“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD And whose trust is the LORD.” Jeremiah 17:7 (NASB95).
My name is Abraham Hamilton, III and this is The Hamilton Minute.
Jeremiah prophesies in chapter 17 of the book bearing his name that the blessed man’s trust is the LORD. He goes on to say that the blessed man is like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots to the stream.
The blessed man will not fear when heat comes, nor will he be anxious during a drought season because his leaves will be green. He will not cease to produce fruit.
This is the heritage for us, who place our confidence squarely in our LORD. He moves us to abound, including during trying times.
