Kevin Freeman hosts Jaco Booyens for a powerful conversation on the spiritual and economic engines behind human trafficking—sex and money—and how policy, banking, and culture enable exploitation. Jaco shares frontline stories, the need for true repentance and justice, and the staggering numbers driving America’s demand. He announces that Mercy Culture DC will launch Pentecost 2026, a mission to bring holy reformation to the nation’s power center. This is a call to raise the standard in faith, finance, and freedom.
Kevin Freeman welcomes Jacob Buyins to Pirate Money Radio
Kevin Freeman: Hey, I'm so excited about the guest we have on Pirate Money Radio today. He's been a great friend. He's a thought leader. He's my Bible study teacher. He's perhaps the most respected voice in America on how to stop human trafficking. He's been in that fight for over 30 years. But the most important thing that I can say about Jacob Buyins is that he loves Jesus, he loves his family, he loves the church, and he loves America in that order. And he lives out his faith on a daily basis. And he has an exciting announcement we'll get to welcome, Yaqu to Pirate Money Radio.
Jaco Booyens: Kevan, thank you. So good to be with you.
Kevin Freeman: You know, we've had you on Economic Worm. I think this is our first time to have you on Pirate Money Radio.
Jaco Booyens: It is, it is, it's exciting. I'm sitting here listening to your voice through the headphones and you were built for this man. God made you for this.
Kevin Freeman: I pray that he has and that we fulfill his purpose here.
How did you come to know Jesus and what drives you in human trafficking
Hey, I want to start with this. I mean, you are a man who really, truly loves people, and I think that drives you. But I also believe it starts because Jesus loved you and you love him. How did you come to know our Savior?
Jaco Booyens: You've nailed it. I think I. It's a revelation that I, that I wish for everybody. The revelation of what he saved me from, but what he saved me unto. And I think in America. People are saved from a lot. But they don't realize that they're saved unto something. And it's the unto part that makes me love people so much because I see the potential in people and what could happen if they laid their lives down for a great work for God to do through them. And that's my passion. yes, I was saved. I was raised in a Christian home. You know, my background is Jewish. My grandmother on my dad's side, her last name was Breslau. Breslau was a little town in Poland and the whole town got decimated through. Hitler and his demonic devices. And she escaped as a 13 year old and Christian missionaries rescued her from the Netherlands and she ends up in South Africa and she accepts Christ in the process. So as a Jew, she's raised up Christian. We're raised up Christian. So I was always Christian. Loved, Jesus my whole life. Cannot remember a day I didn't, but didn't walk with him, didn't have A personal relationship with him. So, July 16, 2009, as a 33 year old at that time, I think, yeah, 33, I had a radical encounter 2:00 clock that morning, July 16, 2009. And people would call me preacher boy when I was 12 and 13. And we'd play, you know, high impact sport and I'd pray for the other team. So I'd love Jesus my whole life, but I did not have a revelation of who he really was and I did not have a personal encounter with him to radically transform my future, my unto right. And so that happened. July 16, 2009. It was a six hour wrestle with God where he purged me of all the things that I was holding on to. And then I heard God himself speak my purpose. Why? And I asked him, why did you create me? And he said, I want your marriage, I want your relationship with your father. I want, basically, I want your life. And finally, when I surrendered that to him, I kept pressing, why did you make me? Why am I here? Like, what is there for me to do? And then he spoke it, you know, and he said, I'll send you to the nations. I give you the keys of David. I'll open your mouth. Psalm 81:10 is your life verse. As you open your mouth, I'll fill it. Psalm 27:4. One thing you desire is to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of your life, to inquire in his temple. And that's my. Every morning I wake up is, I'm on a mission. I'm on a search and rescue mission for the lost and the broken. And then of course, you know, my sister's story. Lanka was trafficked for six years. And that was a big part of why I got to that July 16th moment, because we ran out of answers.
Kevin Freeman: Yeah, well, let's talk about that for a second. Because very few people I've met that fight in the human trafficking fight, start with the actual passion and love for people. They generally begin with a vengeance, and retribution. This is bad and it's evil, and we have to punish the evildoers. And what sets you apart? And I know others, but for me, when I met you, I was like, wait a minute. But this guy loves people and he's. You got a lot of special forces, you got a lot of wonderful guys that are out there and like, I'm going to punish the evil doers. But they start from that military mindset. You start with this. I've got to go find the lost sheep Mindset. And I think that really changes the dynamic and I think that's where you're so effective. Not just in actual behind the scenes stuff that you can't really talk about, but also in m communicating the message. And I think that is a real distinguishing factor.
Jaco Booyens: Kevan, you're so sharp in picking up on those cues. And that really is the heart of our organization because it started with one. It started with my sister, one child. And so really, if you want to encapsulate JVM and what we do and how we fight human trafficking, it's the moment of Jesus covering a naked prostitute.
