You can still participate in Share a Thon. The last chance challenge is over however
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Good evening everyone. Welcome to the Day 3 Fall 2025 Shareathon Edition of the Hamilton Corner. My name is Abraham Hamilton iii. I was on the air the previous hour and I'm rolling with you for this hour as well. I am joined by the Corner contingent right across from me, my man, 100 grand, Mr. M. Bobby. And in the screening room, produce extraordinaire, the real J. Mac. Ladies and gentlemen, we are ready to rock and roll with today's program. You can still participate in Share a Thon. The last chance challenge is over however, but the number to call to make Your gift is 877-616-2396. That number again is 877-616-2390. Or you can give securely online by going to afr.net that is afr.net I want to reiterate that you can still make your gift. We welcome you to do so. it is because of gifts like yours that we have the opportunity. And I don't want to be premature, but if you stay tuned, you're going to learn about a new AFR station coming online, in the not too distant future. just stay tuned beyond today. but we're able to do those types of things because of people who give, who support the work that God is doing through this ministry. I was sharing the story before. I was speaking at a church one time in the, in the Dallas, Texas area. And a young lady stood up. She was sitting next to her parents, she was a college age young lady and she said, Mr. Hamilton, I grew up listening to you. And I said, what? That was the first time I'd ever heard about, heard that and thought about that phenomenon. I got to meet her and her parents later on. the parents told me how they were intentional about making sure their children got to listen to my program in particular. And it helped to kind of contribute to where this young lady, ended up wanting to, wanting to do with her life. It was amazing to hear that and it caused me to think how much would you be willing to give to ensure that AFR is available for your children, your grandchildren and your great grandchildren is something that's worth considering in my view. 877-616-2396 is the number to call. 877-616-3396 is the number to call. Or you can make your gift securely [email protected] that is afr.net and I was on the air the entire previous hour. I didn't sneeze one time and then you two jokers come in the studio and now I got the Sneezy Wheezies again.
Many of you are making transition from part time jobs to full time jobs
At this very moment, many of you, if not most of you, are making your transition from your part time jobs where you generate an income, to your full time jobs where you cultivate an outcome. And as you do so, I want to remind you to make your transition with intentionality, understanding the primacy that God places on family and welcoming, that reality to govern and Guide your engagement. 877-616-2396 is the number to call or you can give online [email protected] I want to direct your attention now to the Word of God. To the Word of God we go. James, chapter one. I want to focus primarily on verse 17 exclusively. Verse 17. James chapter one, verse 17. and this is one that I present to my children often. I ponder this verse often and simply this is what the Word of God says. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of Lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. I'm going to read that again. Every good thing is given.
>> Tim Wildmon: Sorry.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of Lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.
The simple notion that I wanted to communicate is the necessity of living with gratitude
The simple notion that I wanted to communicate to you is the necessity of living with gratitude. One of the major concepts that has been weaponized in our society. We often describe it as entitlement. Another way to describe entitlement is ingratitude. It is truly overwhelming to consider, man, how God continues to provide for this ministry through you, through your support, through your gifts, through your. I am keenly aware that God has blessed some of us materially where we have an abundance of resources. I'm also keenly aware that there are some amongst us that you sacrifice to give. I see testimonies all the time, that you work feverishly to put together the five bucks a month or the, you know, to $10 a month. And I want to tell you that more than the quantity that you've given, God sees the heart that you've given with. God sees the heart that you've given with. And it is our distinct privilege and honor to cultivate within ourselves hearts of gratitude. So I know we're going to have some others that are planning to join us later, but let me just be among the first to tell you, thank you. Every single person who has given during the share a thon. I'm looking at Myshel in Arkansas, Amy in Mississippi, Albert in Virginia. we had, Michael. I'm sorry, Myshel. no, Albert. I mentioned Albert. Debbie in Oklahoma, Billy in Tennessee, Rodney in Georgia, Stephen in Texas, Brooke in North Carolina, Suzanne in Tennessee. This is just a few of the people. Every single one of you, thank you so much for what you have done. Thank, you so much for supporting this ministry.
