Trusting the Lord: Jeremiah's Contrast Between Cursed and Blessed Man

Jeremiah chapter 17, verse 5. Thus says the Lord. Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength. Whose heart turns away from the Lord. He is like a shrub in the desert and shall not see any good. Come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness in an uninhabited salt land. Blessed is the man whose trusts. I'm m sorry. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water that sends out its roots by the stream and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit. Oh man, what a powerful, powerful verse.
Regard God as Our Trust Amidst Societal Changes and Biblical Illiteracy
Verses of Scripture with the Lord, divinely inspires the prophet Jeremiah to convey and it is an absolute truth. Curse is a man whose trust is man who trusts in man. The person who makes flesh his strength. Then the Lord offers that contrast. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose trust is, is the Lord. Think about in our time, oftentimes people, especially when you have, significant financial means, you'll create trusts in family trusts. And the Lord is saying that the blessing is when we regard him as our trust. And one thing I want to point out which I find to be particularly, noteworthy in the time that we're in now where you have, you know, the, the ascension of Islam in America. We talked yesterday about the Islamic expressed objective of making America the, an Islamic State by 2050. You know, you have the ascension of Marxism in America right now the Democratic Socialists of America is the largest Marxist organization in American history, right? There's a proliferation of biblical illiteracy in our country. There's a proliferation of constitutional illiteracy. But we do not have to be afraid of the environment. God has ordained us for this moment. And this scripture particularly points out that the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord, he is like a tree planted by water that sends out its roots by the stream.
A Tree Planted by Water: Resilience in Hostile Environments and Elisha's Spiritual Warfare
And looking at this part, and who does not fear when heat comes here, the Lord, through the prophet Jeremiah is using a word picture, you know, of a tree planted by a stream. But a tree that is firmly planted, that is abiding in its life source, is not afraid. When there's an external environmental condition that becomes hostile to its existence, that tree is not afraid. You know why? Because its leaves remain green. How can a tree's leaves remain green in the midst of a, of a heat heated environment? Because it's planted, it's planted by the streams of water. This type of tree is not anxious in the year of drought, because even in a year of drought, this tree continues to bear fruit. Brothers and sisters, I believe this is a depiction of how God would have us view his remnant in our land. This is a picture how God will have us view his positioning of us in our land, though we may be surrounded. I was talking in the last hour about Elisha when the Aramean king, the Syrian king, was seeking to make war on Israel, right? But because there's a prophet in Israel, God will reveal to Elisha what the battle plans would be for the enemy, the hostile adversary. And so Elisha would advise the king of Israel, say, listen, don't go that way because there's a booby trap, there's an ambush over there. And it happened so repetitively that the king of Syria started to distrust his own cabinet, distrust his own advisors, and began to say, which of you is a spy for the nation of Israel? And then one of his advisors kind of sheepishly raised his hand and says, hold up, hold up there, oh king, nobody is betraying you. Nobody is a spy playing a double agent for Israel. See, what happened was there's a prophet, there's a prophet of God in Israel. See, there's a prophet of God in Israel. Isn't it amazing? Even in an environment where hostilities abound that even the wicked enemy can recognize. Wait a minute, there's a prophet of God in Israel. And he says, the prophet of God is the one informing the king of Israel.
Recognizing God's Ordained Purpose in Challenging Times: More With Us Than Them
What your strategies are. So, because sin makes you stupid, the king of Syria Even though he can't even execute his battle plans well, comes up with the ridiculous solution, well, let's go and arrest Elijah so we can kill him. And so they, they, they, they do their. Their espionage. They find out Elijah's hometown, which was in Dothan, and then they send their military back boots and, and, and all of the Marchy marches all the way down to Dothan, and they surround the city. And Elisha's young servant was out and about, and he sees the. The horde of the Syrian army, and he's afraid. He runs to find Elisha, and he cries out, oh, oh, my lord, Elisha, what are we going to do? And Elisha, very calmly yet directly says, lord, open this young man's eyes. Open his eyes. That he might see that there are more with us than are, with them. Brothers and sisters, what I am telling you is that the occasion that we find ourselves in is not a coincidental. A coincidental occurrence. God has ordained you and I for this moment. God has planted us for this moment. There's not one of us who said, you know what? I want to make sure I'm m alive in the 21st century where you have a city supreme court justice who doesn't know what a woman is. I want to be alive when you have like, a WNBA that. What, what's the W stand for? Bobby M. You want to tell them what's the W stand for? But they won't say that you cannot have testosterone dominant DNA in the playing the basketball league. They won't say that. But God has ordained you and I for this moment. Not for us to cower, for us to recognize there are more with us than are, with them, that are more for us than are, for them. They can claim to have the armies. They can claim to have all of this cultural influence. They can claim to have all of this potency. But before a high and hol God, there are paltry resistance. And God can do whatever he wills, however he wills. But he's sovereignly decided that he wants to use his people as his hands and feet.