Jaco Booyens: In the dirt. That is the essence of who we are. He started with that compassion, saying, I know, I know you've sold your body. I know, I know all these things, but I see something different now. Let me tell these Pharisees and Sadducees to say. And what Jesus was actually saying is you without sin, cast your first stone. It wasn't just any sin. He was speaking to those of you who have not been sexually immoral. Talking to the priest, yeah, throw your stone. And from the oldest to the youngest, they leave, right? And then he says, go, sin no more. And that's the heart. Because there is redemption. He's the redeemer. And so people ask me, yaku, can a pedophile can, a broken person. Nobody is outside of the grace and mercy of God if they choose it. And so that is our heart. It's how we.
JBN Ministries is pivoting to fight human trafficking
One at a time, one person at a time. And man, it's an adventure. And it is very different because you're right, most of it. And of course we are justice driven and we write policy and we want justice. I joke and say all the time, hey, the bad guy can meet Jesus, you just have to go meet him in prison. You just can't walk around free.
Kevin Freeman: I'm just picturing Rambo, filled with Mother Teresa. This is what we've got. Jbm, Jaco Booyens Ministries. And people find that. How do you find that?
Jaco Booyens: If you help jbm.org and when we changed the website, it used to be Jacob Boyens Ministries. And I said, now this is a collective fight. It's all of our fight. It's not us. Look what we are doing. We are shoulder to shoulder, the body of Christ. You're the eye, I'm the hands, he's the toe, he's the foot, he's the arm. So it's helpjbm.org easy to find. and you know, God moves my heart every five or so years. He just gives me this vision for what's coming in the fight. And we're in that moment now. We're pivoting. Hard pivot. and it normally takes other organizations 5 to 10 years to accept the pivot, but I'm telling you, we just will. January 1st, we'll release our new website. We're changing the way we speak. We're changing the color schemes. We are going into a season here of fighting human trafficking by bringing hope. Now.
Kevin Freeman: Ah, you mentioned color schemes. What I want to share. If you don't know Jacob, you've got to understand, he's an artist. In that filmmaker, true art matters to him and beauty matters to him. And it's wonderful. an athlete, an incredible athlete. but. But also that Mother Teresa heart inside of Rambo, ready to go and bring justice, but with that compassionate heart. Look, your fight isn't against flesh and blood, and you know it. And I think that's the revelation awakening. When you're fighting human trafficking, it's not fighting the scumbag. It is fighting those evil spirits. The principalities, powers and wickedness in the heavenly places.
Jaco Booyens: Yeah, we. I mean, there's countless times. I mean, Tammy on our team has witnessed this firsthand. We go in. It is Rambo moments where you go in and it's. I mean, the cartel shot at us in the Biden administration in Mexico. I mean, it's wild. But I will tell you, we sit with a guy, this one particular guy, just. Just call him Jonathan. It's not his name. And this guy is selling children. He is. He is the worst of the worst. And he's. He's a cartel member. And then in the moment of apprehending this guy, I know I'm talking to spirits. So you start addressing the spirits. You don't talk to the man, and you go, well, this guy, he's flesh and bones, is completely controlled by demonic forces.
Kevin Freeman: He's a victim, too.
Jaco Booyens: Powers and principalities. So I start addressing the spirits. I rebuke the spirits. And we're talking about in the moment of handcuffs, right?
Kevin Freeman: Wow. All right, we're talking spiritual warfare with Jacob Boens from JBN Ministries. We're going to cover this and more when we come back. And an exciting announcement that YAQOO has about the year 2026.
Jaco Booyens: Stay tuned.
Human trafficking really is a spiritual war
Welcome back to Pirate Money Radio with your host, Kevan Freeman.
Kevin Freeman: Yeah, and we're talking with Jacobins. We're talking about, how human trafficking really is a spiritual war. It is usually using sex and Money, as instruments of spiritual warfare, and how you're fighting back. And you were just addressing someone, you grabbed him, you named him Jonathan, I think, and that's not his name, but this guy. And you could tell that he was demon possessed.
Jaco Booyens: Yeah, worst of the worst, he's possessed. I mean, he's foaming at the mouth. And you start addressing the spirits. Now, the body is going to go to prison. But you can put a body in prison and demons still occupy. And this is why prison is such a horrific place today. There's no reformation. And the second you start addressing the spirits by their name, the man crumbles. And he starts asking, help me. And it's not a help me, I don't want to go to jail. He understands that, hey, he's got to go to jail. But the soul starts crying out to be rescued. And so when we really think about that, the Lord says, we battle not against flesh, but powers and principalities. We have to do a better job in this country understanding which spirits operate where. Like, what is the spirit, the strongman that has a hold of Washington D.C.
Kevin Freeman: That has to be bound in order. You can plunder the house. Right. So when you're saying this, it reminds me, I watched with great interest and I just looked it up. Carla Faye Tucker was, killed in 1998. She was put to death. It was a death sentence for her. But she came to know the Lord in, in the process of being caught and convicted and sentenced in her crime. And she was quite peaceful because she said, I'm going to have to pay an earthly price for what I've done. But I know eternity. And she didn't fight it. She wasn't one of those death row, last minute, she's like, no, no, no. I know my Savior. And I realize that this punishment is just from human terms. And you've got that balance there to understand the need for justice in human terms. But there also this need for awareness of that our eternity, we can make decisions, even the very end of our life as a murderer or sex trafficker or whatever that will land us in eternity with our Lord and Savior.