Your support helps us stay debt free at AFR.com
I want to express my gratitude to God first, but I also want to express my gratitude to you. It is because of the uncommon connection and affinity that we share. You know, I mean this when I say one of my favorite things to do is to travel our country and to meet supporters and listeners, to get to hug next and shake hands and meet people in person, people I'm going to be able to spend eternity with who understand so clearly what's happening in our society currently. And they have embraced what God has called them to do, to respond, doing the affirmative work that they're doing in their neighborhoods and communities, but also sacrificially using their own resources, your own resources, to support the work that God is doing here. I said yesterday when Brother Don was asked, how does he budget? And he said, this is how we budget. we spend less than we take in. You know, that is a core conviction that we have, that we endeavor to be good stewards. God has blessed us here in this ministry that we're a debt free ministry because we believe when the Bible says the borrower is a slave to the lender. So we want to be able to be as streamlined as possible, to not have to factor in all kinds of exorbitant interest payments and things of that nature, but to function within the parameters that God has afforded. And the way that those parameters have been established is by your support. So I want to tell you, from my heart, thank you for your gifts, thank you for supporting this work, thank you for the work that you are doing where you are, and thank you for being a part of, of what God is doing in our, our country to plant the flag of faithfulness to Jesus. Christ and to recognize that the most during and desperate need for our country is salvation in Jesus Christ and repentance and faith in him. That's what we need, man, and that's what we are committed to do. So if you're listening and you, you would still like to make your gift, you're like, A.B. i haven't been able to give yet. Well, guess what? You still have some time. 877-616-2396 is the number to call that we have people standing by to receive your call, to process your gift, and to add it to what has already been given. 877-616-2396 is the number to call. Or you can go to afr.net and give online securely if you prefer to do that. Some people are like, man, I'd rather do that. I don't want to get in the conversation necessarily. I just want to, give my gift and do so digitally. Well, you can do that. one of the things that we've been able to do here, in this era of information technology and hackers and scammers, that our IT department has created basically, our own server room right here on our own campus. So when I say you can give securely, I mean that. I mean that instead of having to outsource the foundational server, infrastructure, we have it right here on campus. And that is something that was able to be constructed, frankly, because of your faithful support. 877-616-2396 is the number to call, or you can give securely [email protected] the scripture I read, focused on the reality that all good and perfect gifts come m from above, from the Father of Lights. No matter how talented you may be, no matter how talented I may be, no matter how many connections we may have, no matter how accomplished we may be, everything that we enjoy in terms of, provision and resources has been granted to us by God. Everything is his. Everything is his. We get the privilege to steward it for season. Refuse to allow this culture to move you into a begrudging disposition, of ingratitude. You know, it boggles my mind how you have people that talk about, you know, how horrible America is, and then at the same time, these are some of the same people that are saying, yeah, we need open borders. Bring them on over here. You know, and, man, the reality is, and I don't say this to diminish anybody's struggles because we have people in this country who suffer. That's a fact. I know that to Be a fact. The reality, however, is that even those who have some of the most difficult circumstances in our lives, there are people from other places around the world that would love to trade you. I'm just telling you the truth, man. You know, I said, and some people thought I was joking. I said, america is one of the few countries in the world where poor people gain weight. I'm just. Guys, that's an American thing. That's not a world thing. In other places when people don't have resources, they go without meals regularly. Now I know there are some people who are suffering in such a way in America that they go without meals from time to time. But it is not nearly the quantity of frequency in our country that it is in other countries. That's just the truth, guys. That's the truth. You know, one of the things I do, I teach this. This year I'm teaching an economics, class to high schoolers, to homeschool high schoolers. And I was sharing with some of them some, evidence to show in places like Cuba, you have a 50 something year old man who said, I've never seen a strawberry. Now think about this. Cuba is a, is a tropical island. And you have people there who have never seen a strawberry. Not in person. Like, I know it as I'm saying this, some of you are having a hard time wrapping your mind around that. Wait, what do you mean, Abe? They've never seen a strawberry. Listen what I'm telling you, adults who have never physically seen a strawberry, why is that? Because of the communist dictatorship that is the governmental source in Cuba. The crushing of the imago DEI and liberty there that has resulted in death, poverty and destruction and deprivation. That's a fact. I show my students, video after video of expats from other nation and they come into places like Costco and they faint. I'm serious, they faint. There's this one, one young man, and I'm saying young, he's like a, he's a young adult. He went into a grocery store with his uncle who had been in America for a while. And, his uncle said, what do you want? And he saw the grapes and his eyes welled up. I would like some grapes. And he said, well, good, get some grapes. And the young man asked his uncle, how many grapes can I have? His uncle said, what do you mean, how many? well, how many you can afford? And the young man said, wait, you mean to tell me I can get as many of these as I want? He's like, yeah, why? Because in his framework. Again, this was another Cuban young man. They have rationing. So if you go to the little place you have a predetermined amount of what you can get. It's easy to take that stuff for granted. But we should be a people of gratitude because good and perfect gifts flow from the Father of lights. Thank you, Lord, for blessing us to be in this nation. And again, thank you to all of you who have given. If you want to give and have not yet been able to do so, there's still time for you. 877-616-2396 is the number to call. Ah, 877-616-2396. Or you can give securely online by going to afr.net that is afr.net already.
