Choose any two people, anywhere in the world and you will find that while their life experiences are similar, accomplishment is usually dependent on the attitude of the individual. Great opportunities come and go but it is how we meet them that changes the outcome.

Life is difficult at times. Those seeking an easier way are usually shocked to find that there is a greater cost for ease than we are apt to want to pay. Nothing is ever truly free.

Many make a career of doing nothing or almost nothing. But there’s one thing everyone can be thankful for, that our Creator is not in the nothing business. Get busy accomplishing the work you are given and if you don’t know what that is, find something!

Christ said that His followers are to be the light of the world, reflecting His Light. Darkness and light cannot share the same space for the light will disrupt and dispel darkness.

When one goes fishing, it’s important to know exactly what kind of “fish” it is on would like to catch. Knowing what you’re trying to attract impacts your success more often than not.

The way in which one approaches a problem will often determine how that problem is resolved. We can see the mountain and abandon any efforts or begin the climb with hope in the heart.

There are many rules that when ignored have harmless or even humorous consequences but in failing to follow others we find only our own folly.

Hiding from God, of all beings is futile. It’s a great injustice we do to ourselves because of fear and ignorance.

What will be said of America in a thousand years? The glory of Rome is no more because of self-indulgent and self-destruction behaviors. What shall become of the glory of the U.S.A.?

Common courtesy isn’t so common these days but then again, maybe it never has been. Just look at what was done to Christ.

We all have gifts that are different. Some sing, some play, some don’t. The gift you have is just as valuable as those others possess once you find what that gift is.

Is “love” really love when it come with conditions? Under what circumstances can we justify not loving others?

We all delay sometimes, putting off unpleasant tasks. Some instances of delay can be humorous. Other times, gravely serious; so serious in fact that it brings to bare eternal weight.

The roles of our church may be full but of what caliber are the members? Too many times it’s too easy to become a member and too hard to get out of the membership.

We will find what we diligently search for. Sometimes, however what we find is not what we hoped as we were searching.

Some mistakes are humorous, some are quite serious and costly. Sometimes our mistakes are uncorrectable because we always reap what has been sown.

Child-like faith is something we talk a lot about but often we struggle to know what it is and how to get it.

Turning over our problems to the Creator may seem counterintuitive but a peaceful life depends upon doing so. He alone is capable of solving them and He promises to do so.

Two young men in the field of art agreed to help one another achieve their goals. Each life story came to different ends but millions have been blessed by each on them.

Humanity is NOT basically good. We are, at our core, degenerate and corrupt without the regeneration of Christ.
