Hamilton: God has called us to be ambassadors even in this dark moment
>> Abraham Hamilton III: Darkness is not an affirmative force. It simply reoccupies the space vacated by the light. This is the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio. It should be uncomfortable for a believer to live as a hypocrite, delivering people out of the bondage of mainstream media and the philosophies of this world. God has called you and me to be his ambassadors even in this dark moment. Let's not miss our moment. And now the Hamilton Corner. Good evening everyone.
American Family Radio host Abraham Hamilton talks about gratitude and family priorities
Welcome to the Hamilton Corner here on American Family Radio. I'm your host, Abraham Hamilton iii. Grateful to be with you. I have to tell you I may have to go into more detail on this at a later date. I won't be able to do this today, but man, it has been quite a time where you know, the Lord has really been convicting me and ministering to me about gratitude. and it's one of the tools that we as followers of the Way of Jesus Christ, Yeshua, the Messiah, that we are equipped and fortified against, succumbing to the insanity of this world and even the I would say the normalizing efforts to make professing believers comfortable with varying degrees of godlessness. You know, it should not be lost on us that much of the chicanery that's happening in our day right now really flows, if you, when you get right down to it, from an entitlement that's related to a lack of gratitude. You know, it is, it's been quite a journey. It's been quite a journey and it continues to be quite a journey and I look forward to unpacking that as it continues at this very moment. Many of you, if not most of you are making your transition from your part time jobs where you generate an income to your full time jobs where you cultivate an outcome. And as you do so, I would like to remind you, as we do daily on this program, to do so with intentionality, understanding the primacy that God places on family. This is what we're going to, going to talk about quite a bit this weekend at. Not this weekend, next week, next weekend. Boy, the time is running next weekend in Simsborough, Louisiana. If you have not registered yet, what are you waiting for? Go to fbcsimsboro.org and register. there's no fee, no payment necessary for the event. It's the family focused weekend. Family focused weekend. the church would just like to have an idea as to how many people they can expect to attend because they want to provide food for attendees and you have the option there, to register for, one night, two nights, or the entire weekend, however you choose to do so. I know there has been some contacts made. There are provisions that are made available for childcare. If you have questions about that, I'd encourage you to contact the church. FBCsimsborough.org is website. but we're going to be talking about why the family must be, our focus, why we have to place focus there. And I don't mean to offer it or present that as if it is the exclusive focus. However, it is a primary focus in God's kingdom. And for far too long we've relegated it, the family, that is to a secondary or tertiary consideration and placed importance on everything else, to the neglecting of the family. And because darkness is not an affirmative force, it merely reoccupies the space vacated by the light when we allow the family to be relegated to a secondary or tertiary consideration. Guess what? Reoccupies? Yeah. So as you're making your transition to your full time jobs, do so with intentionality. we are joined by the corner contingent right across from me. My man, 100 grand. Mr. Bobby is here and producer extraordinaire. Often imitated, never duplicated. The real J. Mac is in the screening room and we are ready to rock and roll with today's edition of the program.