American Family Association Shareathon continues on American Family Radio

New York Attorney General Leticia James indicted for federal fraud charges
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Welcome back to day three of the Fall 2025 Shareathon edition of the Hamilton Community Corner. Abraham Hamilton III here. There's breaking news. Ah, there's a big story that, that I'll get to, but I guess I'll start with the breaking news. New, York Attorney General Leticia James has just been indicted for fraud. She was indicted in Virginia, apparently for mortgage fraud. Bobby goes. Yeah, yeah. It turns out that as the New York Attorney General, she, according to the allegations in the indictment, represented that her primary residence was in fact in Virginia. Which makes me. How can you be the Attorney General in New York if your house is in Virginia? You know, hey, listen, I ain't my business as her business, but now it's the Department of Justice's business, apparently because she's been indicted, for federal fraud charges. This is the same, Letitia James who attempted to bankrupt President Trump, who attempted to take a misdemeanor case. well, that was Alvin Bragg who tried to take the miscommunication, making it a felony, but she sought to bankrupt his companies with a financial lawsuit. It's very, interesting how that has all unfolded. So, yeah, New York Attorney General Letitia James has been indicted and she will face federal charges in Virginia for her fraud, for the allegations of fraud.
18,000 people have responded to the shareathon so far
so this is just, news that is happening at the very moment now I mentioned the big news and let me mention, again, thank you all. Thank you to every single one of you who has given in the shareathon, as we, as I am talking to you, it's approaching 18,000 people who have, ah, responded to this. Shareathon. It's amazing to see these numbers and, it's just overwhelming. And it really is overwhelming. God is amazing, it is encouraging and it is sobering and convicting, because it punctuates for me, the necessity of responding well to what God is requiring at the moment. If you would like to make a gift, you can still do so by calling 877-616-2396. That number again is 877-616-2396. Or you can give securely online by going to afr.net that is afr.net all gifts are tax deductible. and so you are welcome to make those gifts.
Israel and Hamas have entered phase one of the peace deal brokered
Now to the. The big news of the day. Some of the biggest news of the day is that Israel and Hamas have entered phase one of the peace deal that was brokered by President Trump. The peace deal between Hamas and Israel. And I just, I. The word Hamas is said so frequently today. I think sometimes people can forget that Hamas is a terrorist organization, like, full stop. They're not, they're not like a subset of another group. No, they are a terrorist organization. They are the Gaza iteration of the Muslim Brotherhood, which is a terrorist jihadist organization. Now, this peace deal, some networks are covering it as a ceasefire. and I guess, let me say we have now eclipsed 18,000 total gifts, made during the Shathon. Glory to God for his faithfulness. What an amazing, amazing God that we have. but this, the peace deal that was brokered, the most poignant component of it for the Israeli government was the release of the remaining 20 living hostages. That had been a point of contention because Hamas wanted to continue to slow roll that, because as you pay attention to this, they want to keep hostages because that's their main source of leverage, you know, and so they have been slow rolling this. But this negotiation today, and it's Amazing, it's been two years since October 7, 2023, when the attack was launched by Hamas on Israel, killing civilians. The most bloody, attack on the Jewish nation and on the Jewish people since the Holocaust. The 20 living hostages will be released according to the parameters of the agreement as early as Monday. Hamas has also committed to finding, this is what they said, the bodies of the 28. And this verbiage causes the hair in the back of my neck to stand up. The bodies of the 28 hostages who died in Hamas custody. What does that mean? What does that mean? They died in Hamas custody of natural causes. Is that what you're trying to say to me? That old age? Let me give in the facts and information before I go too far. in exchange, brace yourselves for this part. In exchange, Israel has agreed to release about 2,000 prisoners. Did you hear that? 250 of the prisoners Israel has agreed to release that Israel has agreed to release are people who have been tried, who have been convicted of murder, and are serving life sentences in Israel. 250 known and convicted murderers serving life sentences in Israel. The additional prisoners, some 1700 prisoners, are all prisoners who were detained by Israel during the war in response to the October 7th attack that Israel is continuing to detain. But they are still in Gaza. So 250 criminals who have been convicted of murder. Hamas demanded them in this deal. And then 1700, would it be right to call them terrorists? I do believe so. Who are being detained currently by Israel in Gaza. Additional provisions of this first phase, and they're calling it this first phase peace deal, is that the IDF will retreat to a preset line in Gaza. This is not any type of settlement line, but this is. They've agreed to back up this far. And while this peace deal takes place now, one of the major things that is noteworthy, the fact that Hamas will no longer have any living hostages, assuming this peace deal holds true. I have no reason to say that it won't, other than I study history. I kind of understand history. I am hopeful, hopeful