This is a real story, people out of the, NewSong York Post. Advancements in AI may soon allow humans to talk with animals. it says machine learning models are paving the way to catalog and even mimic the sounds animals make to communicate with each other. With researchers touting the technology as a way to better understand the world of animals. So, AI may allow you to communicate with your animals, you know, that your pets, whatever, in a healthier way.
Ed Vitagliano You know, it makes sense that AI would be able to, figure out what, for example, a dog, what the barks sound like when they're afraid or when they're playing or those kind of things. And then the AI the app would catalog that, and tie it to your language. So that when it says, I want to treat, I want to treat. You know, Bart that gives that bark, then the words would come out, I want to treat, I want to treat. And then I suppose from what you're saying this. I read this when you set it out this morning, but it was early, and so I wasn't paying as much attention. I guess it would work in reverse. And I started to say this before the break, that my wife and daughter got a, new puppy. And now the Puppy is about 6 months old and the dog is an idiot. Okay. And I would like, I would like
Wesley Wildmon to tell him that.
Ed Vitagliano I would like to be able to. Yes, I would like to be able to tell him that and tell him what I expect him to do. In other words, stop jumping on me. Okay.

Steve Jordahl My, dog has exactly vocabulary of two phrases. Feed me and pet me. That's the only thing my dog says.

Ed Vitagliano The dog, the dog could speak. Now, as you might expect, people on the left are complaining about this potential technology as an invasion of privacy for animals.
Steve Jordahl Yeah, my dog doesn't have privacy. My dog.
Ed Vitagliano We're not, we're not making that up.
Steve Jordahl No, we're not. But, you know, have you ever seen a dog, do its business? It doesn't care. There's no privacy. It doesn't have any kind of privacy requirements.
Ed Vitagliano I wasn't thinking about that.

Tim Wildmon It's a real thing aisle. Talking about this becoming a real thing. Yeah, you know, some dogs, and I don't know about cat. Can't speak for cats. I can speak for dogs, though. Some dogs. Some dog, our dog is a Maltese, but it, and it's not a breed that's unusually intelligent, like any. More than any other breed there. But, it can, this, my dog can understand, like probably five or six. I wouldn't call them commands, but they're like things I say that the dog understands that I'm saying, which are just English words, but it know, it knows what to do. And I'm not talking about, you know, I can't do, you know, can't do algebra. Can't do algebra, but neither can I. So you know what I'm saying.
Ed Vitagliano And dogs can read your facial expressions. Yeah, the dogs we have. We've had one dog for four or five years and she, she knows when, when I look at her and I can raise my eyebrows, she knows I will take her out.
Tim Wildmon Yeah. Ah, that's very much real.

Libby Kleiner says she will get combat related pay after husband's death
All right. You're listening to today's issues on American Family Radio. Go ahead, Steve.
Steve Jordahl I just want to clear up or, finish a story that you guys talked about, at the first hour, which Libby Kleiner not getting the benefits that she was due. Yes, this has come out. this is a statement from Libby Kleiner. Our family was initially told that certain combat related benefits were not available because of classification issues surrounding the circumstances of Alex's death. That was the information shared publicly at the time. As the story spread, however, it created the impression that our family's military benefits had been broadly denied or withheld, which was not the case. The Department of Defense has since completed its review and confirmed our benefits. I'm grateful to everyone who helped bring clarity and resolution to this deeply personal matter. According to the ap, Libby Kleiner said the Air Force officials contacted her this week to say they were installing, initiating a review of her husband's pay. The Air Force acknowledged to her Thursday that it had initially provided inaccurate information and clarified that she was receiving the full pay benefits that her husband was owed. She said she was told her husband's paycheck had already included, but incorrectly itemized the combat related hazard pay and tax breaks.
Tim Wildmon All right, well, good news.
Ed Vitagliano Yeah, that's good news. Yep. Problem solved.

Tim Wildmon So her husband was killed in action in, the Iranian conflict. I'm not sure exactly.

