According to a recent study published by the Christian Post, 76.3% of all abortions are obtained by “God-fearing” women—with 68.7% who identify themselves as Christian women; and 18% of all abortions obtained by self described “born-again” or “evangelical” women.

A corresponding Care Net study found that many women with unplanned pregnancies go silently from the church pew to the abortion clinic, convinced the church would gossip rather than help.

America’s greatest need is repentance.  When the hearts of the American people turn to God, everything else will be impacted.

“A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and want like an armed man.”  Proverbs 6:10-11 (ESV).

Economist Douglas Holtz-Eakin, former director of the Congressional Budget Office from 2003-2005, calculated how much “The Green New Deal” would cost the American People.

He projects it could cost $93 trillion dollars over a 10 years.  That is $650,000/ per U.S. household.

To contextualize the scope of that number, the total GDP for the entire world in 2018 was $84 trillion.

This Green Dream is more expensive than the value of the entire world’s goods and services.

Let that sink in.

Venezuelan socialist strongman Nicolas Maduro has recently unleashed his military to shoot aid workers and has burned food trucks seeking to feed the starving and desperate Venezuelan people.

He is a brutal dictator, yet Bernie Sanders, who’s running for president again by the way, refused to identify as such.

Bernie acknowledge Maduro’s recent election wasn’t democratic but he refused to say Maduro was a dictator.

Why?  Because Bernie knows the collapse of the formerly oil-rich nation is striking example of national socialism. By condemning Maduro, Bernie implicates himself.  If Venezuela is socialist why would America want it?

A Franklin Pierce University athlete is cleaning up in women’s track, breaking numerous records.

That athlete goes by the name “CeCe” Telfer.

Last year, CeCe went by his birth name, Craig, and was a top athlete in the men’s division because Telfer is biologically a man!

Telfer has the fastest time of the year for women in the 200m dash and is one of the fastest runners in NCAA women’s track in any division, though Franklin Pierce is a Division II school.

Another example of regressive willingness to trample women in pursuit of gold medals in the intersectionality games.

Brazil’s newly elected president, Jair Bolsonaro, has committed himself to obliterating regressivism in his country.

President Bolsonaro has focused his latest efforts in this ideological battle on ridding Brazil’s classrooms and universities of Marxism, feminism and sexual deviancy indoctrination.

On the eve of his inauguration, Bolsonaro tweeted, “One of the goals to get Brazil out of the worst positions in international education rankings is to combat the Marxist rubbish that has spread in the educational institutions.”

The Brazilian people elected him to the do this job.  And he’s making good on his promises.

After a long fight the United Methodist denomination delegates to a special general conference session voted 438-384 to adhere to the scriptures' teaching concerning human sexuality.

This commitment to Biblical orthodoxy is largely attributable to the African delegates to the conference like Dr. Jerry P. Kulah, a theologian from Liberia, Africa.

Curiously, an angered LGBT advocacy group that has fought to move the denomination toward sexual regressivism said the vote advanced a white nationalist strain of Christianity.

May the United Methodists remain faithful to the God of the Bible.

The Vermont House passed H57, a staggering bill that would allow abortion at any stage of pregnancy and for any reason whatsoever.

It passed 106-36 and heads to the Senate.

H57 is far more radical than New York’s late term abortion law.  The NY law uses so-called “health” exceptions to allow late term baby murder.

Vermont’s H57 comes right out and directly says “every individual who become pregnant has the fundamental right… to have an abortion” at any time for any reason.

They didn’t even try to hide it.  The mask is off.

Journalist Meghan Murphy filed lawsuit against Twitter after she was permanently banned from the platform over tweets opining that “women aren’t men.”

Murphy, self-described feminist, tweeted “Women aren’t men.  How are trans-women not men? What is the difference between a man and a trans-woman”

She was put in Twitter jail only temporarily at first.

Once released Murphy tweeted, “I’m not allowed to say that men aren’t women or ask questions about the notion of transgenderism at all anymore?”

Twitter finally kicked Murphy off permanently.

Social media has become the modern public square.  But some facts are not welcomed.

“Honor your father and mother" this is the first commandment with a promise.”  Ephesians 6:2 (ESV).

The French national assembly has voted to amend its education law to replace the terms “father” and “mother” on school forms with “parent 1” and “parent 2.”

Law makers argue this move gives fair recognition to families with same-sex parents and tackles discrimination.

Assembly member Jennifer De Temmerman said, the current “social and family models are a little outdated.  No one should feel excluded from this society by backward thinking.”

God says honor your father and mother. French lawmakers call it backward thinking.

The ultimate question is which way is forward?

The Supreme Court will hear oral arguments today over a cross-shaped memorial in Maryland.