And that blessed man is planted like a tree by the water who sends out its roots by the stream. And that tree, the blessed man does not fear when the heat comes. The blessed man is not anxious in the year of drought, not anxious in the year of drought. Because the blessed man's leaves remain green.

The blessed man ceases not to produce fruit. Guys, this is our heritage in the Lord. This is what is available to us. Speaking Truth with Love: Addressing Gender Identity and Body Dysmorphia

France's Unrest: Mass Migration, Islam's Influence, and Cultural Marxist Ideology

They're having their, what's been described as protest to where a quarter million people have hit the streets. And they're saying it started in schools where you have school children attacking and assaulting teachers and things of that nature. But President Trump wade into the frame. He says, no, no, no, no. This is not the product of mere protest. This is something else. And Jeff, I don't know if you have that screenshot, to show. Yeah, if you would throw that up on the screen so that people can read along with me as, as we, we share that. But President Trump explained that no, no, no, this is not just about, what you might think is just about school children and protests. This is the product of something else, something far different than what President Trump shared. And he posted this first on Truth, Social. He said, quote, what's happening in France is nothing less than out of control mass migration. This isn't about schools. This is about Islam wanting to take over a once great country. In quote, and I want to say in addition to that, make no mistake about it, there are people in our country who would like to see what's happening in France be repeated right here. Organized Chaos and Immigration Without Assimilation: The Invasion of Cultural Marxism

Abraham Hamilton III because I think it's important to show that, that we disagree with, the government.
Speaker E The demonstrations began on September 17 over overcrowded classrooms and dilapidated buildings. Some, have turned violent, leading to more than 6,500 arrests of mostly teenagers angry at France's government, long burdened by high debt and political gridlock. At first, today's protests were mostly peaceful, but the march was met by a heavy police presence in Nation Square as protesters lit dumpsters on fire and threw rocks.
Abraham Hamilton III There we go, guys. It's literally on fire. Now, if you believe that this is just some organic movement, listen, I got some property in the Arctic to sell, guys. Just as we face in our own country, there are people that are, fomenting organized chaos. They are seeking to use a chaotic environment as a vehicle to make inroads to. Stop me if you heard this before. Fundamentally transform France. And, you know, you know, it's funny, my wife and I, we have friends who live in Canada, and they say Canada is widely regarded as the salad bowl, not a melting pot. Because in Canada, for years, you've had, massive amounts of migration into Canada, but there is no effort to assimilate into Canada. The effort is simply to carve out your own ethnic corner of Canada and make it a lot like the nation you came from. And they've succumbed to that in the entire reality. And this is. People get upset at this formulation, but this is the foundational truth.
The Radical Idea of Assimilation: Learning the Language of Your Adopted Country
Immigration without assimilation, guys, is an invasion. That is what it is. immigration without assimilation is an invasion. You know, I've long said, why is it that we don't require something very simple like, you know, English competency to come to our country? Do you know, if you migrate to Japan, in order to become a citizen in Japan, you have to learn Japanese. Do you know that? Do you realize that it's kind of a radical idea? You know, if you actually want to become a citizen and not a visitor now, you can visit Japan and speak whatever language you want, but if you're going to become a citizen of Japan, a naturalized citizen of Japan, you have to learn Japanese. Isn't that a radical idea? Isn't that a radical idea?
Cultural Marxism's Erosion Strategy: Weakening Society Through Death by a Thousand Cuts
No, it's not a radical idea, but we've been sold this, this really, this, this cultural Marxist ideology. And sometimes people don't get caught up in the buzz, in the terminology and view them as buzzwords, and they check out. But that is literally the Gramsian strategy to Balkanize the society, to weaken it not by direct confrontation, but by death by a Thousand cuts, so to speak, that you erode and erode and erode and erode and you get to the place to where, oh, guess what? You have a lot of people who are in, in the United States of America who hate America. How did that happen? Now our nation, I'll be the first to tell you that our nation isn't perfect. There is no such thing as a perfect nation in the world. But for people to act as if America is nothing but evil, that's insane. Because while you're saying that, why is there such a line of people who want to come to our country? Last time I checked, I didn't see, you know, an open borders influx of folks trying to break into Cuba. I haven't seen, I haven't seen a whole bunch of folks trying to break in to pledge their allegiance, to pledge their lives, their fortune and the sacred honor to the Ayatollah in Iran. I hadn't seen that. I hadn't seen that. Hadn't seen that. Hadn't. Hadn't seen a whole bunch of people trying to break into Mogadishu. Hadn't seen a whole bunch of. I hadn't seen none of that. None of that. Which is why it's always so remarkable to me because you have people in our country that are agitators that would say America is just such a horrible place for minorities and, and that they are the exact same people that want to try to invite minorities from all over the world to invite people from all over the world to come to our country to be minorities.

