Election Day Reflections and The Primacy of Family in Cultivating God's View
Abraham Hamilton III Good evening everyone. It is election day in the United States of America. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. Thank you so much for tuning into the program. My name is Abraham Hamilton iii. I am the host of this program, joined by the corner contingent right across from me. My man, 100 grand, Mr. Bobby Roza is in studio and in the screening room. We have produced extraordinaire, often imitated, never duplicated, the real J. Mac, ladies and gentlemen, and we are ready to rock and roll with today's edition of the program. At this very moment, many of you, if not most of you, are making your transition from your part time jobs where you generate an income, to your full time jobs where you cultivate an outcome. And as you do so, I want to remind you to do so with intentionality, understanding the primacy that God places on family in welcoming his view to govern, to guard and to guide your engagement right in your home.
The Family as God's First Institution for Maximizing Human Flourishing and Multigenerational Faithfulness
Of the human institutions that God established, the first of his establishment for the express purposes of maximized human flourishing is the family with marriage at the center. The Lord made that his first institution intentionally because it is the exclusive institution with the primary responsibility for multigenerational Yahweh faithfulness and fidelity cultivated, that is, through the family. Which is why I say routinely what goes on in your house is more important than what goes on in the White House. What happens at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is important, but it's not, more important than what goes on in your house. And if we would welcome the Lord to transform us in our homes, there's no question as to what could happen in society.
God's Unfinished Plan for America and The Confounding of Pundits on Election Day
And I said this, I said this earlier this week. I know there are a lot of people that have their prognostications and things of that nature, but God is the one. And he alone has the final say over when and where he would establish the fact that he's done with America. God is not finished with our nation. And I'm going to tell you, I'll say it right now. I think a lot of pundits are going to be confounded, going to be confounded when this day comes to an end, because there are a lot of people who are liars through polls. There are a lot of people who are deceivers through, political coverage. but God is the one who rules and reigns in the affairs of men, and the earth is the Lord's, the fullnesser of the world, and we who dwell therein. So, as you are making your transition, and I pray that everybody in this audience, you have made your way to your polling location to express your preferences and your pleasure concerning the course our nation will take. The Lord great gave us a reprieve from she who Shall Never be president in 2016, gave us a glimpse of what our country could look like if the regressives got control of the levers of power and levers of servant leadership in our nation granted us a further reprieve in 2024.
The Stark Choice: Marxist Trajectories, Red-Green Alliances, and Ignorance of History
Which way forward will we go? The options before us are pretty stark. They're pretty stark. There's a concerted push in our nation to move our nation along the Marxist trajectory. You have this Rick Green alliance phenomenon where you have the Marxists almost inexplicably, almost inexplicably allied with the Islamists. But the reality is history not only repeats itself, it often rhymes. And those of us who are ignorant to history can find ourselves swooped up in it. I heard somebody say, you know, Abdul Al said in Michigan gives, us a new direction for our nation. What new? So you mean to tell me the Communist Manifesto is new? That's a new phenomenon. Really? That's new. And his familial ties to, the Muslim Brotherhood, working along with the advocates for Marxism. That's new, too. I mean, if you think that's new, I got a 1979 for you. You know, none of these things are new. These things are new. Just because something may be new to an individual doesn't make them new. Perhaps this is why there's been such a concerted effort to use the government indoctrination system to dumb down the American populace.
Seeking God's Word in Jeremiah: Trusting the Lord Versus Trusting in Man
This I m wonder. To the word of God we go. Jeremiah, chapter 17. I want to go here to welcome the Lord to remind us of his word of truth through his word. Jeremiah, chapter 17, verses 5 through 8. I did see that. Pookie. Pookie's hollering at the chat. I did see that. I sure did. Jeremiah, chapter 17. I want to remind you of something, through God's holy word. Better than me. Remind you? Let God remind you of truth through his holy word. This is what the Lord said to the prophet Jeremiah. Thus says the Lord, cursed is the man who trusts mankind and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from the Lord. For he will be like a bush in the desert, and will not see when prosperity comes, but will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, a land of salt without inhabitant. Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose trust is the Lord. For he will be like a tree planted by the water that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat comes, but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious the year of drought, nor cease to yield fruit.