We are going to begin in the Word of God as we do on a daily basis
We are going to begin in the Word of God as we do on a daily basis on this show. Today we're going to turn to Psalm 119, the longest chapter in the Bible. this is a psalm. So this text you should envision, put to music, the 119th Psalm. In addition to being the longest psalm in scripture, it is also a poem, a Hebrew acrostic poem. Each stanza in the poem begins with a successive letter of the Hebrew Alphabet. I mean, this is, I mean the entire scripture, honestly, is a marvel of literary offerings, which we shouldn't be surprised at because it's divinely crafted. but it's just amazing what is there. but man, the word of God is so nourishing and enriching and it must, if it's not your habit yet. If you are listening to this program, I want to challenge you and encourage you to make a daily appointment to commune with the Lord through his Word. In His Word. this is time you will not regret investing. Like everybody, we all have lives that are busy. I'm a very busy man. but I am so busy, I cannot afford to commune with the Lord through His Word. and the more you do so, the more, the Creator of heaven and earth reveals himself to you through his holy word. And this text is an example of that. Psalm 119. this is the stanza, verses 33 through 40. Again, this is a portion of this Hebrew acrostic poem. And this is what the Lord says through his word. Teach me. This is the psalmist writing. Teach me, O Lord, the way of your statutes, and I will keep it. Keep it to the end, or keep it as a reward. Give me understanding that I may keep your law and observe it with a whole heart. With my whole heart. Lead me in the path of your commandments, for I delight in it. Incline my heart to your testimonies and not to dishonest gain or to selfish gain. Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things and give me life. In your ways. Confirm to your servant your promise that it produces reverence for you or that you may be feared. Turn away the reproach that I dread. For your ordinances are good, for your rules are good. Behold, I long for your precepts. In your righteousness Give me life. So right at the beginning and again, I want to encourage you to envision this melodically because this is a psalm divinely inspired as a psalm. And the psalmist is again inspired by the Lord as carried about by his Spirit to cry out for the Lord to teach me the way of your statutes, and I will keep it to the end, or keep it as my reward, as it may be rendered as well. Give me understanding that I may keep your law and observe it with my whole heart. The communication from this portion of the psalm, guys, makes a vibrant connection between instruction and, or understanding and how instruction or understanding empower, obedience. Teach me your statutes, O Lord, and I will keep it. Give me understanding, O Lord, and I will keep your law and observe it with my whole heart. Guys. This is why I encourage daily meeting with the Lord through his Word, Because the more you understand him, the more he is unfolded to you by divine revelation. It has a direct impact on the quality of life you live as a result. It moves you away from kind of, ah, I would say a normalized, cultural, really socio pagan disposition of humanistic moralism to beholding the face of God. And the life that is lived is the life that is lived in view of the revelation of God. It is. It takes it out of just a theoretical realm and it makes it real, it makes it tangible. I often say, when you have the steady habit of reading the Lord's Word, what You ultimately end up experiencing. Is the Lord reading you through his word, you begin to recognize man. Oh, Lord, that is where I am. That is what is happening, you know. This is why you have the consistent admonition to the believer. Like Romans 12, believer, don't be conformed to this world. Well, what should we do then? Rather be transformed. What is that vehicle of transformation? Renewing your mind. Renewing your. Your mind. Renewing your mind. God knows when we are born again that our minds are not instantaneously renewed. But what transpires as a result of that dual imputation that our sin is imputed to Jesus and Jesus righteousness is imputed to us. We are indwelled by the Spirit of God. We now ascertain a capacity that did not exist for prior to that regeneration. We now have the capacity to obey the Lord. And that capacity is not engendered humanistically. That capacity is superintended by God, the Holy Spirit. And as that superintendency takes residence in our lives and our hearts, we now. We now have eyes that are opened, ears that are opened, hearts that are softened to receive the engrafted word of God. And as that transpires, our minds are renewed. Our understanding is enlightened. Enlightened. And that understanding powers obedience. The cumulative impact of that reality is that we are able to live lives where we get to enjoy what the Hebrew writer describes. The Book of Hebrews I'm talking about describes as the peaceable fruit of righteousness. It is the life quality that results from living and walking and endeavoring in a life of righteousness. This is why. Oh, I say it differently. This is how you, you move from merely perceiving holiness as an external characteristic to be observed. It becomes an internal reality that our hearts yearned for. And then we have the promise as articulated in the. In the Gospel of Matth you, that those who hunger and thirst after righteousness. Guys. That hungering and thirsting after righteousness is a real phenomenon. Is a real phenomenon. One of the evidences of that proper hungering and thirsting is reflected right in this exact psalm. look at verse 37.