Jeff Chamblee One time in the past when I, used to kind of spearhead what we do with our semiannual share a thonstor. we used to have it in a very tight kind of environment room. It was very small compared to what we have today. And there was generally, by the time we got going, you might say it was organized chaos because you had Phones ringing and you had people all around. And of course we didn't do anything on, computer monitors. Everything was done with a pen and paper and so forth. So you know, there was a lot of camaraderie, but you know, there was just a lot of confusion, if you will, going on at the same time. It was glorious confusion, but it was confusing. And I never will forget that in the midst of all of the hubbub, the sounds that were going on, on all around us, I happened to notice out of the corner of my eye that off in one corner of the room there was Don. And I, knew that he had had one of his grandsons and that he had brought him in with him. And he just kind of, you know, was sitting there in his own world with this grandchild with all of this going on around us. And he was just sitting there changing his diaper and totally oblivious to everything else. And I've always thought that that was such a, you know, just an important moment and it captured what he really was about as a leader of a ministry like the American Family association that, you know, hey, this was an important part time for us.

Brazil of course, is the largest prize of all. And the son of former president, Jair Bolsonaro, did phenomenally well in the first, round of the presidential election on Sunday and is really the favorite to win on October 25th in the second round as well.
Abraham Hamilton III Now this is what you have to understand, especially in the Bolsonaro case. So the former Brazilian president was Jair Bolsonaro. This is the guy who was being described as a Brazilian Trump. This is a guy who, the regressive government who came in after him, they literally put him in jail.

He is right now, as I'm talking to you, on house arrest in Brazil. He's on house arrest. Well, see, what happened was that backfired on them boomerang style, bigly, bigly. Why am I saying that? Well, the leading candidate to be the newly elected president in Brazil right now is Dair Bolsonaro's son, Flavio Bolsonaro. As you just heard in the clip, Flavio Bolsonaro put the Mollywop on the incumbent left wing, Marxist loving president in Brazil and is, yes, and is, is the leading candidate. Their election will be October 25th. He is widely expected. Now think about this. The son of the former president who was on house arrest is about to be elected President of Brazil. My wife sent a clip to me of Flavio on live in Brazil, praying, asking God to bless Brazil and saying to God that he knows that God has appointed him to be Brazil's next president and asking God to cause favor for his nation to accompany, his election as president. I mean, the man turned red as he's praying on live TV for their country. Not only that, Flavio, as I mentioned, is the lead candidate to be president. He, he defeated the leftist incumbent Luis Ignacio Lula da Silva in the first round of the country's elections this past weekend. Then that's only a little bit of the story. Then you have Jair Bolsonaro, his wife Myshel Bolsonaro, she won an election to the Federal Senate, as did Flavio's younger brother. Flavio's younger brother, Carlos Bolsonaro is going to the Senate with his mama. Now think about this. Older brother, younger brother and mama going into the government. Younger brother expected, I mean, older brother expected to be president, younger brother expected to be in the Senate. Mama's going to be in the Senate with him. You think that's it. That's not even it. We go even further because then you have Flavio's another younger brother named Carlos, Carlos Bolsonaro also got elected to serve as the federal deputy. And a third son of Jair Bolsonaro, Jair Renan Bolsonaro was elected to serve.

