American Family Radio celebrates Founders Day with a pledge drive
>> Jeff Chamblee: More than 45 years ago, brother Don Wildmon, with Linda by his side, heeded God's call and began this ministry on his dining room table. Since then, dedicated people and supporters have joined Don's efforts to bring godly values back to America. And the fight is far from over.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: All, God asks of you is faithfulness.
>> Jeff Chamblee: It's day two of Share a Thon and it's Founders Day. You can help honor brother Don's legacy with the Founders day pledge. Call 877-616-2396 or give [email protected] it's founders day on American Family Radio.
The Hamilton Corner is calling for donations to support its ministry
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Good evening everybody. Welcome to the 2026 Spring Share A Thon edition of the Hamilton Corner. My name is Abraham Hamilton iii. I'm the host of the program, joined by the Corner contingent right across from me, my man, 100 grand, Mr. Bobby Rosa. And in the screening room, produce extraordinaire. Often imitated, never duplicated. The real J. Mac, ladies and gentlemen. And we are ready to rock and roll with today's edition of the program. At this very moment, many of you, if not most of you, are making your transition from your part time jobs where you generate an income to your full time jobs where you cultivate an outcome. And as you do so, I want to remind you to do so with intentionality, understanding the primacy that God places on family. We are in day two of the shareathon. As I mentioned, this is one of the two times per year, three days in the spring, three days in the fall where we appeal to our audience directly to continue to materially support the work of this ministry. We, we know that there are people who are in various spots in their lives, different things are transpiring. Sometimes there are people who have heard charathons for years but yet hadn't been able to contribute. sometimes those who have been able to contribute in the past, may not be able to do so currently, but we are grateful to every single one of you who tune in, who support the work, who pray for this ministry and who give to support it. The number to call to make Your gift is 877-616-22396. That number again is 877-616-2396. You can give securely online by going to afr.net afr.net is the website.
AFA pocket Constitution includes our Declaration of Independence and every amendment to Constitution
we have premiums which are simple gifts that we want to offer to you, in light of your generosity, your open hearts to support this work and this year for a one time gift of $150 or more, you, you will receive five, AFA, embossed pocket constitutions. they are in navy blue, in gold. You receive five of those, celebrating the 250th anniversary of our Declaration of Independence or for a Great Commission Partner signup where you commit to give $30 or more. Now you can be a Great Commission Partner at any level. So that is a person who commits to give monthly to support the ministry at afa, at any level, you would be a Great Commission Partner. But if you enter the Great Commission partnership at the $30 or more level, monthly you will receive the five pocket constitutions as well as, five celebrating 250 year years in God we Trust wristbands, just as an expression of our gratitude, to you for doing so. The number to call is 877-616-2396 or you can give securely [email protected] one of the things I enjoy about these pocket Constitutions is that they combine this. The AFA pocket constitution has commentary by, historian Steven McDowell, who's been a guest on this program. It includes our Declaration of Independence as well as the original constitutional articles and every amendment to our Constitution all in one pocketbook. I love this because it is a tangible offering of the fact that the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution must be read together. Separating our Constitution from the Declaration has left room for all kinds of problems and evil and chicanery to transpire in our nation. In fact, if you would dumb down the progressive movement, which you guys know I call Regressive. The Regressive movement to one idea that the idea is to separate our national Constitution from the Declaration of Independence. The Regressives wanted nothing to do with, the sovereignty of God, wanting nothing to do with the inherent sinfulness of mankind, wanting nothing to do, with the truths that we hold us as self evident truths with the inalienability of right. They have wanted nothing to do with that. To simply set the stage for replacing and supplanting God with government. You can't do that if you understand, our Constitution in light of our Declaration. The Declaration is our national vision and mission statement. The Constitution is the implementation vehicle. Having them together and readily available for you is a seminal proclamation of that fact. And then in addition to the things I stated, one of the other reasons why it's important that it's a pocket document. It helps to convey the reality that every American citizen can read and understand the Declaration. Every American citizen can read and understand the Constitution. And it's important that we do so because that is the only way we can be continuously a self governed people, a nation comprised of a governmental power that is by the people, of the people and for the people. This document will enable you to do so. 877-616-2396 is the number to call or you can give securely online at afr.