Tim Wildmon Okay, so. But she was, she was basically saying that she wasn't going to be compensated. Compensate is not the right word, but,
Ed Vitagliano there is combat related hazard pay.
Steve Jordahl Yes.
Tim Wildmon And she wasn't going to get that, what she said because she had been told by the Pentagon that it wasn't a real war, it was an official war, so that she didn't qualify despite the fact she lost her husband. But the Pentagon has come back and said today that was misinformation, and that she will get the full benefits that she deserves. True.
Steve Jordahl Correct.
Tim Wildmon That is a good news.
Steve Jordahl She already has gotten it. It just was, not explained correctly to her.
Tim Wildmon Okay. All right, you're listening. That's good news. Good news. What's next, Steve?
Judge declares mistrial in Lindsay Clancy murder trial after jury could not reach consensus
Steve Jordahl Well, the Lindsay Clancy, case. Trial. Lindsay Clancy, the woman who is, has admitted to murdering her three young children by strangling them. Went to trial. And, the trial was a long trial. The jury deliberated for days and could not reach a consensus. And so the judge has declared a mistrial. A hung jury. It was reported that one man, and we're not supposed to know this, but the guy was the defense attorney kind of outed, didn't name the guy. There were three men on the jury. One of those men refused to give, in. And. Because the word is that the jury was going to return a not guilty verdict, as in get her off completely. but this one person, this one guy, decided, to stick to his guns and wasn't going to yield. So it was not a unanimous verdict. So, the judge, after sending them back multiple times, has declared a mistrial. Now, on 29th September, the parties will go back to court and the, state is going to have to decide if it's going to. The district attorney will have to decide whether they're going to seek a new trial or not. They don't have to. But, so if they don't seek
Ed Vitagliano a new trial, then it's over.
Steve Jordahl It's over.
Ed Vitagliano She gets away with it.
Wesley Wildmon She's.
Steve Jordahl She's. Yep. She's done. I mean, she's free.
Ed Vitagliano That would be. That would be just. Oh, that would be all.
Wesley Wildmon That doesn't seem. That doesn't seem right. Because then what would be the point? So what if. If they, if the one guy did vote in favor and it was unanimous and she gets off. And if he votes against it, she gets off. I don't understand.
Steve Jordahl He votes against it.
Ed Vitagliano Well, the. My understanding of this, correct me if I'm wrong, Steve, is that the majority, everyone, except for this one guy, wanted to say that Clancy Was not guilty because she, was not, in control. He was saying she is guilty.
Wesley Wildmon Right.
Ed Vitagliano I'm not letting her get away with it. So it's a mistrial because you. It has to be unanimous. And so now the, prosecutors have to decide whether to go through all the effort of another trial. If they don't, then she is no longer charged. So that would be different than. I'm not sure what you're saying. That would be different than going through a trial and being declared not guilty but sent to a mental hospital for treatment.
Tim Wildmon I don't understand how you can confess to killing them and then be eating at Denny's next week.
Wesley Wildmon That's the part that's where you lose me. I can't own.
Steve Jordahl A lot of people would agree with you, but that's the legal system. If you are tried and you are, and the state decides now, we don't know. The state likely will. She might have to go.
Tim Wildmon She wouldn't have to go to a psych ward for.
Ed Vitagliano If they decide not to prosecute her.
Steve Jordahl If they decide not to prosecute her, she's.
Tim Wildmon They won't do that.
Steve Jordahl they have that option. They have until the 29th of December to decide whether or not. Or to announce whether or not they're going to seek a new trial.
Wesley Wildmon Okay, I'll stop on this one. I still don't understand though, how it is mistrial. Not mistrial, psych ward, prison. All that aside, if a person goes. That was me. I was there. I killed them. I don't understand how there's no consequence from that, regardless of whether.
Tim Wildmon Yeah, I don't think we have the answer to that except what Steve said. Steve, will you look into this more after, the show? Okay, but, but you, you, you think you read enough to. Confident that she walks?
Steve Jordahl That's correct.
Tim Wildmon And she's free to do. To go about her life because she
Steve Jordahl has been tried and the, the jury, was hung and the.
Tim Wildmon But they're going to have another state dropped trial.
Steve Jordahl Well, if the state decides to pursue it.
Tim Wildmon And they haven't committed to that yet.