that it holds true. But you tell me I'm confident. No way. I'm not confident. What has to happen practically from this point is that the peace deal, was supposed to be presented to the Israeli Knesset, the Israeli Knesset today, and the Knesset had to vote to approve or reject the peace deal. If the peace deal is approved, the hostages will be returned, could be returned as early as Monday. Now, on the one hand, I could not imagine being a family member of one of the people who have not seen my loved one in two years, you know, fearful every day that they could be murdered, tortured. I just. So my heart breaks for these people, man, who have endured this. and while that is true, and more than one thing can be true at a time, man, you know, I'm sick of hearing these things where you, you know, these terrorists attack and murder and kill and brutalize, do all of these things. They kidnap and then, oh, yeah, by the way, release 2,000 other terrorists. You know, what do you think? These 2,000 terrorists, they gonna now become basket weavers? That's what's gonna happen. They're gonna return to gods and say, you know what? You know, I made a change in life, J. Mac, you know, you know, last week I was talking about chop heads off, make bloody, at one's neck. But you know what? I'mma pick up basket weaving. That's what I'm going to do. That's. That's what I'm going to do. I do pray that the Lord opens the blind eyes of people who are enthralled with this bloodlust, man. And I, I, I do pray for peace in the Middle east, but the type of peace that I'm praying for is the peace that comes from the Prince of Peace. Because what needs to happen and the only hope is for these people to get saved, man.
You still have time to make your gift to American Family Radio
So this is phase one of the brokered peace deal. Apparently there are further negotiations that will ensue thereafter. That is what the objective discussions have been. but to date, what has been formally announced and confirmed by the Israeli government, confirmed by the United States, confirmed even by spokespersons, for Taqiah, favorable Hamas, is that phase one of this peace deal has been entered. And so the Knesset should, have met today to determine how they're going to proceed concerning it. And as new information is available, we will provide that to you. in Sharathon. You still have time to give. If you have not yet been able to make your gift and you would like to do so still, you are welcome to do that. The number to call is 877-616-2396. That number again is 877-616-23 96. Or you can give securely online at afr.net afr.net for a one time gift of $150 or more. That is simply, an expression of our thanks to you for your gift. The number again is 8776-162396-87776-162396. Or you can give securely online at afr.net that is afr.net One other bit of information I wanted to share with you that with the, announcement of, It. Come on in. The announcement of, you know, Bad Bunny being the halftime. NFL super bowl halftime show act, Turning Point USA has formally announced that they are conducting the All American halftime show to compete with the super bowl halftime show. And they will provide more information, more scheduling, the artists and all later on. But in the meantime, they're inviting, supporters and even artists to say what type of music they want to hear. The categories include things like anything in English, Americana, classic rock, hip hop, country, pop, worship. But it is official that Turning Point is hosting their own competing halftime super bowl halftime performance. And now it is my honor to welcome to the program president of the American Family association and American Family Radio, none other than Tim Wildmon.
Tim Ferriss: I think putting together a patriotic halftime show is great idea
>> Tim Wildmon: Good morning, brother. A.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Well, good.
>> Tim Wildmon: Good afternoon. If it was somewhere.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: If it was morning, I would say good morning right back at you. But it is morning somewhere.
>> Tim Wildmon: Yeah, I'm. I'm used to saying good morning.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Yes.
>> Tim Wildmon: So that would just happen to me. You know, I was. I'm thinking about having a rap career myself.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Well, I mean, this. You could debut it right here, Tim.
>> Tim Wildmon: Well, I was breaking. I was. He's Bad Bunny. Yeah, I was going to be Bugged Bunny. I think that.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: But I.
>> Tim Wildmon: Think that's already taken though, isn't it?
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Well, not the rapper I think Warner.
>> Tim Wildmon: Brothers might have a problem with.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Hey, I can help you get around the copyright issues around that.
>> Tim Wildmon: Hey, this is a. That is a great. By the way, thanks for welcoming me at Sharathon. We're also happy around here because we're breaking records. Yeah, I think we're going to break records. It looks like, for amount, donated and also number of pledges. It looks like both of them are going to be, you know, right around the record. We'll fight. We'll find out tomorrow. No, even more on Sunday or Monday for sure. But we're. We're trending in that direction. But, yeah, what a great idea. By Turning Point, I was thinking about doing that ourselves, you know, joining up with some other groups like FRC and maybe some other groups and having. Putting something together. but, so maybe Turning Point to do that, you know.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Yeah, I mean, I guess nothing would stop us from doing that.