Understanding empowers obedience and transforms our perspective on worthless things
That hunger and thirsting, that understanding that is given, that empowers obedience, causes the disciples plea to be. Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things. As that hungering and thirsting capacity is increasing within us. Our discernment, our, capacity to identify things that are valuable and worth investing in and things that are worthless, that are vanity exercises, that are things that have no eternal benefit, that are things that have no substantive quality to them. No merit to them. It changes everything. It changes everything. And it causes us to no longer be willing to give ourselves in worthless pursuits, in worthless endeavors and in worthless things. Verse 40. Behold, I long for your precepts. Some of you are listening to me, and you'll say, abe, I don't understand how this could actually happen. Whenever I try to open the scripture, man, I get sleepy. It's boring to me, guys. Don't let that stop you. The lord revealed to us in Paul's epistle to the philippians that he works within us both to will and to do according to his good pleasure. This posturing, this positioning ourselves for this transformation where understanding empowers obedience, that it burgeons into a transformed appetite to where, the things that used to be exciting, they're not as exciting anymore. And the things that used to be boring, these things now have new life, and they transform our perspective. Behold, I long for your precepts. In your righteousness, Quicken me to life. In your righteousness that is available. Thank you, lord.
A pro life church needs to be a praying church
A discipleship minute with Joseph Parker. What should a pro life church look like? What are some of the priorities, attributes, and perspectives of a local church which seeks to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our nation today as it addresses life issues? A pro life church needs to be a praying church. Through prayer, they help to usher in the presence of God into their church, and they share the heart and the mind of God with the culture. It can help a church, family and an individual believer to both ask and receive the answer to another important question. The question the apostle Paul asked immediately after he met Christ in Acts, chapter 9, verse 6. Lord, what do you want me to do? And a very important companion question is, am I really seeking to honor the lord in doing what he would have me to do as an individual disciple of Christ to help stand for life, Shining light into the darkness. This is the Hamilton corner on american family radio.
Abraham Hamilton III questions why the halftime show is getting so much coverage
Welcome back to the Hamilton corner. Abraham Hamilton III here. I'm in the studio, and, you know, there's news playing in the. In the. In the studio. And it just, you know, and I asked this question, you know, to some of our security personnel on staff, and I was kicking this around with Bobby. It's gravely sad and concerning what's happening with Savannah Guthrie's mom, Nancy guthrie. But I just had a question. Why is it having such ubiquitous news coverage? Is it because Savannah Guthrie is kind of a celebrity? Is that the thing? having a background and prosecuting major felonies? I can tell you There are lots of cases that, include, sadly to say, kidnappings and things of this nature, missing persons and things of that sort. and I understand that there's a distinction. There are certain cases that are what we would call, media cases that garner media attention for a host of reasons. But usually when a case becomes a media case, it's pretty obvious as to why that. That is the case. And I'm just. I don't know, I just, I see this coverage and I'm like, man, they sure covering this, you know, in great detail and, and multiple angles. And it just makes me wonder what's. What, what's going on here? you know, you know, like there's a homicide case that, that I was, looking into that has not. Not gotten major attention. I'll, ah, pull it up here. I have this case up here. Do I still have it? Decatur Thompson, young lady who was murdered in the Maryland area. Now she's been killed, but as I'm saying that name, many of you are saying, like, who, what, she was killed by an illegal alien. yeah, it's just. I'm just. I'm not trying to. I never want to compare people's misery and compare pain, but I'm. This is just interesting to me. It just stands out to me. All right, let me, Let me get, Let me move on. I'll, I'll move on from that. it's just, it's just weird to me that the, the exhaustive coverage, you know, of this story, that's the thing. It's not that it's being covered, but it's exhaustively being covered, you know. Anyway, there's been lots of conversations and, and commentary and things on, you know, the super bowl halftime show. I'm not trying to virtue signal anything, but I didn't watch it, you know, but it's not the first halftime show I didn't watch. like, you guys know, I have young children. I try to be vigilant about what I allow in my home, you know, regardless if it's a Super bowl or not. And I saw, you know, Representative Ogles post, saying that he wants to investigate, you know, the lewd lyrics and, you know, the. I'll just say it this way, the pelvic thrusts and all these things