We begin every program by turning to the Word of God. Today we focus on Hebrews chapter five
Now we want to turn to the Word of God. We begin every program by turning to the Word of God. Hebrews chapter five is where I want to go, today, by God's grace. This is vitally important to consider, in especially what we're facing in the world with to ceasefire, not to cease fire. Yesterday we shared the breaking news as we were on the air. President Trump's ceasefire announcement was made, well, in short order. Seems like there's lots of confusion concerning it and in addition to that, there's lots of misinformation being spread all over the country. What is true, what is not true? And more importantly, does the Word of God has anything to say about have anything to say about it? Well, unsurprisingly, yes, it does. Hebrews chapter five. We'll start at verse 11 and we will continue on to verse 14, which is the end of chapter five. And this is what God's Word says concerning him, meaning Jesus. We have much to say and it is hard to explain since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of God. And you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant. But solid food is for the mature who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil. By way of reminder, the Epistle to the Hebrews is an epistle written to Messianic Christians, to Hebrew Christians. But there had been a hiccup, if you will, a deficiency in and the discipleship process, the sanctification process. More importantly, the Hebrew writer explains concerning Messiah. There's much to say about him, but it's hard to m. But it's hard to explain. Not because the subject matter is difficult. The Hebrew writer just gone at this juncture four chapters in explaining why the the Jewish people are no longer looking for Messiah. M For he has come. But when it comes to dull professing believers, those who lack discernment, the articulation of gospel centricity becomes a Challenge not because the subject matter is difficult, but because the hearers have become dull of hearing. This is what the scripture says. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need for someone to teach you again. One thing you should see here is that there is a gospel centric expectation for those who have been born again to not remain at the position where they need to be taught continually in terms of the construction of a biblical worldview, in terms of construction of orthodox understanding, in terms of foundational and the fundamental understanding of God's Word. But the expectation and, and the anticipation is that those who are born again, that you will progress, just as we do as human beings from a stage of infancy where we progress on to maturity. That's an expectation from our Lord, which is why divinely inspired by our God, the Lord says to the Hebrew writer at the time, you ought to be able to teach others. We can't do that because we have to go back to remedial classes for you. We have to go back to first grade and the second grade for you. And then the scripture explains why that has happened. It explains you have come to need milk. And I want you to notice the text there. It is a regressive phenomenon, if you will, that there was a juncture where the audience did not need milk, but they have regressed to the point to where they have come to need milk and can't even sustain solid food. How often have you heard all around the country you have churches, they, they're, they're teaching pablum. They don't get to the meat of God's word. They don't get to the substance of God's word. You have people that are clamoring and crying out, tell teach how the word of God applies to what we're facing now. What does the word of God say about. We're confront what we're confronting now. But you have people that sidestep those things and they've cultivated audiences of people who've grown to need nothing but a sanitized TED Talk. Guys, I want you to know that that is an egregious affront to a high and holy God. They've come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only in milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, meaning they're not used to it. It's foreign to them. It's strange to them. What is this meaty substance? What is this weighty communication? What is this, this weighty glorious offering that you're presenting. I ain't used to that. I'm used to tiptoeing around the tulips. I'm used to self help speeches being presented as. As if they're sermons. No, they're not accustomed to it. You know why? Because solid food is for mature. How do we become ch. Become mature? We become mature because by reason of use, by practice, by putting the word of God into practice. Not just having our ears tickled, not just having an intellectual exercise concerning topic matters that are interesting to me. No, by putting it into practice. As a result, we have our senses trained for discernment. The capacity for discernment is sharpened and increased as we use it. Many of you have been listening for a while. You've heard me explain or refer to, Spurgeon's description of discernment. To where we're not merely distinguishing right from wrong, which discernment requires absolutely. Very often, right from wrong, are patently obvious. But we know what's less obvious. How do we distinguish right from almost right? That is the byproduct of utilizing what God gives us, putting into practice the things that God has taught us. That is what we need in this hour where deception seems to be replete. I've been on. On the. On the broadcast for an hour now, listening to listener testimonies. And one of the things that has come across over and over and over again, as well as listen to testimonies from yesterday that people are endeavoring to put into practice the things that they're learning that this radio network is a contributing factor to reversing and opposing the phenomenon that the Hebrew writer describes here in chapter five, and in my view, it underscores the necessity for it to continue. So when we give the number, as I've been doing today, 877-616-2396 is the number to call. That number again is 877-616-2396. As we give that number, we're doing so because we're inviting supporters and listeners to make financial contributions to enable this process of discernment sharpening to continue. Many of you listening right now, this network has been a blessing to you in aiding you in shaping your worldview and sharpening your senses for discernment. Well, by God's grace, our desire and our hope is that the Lord will sustain this ministry for decades on and until Jesus returns, until he calls us home. Many of you are listening now. Pastor Bert Harper made this point last hour. Many of you are listening now. And as a result of what faithful listeners and supporters have done years past in investing into God's kingdom, making contributions to support this ministry financially. This when you when you give during this Sharathon guys, you are making a kingdom investment. You are making an investment in helping others to enjoy what you enjoy with regularity. 877-616-2396 is the number to call. Or you can give securely online by going to afr.net afr.net is the website I emphasize that you're able to give securely.