>> Tim Wildmon: Well, that's true. Collaborate with them. Because I think what you could do is, put together a halftime show that's patriotic and also God honoring. And then you put it. How would you. Wouldn't you stream it? Like, you could stream it on, like a, streaming service of some kind and boom, there you go.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: You can Stream it on a streaming service and on all of our websites simultaneously. If we did it together and have.
>> Tim Wildmon: That and say, remind me about that because I think we need to join in on that. I think that's a great idea.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: I do think it's a great idea and I think it's something that our country is ripe for.
There is a divide between the cultural elite and the regular American people
because in spite this almost like a divide. Not almost. There is a divide between the people who would probably deem themselves as the cultural elite and the regular American people. And frankly the American. Regular American people. As this presidential election just bore out. Kind of sick and tired of the, the woke stock racy telling us what we need to like and love and, and what we need to be about and what we need to appreciate. And we're just sick and tired of it.
>> Tim Wildmon: You know, I saw last night, I didn't watch the game and I can't verify what I'm about to say is absolutely true. I just saw the headline. Let me just say that. But it was a picture of this, ah, rapper Bad Bunny, who is Puerto Rican, right?
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Yep.
>> Tim Wildmon: Anyway, he was attending the New York Yankees baseball game. Have you talked about this already?
>> Abraham Hamilton III: I have not.
>> Tim Wildmon: He. And they were in a, they were in a, playoff series with Toronto. It showed him Bad Bunny sitting when God Bless America was performed.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Wow.
>> Tim Wildmon: and they were making a point. This rapper doesn't like America. Or at least he doesn't like what he would call, quote, Trump's America. I don't know. But he wouldn't stand during God Bless America, for whatever that's worth. There are a lot of people who say, you know, we need somebody who's at least patriotic, to the U.S. so anyway, there you go.
Bill Bradford praises American Family Radio for providing Christian counter programming
>> Abraham Hamilton III: There you go, folks. You're listening to the Sharathon Day 3 edition of the Hamilton Corner. I'm joined in studio by AFA and AFR President Tim Wildmon, who is explaining the need to have counter programming to rival the, dare I say Antichrist, anti American demonically inspired super bowl performance of, Bugs. No, I mean Bad Bunny.
>> Bill Bradford: M. My name is Bill Bradford. I've served on the board of AFA for about eight and a half years. And I'm the pastor of Lawndale Presbyterian Church in Tupelo, Mississippi. Every Sunday I want people to leave going, the gospel is true. Christ is the redeemer I need. I'm a broken sinner who needs grace. AFA lives by that. At the same time, they're also applying that in a number of different areas that they can give a lot of focus and directness to religious liberty, the family, the unborn, things like that that we cherish as a local church. But they can give more effort and intensity too. So I'm very thankful for that. In addition to that, there's just a variety of resources that AFA puts out. Some of the ones that I've really appreciated of late is the God who Speaks and we've done the God who Speaks in our Sunday school. It's a good resource for local church as well as being able to see effects of Christian discipleship carried out and put on the ground in a very directed way.
>> Dr. Jessica Peck: Way.
>> Daryl: My name is Daryl, I live here in Conroe, Texas. Started listening to your station about a year and a half ago, when I discovered him here. Thank God for great Christian radio station and what you guys do in impacting the kingdom as well as, trying to mobilize and inform people about issues that they can take up and help, to glorify and honor God in the way that we approach the issues going on in this world today. So God bless you, keep doing great work.
>> Jeff Chamblee: It's Share a Thon on American Family Radio. Call now and partner with AFR at 877-616-2396 or give [email protected] it's share a Thon on American Family Radio.
>> Dr. Jessica Peck: Yes, he did so. Yes he can.
AFA President Tim Wildman says American family radio coming to Iowa
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Welcome back to the Share a Thon edition, day number three of the Fall 2025 charathon edition, frankly of the Hamilton corner where AFA and AFR President Tim Wildmon is in studio where we are thanking God for, for his grace and his provision that it seems that we are on pace for a record breaking sheriffon. Tim, I hope you're not mad at me. I let the cat out of the bag. I didn't say when the, cat.
>> Tim Wildmon: Was in the bag.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Well, the cat was.
>> Tim Wildmon: But Peter aware of this?
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Well, you know, I'm really not concerned with what Peter.