Corey Walsh is charged with murder in the death of her son Barrett
All right, now, unfortunately, you. We talked about the. For lack of a better word fan club that surrounded Lindsey Clancy. And I got to tell you, this is just horrendous. I, hate to tell you this, but, there is a, there was a copycat, issue that happened in Frankfort, Illinois. And I want to listen to
Speaker E cut nine new details in the murder of a two year old boy. In southwest suburban Frankfurt. The toddler's mother, Corrie Walsh, is now charged with murder, and prosecutors say she was in a group text talking about the Lindsey Clancy murder case just hours before killing her son. Police were called to Walsh's home on Tuesday by a neighbor who discovered the lifeless body of Barrett Walsh in the basement. That neighbor performed CPR but was unsuccessful. The neighbor also told police she found Corrie Walsh in the bathroom harming herself. Prosecutors say that Walsh said that she killed her son because he was the devil and Antichrist. Another infant child was inside that home at the time but wasn't hurt. We know two other children came home from school around the time that police arrived. We're told the father was out of state. The mother's now being held at the Will County Jail and will be in court.
Steve Jordahl So it's a terrible story. but you kind of got to wonder with, all of the attention and the way that she was being made out to be a victim and a hero. That was kind of, you know, a lot of women came, to her defense. Defense.
Ed Vitagliano So this additional case in Illinois, was it, yes. This. This was also the mother of a newborn.
Steve Jordahl Well, a two year old.
Ed Vitagliano Well, the two year old was killed. Yes, it said something about. Was it a newborn house?
Steve Jordahl There was another trial. Another. Yeah, there was an. I'm sorry, I'm dealing with some computer issues here, but, she, fatally strangled her son. the. She.
Ed Vitagliano Okay. I was wondering if she was also a new mother. That's part of the point of the Lindsay Clancy thing. Was this postpartum psychosis?
Steve Jordahl Yeah, I don't.
Ed Vitagliano I guess what I'm asking is, I don't think. Is this a similar case of a mom just after giving birth having this issue? anyway, that's. Yeah, that was my question.
Steve Jordahl No, I don't believe that she. That I think there were other kids who were unharmed, but none of them were newborns that I'm aware of. Sorry, I don't. I don't have the answer to that.