American Family Radio celebrates founders day with a special message
because by God's grace, one of the things we've been able to develop is an internal data network. We don't need a warehouse for a data center because God has blessed us with technological experts and with the capacity to have service right here on campus. 877-616-2396 is the number to call because our desire is to contribute to there being a robust remnant in our nation where we have Christ followers who have their senses for discernment sharpened because we put God's word into practice.
>> Jeff Chamblee: After crossing the Jordan river into the Promised Land, God instructed the children of Israel to take stones from the river and make a memorial. When their future children would say, what do these stones mean? The parents would recount the Lord's deliverance of Israel from slavery and Israel's arrival in the Promised Land. In each of our lives, there are events that ought to be remembered and events where the Lord moved and delivered us. Whether we use stones, photos or special celebrations, it matters only that we take time to remember what the Lord has done and pass that testimony on to future generations. Since 1977, the American family association has been informing, equipping and activating individuals to strengthen the moral foundations of America. The Lord has given us many, many victories over the years that laid the foundation for our work today and into the future.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Learn [email protected] My name is Babs, I'm in Arkansas.
>> Caroline: My story is extremely long, dating back into the 60s, 1960s when I first met Donald E. Wildmon at the Lee Acres United Methodist Church in Tupelo, Mississippi. Well, this will be the short version. At that time I was a preteen and a new Christian. I moved away after about a year and I remember the stories he would tell and how they impacted my thinking. Throughout these years, I know Jesus has been keeping me for his purpose. That's what it's all about when you give your life to christ. I'm almost 70 years old now and a few years ago I had a rental car for various reasons blessed me There. So after two or three days of driving that car, I got in the car that morning. When the radio came on, I realized it had changed stations. As it came on, I heard the voice of ah, Donald E. Wildmon. Since then my radio has been on the AFR station. I feel I have a closer walk with Jesus because of all the different programs offering so much information in so many areas, like the things that are going on today that we deal with every day just knowing that Jesus loves me and he has the answers. So if we believe in him, he will bring us home to Him. I want to thank each and every person involved with the American Family association and exploring the Word. Please pray for their continuing ability to bring the word of Jesus Christ to the world. May God bless you all. Thank you.
>> Jeff Chamblee: it's Founders Day on American Family Radio and we're honoring the legacy of Brother Don Wildmon.

>> Jeff Chamblee: You can help us honor Brother Don's faithfulness and continue his ministry with your support. Call 877-616-2396 to make your pledge or give [email protected] it's founders day on American Family Radio.
Abraham Hamilton III speaking of the need for discernment tomorrow
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner, Abraham Hamilton III here speaking of the need for discernment as we announced yesterday. Let me, let me mention the number to call is 877-616-2396. We've been mentioning it all day. 877-616-2396. This is day two of the Sharathan. Tomorrow is the last day. if God is stirring you, you're moved to participate. Don't put off do so now. This is the time to do so. 877-616-2396 or you can give securely [email protected] that is afr.net speaking of the need for discernment. And, and I'm going to dig into this a bit more, a bit more as we go through the show. They count my sneezes, y'.
>> Speaker E: All.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: If you know me, you know it's never one, it's never a long sneeze. All right, the need for discernment.
President Trump announced a joint ceasefire with Iran yesterday
So we announced yesterday during the program Breaking news, President Trump announced the joint ceasefire. Well, didn't take a long time for that announced ceasefire to face some shakiness what is true. And then all of a sudden you saw circulating all around the country and on the social media A, ah, 10 point proposition offered by the Iranians. But it turns out what was circulating around the Internet was not the 10 point proposition that served as the basis that encouraged President Trump to announce the cease fire. If you follow me on social media, you I shared the 10 point plan and I asked the question to President Trump, is this the 10 point basis to which you got immediate response? We'll get to that in a moment, but before we do so, I want to, invite you to join me in listening to a listener testimony. because it's one of the things that really has been, striking me in the heart as I'm hearing them. And like you, I'm hearing these for the first time. So some in our production staff have heard these, but I have not heard these testimonies. And so you, you and I are sharing that experience together as we bear witness to how people just like yourselves all around our country, are being affected and impacted by the work that God is doing through American Family Radio.