as being inappropriate. And both the NFL and NBC knew about it beforehand, which, you know, I agree with. I agree with that. It's not appropriate for children. But there were a lot of other super bowl halftime shows that were not appropriate for children either. You Know what I mean? The bigger issue that I have is much of the profane lyrics. And, you know, many of you guys know because, you know, my wife is a, Spanish speaker. English is her second language. Even though she learned English pretty much contemporaneously to learning Spanish. most of the Americans, people who did watch it, they didn't know what he was saying. They don't know what he was saying. Now, don't misconstrue what I'm saying. I'm not saying that because they didn't know what he was saying. That makes it okay. No, I think the bigger issue is what the halftime show represents. You know, it's a broadside. And let's just be clear about something. Jay Z, the rapper turned businessman turned whatever else, you know, how you want to describe him, is responsible for selecting who performs at the halftime show. So he's the one who picked, you know, Bad Bunny this year. He's the one who picked Kendrick Lamar last year. You know, he's the one, and everybody knew he was gonna do the whole deal in Spanish. Now, here's the thing. The super bowl is the largest media event in our country. Every year. Every year, you have people who don't care anything about football. They get together with friends and family, often concerned for the super bowl and what it represents. And here's the reality. And I think people, if you will be honest about this, be objective. Well, what, What, What? Be objective. Yeah, right. In this day and age. Be objective. try to be objective. The issue is you're going to have a halftime celebration to where it is the largest media event in the United States of America, where the. The language of the United States of America is English. And you're going to do an event that the majority, the overwhelming majority of the American population are unable to. To comprehend. That's an intentional effort to say what you thought was America is no longer that. And that is the intentional provocation that is happening here. And Jay Z is leading it, and the NFL is allowing it, and NBC is broadcasting it. That's the issue. So for those who are saying, oh, man, you just. He's just a racist. You, woman. No, it's not. Stop the presses. Stop the presses. Let's just keep it real. There would be no reggaeton if it wasn't for rap in hip hop. Let's just be real. Let's.
I didn't like the Turner Point USA halftime show either
Come on, man. Dude became famous doing a Spanish interpolation of an American art form. That's. That's just the truth. Now imagine. Imagine that you have like a World cup or, you know, the Copa or whatever, and you say, you know what? For the big time entertainment, we're going to have a, country music artist be the entertainment for, you know, La Liga 24 final, you know, that's. That's what you're gonna have. You have Garth Brooks, you know, let's get. Let's get Garth. Is he the one that goes in all black? Which, which, one goes in all black? I don't know. Garth Brooks is. Oh, no, I wasn't talking about that. isn't that another one that goes in all black? Maybe I'm wrong. I don't know, because I don't know these things. That's not your trip, you know, but here's the thing. People who speak Spanish natively understand that. So you're going to have the Spanish festival headlined by Garth Brooks. Come on, man, stop the presses. You know what's going on here. So you had. Once that announcement was made, you had the Turning Point USA have their deal. And this is something. And this might not be a popular opinion, but y' all know me, I don't care. I'm going to tell you what I think. I didn't like the Turner Point USA halftime show either. Not because of musical genre. I did country music. It ain't my top favorite, but, you know, it's cool as a. As a genre. This is why I didn't dig the Turning Point USA to halftime show either. Do you guys remember when this thing first got announced? And. And. Well, let me, Let me, Let me take a few steps back. Before Charlie Kirk was murdered, he had a trajectory. Much of his public engagement at its genesis was solely political. Then he had a personal arc where he, from his own mouth would say, I thought economics was a jam, that that needed to be what needed to be addressed. But then he began to realize, oh, no, this is much bigger than having a, proper economic philosophy. There's some worldview considerations. And he kept digging. He said, man, yeah, this worldview is big, but I realize even worldview, there's something even bigger than that. And he turned the focal point of his work to proclaiming the gospel. Many people witnessed this, you know, many people witnessed this. He began to talk about the gospel. Shortly before he was murdered. He was asked, what is one thing if you want to be remembered for anything? His words were, I want to be remembered for courage, for my faith. Right? My concern with Turning Point USA is that Charlie Kirk's vision and investment wasn't necessarily shared unanimously throughout all of Turning Point usa. And I'm concerned that Turning Point USA is more than willing to kind of reverse course away from where Charlie Kirk was leading the organization