The Blessed Man: Vested Confidence in the Lord and Thriving Amidst Adversity
Nor will it cease to yield fruit. All right. A couple things I want to remind you of. Well, not remind you. The Lord already is telling us through his word. Here the Lord is making a contrast between those who fix their confidence, who rest their trust in the flesh, who make the flesh their fulcrum of expectation and hope and confidence. The Lord says, that man, that person, is cursed. In contrast, the man who was blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord. Then it goes further to say, whose trust is the Lord? The Hebrew word for trust. There is a word that literally means a vested confidence. I remember a long time ago when I was working in Harris county, they had a retirement program. You had to participate in a retirement program for a number of years, and then at a certain point, you vest in that retirement program, which means you get the full. You get full access to the benefits of that program. That same concept of vesting is what the Hebrew word is meant to convey here. Blessed is the man who has a vested confidence in the Lord. Then it goes on to add kind of a broader similar concept to our financial concept of creating a trust like for your family. He's not only blessed is the man who trust is who trusts the Lord. Blessed is the man whose trust is the Lord. Similar to the way financial advisors will encourage, you know, passing wealth through a familial trust. The Lord is saying that blessed is the man whose trust is him. And then notice these next, the next communication using the word picture of a tree planted by living water. He will be like a tree planted by the water that extends its roots by a stream. And m will not fear when the heat comes, but its leaves will be green. What I want you to see is that the blessed man who trusts in the Lord, vested confidence, and whose trust is the Lord, is fortified, established, nourished, and positioned for thriving when the weather is favorable. And even if the weather should Turn unfavorably. The blessed man who trusts in the Lord and whose trust is the Lord, the blessed man doesn't fear even if the weather should turn unfavorable. Why? Because it was already stated. Because his vested confidence is already a foregone established conclusion. His vested confidence isn't waiting for the turning of the temperature to make a make a decision, to make a determination. There is a prior commitment that has already been solidified. And that solidif solidification exists even before there's a change in the temperature. So that even if there's a weather change, the blessed man doesn't fear. Because though, the weather's changed around me, my roots are still driving deep. The source of my confidence is below the surface. There is a confidence that exists beyond what the onlookers can observe. The only thing that the onlookers can observe is the results of, of that vested trust. And what are the results here? Oh, the leaves are still green everywhere else. The heat has caused a withering, has caused a diminishment, has caused a drying. But for the blessed man, even when the heat rises, leaves still green.
Lessons from Joseph: Preparing for Drought Through Vested Confidence and Anticipatory Storage
Leaves still green. That's right. And the blessed man will not be anxious even in a year of drought. Think about this. In a year of drought. And we have a picture from this, from the book of Genesis. Remember when the Lord gave the dream to Pharaoh when Pharaoh was troubled, didn't understand, you got the lean cows and the fat cows, didn't understand what was going on. Then he heard that my man in the prison could give him some help. You know what I mean? That was old Joseph. Joseph came out and explained, oh, the God of heaven and earth has shown me what the situation is, that there's a time coming, a time of drought coming. But God has given you insight that this is coming. So what we should do is prepare for the reality of the drought. Well, how do you prepare for the reality of the drought? That in the non drought times you have a vested confidence, you have a preparation tactic that allows you to store in anticipation of what will come. So that when the drought comes, everyone else will be looking for grain. But guess what? In Egypt we will have the grain. It's a very similar phenomenon that the Lord explaining in a personal application that because the blessed man has tapped into the stream long before drought arises, his reservoir has already been established. So even when the drought comes, he's already nourished sufficiently.