>> Caroline: I listen to American Family Radio every waking moment. It seems like anytime I'm in my vehicle or I also listen to podcast that I've missed. But I want to say that American Family Radio over the years I have listened to, has been a great inspiration to me as a pastor, keeping me informed of the things going on in the world, in the church, in the family. And I just greatly appreciate everyone there at American Family Radio. I, financially support you as well during the share of bonds. I'm so dedicated to listening to American Family Radio that I would say that the numbers on the FM dial are burnt into my liquid crystal screen on my radio, which is a good thing. So again, God bless American Family Radio and to the listeners as well. I hope your ministries continue on for years to come.
Candace Owens: Americans want to return to some semblance of sanity
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Wow, what a stirring testimony. This is a pastor calling in saying how AFR has been such a blessing to him, to where he says that the numbers the radio station on the FM M dial is burned into. He said it's liquid crystal screen. He said he got a tattoo on his radio screen that was lcd. Lcd, L lcd, you know what I mean? This is not ltd, lcd, not ltd. H I, J, K, L, M, N O and A P, you know what I mean? Praise God for that. 877-616-2396 is the number to call. 877-616-2390 is the number to call or you can give securely online at afr.net [email protected] a one time gift of $150 or more net will offer as simply an expression of our gratitude as a thank you. Five pocket constitutions embossed with the AFA logo. celebrating the 250th anniversary of our Declaration of Independence. great, commission partnership at the $30 per month level will net you will offer, as a expression of thanks to you as well, the five pocket constitutions in addition to the 250th America celebration of our Declaration, wristbands for you and your family. Five of those as well. 877-616-2396 is the number to call or you can give securely [email protected] Now, I mentioned the ridiculousness of the 10 point plan that was circulating on social media. And just so people might know, guys, the Iranian regime has bots and you have paid agitators because they know there is not a nation. And I don't say this with any hubris, I honestly say this in really reverence for God and humility in recognizing what God has done in creating and sustaining the United States of America. There is not a nation, on the planet that will be able to attack us and defeat us militarily. You know, and by God's grace, as you've heard me say, a war horse is a false hope for salvation. But their greatest weapon that they seek to encourage or seek to utilize is to try to divide the American populace, to get the United States of America to make decisions that are not in our own interest, as, fomented from within. See, one of the things that our enemies seek to try to use against us as they know that we are a constitutional republic with democratic features and that our servant leaders are elected routinely. Unlike Xi Jinping, who is dictator for life, we don't have that over here. You know, unlike the Ayatollah regime, we don't have that over here. So they want to try to divide our populace. I've been mentioning, have you noticed, how following the assassination of Charlie Kirk, the regressives witnessed how strong America was unified and people were going to church like never before. And then, almost on a moment's notice, it was a shift. And the shift was, oh, we have to break up this movement that's being described as make America great again. But if you really dig into it, you have Americans wanting to return to some semblance of sanity. All right? What the American people rejected was a potential White House occupier who wanted to use American taxpayer dollars to pay for transgender sex change surgeries of prisoners like that. That's not a high bar. That is, we want to return to some modicum of sanity. My prayer is that America is made godly. Mag America godly. That's what my hope and my prayer is. But there were wicked people who saw that, like, oh, we have to try to divide this. And so there were foreign investments made to pay certain, you know, spokesmiles, you know, who are not committed to truth, they're committed to their own bottom line. And so many people all of a sudden are starting to say the very things that they repudiated years in the past. Tucker Carlsen, I'm looking at you. Megyn Kelly, I'm looking at you. Candace Owens, I'm looking at you. All right. Insane things. And you saw changes occurring. Some of the same things were happening on social media. And so on social media, you, you saw this 10 point plan, quote, Iran's proposed peace plan. Insane, Insane. And I shared, I posted, I said, quote, I said this on X. This can't be the basis for negotiations at real. Donald Trump referred to yesterday that led to the two week ceasefire announcement. And these 10 points are utterly disastrous because when I read these, I said, certainly this can be one of the main things, and I'm not going to even, insult your intelligence by reading all of these, but one of the main things is an insistence upon the ability to enrich uranium. What that's completely contradictory was saying before. So immediately my spidey senses go up. But I saw that circulating everywhere. You had all kinds of people sharing and then the White House had to issue a statement because they saw what I saw. And this is what Press Secretary Carolyn Levitt, Caroline Levitt said in response to the false 10 point plan that was circulating. Listen to and watch Clip number four. Clip four, go.
