If the U.S. is going to thrive as a strong nation, we must have strong marriages and families. However, America’s retreat from marriage means that a growing number of young men are not married. Over the past 25 years, the gap between the number of unmarried and married men ages 20-39 has widened from 2.6 million to an astounding 15 million.
Today, unmarried young men in this age range outnumber married men nearly 2:1.
Marriage is the foundational building block for a thriving society. These numbers are alarming.