>> Tim Wildmon: Oh, this is a metaphor. Never mind. Go ahead.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: that we very soon will have a new station. I didn't say where. Yeah, I didn't say when. I've already said that that's coming on. Oh, well, Tim has already said it when and where it's going to be. Are you telling me how much I should say? Well, if you are in the Des Moines, Iowa area, you should stay tuned because we will have a new station, 89.3 FM in Des Moines, Iowa. the largest station, frankly in Des Moines, Iowa will be coming online, later this month. That once we finish the last few legalities, and we'll hit the Switch and then 89.3, you will hear American family radio broadcasting. That will be the sixth station we have in Iowa, to be, not to be coy about it, but try to saturate the airwaves.
>> Tim Wildmon: Amen.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: looking forward to seeing that come to fruition.
>> Tim Wildmon: Probably give us, you know, 60, 70% of all the population of Iowa covered once we get that station, ah, on the air. Of course I mentioned we bought a station in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa, Alabama in the last year, year and a half. And so that gives us a lot going to give us probably 75, 80% of the coverage in the state of Alabama. So we are American family radio and if you give money to us, it's going to help us to keep going and growing and impacting our country. And you know, the more we can impact Christians and encourage them for a deeper walk with the Lord and, and also to be more concerned about what's happening in our nation, so that we can make a difference. Because you talk about this often on your program. Abe, you know, I don't know who invented this saying, but it's so true. Freedom is not free.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: That's true.
>> Tim Wildmon: You know, and we live in the land of the free, the home of the brave. We have a, we, for all our problems, we still have a constitution with rights and liberties and we have a way of life, that we have come to enjoy, including the freedom to worship God according to our conscience and to train up our children in that way and just share our faith. So all those things are at jeopardy if you let the secular progressives take over our country. Am I exaggerating?
>> Abraham Hamilton III: No, you're not exaggerating. And, and what? The main reason why I was eager to share that information.
>> Tim Wildmon: Yeah.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Was because I wanted our listeners to know that these are tangible outlets for what happens when you give to this ministry.
>> Tim Wildmon: That's right.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: These are the things that, that, that God is leading us to do with it.
American Family Radio spends less than it takes in, founder says
And now through the sheriffon, I kept referring to your dad's brother Don Wildman's, quote, our founder. Well, how do we, how do we run a budget?
>> Tim Wildmon: Right.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: We spend less than we take in. That's what he's saying. I mean, it's simple, but it's profound in its simplicity that we spend less than we take in. And it's because operating with that kind of stewardship disposition allows us to do These things without being indebted to anyone. And so we are endeavoring, to be salt knight in our nation is one of the ways we're doing.
>> Tim Wildmon: So. I remember, of course, I worked with my father three decades, right. since 19. He started in 77, and I joined the staff in 86 when I got out of college. And so I've been on staff ever since. So I went to a lot of board meetings with my dad. And, I say went to. They were here at our office, but board, meetings during the financial part, when my dad would be asked about the. About the. They would say, well, Don, give, us a financial report. Well, we, took in a little bit, we spent a little bit, and we got a little bit left over. That's my report. Of course, it was the left to the CFO to give all the details of what my dad just said, there. But, yeah, my dad was, a very frugal man. He didn't believe in waste at all. and he believed in just getting every ounce you could out of the dollar that was given because he knew people were given sacrificially.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Yeah.
>> Tim Wildmon: To us. they still are. Yeah. And they still are. they're given sacrificially to us. People don't have. You know, it isn't like you go to a church and someone knows whether you're tithing or not. Which, I'm not saying people snoop and find out who's tithing, but, you know, the Lord knows, right. If you're. If you're. And people know whether you give to your church or not. You know, for most people, we're American Family Radio. We're not. We don't even live with folks who give to us in their towns, I'm talking about. But yet they feel like they know us and they trust us and they believe in our mission and what we're doing. And so they give to us. Which makes it even more special to us that they would, invest in the ministry of AFR so that we can keep buying stations all over America. The more stations we have, the more people that subscribe to our app, the more Christians we can impact, the more. A lot of times we. We get testimonies about people who come to know the Lord.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: That's right.
>> Tim Wildmon: In the first place.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: That's right.
>> Tim Wildmon: By listening to afr. I never. But. But, but secondly, the impacting people, to train them in having a biblical worldview. They may know Christ, but the, the faith is not deep enough. To develop a biblical worldview. That's what we do here.
>> Tim Wildmon: Is we help train Christians to think biblically.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Yeah.