Planted for This Moment: Thriving Through Vested Confidence in God's Plan
So that even in the midst of drought, everywhere else around it could look as if the there's no fruit production. But where the blessed man is, there is no ceasing to yield fruit. My point in explaining all of this, brothers and sisters, is when we consider the reality of things like Acts 17, that God has planted us here for this moment, that he's determined before time the boundaries of our habitation and the times in which we would live. That includes being alive in the 21st century here in the United States of America. That includes undergoing midterm elections in 2026. That includes all of that understanding. And when we understand that we have been planted for this moment, that when we, the Lord remains our trust, and when we consistently stay in a disposition where God is our trust, we are fortified for the moment that we're planted in, not merely to exist, but to even be able to thrive in the midst of it. Why? Because we're planted into the source. We are vested in the source.
Unwavering Confidence: Trusting God's Ordination for This Moment and Eternal Reality
So no matter what transpires, by the end of this evening, and I'll even be with you after the show ends today during AFR's election coverage. Make no mistake about it, the source of your confidence and my confidence does not change. Because we, by God's grace, we be among the ranks of the blessed man who trusts in the Lord and whose trust is. Is the Lord, come what may, we know who has ordained us for this moment. And similarly, by God's grace, we will not miss our moment because we live at his behest in view of eternal reality, which gives outside significance to our investment in the here and now. And we know we still serve the same God who shuts the mouths of lions, who reigns manna from heaven, who who preserve sandals without wasting away. This is the King of Kings who we still serve.

Abraham Hamilton III Shining light into the darkness. This is the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
Abraham Hamilton III Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner. Abraham Hamilton III here. You know the, the fallout is still happening unfortunately, from Haley Stevens last minute endorsement of Mike Rogers in Michigan. it led to the Michigan Democrat Party having ah, an emergency press conference. But Democrats on the national stage are having a meltdown continuously. And I'm bringing this up because Haley Stevens had some remarks that are worth considering. because in her words she was most shocked by the way her party immediately turned against her. And frankly in some of the most grotesque terms in many instances. And it reveals that a lot of the, wordsmithing that is employed, man, that stuff is not real. And many of us have known that for quite some time that it's not real. But the evidence for it not being real is being made more and more accessible publicly and it's worth visiting for a moment to have a conversation about it. And so as an example, I'll give you an example. And we had to bleep several comments in this short 40 some odd second clip. We had to bleep some comments because it's remarkable. Now remember when I shared share with you a while ago when, when, James Carville, for example, from my home state of Louisiana said that he was not willing to share a party with people like Hassan Piker. Remember that? Remember that? He said, he said all of that, said, if Hasan Piker is in, I'm out. If Piker's going to be in, I'm out. I'm not going to be a part of a party with Hassan Piker. Well, Haley Stevens kind of said the same thing. Like Abdul, El Sayed is campaigning when I saw a biker. So like James Carville, she says she's out. But this apparently infuriated James Carville and he, in quite disgusting terms, which is why we bleeped a lot of it, expressed his frustration that Haley Stevens had the audacity to think as an individual. Now again, her motivation, you can discuss her motivation, she said, her reasoning. Whether you agree with it or accept it or not, that's your opinion. I'm talking about James Carville and anybody else. But I thought we were supposed to respect people's opinions even if they disagree with, I guess that's how we play with you political gang banging. So I want you to listen to hear a little bit of the screed James Carville went on. I mean this is, and this is one example of many, of many following Haley Stevens's announcement. Congresswoman Haley Stevens's announcement. Listen to and watch clip number one. Clip one, go.
James Carville But your political is over. If you think that these Republicans are going to treat you as anything other than what they view you as. And that is. Let me just break the news to you. A used. The Democrats don't even think you're worth a used. But that's about where you are. you made your bed, sleep in it, you mess kit, eat it. And you know, at some point, if you Like Fetterman and Stevens. Maybe we need to open a cheeseburger restaurant somewhere. I don't know.