Southeastern Conference files lawsuit seeking to expel LSU from conference

And I know this is from the world of sports, and a lot of people don't care about the world of sports, but, it is big news. The. And, I'm not kidding. This is not Babylon B. The, Sec. The Southeastern Conference, you familiar with that?
Ed Vitagliano Yeah.
Tim Wildmon Has filed an amendment to its federal lawsuit against lsu. Laine Kiffin, the head coach of LSU football and school officials on Tuesday, which seeks the authority for the SEC to expel LSU from the conference.
Ed Vitagliano What is lsu?
Tim Wildmon Okay, can I tell you what's going on here? Quickly. And we won't. We won't dwell on this, because I know it's. It's. It's, You know, it's not life or death. Well, unless you're an LSU fan. But lsu, their, head coach there, Laine Kippen, who moved from Ole Miss down there, you know, all that controversy he wanted to sign, two guys who had played, who had signed contracts with pro teams, went through.
Wesley Wildmon Went through training, the summer camps, and
Tim Wildmon they said, no, we want to go back to college. Well, amateur, sports in America, collegiate sports, it's not so much amateur anymore because the guys get paid a lot of money. But they've always had a rule against, once, you sign a professional contract, you're ineligible to participate at the college level any longer. That's. Everybody knows that in every sport. It's not even been questioned. Well, Dan Kiffin and LSU decided, no, we want to. We want to change that. We want to allow these guys to come back to LSU and play, even though they signed pro deals now, I think they got cut from their pro teams or either they didn't make it. So then they said, well, we want to go back and play college ball. Anyway, the SEC said, no, you can't do this, lsu. And. And, So LSU lost at the. At the appeal. No, they won that. The appeal. The other day. The two guys were said. The court said, well, we're going to say they can play for now. LSU didn't play them in the game against Clemson on Saturday night. But the reason this is big news is, the SEC's gone full. They've gone nuclear on LSU. They basically laid down the. What am I. Oh, the hammer.
Ed Vitagliano Laid down the gauntlet.
Tim Wildmon They laid down a gauntlet and a hammer and a chisel. They laid down, by the Riverside.
Ed Vitagliano They're trying to, find out whether they can kick LSU out of the sec. They haven't done it yet. Right.
Tim Wildmon Well, m. I'll bet you LSU backs off this. I don't want to be kicked out of the sec.
Ed Vitagliano Right.
Tim Wildmon Or the SEC saying, we're serious about this. But, this. Laine Kippen, the coach for. For lsu, this only sort of increases his. His villain status. You know what I'm saying, yeah, it's, but, but anyway, we'll see what happens there. But I just, I thought that was, well, pretty stunning that the SEC would say, we're, oh, yeah, we'll kick you out.
Wesley Wildmon And I think that, I think they, at least I think they mean it because they've been, they've been called off sec, all the conferences, ncaa, they've been caught off unprepared for the nil and the portal, and they had all the problems that have come with it and they're just now trying to fix it or clean it up. I think they see this up front and go, hey, we can't wait three years on this one, four years to do something.
Tim Wildmon So if they allow this to go on, then, I'm considering going back to college. I mean, I know I've got a few years of eligibility, but I got some eligibility left. That one burned up. Yes, you do. So I'm gonna. Anyway, it would be a long road back. I understand that.
Wesley Wildmon But think about all the NFL players that left their junior year or their redshirt sophomore year. They have two. One or two years left. Yeah.
Ed Vitagliano Tim, you really think it'd be a long way back? A long road back. How old are you now?
Tim Wildmon Well, I'm 63, but I don't know if I'm willing to commit to that or not at this point.
Steve Jordahl Can I, I'm reading a different Laine Kiffin story that kind of sheds a little light on his. Okay, go ahead, Steve. So apparently over the weekend, the lsu, they played Clemson.
Tim Wildmon They didn't play Clemson. They destroyed Clemson.
Steve Jordahl Right. There was a 90 minute weather break, lightning in the area, and the, NCAA offered to shorten that 90 minute delay. But Laine Kiffin. I read and I'm reading, said he wanted to keep the team in the locker room because he wanted Clemson to be stuck in their locker room, which is apparently not a very nice place
Tim Wildmon to be admitted to that. Yeah. Do you know what we're talking about here?

Western Michigan's game against Clemson was delayed because of lightning
Ed Vitagliano Yeah.
Tim Wildmon Saturday night in Baton Rouge and you got, lightning in the area and the game's delayed and the, the, whoever makes a ruling said, okay, we got a 90 minute delay because of lightning. And then they come back and they say to Kiffin, thank you for the head coach bill issue. Hey, we can cut this short. We can play. We can. We don't need 90 minutes. We can come back, you guys can play in 45 minutes or whatever, something like that. To which he Said, no, we're going to stay with the hour and a half because he said that the visiting locker room, he said, is terrible.
Ed Vitagliano So you wanted to keep Clemson locked in there?
Tim Wildmon He wanted to keep, Clemson locked in there as long as he could before they played the game. He said, I don't care if we play at midnight.
Steve Jordahl Ah.
Tim Wildmon So he said. He said that, the advantage would be. He said, whatever advantage I can use to win the game, I will use. But that is what happened.

Some dog, our dog is a Maltese, but it, and it's not a breed that's unusually intelligent, like any. More than any other breed there. But, it can, this, my dog can understand, like probably five or six. I wouldn't call them commands, but they're like things I say that the dog understands that I'm saying, which are just English words, but it know, it knows what to do. And I'm not talking about, you know, I can't do, you know, can't do algebra. Can't do algebra, but neither can I. So you know what I'm saying.
Ed Vitagliano And dogs can read your facial expressions. Yeah, the dogs we have. We've had one dog for four or five years and she, she knows when, when I look at her and I can raise my eyebrows, she knows I will take her out.

