits for popular discourse. What is one of the most common reflections? Oh, if you want to have a peaceful gathering, don't discuss what. What are you not supposed to discuss? Religion and politics. Well, if you have an entire society that has been called into this disposition where we cannot discuss and that, what's the core of religion? Theology. What does the word theology mean? It's a big word. It simply means study of God. So. So we can't have popular conversations about the study of God. And then what is politics? Root word is the polis. It's the position of the people as applies to policy. The two. Two foundational considerations we do not discuss in public. And I would add, frankly, many pulpits have bowed out of these conversations. We won't preach the full counsel of God's word. Why? Because we don't want to be political. When the Lord says the earth is the Lord's and the fullness here of the world and the people who do, they're in. There's not a segment of society that God doesn't declare mine over yet. In order to do what? Be kind that we won't talk about it.
Comfortable with Godless Solutions: The Danger of Trimming Hedges and the Necessity of Rooted Discipleship
So what happens is over time, over time, over time, over time, over time, people become comfortable with. With desiring solutions that do not consider the Lord. So what happens over time? You combine that with popular perception of false promises. You know, you said no more foreign wars. We're in a foreign war. You know, we expected the first go round. We had the type of economy. Do you remember the mortgage rate during President Trump's first term? Some of you, like, I can't even think that far back. A lot of people expected that. Then they don't get it. They're frustrated. And so then, so then it's very much like a petulant child. Mean, I'm mad. Well, do you can. Have you considered a downstream consequence? Who cares about the downstream consequences? Everybody's evil. Really, guys, the core of this is spiritual. Now we can play tiddlywinks. We can, we can get lost in the turnout data in Tarrant County, Texas. We can, we can do all of those things which the data hasn't has a place. All of that stuff has a role. But if we don't get the main thing right, we're just trimming around the hedges. You're just trimming around. I remember my grandmother told me a long time ago, Lil A, when you're pulling the weeds, you got to pull it from the root. If you don't pull the weeds from the root, you just biden your time that you're gonna be back out there dealing with the same weeds.
The Famine of God's Word: Pastors Idolizing Offerings Over Preaching the Full Counsel of God
And if we have churches and pastors that are afraid to preach the full council of God's word, they're saying they want to be, they want to be, loving and kind to their parishioners, but the truth is they don't want to run people off because they don't want to, dare I say, impact the, the offering totals. What then? What are you really saying? The truth is, what you're saying is that there's an idol, and the idol used to be greenbacks, but now it's ones and zeros and accounts. And because the ones and zeros and accounts, are what's most important to us, we are willing and think about this. I know this is a, this is a, this is a stinging indictment. But when ones and zeros is what drives your willingness to put preach the full counsel of God's word, you're saying the ones and zeros are more important to you and more worthy of your devotion than the king of glory. Now, I'm not trying to paint with a broad brush. I know there are some, godly faithful pastors all over the country. I get to meet them all over the country. But by and large, there is a famine of the full counsel of God's word. And one of the ways I know this is as I travel, one of the most consistent questions I'm asked is, Abe, can you point me to a solid Bible believing church in my area?
Opportunities to Repent: Busyness, Neglecting Discipleship, and Prioritizing Activities Over Nurturing Children
God has the capacity, if it was his will, to very Sodom and Gomorrah, like judge America with an annihilation instantly. But the God that we serve is rich in mercy, so he gives us opportunities to repent. Will we discern the times that we're in and will we obey? That's the question for some of us. Our lives are so busy, we don't have time in our schedules to be bothered with the discipleship responsibility. You know, some of us will complain about the prevalence of fatherlessness, but we will not get involved in the lives of people that are immediately around us. Even though we have a command from scripture, Even though we have commands from scripture, the Bible gives us direct instruction. Older women to pour into younger women, older men pouring into younger men. Fathers, do not exasperate your children, rather rear them in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. But we have other priorities. You know, I mean, I don't have time for the nurture and admonition because I got, you know, travel, soccer, you know, I got a prospect my son might make. He's going to make it to the show. We got travel, baseball. We got to make it. We don't have time. We going, all right, hurry up, get in the car. We going to try to do our disciple on the discipling in the, in the car. I'm not throwing shade on that. You can do some things in the car.
Intentional Discipleship: Providing a Biblical Worldview and Guarding Children from Unbiblical Influences
But discipleship is not a product of, of osmosis. It's the feature of intentionality. And it takes time. And it takes time. Have we considered offering our children a full understanding in a biblical worldview? What's the, what does the scripture say about economics? What's the biblical worldview as it applies to the sanctity of human life? What is a biblical worldview of sexuality at age appropriate stages? What is a biblical worldview of welfare? Does the scripture support or oppose welfare? Have we, have we considered any of these things? Not only have we considered it, have we offered it to our children or are we sending them out to the wild blue yonder and we're letting Professor Blue Haired Lesbian become the disciple in chief for our children? And they were wondering, I don't know what happened to my child. My child has come home with all of these ideas and golly gee, I don't know how this happened. I can tell you how it happened. Every student, when fully trained, will be like his or her teacher.