>> Tim Wildmon: So you're listening to Share a Thon. It's the Hamilton corner Abe's home each afternoon here on American Family radio from 5 to 6 o' clock Central time. And we'll be wrapping up Share a thon in about 11 and a half minutes. just so you'll know folks, we are right now, after three days of sheriff on, we're at $4.2 million. And I don't know exactly but I think our record here for his charathon is like four, three, something of that nature somewhere right in there. So I think we're gonna, we're gonna get that, if not go over that. And we're at 18,000 pledges. I think individual pledges. That's either either individuals or families, you know, not, not seven people in a family. All of them don't call in and make a pledge. One person does. So that represents family. So I think our record somewhere between 1819 right in there. So we're, we're border, we, we're not going backwards, that's for sure.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: That's amazing.
>> Tim Wildmon: We're continuing even in you know, tough times for people, a lot of people. So we just say thank you, thank you, thank you everybody who's given. And if you want to call in and make a pledge at this late hour, I would say we're going to make you the CEO or the president of the Procrastinators Club of America. If you, if you waited till now to call in with 10 minutes to go after, after three days you, you qualify for a membership in the, in the Procrastinators Club. So but what's the phone number?
>> Abraham Hamilton III: If folks want to call in, it is 877-616-2396. That is 877-616-2390. Or if you rather give online, you can do so by giving [email protected] that is afr.net that is a website, to go to, to accomplish that. 8, 776-16-2396 or you give securely [email protected] that is Afr.net you got.
>> Tim Wildmon: Some folks on the, on the screen there that we can thank that have called in the last few minutes.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Yeah, absolutely.
Tim: I learned this afternoon that Brian Fisher had passed away
We have Eric and Tennessee Deborah in West Virginia. You want me to say the city. So how do you want me to.
>> Tim Wildmon: Yeah, well, yeah, if you got them there.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Yeah, we Got here? Yeah, we have, Deborah's in Kaplan Bridge.
>> Tim Wildmon: I don't want to mispronounce it West Virginia. West Virginia, where that town is. You know where that is.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: I do not.
>> Tim Wildmon: Okay.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: I do not.
>> Tim Wildmon: only Wheeling. I know that. Wheeling, West Virginia. So maybe that's near Wheeling. And we're in Bluefield. Go ahead.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Yeah, yep. Donna in Tupelo, Mississippi. Evangelina in Corpus Christi, Texas. Brian in Pensacola, Florida.
>> Tim Wildmon: I don't know what station Brian would be listening to. We don't have a station in Pensacola. Unless you listen to the, to the app. Yeah. Oh, by the way, let me just say this. I learned this afternoon, got some sad news, that, Brian Fisher had passed away. Have you already mentioned this?
>> Abraham Hamilton III: I have not mentioned it. I knew about it, but I have not mentioned it.
>> Tim Wildmon: Brian, you know, was on the air with us for, I, I don't know, almost a decade maybe, something like that. and, from 1 to 2 o', clock, 1 o' clock to 3 o', clock, 1 to 2 o' clock Central Time each afternoon with Focal point. The home of muscular Christianity.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: That's right.
>> Tim Wildmon: That was Brian's phrase. He came up with that. Anyway, he was a wonderful Christian brother. Loved the Lord. And, he. And, he and his family, you know, they moved back to, the state of Washington. Yeah.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: The Pacific Northwest.
>> Tim Wildmon: Yeah. After he left and he went back there. And so anyway, he passed this afternoon. And, again, I'm sad to report that, but also we know that Brian knew Christ and he went to heaven.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Yes.
>> Tim Wildmon: So, that's. That's good news.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: That is good news.
>> Tim Wildmon: That's the great greatest news. Because as they say, Father Time waits on no man and death's batting a hundred, a thousand percent. Right? So we all need to be ready to go. The only way you can be ready to go from this world to the next is to trust and have faith in Christ, Jesus Christ. And that's what he offers, is salvation from sin, death and hell, and offers us life abundant and life eternal.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Amen.
>> Tim Wildmon: Right.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: That's why the book of Ecclesiastes says it's better to go to the house of mourning than the house of feasting, because the living take it to heart. You know, you can't get by that Exhibit A that the reality it is truly appointed unto man wants to die. And then the judgment, you know, and so, that reality of the finite nature of our temporal lives should cause all of us to ponder, consider eternal Life. And when it is time for us to go, well, can we confidently say we know for a fact that we'll be able to join brother Brian and you know, Pastor Vodi Bauckham and Charlie Kirk and Pastor John MacArthur, a lot of these others who passed away Recently, I mean Dr. Dobson, the last month.