Oh man, what a powerful, powerful verse.
Regard God as Our Trust Amidst Societal Changes and Biblical Illiteracy
Verses of Scripture with the Lord, divinely inspires the prophet Jeremiah to convey and it is an absolute truth. Curse is a man whose trust is man who trusts in man. The person who makes flesh his strength. Then the Lord offers that contrast. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose trust is, is the Lord. Think about in our time, oftentimes people, especially when you have, significant financial means, you'll create trusts in family trusts. And the Lord is saying that the blessing is when we regard him as our trust. And one thing I want to point out which I find to be particularly, noteworthy in the time that we're in now where you have, you know, the, the ascension of Islam in America. We talked yesterday about the Islamic expressed objective of making America the, an Islamic State by 2050. You know, you have the ascension of Marxism in America right now the Democratic Socialists of America is the largest Marxist organization in American history, right? There's a proliferation of biblical illiteracy in our country. There's a proliferation of constitutional illiteracy. But we do not have to be afraid of the environment. God has ordained us for this moment. And this scripture particularly points out that the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord, he is like a tree planted by water that sends out its roots by the stream.
A Tree Planted by Water: Resilience in Hostile Environments and Elisha's Spiritual Warfare
And looking at this part, and who does not fear when heat comes here, the Lord, through the prophet Jeremiah is using a word picture, you know, of a tree planted by a stream. But a tree that is firmly planted, that is abiding in its life source, is not afraid. When there's an external environmental condition that becomes hostile to its existence, that tree is not afraid. You know why? Because its leaves remain green. How can a tree's leaves remain green in the midst of a, of a heat heated environment? Because it's planted, it's planted by the streams of water. This type of tree is not anxious in the year of drought, because even in a year of drought, this tree continues to bear fruit. Brothers and sisters, I believe this is a depiction of how God would have us view his remnant in our land. This is a picture how God will have us view his positioning of us in our land, though we may be surrounded. I was talking in the last hour about Elisha when the Aramean king, the Syrian king, was seeking to make war on Israel, right? But because there's a prophet in Israel, God will reveal to Elisha what the battle plans would be for the enemy, the hostile adversary. And so Elisha would advise the king of Israel, say, listen, don't go that way because there's a booby trap, there's an ambush over there. And it happened so repetitively that the king of Syria started to distrust his own cabinet, distrust his own advisors, and began to say, which of you is a spy for the nation of Israel? And then one of his advisors kind of sheepishly raised his hand and says, hold up, hold up there, oh king, nobody is betraying you. Nobody is a spy playing a double agent for Israel. See, what happened was there's a prophet, there's a prophet of God in Israel. See, there's a prophet of God in Israel. Isn't it amazing? Even in an environment where hostilities abound that even the wicked enemy can recognize. Wait a minute, there's a prophet of God in Israel. And he says, the prophet of God is the one informing the king of Israel.
Recognizing God's Ordained Purpose in Challenging Times: More With Us Than Them
What your strategies are. So, because sin makes you stupid, the king of Syria Even though he can't even execute his battle plans well, comes up with the ridiculous solution, well, let's go and arrest Elijah so we can kill him. And so they, they, they, they do their. Their espionage. They find out Elijah's hometown, which was in Dothan, and then they send their military back boots and, and, and all of the Marchy marches all the way down to Dothan, and they surround the city. And Elisha's young servant was out and about, and he sees the. The horde of the Syrian army, and he's afraid. He runs to find Elisha, and he cries out, oh, oh, my lord, Elisha, what are we going to do? And Elisha, very calmly yet directly says, lord, open this young man's eyes. Open his eyes. That he might see that there are more with us than are, with them. Brothers and sisters, what I am telling you is that the occasion that we find ourselves in is not a coincidental. A coincidental occurrence. God has ordained you and I for this moment. God has planted us for this moment. There's not one of us who said, you know what? I want to make sure I'm m alive in the 21st century where you have a city supreme court justice who doesn't know what a woman is. I want to be alive when you have like, a WNBA that. What, what's the W stand for? Bobby M. You want to tell them what's the W stand for? But they won't say that you cannot have testosterone dominant DNA in the playing the basketball league. They won't say that. But God has ordained you and I for this moment. Not for us to cower, for us to recognize there are more with us than are, with them, that are more for us than are, for them. They can claim to have the armies. They can claim to have all of this cultural influence. They can claim to have all of this potency. But before a high and hol God, there are paltry resistance. And God can do whatever he wills, however he wills. But he's sovereignly decided that he wants to use his people as his hands and feet.