Libby Kleiner says she will get combat related pay after husband's death

Steve Jordahl I just want to clear up or, finish a story that you guys talked about, at the first hour, which Libby Kleiner not getting the benefits that she was due. Yes, this has come out. this is a statement from Libby Kleiner. Our family was initially told that certain combat related benefits were not available because of classification issues surrounding the circumstances of Alex's death. That was the information shared publicly at the time. As the story spread, however, it created the impression that our family's military benefits had been broadly denied or withheld, which was not the case. The Department of Defense has since completed its review and confirmed our benefits. I'm grateful to everyone who helped bring clarity and resolution to this deeply personal matter. According to the ap, Libby Kleiner said the Air Force officials contacted her this week to say they were installing, initiating a review of her husband's pay. The Air Force acknowledged to her Thursday that it had initially provided inaccurate information and clarified that she was receiving the full pay benefits that her husband was owed. She said she was told her husband's paycheck had already included, but incorrectly itemized the combat related hazard pay and tax breaks.
Tim Wildmon All right, well, good news.

Tim Wildmon And she wasn't going to get that, what she said because she had been told by the Pentagon that it wasn't a real war, it was an official war, so that she didn't qualify despite the fact she lost her husband. But the Pentagon has come back and said today that was misinformation, and that she will get the full benefits that she deserves. True.

Steve Jordahl She already has gotten it. It just was, not explained correctly to her.

Judge declares mistrial in Lindsay Clancy murder trial after jury could not reach consensus
Steve Jordahl Well, the Lindsay Clancy, case. Trial. Lindsay Clancy, the woman who is, has admitted to murdering her three young children by strangling them. Went to trial. And, the trial was a long trial. The jury deliberated for days and could not reach a consensus. And so the judge has declared a mistrial. A hung jury. It was reported that one man, and we're not supposed to know this, but the guy was the defense attorney kind of outed, didn't name the guy. There were three men on the jury. One of those men refused to give, in. And. Because the word is that the jury was going to return a not guilty verdict, as in get her off completely. but this one person, this one guy, decided, to stick to his guns and wasn't going to yield. So it was not a unanimous verdict. So, the judge, after sending them back multiple times, has declared a mistrial. Now, on 29th September, the parties will go back to court and the, state is going to have to decide if it's going to. The district attorney will have to decide whether they're going to seek a new trial or not. They don't have to. But, so if they don't seek
Ed Vitagliano a new trial, then it's over.
Steve Jordahl It's over.
Ed Vitagliano She gets away with it.
Wesley Wildmon She's.
Steve Jordahl She's. Yep. She's done. I mean, she's free.
Ed Vitagliano That would be. That would be just. Oh, that would be all.
Wesley Wildmon That doesn't seem. That doesn't seem right. Because then what would be the point? So what if. If they, if the one guy did vote in favor and it was unanimous and she gets off. And if he votes against it, she gets off. I don't understand.
Steve Jordahl He votes against it.
Ed Vitagliano Well, the. My understanding of this, correct me if I'm wrong, Steve, is that the majority, everyone, except for this one guy, wanted to say that Clancy Was not guilty because she, was not, in control. He was saying she is guilty.
Wesley Wildmon Right.
Ed Vitagliano I'm not letting her get away with it. So it's a mistrial because you. It has to be unanimous. And so now the, prosecutors have to decide whether to go through all the effort of another trial. If they don't, then she is no longer charged. So that would be different than. I'm not sure what you're saying. That would be different than going through a trial and being declared not guilty but sent to a mental hospital for treatment.
Tim Wildmon I don't understand how you can confess to killing them and then be eating at Denny's next week.
Wesley Wildmon That's the part that's where you lose me. I can't own.
Steve Jordahl A lot of people would agree with you, but that's the legal system. If you are tried and you are, and the state decides now, we don't know. The state likely will. She might have to go.
Tim Wildmon She wouldn't have to go to a psych ward for.
Ed Vitagliano If they decide not to prosecute her.
Steve Jordahl If they decide not to prosecute her, she's.
Tim Wildmon They won't do that.
Steve Jordahl they have that option. They have until the 29th of December to decide whether or not. Or to announce whether or not they're going to seek a new trial.
Wesley Wildmon Okay, I'll stop on this one. I still don't understand though, how it is mistrial. Not mistrial, psych ward, prison. All that aside, if a person goes. That was me. I was there. I killed them. I don't understand how there's no consequence from that, regardless of whether.
Tim Wildmon Yeah, I don't think we have the answer to that except what Steve said. Steve, will you look into this more after, the show? Okay, but, but you, you, you think you read enough to. Confident that she walks?