>> Tim Wildmon: To two months we've had a lot of deaths in the Christian leadership community, you know. That's right. and so Brian, anyway, Debbie, Brian's wife, she let folks know that I guess through Facebook and I friends told me that Brian had gone on to be with the Lord today.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Yes.
>> Tim Wildmon: So anyway, Brian played a vital role in the ministry of AFR for many years. You're listening to Share A Thon. We're winding down here. Four and a half, no, five and a half M minutes to go here on shareathon. And we won't do this again until spring. Yep. We're here every spring and every fall for three days in the spring. Three days in the fall that we tell you hey, here's our financial needs. We pass the virtual offering plate and our listeners, like yourself, always, always, always respond and we thank you for that.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: 877-616-2396 is a number for those who Tim has now appointed as the CEOs of the procrastinators Club. we've been waiting for you. 877-616-2396 is the number for you or you can go to afr.net afr.net is where you can go to make your gift. it is shaking out to be quite a record setting. Sharethon. We will know, as you said, Tim, in the next couple days where we land finally. but it's amazing just to see how many people across the country have responded frankly to God's prompting of them to support the work that we're doing here. It's amazing to see that.
>> Tim Wildmon: Amen.
Some people come to know the Lord through afr. com
Hey, I was mentioning that some people come to know the Lord for the ah, through the ministry of afr. and well a lot of people have. We've gotten testimonies over the years, but I never will forget one. There was a lady, and I've mentioned this before, there was a lady in New Mexico. She let us, she called us, she let us know that she had taken her car. She listened to AFR. This is Gosh, 20 years ago I guess, but never will forget it. She called us and said hey, I took my car to get it worked on she said, and I left it on afr, you know. So she said, came back to get the car like three days later and the mechanic said, hey, excuse me ma'. Am. She said, are you the one who. Did you leave that radio on that religious station? And she goes well yeah, American Family Radio. And he goes well, just want to tell you I got to listening to that Pastor Rogers and and I listened to every, listened to all three days or something like that. And he said, I became a Christian. Wow. Because you left your radio station on afr. And when, when I turned the radio on, boom, there it was. And he did. This gentleman was brand new Christian. He didn't know how to explain it. He just said, that religious radio station. And he stuck. But, but he didn't know enough to know listening to Adrian Rogers, which we by the way still air. Yeah, love worth finding. Even though Dr. Rogers has been gone for a decade or more.
>> Tim Wildmon: going on to heaven. We still air his program because they're timeless messages, that he preaches on. So, but anyway, yeah, how about, how about that story like that, that's, that's just, you know, a God thing as they say.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: It is absolutely a God thing. I've had, I've heard stories very similar, you know, from many different backgrounds and circumstances and contexts. And it's one of those things, man, it just, it causes you to just bask in awe at the glory of God because you can't make that kind of stuff up. You can't pre program. I'm going to do this, I'm going to do this and then that's going to happen. All you can do is marvel at the wonder that God truly is and he truly is still at this very moment, appealing to the hearts and minds of men and women and boys and girls all over the country. And by God's grace we pray that it would continue and we are grateful, that the Lord continues to sustain this work and thankful to all of our listeners to support us because without them wouldn't be able to do the things that we are doing.
>> Tim Wildmon: Amen. Sharathon is closing out for the spring.
God can change your destiny if you submit your life to him
What's our Bible verse we've been using? Abe?
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Ephesians chapter three, verses 20 through 21. Now, to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever, Amen. Amen throughout all generations.
>> Tim Wildmon: Amen. So God, our theme song is yes, he can. Because God can. God can. Absolutely. That's what the Bible teaches. God can. To the power of. Through his power, he can change your life and as somebody said earlier today, change your destiny. God can change your destiny if you're willing to submit your life to him. Amen.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Absolutely right. Amen.
All right, thank you, Brother Abe, each day for your
>> Tim Wildmon: All right, thank you, Brother Abe, each day for your, bringing the news and information and analysis to our listeners and encourage encouraging them in their faith and in their walk.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Absolutely. My pleasure. My pleasure. Thank you to every one of you for tuning in. And in addition to what you've done so far, if you can find another person, if each one of you find two or three people, you tell them about afr, you will be aiding in building, what we refer to as the American Family Association. And together we can fight the good fight of faith. Plant the flag for faithfulness to the King of kings and the Lord of Lords, that is Jesus Christ. You all have a wonderful, wonderful evening. by God's grace, we will be back here tomorrow. Share a thon 2025 the fall. Share a thon. It's a wrap, folks. May God bless you and your families richly. We'll be back tomorrow.