And the Lord literally explains in his word that when he is our, trust, we become the blessed man of Jeremiah 7:17. And that blessed man is planted like a tree by the water who sends out its roots by the stream. And that tree, the blessed man does not fear when the heat comes. The blessed man is not anxious in the year of drought, not anxious in the year of drought. Because the blessed man's leaves remain green.

The blessed man ceases not to produce fruit. Guys, this is our heritage in the Lord. This is what is available to us. Speaking Truth with Love: Addressing Gender Identity and Body Dysmorphia

This is one of the few places where we will not flinch, we will not hesitate to speak the truth of God's word. It cannot happen. We do not say that to be mean or to be hateful or to be any kind of phobic. We say it with a humility and with a grace and with all of the love of Christ. Because it is true. It is cruel to deceive a person who is struggling in confusion and, and to say, you know what? Yes, your confusion is correct. No, that's not loving. And when you apply the same reality that people try to put to those who struggle with body dysmorphia and apply to things like anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. You would never tell a person that's 5'5? £90 and when they look in the mirror that they look overweight. You would never say yes, you are overweight, because that would be cruel. It's similarly cruel to affirm a lie when everything about them screams out being an image bearer of God at the cellular level.

They're having their, what's been described as protest to where a quarter million people have hit the streets. And they're saying it started in schools where you have school children attacking and assaulting teachers and things of that nature. But President Trump wade into the frame. He says, no, no, no, no. This is not the product of mere protest. This is something else. And Jeff, I don't know if you have that screenshot, to show. Yeah, if you would throw that up on the screen so that people can read along with me as, as we, we share that. But President Trump explained that no, no, no, this is not just about, what you might think is just about school children and protests. None of that. Which is why it's always so remarkable to me because you have people in our country that are agitators that would say America is just such a horrible place for minorities and, and that they are the exact same people that want to try to invite minorities from all over the world to invite people from all over the world to come to our country to be minorities.

Jeff Chamblee One time in the past when I, used to kind of spearhead what we do with our semiannual share a thonstor. we used to have it in a very tight kind of environment room. It was very small compared to what we have today. And there was generally, by the time we got going, you might say it was organized chaos because you had Phones ringing and you had people all around. And of course we didn't do anything on, computer monitors. Everything was done with a pen and paper and so forth. So you know, there was a lot of camaraderie, but you know, there was just a lot of confusion, if you will, going on at the same time. It was glorious confusion, but it was confusing. And I never will forget that in the midst of all of the hubbub, the sounds that were going on, on all around us, I happened to notice out of the corner of my eye that off in one corner of the room there was Don. And I, knew that he had had one of his grandsons and that he had brought him in with him. And he just kind of, you know, was sitting there in his own world with this grandchild with all of this going on around us. And he was just sitting there changing his diaper and totally oblivious to everything else. And I've always thought that that was such a, you know, just an important moment and it captured what he really was about as a leader of a ministry like the American Family association that, you know, hey, this was an important part time for us.

And in nations like Argentina, where they have Javier Milei as their nation's leader, he, was able to stave off, ah, left wing challenges and won huge in Argentina's basically legislative elections last year. It's amazing to see and I want to share a bit about what specifically is happening in the Bolsonaro family in Brazil because you remember their left wing government sought to persecute him because he was rightly regarded as Brazil's Trump president. Brazil's Trump, they literally put him in jail. They put him in jail.