>> Pam Bondi: The Iranians originally put forward a 10 point plan that was fundamentally unserious, unacceptable and completely discarded. It was literally thrown in the garbage by President Trump and his negotiating team. Many outlets in this room have falsely reported on that plan as being acceptable to the United States. And that is false. With the President's deadline fast approaching and the United States military completely decimating Iran with each passing hour, the regime acknowledged reality to the negotiating team. They put forward a more reasonable and entirely different and condensed plan to the President and his team. President Trump and the team determined the new modified plan was a workable basis on which to negotiate and to align it with our own 15 point proposal. The President's red lines, namely the end of Iranian enrichment in Iran, have not changed. And the idea that President Trump would ever accept an Iranian wish list as a deal is completely absurd. The President will only make a deal that serves in the best interests of the United States of America. And he, as a negotiating team, will focus on this effort over the next two weeks, so long as the Strait of Hormuz remains open with no limitations or delays.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Now, before I go too far on that, I want you to consider that, let that wash over you for a moment while I remind you of the Share a thon number. 877-616-2396 is the number to call. 877-616-2390 is the number to call. Or you can make your gift securely [email protected] that is afr.net because, for example, how many places are you going to go when you're going to hear a, ah, willingness to explain what's happening as opposed to, oh man, I saw the same point playing. Is that what it is or what's going on? Right, so getting back to this, according to Caroline Levitt, and of course some people will say, well, Abe, you're taking her word for it. Look, I'm reporting the information for you to have all of the information and for you to make your mind up. I will not be hesitant to give him my opinion, but ultimately the point is for you to get all of the information, the cogent and pertinent information, and you make your mind, you use the mind that God gave you. All right? Does it really make sense to you that President Trump would make a cease fire announcement based upon his agreement to a plan that one of the major points is Iran is going to continue to enrich uranium to build a nuclear weapon? Does that make sense to you? Does that make sense to you? Again, I'm not gonna even dignify the plan by going through all of the 10 points because as Caroline Levitt said, that was something that the Iranians did submit and guess what? They did. That's what the White House did. Throw it in the trash. Threw it in the trash and said, excuse me. Then thereafter, according to Caroline Levitt, another plan was submitted that was not this. All right? In that later submitted plan.
White House says 10 point plan circulating as Iran peace plan is a lie
So the first thing I want to address, and this is the White House is saying that this 10 point plan that was circulating as Iran's proposed, proposed peace plan and saying that that is the basis of, the ceasefire announcement is a flat lie. That's what the White House is saying. That's a flat out lie. And it's, isn't it interesting that some of the usual suspects are all too willing to share that online, you know, all too willing to share that kind of the the mullah friendly outlets and persons willing to share that. You literally have, and this, this is absurd. Here you have Tucker Carlsen saying things like nations under Sharia law are faring better than United States of America. Sharia law, Sharia, You know, when like 11 year old girls are married off to 70 something year old men, 60 something year old men against their will, you know, that kind of stuff. It's insane what's happening. So the White House is saying that's a flat lie. That is, that is not the basis of what's happened. And y' all know me, I'm an equal opportunity truth teller. So when you have this 10 point plan that the White House is saying is a flat lie, it creates the environment for the President, say, well, what is the basis of the negotiations? Because while that is happening at the exact same time you have in an answer to one of the questions I've asked, if you're negotiating with Iran, who is doing the negotiations? Iranian Parliament speaker Mohammed Bagir Galiboff is the one who is serving as the point person. It was announced today that the US and Iran are going to meet Saturday in Islamabad, Pakistan for negotiation purposes. All right, so you have Muhammad Galibov saying that, wait a minute, the ceasefire that was announced has already been violated. But they're saying it's been violated. And I want you to listen closely to this is violated because they're continued fighting in Lebanon. Holy player who's got supposed to be representing Iran, Right? Somebody wants to explain to me why they talking about Lebanon. Why is Lebanon coming out of the mouths of the Iranian negotiators? Why are they still attacking their neighbors?