now to the halftime show. When conversations started first about Turning Point USA offering an alternative halftime show. Do you remember what the conversations were initially? You had people like Forrest Frank and Corrie Asbury. I'm not saying the music is the greatest. I'm not throwing shade or anything like that. But they specifically said that we want to be involved in not only doing a counter halftime program, but take advantage of the moment to point the nation to Jesus to have a worship event. Do y' all remember that? Some people don't remember that. And I didn't say much about it because I was just watching it. And then Forrest Frank and Corrie Asbury had to say, you know, we've decided, we're not going to be a part of what Turning Point USA is trying to do. Their vision, this is what they said. Their vision is a bit different from what we were seeking to accomplish. And when that happened, I thought to myself, ruh, roh, what is going on here? What? In what began as a conversation about having a worship center Jesus exalting event became this real America here event. Now listen, I love America. Everybody listening to the show knows this. But America's greatest need is not another patriotic event in which Jesus is a side dish at best. You understand what I'm saying? That's not what we need. That's not what we need. And the Turning Point USA halftime event was very successful. It shows that the nation has an appetite for something other than the smut that is peddled by mainstream or all of that I commend, I celebrate, I'm grateful for. However, I'm gravely concerned. I'm gravely concerned that our populace is more comfortable with just having, Can I say it the way it is A republican form of godlessness, a patriotic form of godlessness. That I'm concerned that many who might identify themselves as, you know, on the right, so to speak, have not heeded the words of our founders. They have not recognized, like what John Adams said, that there is no government that is sufficient to contend with human passions unbridled by religion and morality. That's the statement that precedes the more popular quote from John Adams's quote. Our nation, our Constitution, is for a holy, religious and moral people. It is inadequate for the governance of any other. That's the statement that's made after John Adams says there's no form of. That's sufficient to contend with human passion unbridled by religion and morality. And I just want to tell you something. If we opt for a, patriotism and a conservatism that is godless, you've hopped out of the frying pan and into the fire. And frankly, I'm not in favor of that. So I don't want to be pelvic thrusting with Bugs Bunny and, and, and also don't want to be America a godless Murica over here now. and, because I honestly, I didn't watch it. So I don't know. I didn't watch Bugs Bunny's halftime show and I, I didn't watch the fullness of the Turning Point USA halftime show. I've read that, you know, Kid Rock started with, you know, a profane song from his past and he ended with something indicating his, his, a trajectory, a change in his life that the Lord superintendent. But I've also seen some things that K. Rock has said and done since the halftime show is over like yesterday, okay?
Midterms around the corner; what do you think America will do
And I will never try to. Y' all know my stance. If somebody is born again, they're walking with the Lord. My prayer for them is that they are able to grow and be sanctified in anonymity. The scripture warns us about putting new believers on platforms prematurely. The scripture warns us about that. So I'm not going to try to slam Kid Rock, you know, because I don't know where he is in his journey. And I hope and pray that, you know, that the Lord has, has opened his eyes and broken in upon him and revealed himself to him and that he's met the Lord in salvation. I don't know that. And if that is the case, and that I pray that he's in a discipleship relationship and with a, with a, with a more mature brother in Christ and that he's anchored in, in a Bible teaching, Bible believing church and he's growing. But brothers and sisters, I'm telling you that if we opt. Let me say it this way, if we settle for a right wing version, a conservative version of godlessness, the constant is godlessness. And we will inevitably end up in the same spot, just having traveled there in a slower, at a slower pace. So my plea, my prayer, my hope, and, you know, maybe I'm a pie in the sky kind of guy, whatever you might say is that we not only seek for an alternative to smut, but that we seek, just like I was saying in the first segment, for a hungering and a thirsting after righteousness because. There's no politician that's going to save us as a nation. Mm. If you haven't noticed yet, the Trump administration only has about what, how much time left? Midterms around the corner. There are many who have misinterpreted God granting our nation a reprieve from the insanity of cackling. She shall never be present at the remix, not realizing God has given his body a, reprieve so that we can be about our Father's business and making disciples. So guys, that's that. That is where it is. And I, I know that that is not a message that's popular because in our, our reflexive kind of knee jerk, you know, and I call it political gang banging kind of shirts