Corey Walsh is charged with murder in the death of her son Barrett
All right, now, unfortunately, you. We talked about the. For lack of a better word fan club that surrounded Lindsey Clancy. And I got to tell you, this is just horrendous. I, hate to tell you this, but, there is a, there was a copycat, issue that happened in Frankfort, Illinois. And I want to listen to
Speaker E cut nine new details in the murder of a two year old boy. In southwest suburban Frankfurt. The toddler's mother, Corrie Walsh, is now charged with murder, and prosecutors say she was in a group text talking about the Lindsey Clancy murder case just hours before killing her son. Police were called to Walsh's home on Tuesday by a neighbor who discovered the lifeless body of Barrett Walsh in the basement. That neighbor performed CPR but was unsuccessful. The neighbor also told police she found Corrie Walsh in the bathroom harming herself. Prosecutors say that Walsh said that she killed her son because he was the devil and Antichrist. Another infant child was inside that home at the time but wasn't hurt. We know two other children came home from school around the time that police arrived. We're told the father was out of state. The mother's now being held at the Will County Jail and will be in court.
Steve Jordahl So it's a terrible story. but you kind of got to wonder with, all of the attention and the way that she was being made out to be a victim and a hero. That was kind of, you know, a lot of women came, to her defense. Defense.
Ed Vitagliano So this additional case in Illinois, was it, yes. This. This was also the mother of a newborn.
Steve Jordahl Well, a two year old.
Ed Vitagliano Well, the two year old was killed. Yes, it said something about. Was it a newborn house?
Steve Jordahl There was another trial. Another. Yeah, there was an. I'm sorry, I'm dealing with some computer issues here, but, she, fatally strangled her son. the. She.
Ed Vitagliano Okay. I was wondering if she was also a new mother. That's part of the point of the Lindsay Clancy thing. Was this postpartum psychosis?
Steve Jordahl Yeah, I don't.
Ed Vitagliano I guess what I'm asking is, I don't think. Is this a similar case of a mom just after giving birth having this issue? anyway, that's. Yeah, that was my question.
Steve Jordahl No, I don't believe that she. That I think there were other kids who were unharmed, but none of them were newborns that I'm aware of. Sorry, I don't. I don't have the answer to that.

Southeastern Conference files lawsuit seeking to expel LSU from conference

And I know this is from the world of sports, and a lot of people don't care about the world of sports, but, it is big news. The. And, I'm not kidding. This is not Babylon B. The, Sec. The Southeastern Conference, you familiar with that?