All seven have moved in the direction of electing conservatives and throwing out, the left, which has been such a plague on Latin America for so long. Now. Brazil of course, is the largest prize of all. And the son of former president, Jair Bolsonaro, did phenomenally well in the first, round of the presidential election on Sunday and is really the favorite to win on October 25th in the second round as well.
Abraham Hamilton III Now this is what you have to understand, especially in the Bolsonaro case. So the former Brazilian president was Jair Bolsonaro. This is the guy who was being described as a Brazilian Trump. This is a guy who, the regressive government who came in after him, they literally put him in jail.
The Bolsonaro Family's Political Ascendancy: From Persecution to Presidency in Brazil
He is right now, as I'm talking to you, on house arrest in Brazil. He's on house arrest. Well, see, what happened was that backfired on them boomerang style, bigly, bigly. Why am I saying that? Well, the leading candidate to be the newly elected president in Brazil right now is Dair Bolsonaro's son, Flavio Bolsonaro. As you just heard in the clip, Flavio Bolsonaro put the Mollywop on the incumbent left wing, Marxist loving president in Brazil and is, yes, and is, is the leading candidate. Their election will be October 25th. He is widely expected. Now think about this. The son of the former president who was on house arrest is about to be elected President of Brazil. My wife sent a clip to me of Flavio on live in Brazil, praying, asking God to bless Brazil and saying to God that he knows that God has appointed him to be Brazil's next president and asking God to cause favor for his nation to accompany, his election as president. I mean, the man turned red as he's praying on live TV for their country. Not only that, Flavio, as I mentioned, is the lead candidate to be president. He, he defeated the leftist incumbent Luis Ignacio Lula da Silva in the first round of the country's elections this past weekend. Then that's only a little bit of the story. Then you have Jair Bolsonaro, his wife Myshel Bolsonaro, she won an election to the Federal Senate, as did Flavio's younger brother. Flavio's younger brother, Carlos Bolsonaro is going to the Senate with his mama. Now think about this. Older brother, younger brother and mama going into the government. Younger brother expected, I mean, older brother expected to be president, younger brother expected to be in the Senate. Mama's going to be in the Senate with him. You think that's it. That's not even it. We go even further because then you have Flavio's another younger brother named Carlos, Carlos Bolsonaro also got elected to serve as the federal deputy. And a third son of Jair Bolsonaro, Jair Renan Bolsonaro was elected to serve.

That's not even it. Jair Bolsonaro's brother, Renato Bolsonaro, got elected to serve in their federal elections. And so the entire Bolsonaro family is saying, m. I think they're probably going to regret putting the daddy in jail. I foresee a part.

Abraham Hamilton III I think they probably gonna regret that. And then, what do you know? Maybe old Flavio hit his dad with a pardon. You think, you think, Guys, this is, this is crazy what's happening. And I want to reiterate the fact that it's amazing. But seven in a row in the last seven federal elections in Latin and sorry, in Central and South America, it's happened over and over and over. And yes, I'm sure they are frustrated with Marxism in those countries. I don't think that's just a coincidence.

Here we are three years removed from the horrendous, the most grotesque day in Israel's history since the Holocaust where the most Israelis were slaughtered in one day and the majority of them were Israeli civilians, by Hamas, funded, trained and prepared by Iran. And yet in our country you have frankly, evil people who look to mark October 7th as a day of celebration. And I'm talking about demonically inspired people who are Islamists who are looking to see hostility toward the Jewish people. Listen to this will not be a video, this is just audio. And also people will be closely watching Mayor Mamdani in his response today as it is his first year marking the somber anniversary as mayor and he has been very critical of Israel's response to the October 7th attack. There are also many protests planned for today. There are also vigils planned for today. But you'll recall it was in 2023 when military, the militant group Hamas launched the brutal terrorist attack against Israel, killing more than 1200 people and taking 251 hostage. Israel then launched a massive military response in Gaza, which resulted in thousands of Palestinian deaths.