Abraham Hamilton III So Haley Stevens makes her endorsement based on her own convictions and conscience. She crosses the aisle. Obviously, I bleep those words because I don't think they're appropriate for public discourse. He clearly knows he's being interviewed for public consumption and dissemination, yet he chooses that vernacular. And this is what I want you to see right now. He calls Haley Stevens a use prophylactic. That's what he says. And using quite foul slang terminology for it. But aren't they the party of women? That's what they say. Isn't that what they say? Right. It, don't. Isn't that what they say? Now, you reconcile this for me, please. I guess that only applies if you, I don't know. You do what James Carville says. You had others m men and women in the Democrat Party saying the Haley Stevens must be mentally ill all of a sudden. Now, she wasn't mentally ill 48 hours ago, but all of a sudden because she disagreed with them. She's mentally ill. She needs to be committed to a mental institution. Others have said that. Oh, that's not her real opinion. She's only a mouthpiece for her fiance's opinion. Really. Now, I've known this. It's about. It's about party fealty and loyalty over anything else. And listen, James Carville is being quite profane. But remember, I'm saying to you that he is an example. He's not alone in the type of disgusting comments that have been employed. Now, I've mentioned to you the Michigan Democrat Party has said that they've disavowed Haley Stevens. They've removed her picture from the website. That's amazing. In One Night Rules. Apart from the website. what's his name? Hakeem Jeffries, the Democrat Minority Leader was saying he's reconsidering her role in Congress. And she also has announced. Haley Stevens has announced that she's not trying to run for reelection as a Democrat now. So this will be the end of her congressional run because she said she's going to leave Congress after this current Congress, this current Congress's term ends. So this, this Congress, the 119th Congress, will end on January 3, 2027. And Haley Stevens is saying, I ain't sticking around to beat these guys, punching bag. I'm out of here. But I want you to hear some of the additional remarks. I'm going to read these to you from a Transcript Because I don't want to. I don't want to miss out on anything. So Haley Stevens says this, and I think these comments are worth considering. She said, quote, think about what that says. A woman can serve in Congress, run statewide, and fight for her convictions and still be told that when she makes a choice, people dislike. Someone else must be pulling the strings. Someone else must be pulling the strings. That is sexism dressed up as political analysis. My fiance has his own views and I have mine. I made this decision, and I'm proud of it. Do not question my independence simply because you disagree with. With my conclusion. End quote. Now, if the Democrats were the party women that they claim to be, and they're saying that Haley Stevens is being bullied by her fiance to make this. This decision, why wouldn't they be defending her? Kind of like if the Democrat Party cared about more melanated people, they probably wouldn't only show up if they suspect that a police officer who has less melanin displayed in his skin is involved, but they would actually express concern for the scores of people that are getting murdered in inner cities all across the country. But no, it's about political expedience. It's not about truth. And this is yet another example, and dare I say, a volatile example on the national stage in which they're demonstrating it. Haiti. Stevens goes on, quote, what has troubled me almost as much as this experience is my party's reaction. Instead of asking why a lifelong Democrat reached this point, some leaders rushed to condemn me, question my motives, and push me out. That response reveals something deeply troubling about what is missing in today's Democratic Party. We cannot preach inclusion while punishing dissent. We cannot promise to heal a divided country if we cannot tolerate disagreement among ourselves. And we cannot build a lasting majority by making Americans feel their concerns are unwelcome.
The Democratic Party's Internal Strife: Punishing Dissent, Demanding Loyalty, and Losing Touch with Inclusion
Loyalty to a party should never require abandoning your values or judgment. I respect Democrats who disagree, disagree with my decision, and ask for the same respect in return. I still believe in the promise of the Democratic Party. But fulfilling that promise will require something more than loyalty, tests and demands for blind obedience. It will require true leadership. Leaders who listen even when it is uncomfortable. Leaders who stand against hatred without calculating the political cost. Leaders who understand that bringing people together is more important than forcing them into line. There is healing to be done in Michigan, in our party, and in our country. We can build a stronger, more welcoming, more courageous Democratic Party. And I plan to help lead that effort. End quote. Now, again, why am I pointing this out? This statement we cannot preach inclusion while punishing dissent. Really, I wonder. I wonder when that became a line. It also makes me wonder, and I know the answer somewhat because of some of the press conferences that were held by those in Michigan. I wonder how many other people feel the same way, because there are people that see. There are people that see. James Carville said he didn't want to be in a party with Hassan Piker. Haley Stevens acted on that same conviction. Yet one is saying the other's political future is over. This is very, very telling. Very, very revealing, and it once again shows which direction seems to be the prevalent direction of one of our major political parties.