Tim Wildmon Has filed an amendment to its federal lawsuit against lsu. Laine Kiffin, the head coach of LSU football and school officials on Tuesday, which seeks the authority for the SEC to expel LSU from the conference.
Ed Vitagliano What is lsu?
Tim Wildmon Okay, can I tell you what's going on here? Quickly. And we won't. We won't dwell on this, because I know it's. It's. It's, You know, it's not life or death. Well, unless you're an LSU fan. But lsu, their, head coach there, Laine Kippen, who moved from Ole Miss down there, you know, all that controversy he wanted to sign, two guys who had played, who had signed contracts with pro teams, went through.
Wesley Wildmon Went through training, the summer camps, and
Tim Wildmon they said, no, we want to go back to college. Well, amateur, sports in America, collegiate sports, it's not so much amateur anymore because the guys get paid a lot of money. But they've always had a rule against, once, you sign a professional contract, you're ineligible to participate at the college level any longer. That's. Everybody knows that in every sport. It's not even been questioned. Well, Dan Kiffin and LSU decided, no, we want to. We want to change that. We want to allow these guys to come back to LSU and play, even though they signed pro deals now, I think they got cut from their pro teams or either they didn't make it. So then they said, well, we want to go back and play college ball. Anyway, the SEC said, no, you can't do this, lsu. And. And, So LSU lost at the. At the appeal. No, they won that. The appeal. The other day. The two guys were said. The court said, well, we're going to say they can play for now. LSU didn't play them in the game against Clemson on Saturday night. But the reason this is big news is, the SEC's gone full. They've gone nuclear on LSU. They basically laid down the. What am I. Oh, the hammer.
Ed Vitagliano Laid down the gauntlet.
Tim Wildmon They laid down a gauntlet and a hammer and a chisel. They laid down, by the Riverside.
Ed Vitagliano They're trying to, find out whether they can kick LSU out of the sec. They haven't done it yet. Right.
Tim Wildmon Well, m. I'll bet you LSU backs off this. I don't want to be kicked out of the sec.
Ed Vitagliano Right.
Tim Wildmon Or the SEC saying, we're serious about this. But, this. Laine Kippen, the coach for. For lsu, this only sort of increases his. His villain status. You know what I'm saying, yeah, it's, but, but anyway, we'll see what happens there. But I just, I thought that was, well, pretty stunning that the SEC would say, we're, oh, yeah, we'll kick you out.
Wesley Wildmon And I think that, I think they, at least I think they mean it because they've been, they've been called off sec, all the conferences, ncaa, they've been caught off unprepared for the nil and the portal, and they had all the problems that have come with it and they're just now trying to fix it or clean it up. I think they see this up front and go, hey, we can't wait three years on this one, four years to do something.
Tim Wildmon So if they allow this to go on, then, I'm considering going back to college. I mean, I know I've got a few years of eligibility, but I got some eligibility left. That one burned up. Yes, you do. So I'm gonna. Anyway, it would be a long road back. I understand that.
Wesley Wildmon But think about all the NFL players that left their junior year or their redshirt sophomore year. They have two. One or two years left. Yeah.
Ed Vitagliano Tim, you really think it'd be a long way back? A long road back. How old are you now?
Tim Wildmon Well, I'm 63, but I don't know if I'm willing to commit to that or not at this point.
Steve Jordahl Can I, I'm reading a different Laine Kiffin story that kind of sheds a little light on his. Okay, go ahead, Steve. So apparently over the weekend, the lsu, they played Clemson.
Tim Wildmon They didn't play Clemson. They destroyed Clemson.
Steve Jordahl Right. There was a 90 minute weather break, lightning in the area, and the, NCAA offered to shorten that 90 minute delay. But Laine Kiffin. I read and I'm reading, said he wanted to keep the team in the locker room because he wanted Clemson to be stuck in their locker room, which is apparently not a very nice place
Tim Wildmon to be admitted to that. Yeah. Do you know what we're talking about here?

Western Michigan's game against Clemson was delayed because of lightning
Ed Vitagliano Yeah.
Tim Wildmon Saturday night in Baton Rouge and you got, lightning in the area and the game's delayed and the, the, whoever makes a ruling said, okay, we got a 90 minute delay because of lightning. And then they come back and they say to Kiffin, thank you for the head coach bill issue. Hey, we can cut this short. We can play. We can. We don't need 90 minutes. We can come back, you guys can play in 45 minutes or whatever, something like that. To which he Said, no, we're going to stay with the hour and a half because he said that the visiting locker room, he said, is terrible.
Ed Vitagliano So you wanted to keep Clemson locked in there?
Tim Wildmon He wanted to keep, Clemson locked in there as long as he could before they played the game. He said, I don't care if we play at midnight.
Steve Jordahl Ah.
Tim Wildmon So he said. He said that, the advantage would be. He said, whatever advantage I can use to win the game, I will use. But that is what happened.