>> Speaker E: Ah.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: And why is Iran popping firecrackers off at other nations in the Gulf? What's going on there? It's almost as if the Iranians view Lebanon as a vassal state of Iran. And let me ask another question. Who is it that wants to shoot from Lebanon and what are they shooting at? Isn't that interesting? Next, there's complaints about an Iranian drone and then it said a, denial of Iran's right to enrichment, equal opportunity truth teller. I think the stage has been set. And again, I don't want the President to show all his hand and put himself in a, disadvantaged, position in negotiations. But you're saying that the 10 points that are circulating is a lie. So what is the truth? What is the truth? One of the things that has been stated consistently is that ain't no way we're going to tolerate nuclear enrichment from Iranians. And that's the whole point of this from the beginning, according to the administration, that's the whole point. So I think the stage has been set to articulate what is really happening because. Because if you're going to have a two week ceasefire, it has to be for some certain substantial reason otherwise, and this is what the administration is saying, is that if you guys want to play these games, then we'll just go back to what we're doing beforehand. That's the bottom line. So you can play these games, you can play with the straight of her moves and all of these things for which is go back to what we're doing beforehand. And this is why I started the show off with what I did. Discernment is what we need. How can we rightly discern what is true and what is not true? There are forces in our nation just as the ones that shot campaigning soon to be President Trump. They want to see the President fail now. Some want to see him fail.
In honor of brother Don and Linda Wildman, American Family Radio celebrates Founders Day
>> Jeff Chamblee: In honor of brother Don and Linda Wildmon, it's founders day on AFR.
>> Bert Harper: Brother Don Wildmon became my friend over 20 years ago. I was pastoring here in a church, in Tupelo, Mississippi, where AFA was headquartered. I'd heard about Don Wildmon, but then I met him. And because of our roots being rural, I think we had an instant friendship. And after I was introduced to him, he asked me to be on the board. and I was in that leadership position for over 20 years. And I remember one of the times after the journal was being used and we were looking at expanded, he introduced to us the idea of a radio station right here in Tupelo. Well, that took place in one meeting. The next one we came to, he was introducing us to the very idea of a nation of over hundreds of stations. And he said, we can do it. And all the board looked at him and says, here we go again. And Don Wildmon, I'm privileged to know him. And he was able to take me into the vision of looking what God could do. And today, because Brother Don had that vision, we're blessed to have the message of Jesus Christ, to be taken to a nation and even to a world. Don Wilemon was that visionary leader and I'm thankful that I know him.
>> Jeff Chamblee: Brother Don has been standing in the gap for families and Linda has been standing behind him since the inception of this ministry more than 40 years ago. We praise the Lord for our founder's obedient service and we invite you to make a gift in their honor. During Shareathon on Every afr.
>> Speaker E: My name's Joyce and I live in Cleveland, Arkansas. And I just want y' all to know, every morning, I listen to your station on my way to work and it gives me so much joy and fills my cup, gets me through my day. I work at a sheriff's office and I see so much bad in the world, but I do see good in the world, and I just try to make a better place. Thank you for all you do.

The number to call to make Your gift is 877-616-2396. Just as a reminder, all gifts to AFR, are tax deductible. 877-616-2396 is the number to call. Or you can give securely online by going to afr.net that is afr.net God is at hand. There's so many things happening, to where the light of God's word as applied first, and foremost to, doctrinal offerings and secondarily to the issues of the day. This is a critical time for that to happen. 877-616-2396 is the number to call. That is 877-616-2396. Or you can give securely online at afr.net, you know, it's interesting. Vice President J.D. vance said there was just a misunderstanding that the Iranians thought that, Lebanon was involved in the ceasefire. And President Trump has said that that's a separate skirmish. That's a separate skirmish.
>> Caroline: J.D.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Vance says that there's a misunderstanding, but the announcement has been made that the Iranians will meet with the US in Islamabad, Pakistan on Saturday. That is what has been stated. but 877-616-2396 is the number to call, or you can give securely [email protected] let's take a few moments and listen together to another listener testimony to see what God is doing through AFR all over our country.
>> Caroline: Hi, my name is Callie. I'm from Allen, Texas. I started listening to AFR several years ago when I lived in Indiana. It has been such a blessing to find a, radio station that actually can speak the truth and speak God's word through the very many broadcasters that you have on your radio station. I love listening from 7am in the
>> Speaker E: morning all through the day.