The Irony of Obamacare: Obama's Promises Versus the Reality of Soaring Healthcare Premiums
All right, I'm gonna move on. I'm gonna move on. But it's very, very interesting. Next, I wanna, I can see some of. Some of you because I met you around the country. You do not want to hear what I'm about to play, but I have to play it for you, because in this election, and I'm grateful that some of you right now even making your way to the polls before the polls close. it's very interesting. In certain states, they're bringing out blasts from the past. You know, you saw. You saw Bill Clinton did not have. With that woman. You know, he's around the country. Where'd they get him? where did they get him from? You know, Barack Obama's making the rounds. And if you listen to some of Barack Obama's speeches, they sound a lot like 2008. Very much Hopi changing, in which he's saying some of the same things he said before. But it's interesting that it seems to me that the irony of his presentations seem to be lost on him. Let me give you an example, what I'm talking about. So Barack Obama showed up on the stump for candidates in Georgia, all right? And his speeches took a familiar trajectory where he began to lament the cost of health insurance premiums. Really? Let me give you an example what I'm talking about. This is a short clip. Here's a brief clip of Barack Obama in Georgia campaigning. And listen to what he says. It's clip number two. Clip two, go.
Barack Obama We need to rein in the cost of childcare so those same young families can afford it. We've got to make sure that nobody has to worry about high health care premiums. We have a lot of work to do.
Abraham Hamilton III Yeah, I love that lady in the audience. A lot of work. We got a lot of work to do. You heard that, Jeff? A lot of work. Just want to be heard. We got A lot of work. Now do you see the irony in that? Do y', all, y' all see what the irony is in that? Isn't there a piece of legislation that was passed that carries his name, that was presented to the American people as if it was going to reduce premiums for Americans? It. Am I remembering that correctly, sir? Mr. Roza, am I remembering. Isn't that something called Obamacare? Right? No, it doesn't exist. No.
Abraham Hamilton III Affordable Care Net Act.
Abraham Hamilton III Oh, Affordable Care Net Act. So that's not Obamacare.
Abraham Hamilton III Oh, it's the same.
Abraham Hamilton III Yeah, but not so affordable. I thought you passed the bill, homie, that was gonna help, health care become affordable.
Speaker G Why are you crying? It's not your government, is not your country,
Abraham Hamilton III is not your country. Yet you run around the country today in 2026 saying we have to do something to get healthcare premiums down. Gotta get those healthcare premiums now, bro. Didn't you. So let's just, let's just run the tape, shall we? For example, remember in 2008, President Obama promised that his healthcare agenda would, quote, lower your premiums by $2,500 per family per year. But what's happened as a result? The opposite has happened. In the 16 years since Obamacare became law, the average annual premium for employer sponsored family coverage has more than doubled. More than doubled. According to the Kaiser foundation, the average Family premium was $13,770 in 2010. By 2026, it had climbed to $28,303, just an increase of about 106%. I can give you numbers. Numbers. The cost for health care has exploded following Obamacare. The actuarial firm Milliman estimated that health care for its typical American family of four with employer sponsored coverage cost $18,074 in 2010. In 2026, that number has increased all the way to $37,824. An increase of roughly 109% is so bad that even the NewSong York Times. Guys, I'm not kidding. The NewSong York Times is criticizing Obamacare by name, saying after recent increases, there's another 13% increase that's about to hit middle income families in the United States of America. But here's the thing they don't want you to see. And it's wild that they do this. Like the audacity of him having passed Obamacare to run around the country to begin to say, you need to do something to get these health premiums down. Gotta get the health premiums down. When you are the one that led them running through the roof in the first place, the Affordable Care Net act drove and is driving care to be unaffordable. Kind of like Mr. M ice cream Man's Inflation Reduction Act. Inflation through the roof. But the not so secret secret that Barack Obama knew in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and his party knew then, frankly, was that Obamacare was not going to make health care affordable. That, it was going to drive health care costs up. It wasn't a bug. It's a feature of the plan. And we'll get into that on the other side of the break.