and skins kind of mentalities, there's no room for, I'll sit this a transcendent convictions. But I just want to tell you plainly, the Lord will share his throne with no one. With no one, with no one, with no one. And if we have an Article 4 U.S. constitution or Article 4 a, guarantee of a constitutional republican form of government to where we are the citizens. Our government is of the people, by the people, for the people, that we as the people get to select our servant leaders and representatives. But we have a continuously and increasingly wicked populace where. What do you think that increasingly and continually wicked populace will do with the right to vote and the right to select its servant leaders? What do you think they're going to select? That's why I'm saying, man, those of us who have discernment, by God's grace, we have to cry out to the Lord for our nation. And as we cry out to the Lord, we have to put feet to our prayer to obey him. We must be executors of, our Father's commission. And we must work while it is Dane. We have to be about our father's businessman. I refuse to settle for godlessness disguised as patriotism. The Ten Commandments aren't arbitrary man made rules, nor are they merely suggestions. God meant them to be law as he hand wrote them on the stone tablets that he gave Moses. They're the basis for many of our nation's laws. And you can show your support for them with a Ten Commandments retro T shirt from the AFA Resource Center. The eye catching design is one you'll be glad to wear just about anywhere or give as a gift. Mental health industry missing the mark. One in five Americans diagnosed with mental illness
Mental health industry missing the mark. This is David Wheaton, host of the Christian Worldview. The statistics are staggering. One in five people in America have been diagnosed with a mental illness. One in six are taking powerful psychotropic medications such as antidepressants, anti anxieties and stimulants. And here's the troubling part. The material brain and the immaterial mind are wrongly considered to be one in the same, which means wrong and harmful treatments are administered. God's way to assign mind is the right way. When we obey his command to be born again, we can then be, as scripture says, transformed by the renewing of your mind. Here our most recent program with Greg Gifford, author of Lies My Therapist told me at thechristianworldview.org, and then tune in this weekend as we discuss freedom from lust. Listen to the Christian Worldview with David Wheaton Saturday mornings at 8 Central on American Family Radio. Abraham Hamilton III: Minnesota sanctuary controversy is manufactured powder keg
Welcome back to the Hamilton Corner. Abraham Hamilton III here. So there was, there, there, there was, lots of conversation consternation. when you had the powder keg, that was Minnesota, you have the Renee Goode tragedy, really a tragedy of our own making. You have the pretty tragedy, which is not identical to the Renee Goode case, but it's a powder keg that, honestly guys, is a manufactured powder keg. And I'm gonna explain why its manufacture. We talk a little bit about it. But before I get to the explanation, I just want to give you this update because the ICE director, Todd Lyons was before Congress and he explained a bit of the lowering of the temperature and really evidence of Tom Holman's effectiveness and his role. And we have to understand that there are different agencies within the Department of Homeland Security. So ICE is not synonymous with border Patrol. Those are two different entities all under the, auspices of dhs, but different components. And unfortunately, man living in the fallen world, pride gets in. And people, because they're human beings, they seek to capitalize and they contribute to the Powder keg. Not least to mention, the efforts by the local officials, both the governor, Tim Walsh and Jacob Fry, seeing, an opportunity for them to kind of shade some of the, stave off some of the heat that they were getting because of all of the fraud that was being exposed there and their complicity allegedly in all of the fraud. But you've had, it's kind of flown under the radar. You've had scores of people indicted due to the revelations of fraud and the scheming and things that are happening there. but Todd Lyons before, Congress testified and explained, look, there's been a turn there. And that, that, that turn in Minneapolis is reflected in the fact that just, you know, last night there were 54 protesters who were arrested by local law enforcement, not federal authorities arrested by local law enforcement. Listened to and watch clip number three. Clip three go. So we've seen a de escalation in the fact that the protests, while they still go on, have subsided and ICE has been allowed to do their targeted, intelligence driven, enforcement operation. Just the other night, local authorities arrested 54 protesters at the local level where ICE officers did not have to be engaged in that. So that is a turn because before now, local law enforcement has kind of been, you know, my name Paul, maybe Minneapolis, St. Paul, but that's on y', all, you know, kind of thing. They've been having a completely hands off approach, which I've said on today's issues and other programs and even on my own program, that this is, this is foundationally