In 1925, The American Legion dedicated the Bladensburg World War I Veterans Memorial because mothers who lost their sons in from Prince George’s County, Maryland decided to erect this memorial to mimic the gravestones of their son’s burial sites in Europe.

Because of its cross shape, The American Humanist Association sued, saying it violated the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.

This case give the court, an opportunity to correct the course of Establishment Clause jurisprudence and deliver a resounding victory for religious liberty in America.

Empire Star Jussie Smollett was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct in falsifying a police report.

This followed his initial report that he was a the victim of a horrific attack where the assailants yelled “this is MAGA country.”

Police have learned that Smollett orchestrated the attack with two men he knew personally and whom he paid with a check.

Unsurprisingly, the media ran with the initial report seemingly because it painted Trump supporters in a negative light.

The Trump presidency has revealed for all the nation to see that journalistic standards are a thing of the past.

“Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.”  2 Timothy 3:12 (ESV).

Senator Corey Booker asked D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals nominee Neomi Rao whether she believed homosexual relationships were sinful.

This followed his questioning of now Secretary of State Mike Pompeo where Booker asked if Pompeo believed homosexuality was a perversion.

Before that, Senator Bernie Sanders objected to Russell Vought’s nomination to the Office of Management and Budget because Vought believed Jesus Christ was the only way to eternal life.

Though the Constitution prohibits the application of a religious test, this represents a growing view that Christianity disqualifies one for government service.  Take note.

Empire actor Jussie Smollett claimed he was viciously attacked in Chicago by Trump supporters.

Now, sources say Smollett staged the attack himself.

Chicago police raided the home of two “persons of interest” who turn out be actors who have worked with Smollett in the past as extras on the Empire show.

The police search produced a black face mask, an “Empire script, a phone, receipts, a red hat and bleach.

The Chicago Police Department has said if Smollett made a false report he will be prosecuted for that crime.

“You who judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself.”  Romans 2:3a (ESV).

Over two years after the fact, newly released FBI emails obtained by Judicial Watch via a Freedom of Information Act request, confirm that James Comey’s FBI attempted to work out a quid pro quo deal with Obama State Department to help minimize the Hillary Clinton private email server scandal just weeks before the 2016 election.

FBI Agent Lisa Page offered to provide cover for Hillary concerning a classified email if the State Department helped the FBI send agents to a country they previously had difficulty gaining access to.

But Comey aid said there was nothing to see here.

President Trump has announced his intention to invoke the power allocated to him by Congress pursuant to the National Emergencies Act of 1976 to declare a National Emergency on our southern border and reallocate appropriated money to erect a southern border wall.

According to the Federal Register, 58 national emergencies have been declared sine the statute was passed in 1976 focusing on everything from swine flu to rough diamonds.

In his announcement, President Trump explained Congress’ refusal to fund the border wall forced him to do whatever he can legally to protect the American people and keep his campaign promise.

“The iniquities of the wicked ensnare him, and he is held fast in the cords of his sin.”  Matthew 19:14 (ESV).

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, has decided the Senate will vote on the apocalyptic socialist “Green New Deal.”

This is a brilliant move because it forces Democrat legislators to go on record concerning the proposal to eliminate air travel, retrofit or destroy every building in America, eviscerate the fossil fuel industry, and cure that pesky cow flatulence problem in 10 years.

By now, it’s obvious how insane the proposal is but vote against it, and you risk alienating the most energized component of the Democrat base, the radical regressive.

The turtle is shrewd.

New Jersey has become the second state in the nation after California to adopt a law that requires schools to teach about LGBTQ history.  The move was hailed by various regressive groups as a step toward inclusion and fairness.

Historical characters will be taught to New Jersey children not because of their great accomplishments, or because of their contributions to society, but for their sexual preferences.

And the political correctness that plagues modern America hails this as progress.

Folks, this is a great example why I refer to these people as regressives.  Elevating sexual decisions to the ranks of historically noteworthy doesn’t move a country forward.

A popular effort in social revisionism is happening where “racism,” which is better described in Biblical terms as skin-color-based partiality, is a crime of which only people with lighter skin color can be guilty.

Let’s be clear, factions, divisions, and dissensions, including those based on skin color, are the fruit of the sinful flesh.

The root cause of partiality is sin.

Every person, regardless of the quantity of melanin in their skin, is capable of partiality.

The only remedy for sin is the blood of Jesus Christ.

“Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb.”  Isaiah 49:15 (ESV).

Louisiana passed a law in 2014 that required doctors who perform baby murder procedures to have admitting privileges to a nearby hospital.

That law, which is viewed as a baby murder restriction, was set to go into effect  but has been held up in court.

Chief Justice John Roberts joined the regressive block of justices on the Supreme Court in a 5-4 ruling to prevent the law from taking effect prior to it being reviewed on the merits.

A full review of the law will likely occur during the Supreme Court’s October 2019 term.