James Carville Don't go and vote and leave your Christianity at the door.

Abraham Hamilton III the Hamilton quarter podcast and one minute commentaries are available at afr.net back to the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
Abraham Hamilton III Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner. Abraham Hamilton III here. I'm going through this for a reason, guys, because we're in the midterm elections and today is election day. The decisions that we make today will have long lasting consequences. So as I mentioned before the break, it's ironic that Barack Obama is going around the country talking about the necessity of bringing health care premiums down when he literally had the signature legislation that drove them through the roof. Remember the lie. If you like your plan, you can keep it. Remember that. If you like your doctor, you can keep it. Knowing that that wasn't going to happen. People like me and others were saying, guys, this is a flat lie. This is a flat lie. I remember back then I didn't have a radio program and I interviewed, physicians who, they were saying things. I know this is going to be terrible for the health care system. The dirty secret, guys, the dirty little secret that President Obama knew and the Democrat Party knew at the time, the same ones who are right now screaming Medicare for all. They knew that the spike in health insurance premiums was by design that that wasn't. Remember we talked about the weight of the poor article, the cloud piven strategy when the two professors came together to try to force NewSong York into bankruptcy for the express purposes of ushering in a Marxist overhaul of the economic system to where you use the weight of the poor, which means that you expanded welfare roles you enrolled anybody possible indiscriminately with the promise of welfare benefits, knowing that the city did not have the money to pay them to force the city into bankruptcy for the express purposes of reconstructing the economic system. That's the cloud pivoting strategy. They keep applying it over and over and over. You want to know why? The one of the major reasons why the border was overrun to the cloud pivoting strategy applied to immigration and the Obamacare Affordable Care Net act was another cloud pivot play. Because here's the thing. Obamacare was never supposed to fix the health care system or the health insurance industry. The actual goal was that it was supposed to break both the health care industry, the health care system and the health insurance industry. To break both of them beyond repair. So people would clamor for a new solution which would be single payer health care. This is the Saul Alinsky strategy. This is what the whole moniker community organizer is a community organizer. You read Solinsky's Rules of Radicals, the community organizer foments chaos. You have people, you balkanize them, separate them into groups, whip them into a frenzy. You know, use Bobby and I use the Roza team. Hey, look at roses, man, your life, man, you having a hard time, you think life is okay, but it's not. Because the Hamilton's over there, they have all the bread, they have all the beef, they have all the ribs, they have all the gas, they have all the money. Why can't you have some of what they have? And then at the exact same time the same community organizer toggles over to the Hamilton man. Listen, you see those roses over there, man, you got to watch them. All they do all day is scheme on, try to get what you have got. Getting the balkanized groups whipped up into a frenzy so that the community organizer then comes in with the so called solution. But remember, there was no problem before the community organizers start organizing. Remember? And that's the rub. That's the rub. So, so you have this Obamacare which was never supposed to fix health care or the health insurance industry, but to break both beyond repair so that the solution will be single payer health care. You know the rules for radicals that Barack Obama taught, the rules for radicals that, that she or should never be president, wrote her master thesis on. Yeah. So what the Democrats realized is that the American healthcare system before Obamacare, it wasn't perfect. It wasn't perfect, but it was working too well to create the conditions that will cause Americans to clamor for a complete overhaul. You see, because think about it did. You have a lot of Americans before Obamacare saying, oh, man, I'm just sure you had some on the, on the, outskirts, in different places complaining. But by and large, generally speaking, people would admit it wasn't perfect, but it wasn't in chaos either. It wasn't in chaos either, and they knew that. So you had to get Obamacare passed because it was intended to fail. Have you heard that before? It's kind of like, you know, the government indoctrination system. People say it's failing. I'm saying, how