making the circumstances more risky for everyone involved. It makes it worse in terms of health and safety for the illegal immigrant. It makes it worse. Worst. It makes it worse. I'm sorry, for the Minneapolis and St. Paul community and communities. It makes it worse for ICE officers. It makes it worse for law. It makes it worse for everybody. Because if the goal, and this has been, and this is what people continually fail to recognize, that Tom Homan didn't just show up on the scene. He was the one responsible for enforcing, removal of illegal aliens under Barack Obama. That's how Trump learned about him. Barack Obama gave Homan an award for how well he was able to identify and remove illegal aliens. Not so fun. Fact is that local law enforcement, local police and local law enforcement officers cooperated with ICE under Barack Obama. That cooperation included. And I explained this before, as a former prosecutor, this is something I did with routine. As a new case would come in, the investigators would run a criminal history and a background check on the new defendant in the new case. If there was an indication that that the new defendant was an illegal alien, there would be an ICE hold applied to that defendant while they were in the local jail. To where my office would notify the federal law enforcement authorities, including Immigrations and Customs Enforcement, to say, hey, there's a guy in our local jail who appears to be an illegal alien. You may want to open your files to confirm whether or not that is true. And if that is true, you. You will need to coordinate with our local law enforcement to facilitate deportation and removal proceedings. Guys, this happened every day that ends in y. All right? When you have sanctuary cities and sanctuary states, these are municipalities or states that have said, we expressly refuse to cooperate with federal law enforcement authorities. And cooperate is the exact term that's employed, because, as it stands, state and municipal governments are not compelled to cooperate with ice. They are incentivized, however, to do so.
Tom Holman announced an immediate drawdown of 700 ICE agents
Now, coming back to the Tom Holman conversation, the express objective all along, as expressed by the Trump administration, is that the priorities in identification and deportation were illegal aliens who commit additional crimes, who have committed additional crimes on American soil. All right? So in addition to having entered our country illegally or having remained in our country illegally, they've committed additional crimes. Where do you think the bulk of people who fit that description, where would we find them? The bulk of the people who would fit that description, we would find in local jails and prisons. So you have an administrative. You have a municipality that has already done this in terms of cooperating with federal law enforcement. When there is a Democrat president in Barack Obama, but now you have a president that's with a different party, but it was saying the exact same thing Barack Obama said. But now you guys say, but we will not cooperate. So then what happens? Then? Then that creates a scenario, because if the federal law enforcement officers are going to implement the policy that the commander in chief, the president, has required, where do they now have to go to find these illegal aliens who've committed additional crimes upon American soil, where do they have to go? If the local law enforcement authorities to say, we will not allow you to get them in our prisons and our jails, where do they have to go? In the streets and what happens in the streets? You have coordinated efforts, because, as I told you, many of these protests, like the one in in city's church, were participated in by local government officials, including in the local county attorney's office, including local city council members. They are creating a. They are creating a scenario where they are attempting to bring, a circus to town. Why else do you think Don, easy peasy lemon juice squeezy shows up with a professional camera crew. They are attempting, guys, they are attempting to create the faux test, to drum up attention, to fan into flame. All of these things that really should remain low level, discreet law enforcement activities. So now what's happened. Tom Holman announced and with his presence in Minneapolis, because he hadn't been there before, and I'm gonna talk about that in a second, announced an immediate drawdown of 700 ICE agents about the quarter of the force. There's still 2,000 ICE agents there, but the drawdown was conditional. Conditioned upon what? I'm so glad you asked. The condition for the drawdown was the cooperation of local law enforcement officials. So Tom Holmans, because people say, oh yeah, Trump surrenders. Like, it's not a surrender, it's a tactical shift. It's a tactical. And here's what I want you guys to understand. It's a tactical shift to what should have been happening in the first place. So it's not. It's not a surrender. It's. Well, this is what we wanted in the first place. So if you will allow us into your jails, if you'll cooperate and let us know, we'll come into the jail and arrest so and so. We're going to the prison and deport so and so. We don't have to do this on the street. We don't have to wait to see if there's a bond hearing. We