Louisiana passed a law in 2014 that required doctors who perform baby murder procedures to have admitting privileges to a nearby hospital.

That law, which is viewed as a baby murder restriction, was set to go into effect  but has been held up in court.

Chief Justice John Roberts joined the regressive block of justices on the Supreme Court in a 5-4 ruling to prevent the law from taking effect prior to it being reviewed on the merits.

A full review of the law will likely occur during the Supreme Court’s October 2019 term.