could it be failing when we keep funding it to the tune of trillions of dollars? It's almost as if it's operating as it has been designed. Same thing with Obamacare. So the irony of running around the country today in 2026 complaining about health care premiums when your signature legislation is what drove them through the roof. And if you want to know further evidence of what I'm saying, remember how this all came into focus when the Republicans had the audacity to repeal Covid era subsidies. Remember that? That led to a government shutdown that wasn't repealing the program, and told her they were saying, we can't keep doing these subsidies people if they own the health care exchanges and things, they have to pay their own way. Oh, no, you can't do that. You can't do that because that is what they intended to do. And I'm, explaining this to you because how many people in 2008, then 2010, then 2012 and 2016, how many of them foresaw the day in 2026 when the man for whom the legislation was named will be running around the country saying the exact same thing he was saying in 2008? The premiums are too low. You've already passed Obamacare. So then what is your solution now, Mr. Obama? Socialized medicine, which was the plan all along. But in order to get that plan in place, they had to whip the American people up into a frenzy sufficiently so that people can say, this is not working. These premiums have gone berserk. My premium used to be $10,000. Now it's $30,000. I have so many, I cannot afford it. So now the only. Well, look at, look at the industrialized nations. Look at Canada, look at England. Look at. It's. It's. It's all been a part of the plan, guys. So as you're going to the polls today, keep things like that in mind. The NewSong York Times couldn't be caught dead saying, you knew Obamacare is Going to raise premiums for everybody. They're saying it now. Premiums will. Obamacare dealt yet another blow as premiums jump again. You see that? That's from the NewSong York Times. From the NewSong York Times. But you see their solution, though, is what do you think their solution is? More subsidies from the American taxpayer. Can I make this stuff up, guys? Can I make this stuff up? Because that's the play. It's the Saul Alinsky paradigm applied to multiple disciplines. No matter what the issue is, you know what that solution is? Bigger government. More extracted taxes, More government programs. Never, man. How would we go back to what we were before Obamacare?
The Obamacare Playbook: Breaking Healthcare to Usher in Single Payer and the Assault on Religious Freedom in Colorado
You know, how many times I heard people say, why can't we buy health care insurance across state lines? How many times I've heard people say that, you know, it's all lies. That's my point. That's my point of sharing this. So these are things that need to be taken into consideration. When you have people saying things like, yeah, I am. I adopt the program of the Democratic Socialists of America where we need to, you know, abolish the Constitution, we need to abolish the presidency, we need to abolish the Supreme Court and have one politburo that's subservient to Congress that will expand. Guys, it's insane. It's insane. One other thing I want to mention to you. Oral arguments were held, earlier, today in another religious freedom case that comes from Colorado. Yet again, Colorado seems bound and determined. No matter how many times they are rebuked by the US Supreme Court, there are bound and determined to continue their effort to castigate and to persecute, frankly, Christ followers and people of biblical conviction, religious conviction, all over the country in this instance. And I mean, I mean, how many times they have to lose? And they keep passing these, this legislation. So in the state of Colorado, they have a universal, preschool program created by state law. The state's program provides all children with up to 15 hours of tuition free preschool. But here's the catch. Here's the catch. In Colorado, if you're going to participate. So when I say tuition free is tuition free for the parents, so they're paying for it with tax dollars. Right? But if you're going to participate, the schools that are going to participate, they have to admit LGBTQ identifying children. Guys, this is in the Colorado state law. They have to admit LGBTQ identifying children and the children of LGBTQ identifying parents. All right? So if you have, I don't know, go figure, you know, Christian schools in the state who have, you know, I don't know, statements of faith and biblical convictions against the lgbtqiap. Plus crooked letter, crooked letter I element, op agenda. Then they would be excluded from participating in the program. It's textbooks. Discrimination based on religious conviction. It's a First Amendment case all day long. This case is styled the St. Mary Catholic Parish versus Roy. Roy