don't have to wait until they're paroled. We don't have to wait until somebody's going to the grocery store. And the President's administration has said that in the process of detaining these illegal aliens who've committed additional crimes, if there's another illegal alien around, we're not gonna act like they're not illegal. But that's not our priority, you see. So if the objective for everybody, because you think, Jacob Fry and Tim Waltz are gonna say publicly out loud, oh, we oppose the arrest and the deportation of illegal aliens who've committed additional crimes when they've arrived in American soil, even though, you know, that's what they believe, that's what they really feel, but they ain't going to say it out loud. So what has happened that has contributed to the loss of life, unfortunately, is that people who like to and, and just get it ready. People who like to create crises. Because Rahm Emanuel gave away, he publicly stated the Alinsky theorem. You got it handy, Bobby. Go ahead and run it for the people. What's the Alinsky theorem. You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. What Rahm Emanuel didn't say in that instance is that the Alinsky theorem is you create the crisis. So I'm explaining this in this way so everybody in this audience can understand everything that had just happened in the powder keg that is Minnesota, in Minneapolis and St. Paul in particular, was a manufactured powder keg, because none of that had to happen if they would have done initially what they are doing now. Here's the other thing the Trump administration has said the moment you Jacob Fry and he tried to say I have no control of what happens in the jail. That's a lie, guys. That's a flat lie. The mayor in every town and city in America is head of the local police agent, police office, not the county sheriffs, but the city police. The mayor is over that. The mayor. All right, and how do we know that just this last night, law enforcement, all of a sudden, local law enforcement that is not federal agents because federal immigration officers are not trained to do local policing. They're not trained to do crowd control. They're not trained to respond to protesters. They are Immigrations and customs Enforcement. But you have this manufactured chaos. Now, I'm going to show you a little bit on the other side because this is a little bit of inside pool that people don't like to talk about. But I'm going to tell you about it because you need to be aware of it. This approach with cooperation with local municipalities is the approach that Tom Holman used under Barack Obama. I told you that before. Well, because of the popularity with the American public in terms of a policy issue. Kristi Noem, unfortunately, and Greg Bevino wanted to make spectacles. So they tried to maneuver to kind of sidestep Tom Holman, which is why when the funk hits the fan, what does President, President Trump do? Tom Holman, please go to Minneapolis. Because you have people on the right trying to capitalize on issues they view as the so called 80, 20 issues to boost their own popularity instead of why can't we just have people that do the work? You see Tom Holman, and I'm not trying he's a saint trying to say he's a saint, trying to say I agree with everything he's ever said in life. But you think Tom Holman is trying to jockey for position to get a future pundit position on one of the major networks, try to be tapped to be an ambassador to so and such and such for so and so next presidential candidate. That's not what he's doing. He believes in the work. He believes in protecting American borders and just wants to get that done. What's the most effective way to get it done? With the least amount of drama as possible. That's how the least amount of drama is possible. Let's just get it done. Let's keep the temperature down. Let's try to keep the American public safe. Let's try to even keep the illegal immigrants safe. We ain't trying to. We don't want nobody to die in these processes. But the United States of America can't be the world's charity blanket. We can't absorb all of the world's charity cases. Our hearts break. My heart breaks if I'm in a country that's overrun by drug dealing cartel members. Yes, I want to try to get away to a safer place so I can raise my children in a more safe place. But these people, because of the difficult circumstances, don't have a right to violate our laws. So what is being presented as if, well, this person blinked and this person did this is not a blinking of anything.
The only way to prevent these things from being repeated is people are exposed
It's people having a tragedy and the loss of life as a background to finally get them to say, man, we should probably do what we should have been doing in the first place. And that's sad. That's what's going on. And so the only way to prevent these things from being repeated is people are exposed and held accountable. And we say very plainly, look, Jacob Fry and, and Tim Walsh, y' all ain't getting off nothing. Y' all tried to obfuscate and distract and turn away. They still got, a few billions that came up missing from this area. We got to find out what's going on with it. But that's how the faux tests work. You have manufactured crises where the Alinsky theorem is employed, because crises becomes the environment where people seed liberty.