Returning to Our First Love: Obedience, Disappointment, and the State of Souls in America
One of the main things that the Lord is attempting to grasp our attention with is that the body of Christ must return first and foremost to our first love, Which is him, that we love nothing more than Him. There's nothing we're committed to beyond Him. He is our first, he is our last. And because we love him, we obey what he commands us to do. When you think about what transpired in our country yesterday, what's the foremost reaction? Are you disappointed? Are you upset and you're disappointed? What are you disappointed about? If you're upset, what are you upset about? And has any of that included the state of the souls of the people? Have you thought about that? Like the NewSong Hampshire senator? And look, I'm right there with you.
Celebrating Damnation: A Culture That Glorifies Sin and Marks It as a Milestone in History
I say, Lord, he doesn't realize he's on the stage celebrating his damnation unless he repents. Now, I'm telling y', all, that's not a natural reaction for me, but that's what the grace of God requires. He's celebrating the very Thing that will condemn him eternally unless he repents. Lord, open his eyes before it's too late. But instead, we have a culture that not only celebrates it, but will see his position as the first out senator as a marked time in history. God forbid. It's a marked time in history, but not in the way you think. Not in the way that you think.
The Bottom Line: Beyond Political Parties, Transcendent Truth, and God's Ordained Purpose for Us
Amen, Sister Anne. I was motivated to be more committed to my own Christian walk and being more committed to sharing Jesus. Amen. Guys. This, it seems like it's an oversimplification. And I know for some people, for some people it's not going to be enough. You know why? Because we've been conditioned to have all of our eggs in the basket on Rs and Ds and on, you know, this policy versus that policy. Now, make no mistake about it, the policies concern me. I mean, buckle up, buttercup. This is about to be a bumpy ride for these next couple years. You know, the most likely reality is that President Trump is going to. He said it. Take out his veto pin and veto. A lot of craziness, but the craziness is coming, guys, the creek. The craziness is coming. And we've seen biblical examples and we're like, man, how did that happen? You know, you had an opportunity for Jesus of Barabbas and give a Barabbah, give us Bara. What? What? But happened. It happened. You know, you have Deuteronomy 8, the subsequent kings of Israel giving instructions to not only read the the book of the Law, but have their own handwritten copy that they're supposed to write in the presence of the Levites. And then you get down the line, the history timeline. And Josiah is surprised to learn, man, there's this thing called the Book of the Law. How did it get there? The same way, the same trajectory we are on right now. But the question is, what will we do about it? God has ordained you and me for this moment, guys. This is not a time to be despondent. This is not a time to be. All is lost. No, all is not lost at all. You know why? Because the King of Kings is not subject to term limits. He's not subject to anybody's ballot, but he's placed you and I in our nation for such a time as this. Will we be sober by the moment, circumspect in the moment, and be found faithful to what God is requiring of us in this time? That is the issue far before we get to demographic data and politics,

Election Results Analysis: Senate Flips, House Majorities, and the Rise of Radical Ideologies
Abraham Hamilton III The Hamilton Corner podcast and one minute commentaries are available at afr.net back to the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
Abraham Hamilton III Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner. Abraham Hamilton III here as I'm here talking to you. There's a seven seat flip in the U.S. senate where the current tally is 54 Democrat senators or senators who caucus with the Democrats versus 44 Republicans. That was not anticipated. You have two outstanding sitting races still waiting, Mississippi and Alaska. We have the Decoy Dan in Alaska and you have, the absentee and mail in ballots that are slated to be counted up until five days post election day. And Mississippi, Mississippi, you have a huge number of seats in the House of Representatives that have been flipped. Last count I saw before coming onto the air, Democrats have 244 seats in the House of Representatives, majority of which would have only been 2:18. So they're not only going to have a majority, but it's going to be a significant majority. House Speaker Mike Johnson has already announced that he is not going to run for the leadership of the Republican Party as a House minority. So that would be fellow Louisianan Steve Scalise and Ohio and Jim Jordan that will be vying for that position. As I mentioned, you have in the state of Texas Faux Minister James Talarico, who will lie on the Lord with a straight face. You have the same thing with unless he repents. They're describing it as a megachurch pastor in Kansas. The U.S. senator in Kansas who has now become the first Democrat elected to the U.S. senate from Kansas since the 1930s. Adam Hamilton is his name. He is a Antichrist, false teacher in the United Methodist denomination who skews the person and work of Christ. But remember what the Scripture says about false teachers. The prevalence of false teachers is not only because what they do and say, but because of the itching ears that