is the, executive director. Wait, I have her here? Yeah, Roy is Lisa Roy. I'm sorry, it's the executive director of the Colorado Department of Early Childhood. That's why her name is on the lawsuit as a defendant. The plaintiffs in the case are suing and saying that this law is nothing but religious discrimination. What do y' all think the Supreme Court is gonna do? What about, you know, similar thing as a Jack Phillips case? A, similar thing is a three or three creative case. A similar thing as when they had a state law that said mental health professionals could not counsel people away from same sex attraction and trans identification, but they were free to counsel people to embrace it. This is just. This is just insane. And for every person who argued against when I told them when the. When the Obergefell decision was made, you have just literally placed biblical conviction within the crosshairs of legality in this country. You all owe me an apology. I mean, this is like, for the 15th time, we've seen the same thing. Because the reality is you cannot, as a society, you cannot create laws without any provision whatsoever for people whose biblical convictions do not comport with what the scripture calls sexual rebellion. You cannot have both of them in the same space. It is a zero sum game in that regard, that any advancement of this LGBTQ I+ agenda, it happens at the expense of biblical conviction. Guys, that's just the reality. Because God is the one who said that this is an abomination. God has said that. So the state of Colorado yet again is attempting to say, well, no, we have a neutral, applicable law. We're not singling out your faith, and we're not doing so with animus. Remember, that was the key word that they employed in the Jack Phillips case. You were just too mean about it. Remember, we're not have. We don't have any animus. To which Justice Amy Coney Barrett says, well, what's the difference if you say you can't do it? What's the difference to you being ugly about it and not being ugly about it when you're still saying that the law says if you have this biblical conviction, then you can't participate? The effect is the same. I expect the U.S. supreme Court will rule as it is ruled in similar cases. But make no mistake about it, this is what is on the ballot, guys. That you have state legislatures and you have Congress that will be comprised with people who understands that Colorado is bound and determined to basically gut the First Amendment. That's what, that's what they're seeking to do on every front. We talking about making cakes, Jack Phillips. We're talking about photographers for weddings. We're talking about mental health professionals and counselors. The same state. And you would think because all of this litigation is happening at, ah, taxpayer expense in the state of Colorado, you would think at some point their state legislature will say, you know what, we should probably stop spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to be rebuked by the US Supreme Court. But you know why they don't? You know why they don't? And this is why I'm telling you that there must be an interaction between our civic engagement and making disciples. You know why they don't? Because they have people in the state who, who continuously vote for the same state legislators that are advocates for this type of insanity. That's why for the legislators in Colorado, it's more favorable for them to express their willingness to eviscerate the First Amendment and to develop a regime that is hostile to Christians because it has become attractive for their electoral outlets. Like, do you think, do you think for one moment if state legislators in Colorado realize, or say it this way, if state legislators in Colorado's found man, the constituency is not gonna reelect us if we keep passing these stupid bills. You think they keep doing it?
The Erosion of Biblical Fidelity: Colorado's Attack on Religious Conviction and the Need for Disciple Making
No. Why do they keep doing it? Because it is ingratiating them to their electorate. That is why. And this is why I'm saying, as God grants us reprieve, the body of Christ must be about our Father's business, making disciples on the ground. It's a sad testimony that the land where God planted people like Dr. James Dobson has become the tip of the spear to attack biblical fidelity in this country.
America's Choice: Making Disciples and Being About Our Father's Business on Election Night
Which way will we go as a country? We get to make that determination. A lot more will become clearer as we go on through this evening. Stick with us throughout the evening. Election night coverage right here at American Family Radio. Yours truly will be a part of that coverage. we will be with you throughout this evening because as I stated at the very beginning of the show, God is not finished with the United States of America.