>> Caroline: I love the variety of the radiocast members and I love the different views and takes that everyone has. I love how it relates back to the Bible. And there's always inspirational messages as well as cross references to where God spoke to us in the Bible. I pray that AFR will continue to have a long lasting impact on many listeners throughout the United States and the world. And I hope that everybody has a blessed day.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Well, praise God. Praise God. 877616 is the number to call. You can make your pledge by phone. We have workers standing by to receive your call. 877-616-2396. Or you can give securely [email protected]. you know, I want to be clear about something. y' all know I'm an equal opportunity truth teller. I think the President does need to, at this juncture, to give clarity as to, what the basis of the announcement for the ceasefire included. I don't think he needs to go blow by blow, give every single detail, but I do think he needs to repudiate what's being presented and I believe they're endeavoring to do that. Now, concerning what the Iranians are saying, we're a breach of the ceasefire, because this is a pivotal juncture. I mean, this is gonna be the defining feature of President Trump's second term. If for good or for bad or worse or indifferent, this is it, this is it. So this is something that you can't afford, to miss badly on for the benefit of, the American people, for our nation, for the benefit of our allies internationally and set the course to put America on the trajectory, to have sound, wise governance that exceeds the Trump administration. That this is the juncture to do that now on the home front. Something that people, and I guess I want to mention this too. There is a concerted effort to try to provoke division, and to undermine the administration in our own country and again, call a spade a spade, tell the truth about what's going on. But we need discernment to know whether or not we may be unwitting outlets for IRGC propaganda or if we are rightly discerning what is happening, according to what I just shared in the previous segment, that the 10 point plan that people are talking about, that has no bearing on what ultimately led to the announced ceasefire that was junked immediately, and Iranians presented something else. So that is something for you all to consider.
Supreme Court overturns California law that prevents teachers from telling parents about transgender concerns
but on the domestic front, many may remember, and I reported on this back in March, March 2, actually. The U.S. supreme Court issued its opinion in the Mirabelli vs. Banta case out of California. It was a case that had to deal with the law that the California state legislature passed that its governor, Gavinito Nusolini, signed into law that prevented, teachers and school administrators from telling parents if a child is talking about they want to transition their sex at school, that the law literally said the school administrators and officials cannot tell the parents. Well, unsurprisingly, parents and teachers sued the state of California to say this is unconstitutional. You can't pass a law that forces me to keep vital information from the parents of a child that I'm supposed to be helping to serve. So the supreme court, in a 6 to 3 decision, overturned California's law, saying, california, you crazy. Y' all think y' all can do this is insane. And so the district court judged the federal court in California first, first said, california, you crazy, you can't do this. The ninth circus reversed the district court judge. That's how the case got to the Supreme Court. Well, see, what had happened was, in addition to that, there were teachers and employees who filed a damage action against the state of California, saying, nah, chief, y' all not gonna just violate our constitutional rights and just say, oops, my bad. Y' all owe us a Monty run the Monty run the funds. So in an attendant case, and I have it right here before me, to where Isabel Mirabelli, same plaintiff name against Mark Olson, filed a lawsuit against the Tate of California. Say now, since you know the Supreme Court has slapped you down because I told y' all y' all were crazy, but y' all didn't want to listen to me. I told you, you can't make that a law. Y' all don't want to listen. You took it all with the Supreme Court. Now y' all have to pay my fees. And so an order was issued this week, Monday, to pay the plaintiffs in the case, and a half million dollars in fees. That is in addition, or should I say, along with the Supreme Court saying that the state of California is crazy and they cannot do that. Now, the one thing about this man. It really is troublesome to me on several fronts. And I'm going to talk about another case in a moment too. the sad part about this, the legislators who passed this law, Gavinito Lucillini, who signed it into law, they're not going to pay this money. No one end up paying these fees, the California taxpayers. So it ends up happening. Not much, because these are the people that violated American citizens constitutional rights, parents constitutional rights. But then the taxpayer is going to be one stuck with the bill. And I think there has to be an adjustment that allows for, I'm not saying, you know, broad based personal liability or anything like that, but there has to be a capacity, for the people that are actually violating the constitutional rights for them to have to deal with some of the responsibility for what they've done personally instead of being able to shovel everything off on the taxpayers. Because you're going to have many of the same taxpayers that were trying to warn the state of California that, that you were wrong in the first place. Now they're going to have to shoulder the bill to pay for the fees in this case. It's crazy. It's crazy.