want to hear it. So this is why I'm presenting this to you. You want to talk about an epidemic in the United States of America. Biblical illiteracy is an epidemic and Biblical illiteracy produces Biblical infidelity where men reject the God of the Bible and accumulate for themselves a God after their own likeness, which is an idol. And it is that biblical infidelity that produces the blue tsunami. Because when you boil it down, you know, to this lowest common denominator where Marxism is, it's just covetousness exported to the populace at large, which is a sin. That's what it is. You know, NewSong Orleans had a song you. I, want it. You got it. Well, why can you have that? You know, you have regressive saying things. I was talking to Bobby about this during the break. They said we need to nationalize Starlink. Elon Musk can't have all of that power in his hands privately. Must be nationalized. So Elon, you build it, we take it. In other words. You have this covetousness that is with the Marxists, open Marxists, that they'll link up with anybody. So you find the Islamist saying, well, hey, we'll roll with y'. All. We can run. We'll roll with y'. All. And this here's the, here's the pinnacle of the most oxymoronic reality. Things like queers for Palestine. Like think about it and think about the change of one small preposition. Queers for Palestine. Queers in Palestine. Bueller, what would happen to a queer in so called Palestine? What happened? You tell me. Here's the thing. These, these people know this, but the Marxists think, well, you know, once we defeat all of the non Marxists, we gonna get the Muslims to heal the Islamists to heal the Islamists are like, once we get all the non Islamists and Marxists, then we're gonna eat the Marxists. Now which one do you think is gonna win? And you don't have to guess. We've seen this play before. We've seen it. We watch film, we have 1400 years of history. And then we have recent history made back in 1979, but I'm talking about all the time. And it's so wild, right? Though, El Sayed in Michigan all along. Oh. Any questions to me about the Muslim Brotherhood? This is just about bigotry. That's just about Islamophobia. So he's not entirely.
The Epidemic of Biblical Illiteracy and Infidelity Producing a Blue Tsunami
He's not entertaining any of those questions. But the first thing he does when he gets on the stage to announce his. His to do his victory speech, what's the first thing he does? What's the first thing he does? Starts speaking Arabic. Gee, I wonder if that's a coincidence.
Ballot Initiatives: Affirming Life, Prohibiting Same-Sex Marriage, and Fortifying Against Federal Overturns
I was going to mention something about the state ballot initiatives. Even that was a mixed bag. in states like Missouri, Idaho, Virginia, they had ballot measures that would affirm the sanctity of human life. Those things fell. Some of those states enshrined the right to slaughter unborn children to them for entire gestational period into their constitutions. Also in Virginia, there was a ballot, a measure, a ballot measure that proposed to remove the state's long standing state constitutional provision prohibiting same sex marriage. Well, guess what? That was approved. That was approved. And people asking what was, what's the significance of that? If the Obergefell decision is ever would have ever been overturned, if the Respectful Marriage act would have ever been reversed, then the state laws protecting the sanctity of marriage would have automatically sprung into existence. So this is what I'm saying. People who would say, oh, hey, why you care about that? the federal, the federal, the federal stuff will nullify the state statutes and things. Well, if that's the case, why did Virginians work so hard to to, to amend their state constitution to allow for same sex marriage if they were going to, if they, the advocates for same sex marriage in Virginia, we're going to rely upon the federal standards.
The Virginia Amendment and State-Level Sanity: Criminalizing Transgenderism and Protecting Women's Sports
Guys, I'm telling you this, this while I don't care when people try to tell me, oh, Abe, you're just a fear monger, you're just this. I'm like, you can say what you want. And I don't mind sounding like a broken record if I'm contending and conveying the truth. The reason why they wanted to remove the state's prohibition in the constitution in Virginia against same sex marriage is because the Virginia regressives wanted to fortify themselves in the event that Obergefeld is ever overturned. That's why, that's why. M m. Now at the same time you had states like Nebraska and Colorado and Arizona that pass laws. Think about this. Even Colorado, I was talking about them yesterday, that passed ballot measures to criminalize or make it illegal to, to trans children. That gives you a little window, guys. States like Arizona and Colorado, they're like, nah, we're not for trans and children Colorado. But at the exact same time Colorado, Colorado also and Washington state, frankly are close to adopting provisions that will protect women's girl sports. Hey, what, how do you, how do you, how, how do you, how do you reconcile that? Right? In Alaska they passed a ballot measure that requires proof of citizenship to vote. It's a state save Act, Save America act that passed in Alaska, passed in Arkansas, passed in Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, South Dakota and Kansas. But in Arizona and California, no thank you. Arizona and California had ballot measures to require ID to vote. They say, no, thank you.