AFR is a ministry that seeks to aid the local church
877-616-2396 is the number to call to give during this Share a Thon to participate during the Share a Thon. Every contribution matters. There is no amount too small, there's no amount too large. unless you are violating covenants. We always say, never take away from what you're giving to your local church to replace it with us. we are a ministry that seeks to aid the local church. But, we are grateful for every gift. we are a grassroots organization largely where it's everyday people who help make up what's going on here. And I often make the analogy that when the Apostle Paul is ministering and writing, you know, nearly a third of the entire NewSong Testament, we see the apostle Paul and rightly respect him and glorify God for the work that God has done through him. But everywhere we see the apostle Paul. Guess who else God sees there? Ananias. If you remember, Ananias is the one that God had to go on a street called Straight to lay hands on the apostle Paul after he was smitten with blindness. And Ananias at first was afraid, if you remember, he's like, lord, you know, the guy you trying to send me to. And the Lord revealed to Ananias, yes, this is a guy who's going to serve me. Well. but one of the things that you ought to convey to him is all of the things that he will suffer for my name's sake. And so Ananias trusted God enough to do that. And so wherever you see the Apostle Paul ministering, God sees Ananias and the Apostle Paul. And why am I saying that? it's because people like me, Pastor bert Harper, Alex McFarland and others who are behind the microphones, we're often seen as being on the front line. but God sees those that are behind the scenes helping to provide the material support to keep this ministry flowing. I am grateful to God that we don't have any allegiances to big Pharma, to massive sponsors and all of these things. Our allegiances are solely to God and to our supporters. And that's it. And because we are committed to standing flat footed and in proclaiming the truth of God's word, we are grateful for the alliance that we have with you. So when you call 877-616-2396, you help to keep this going. 877-616-2396. I've heard from many listeners and supporters who said, man, I want to make sure that AFR is available for my grandchildren. It's been a blessing to me in my lifetime. It's helped shape my own, my own children. I want this to be available for my grandchildren. by making your gift, by offering your pledge during shareathon is one of the ways that you help to cause that desire to be a reality. 877-616-2396 is the number to call 877-6-16-2396 or you can give securely online at afr.net afr.net net every gift is 100% tax deductible. And so it's important for you to know that we are a part of the Evangelical Council for Financial Responsibility, also known as ecfa. and we are happy to be accountable, to have an external source of accountability to aid us in shepherding and stewarding the finances to God entrusted this ministry.
CBS has canned late night comedian Stephen Colbert, replacing him with two shows
Well, all right, one other story that this has kind of been behind the scenes, but it's interesting. Many of you have recognized that for years late night television in America has not been funny. Steven Colbert is not funny. He's a political commentator masquerading as comedian. But in order to be a comedian, there's one ingredient that's necessary and that is that you have to be funny. So CBS has canned Steven Colbert. He's done. Done. Steven Colbert is done. Yes. His final episode will be May 21, Steven Colbert is done. He will be replaced by two shows run by Byron Allen. The shows are first Comics unleashed with Byron Allen, which will air at 11:35pm followed by funny, you should ask, which is a comedy game show. The LineUp will debut May 22nd. So Steven Colbert's last show was May 21st. He's got. He's gone, he's done. And you tell me why you think CBS said Nah, you know, Steve. Oh, let you get the old heave ho. No more vaccine dancers. No. No more Mac. No more, no more injection dances, no more injection jiggles and wiggles. None of that. Byron Allen says who is the replacement leading the replacement of Steven Colbert? He says he's talked to all of the comedians that work on his show and he says we are working to produce something that is, quote, evergreen. So I don't want to hear any political humor. Just be funny, be family friendly, and be advertiser friendly. End quote. That's what Byron Allen said. That is what is replacing Steven Colbert at cbs. So why do you think they gave O, Steve O. The he foe, huh? Could it be because Steve O is not funny? M. Could it be because Steve O is not family friendly? Could it be because Steve O thinks his political commentary is humor and because Steve O is not advertiser friendly? Because here's the name of the game, folks, to be advertiser friendly, guess what, you have to be ratings friendly. Steven Colbert drove people away from CBS. So May 21 is his last day. He gone. He gone. Well, while I for one will not shed a tear for Steven Colbert, I don't want anybody to lose their jobs. But also I don't want people like Steven Colbert projecting smut into our body politic. But by God's grace, AFR is here. And by his grace, and with your support, we will continue to be here. 877-616-2396 is the number to call. 877-616-2390 is the number to call or you can give securely [email protected] that is website afr.net we are winding down to the end of today's programming, but I want to remind you something that I say very often on the show is that God has ordained you and me to be alive right now. The scripture tells us in Acts chapter 17 that before time he determined the boundary of our habitation and the times in which we would live. So the fact that we are alive in the 21st century at a time where we have a city Supreme Court justice who conveniently or inconveniently, depending your perspective, is unaware of what a woman is. It's not a coincidence that we're alive at this juncture. The fact that we are alive at a time where even justices like Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor understand Colorado. You can't tell a mental health professional that they can't help a child rid themselves of unwanted same sex attraction.
>> Caroline: Duh.
>> Abraham Hamilton III: God has planted us here for this moment and to tell us why. And he told us why so men, meaning mankind, would seek God, perhaps find our way towards it. Simply put, brothers and sisters, God has ordained us for this moment. Let's not miss our moment. We can, if we will.