Sliver of Sanity: Responding to God's Warning with Grace and Space, and Recognizing Personal Responsibility
Now, why am I explaining that? I'm explaining that because it shows that even with all of the malaise and with all of the palpable regressivism all across the country, there's a sliver of sanity in various pockets still. Which is why I'm saying what I'm saying. God is offered us a warning to sober us, but we still have grace and space to respond, if we will. If we will. But that window is not going to continue forever, folks. You had the work that Ron DeSantis did over the last eight years in Florida. Florida maintained its Republican delegations, but the margins were far smaller. Far smaller. If things continue as they're going currently, what do you think is going to happen in Florida? I'm saying, guys, we got to wake up. That's what I'm saying. And we have to get out of this mindset. yeah, somebody's going to do something about it. Somebody. No, that somebody is you. That somebody is me.
Death and Discernment: The Sobering Clarity it Brings to a Believer's Life and Priorities
That's the somebody. Somebody's got to stand up and tell the truth. You know, I shared with you guys that, ah, my father, Abraham, Abraham Hamilton Jr. Passed away recently. and we, we had his funeral a couple weeks ago. And, death is very sobering and very clarifying for the believer. Death isn't morbid at all, But the scripture says, as I alluded to in Ecclesiastes 7, it is better to go to a house of mourning than to a house of feasting. For this is the end of every man and the living. Take it to heart that when you consider death, it really causes you to focus on what really is important and what's not important. It really, really, really does.
Dignity and Respect: Beyond Consumption, the Deeper Desires Rooted in God's Image and Child Development
It really, really does. There are things that are happening, like the affordability thing, the desire for dignity, the ability to depress one's way forward. Young people wanting to be able to say, hey, I want to be a man. I don't want to be in my mama's house for all my life. Guys, these are things that are not merely about consumption. Even though our culture and our world wants to make them, make it focused on consumption, there is something deeper than that. We have desires inside of us for dignity and respect because we're made in God's image. And if the people of God would recognize this, we could have the opportunity to respond to this far beyond. Well, what's the latest unemployment numbers? What's the latest inflation numbers? But to be able to recognize that the desire is one for dignity, that's that? That, that is what the desire is. The desire, if you remember when you, if you have young children, remember you have a. Have a young children. That happened with all of my sons and even with my daughters, that, for a while they were content with you feeding their food and cutting up the food. But then they get to a place, say, I can do it, Daddy, I want to cut my own food. Daddy. Daddy, I don't. I don't want to wear diapers no more. I want to use the bathroom. I'm gonna go to the potty like a big boy. Daddy, I don't want to sit. I don't want to stand up. You stand up when you go in. I'm a stand up. Why do you think the children have that? For two reasons. First, because what God puts in them, secondarily, what they see before them. You understand what I'm telling you? So a lot of these things, guys, we have the opportunity and unique ability to help, to drive down beyond the superficial. And I won't say superficial, but I'll say the topical policy analysis to get down to what really is going on.
Economic Disparity: The Disconnect Between Booming Markets and Pockets of Inflation
And it'll help you to recognize that while it is true, the stock market is booming, but you have people at home that they have to make. Now they have to make business decisions. Do I buy the steak or do I buy ground meat? Because though inflation is in my pockets, my paycheck is still the same. And so to have a president to say, what are you talking about? The nation doing better than it ever has been in the history of any country in the world. Guys, you're missing, you're missing the whole boat. You're missing the whole boat. But it's a, it's a, it's a voluntary miss because there's such a desire to protect my legacy and to protect my perception that you can't really hear what's really being stated.
Transcendent Truth: Moving Beyond Political Ping Pong and the Death Spiral of Regressivism
And so when the conversation does not drill down to transcendent truth, then it becomes just a ping pong of, well, I don't like you. I'm mad at you because think about this. What was the affirmative, affirmative policy presentations that the Democrat candidates made this, this midterm election cycle? Can you recall any. You know, we can. Wait. One. That was. One was Medicare for All. I told you yesterday. And Bobby and I were talking about during the break. Oh, these, these healthcare premium prices out of control. Yeah, yeah. Who broke that? Y' all want to remind me who broke that? Wasn't there a legislation. What was it called again, Bobby? The affordable care. Didn't y' all say y' all was gonna fix that before? So, so so how come so so how come your desire for healthcare being fixed all of a sudden that's Donald Trump problem Laughs I'm saying it goes beyond that guys. What I'm saying. Yeah that campaign impeach, impeach, impeach we hate down over and over. There was no affirmative vision presented for the country. But if we do not anchor in transcendent truth, we'll be left with nothing beyond this. The ping ponging and political gang banging that will continue on and continue on and lurching further and further into the death spiral of regressivism and calcified hearts against the true and living God. This is not a time to be black pilled or to kite out of the game. This is a time to be about a father's business. There's work to be done.