Jaco Booyens: Jesus hangs on the cross. He's got two thieves next to him. And we talk about thiefery. We steal from God all the time, every day, right? And one thief blasphemes him, and the other one says, remember me. And Jesus says to him, surely today you will be with me in paradise. There's never a moment that's too late. Now that doesn't give us a license to Live your life because you don't know when your moment comes. But to your example, that person, that woman that was going to be her life was going to be terminated while being incarcerated. Right? Right. Her soul was free.
Kevin Freeman: That's right.
Jaco Booyens: So your body can be. So we have to start understanding that the human body is a vessel to be embodied by a spirit. And this is why we say, no spirit but the Holy Spirit. When God says, I'm a jealous God, he says, I don't dwell with you, with other demons. Make your choice. This is a vessel, the earthly body. Now, sometimes the earthly body has to receive its due justice and punishment and go to prison or terminate life or serve a sentence. But so many are incarcerated and released, and there's not a soul transformation. So the recidivism rates 87%. They commit the crime again. Pedophiles commit the crime again. Victims of human trafficking, if they're not ministered to through the Holy Spirit, the average victim is rescued three times. They run away, they traffic themselves again. There has to be a soul transformation. A captive soul has to be set free.
Kevin Freeman: Amen.
Jaco Booyens: Amen.
Jesus said if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off
Kevin Freeman: All right, so I think about this. If you're in sin, Jesus said, if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. Wouldn't it be better to enter heaven missing a hand than it would be to have all your hands? And then it gets into the verse 2. If you've caused one of these little ones to sin, it'd be better to have a millstone tied around your neck and be cast into the sea. and you would hope that there would be, when that millstone was there and you're cast into the sea, that there would be a cry out to Jesus at the end because there's a, there's a person there, God loved. God created being that has been caught in this trap of sin. And we're all. Sin is an evil master. and the only way to get away from the evil master is to give your life to Christ and then to have your mind renewed continually, your.
Jaco Booyens: Soul saved continually, literally saved. I say this and again in the American church, when the saved from, they think, well, I gave my life to Jesus, now I'm good. No, you now need to start partnering with him to build the kingdom of heaven to the unto. Well, what's that? Go to all the nations and disciple them. Be fishers of men, get others to be set free. Well, how do I do that? In your daily activity and how you build your personal relationship with God, you know the two choice weapons Satan uses Choice weapons to destroy a human being and to destroy America. Sex and money.
Kevin Freeman: Sex and money. I have that down on my. That is literally in my show notes.
Jaco Booyens: It's sex and money. And you. God's given you such a voice into money. People should read the book, buy it. Money, 100%. And they should support you in what you're doing. Because I'll argue this, by doing what you're doing, you're combating human trafficking because it's connected. We live in this world where they wanted to tell us. And this is a big debate. I mean, Lance Wall now is a friend. And all these folks say these seven mountains, and it's one mountain, it's one mountain. There's fears, but it's the kingdom of God or the kingdom of darkness. You serve BAAL or you serve Jesus. There's no in between. You serve darkness or you serve light. And with light, we're all connected. So you bring justice and reformation in finance. Praise God, because finance is used as an evil to extort and exploit people and traffic people.
Sex and money, the two most powerful wicked weapons
Sex and money, the two most powerful wicked weapons. But it was designed by God for good. I say this all the time. There's not a single civilization on earth, no matter what they believe, that does not consummate a marriage with sex. They understand the power of sex. It's spiritual. Sex is spiritual. So Satan goes, great, I'll use what God brought for a husband and wife to become one. And I'll use that very thing called sex to shred it apart. And we'll go after children. And we'll wreck a nation by sexually abusing children and any other thing. I'll, make them love money. I'll make them worship money. I'll make them sell their souls for money. I'll, make them be unequally yoked, take business deals they shouldn't take. Steal from the people, pirate from the people. And when you combine those two, sex and money, and they run hand in hand.
Kevin Freeman: They do run hand in hand.
Jaco Booyens: Devastation.
Kevin Freeman: Yeah. Because a lot of people want to get money so they can get sex. And a lot of people want to get sex so they can get money. and they just. It's all matter of where you set your mind. The mindset on the things of the spirit is life and peace. The mindset on the things of the flesh, which would be sex and money. I mean, God is very clear. you know, do not put your treasure here on Earth where moth and rust destroy and thieves break in and steal. You want to, you know, I'm reading in Philippians this morning. you want to give and God shall supply all of your need because you'll have treasures in heaven. So the notion of earthly treasure being valuable, is a pathway to sin. And the notion that sex outside of God's given marriage for the propagation of the species is so powerful. You have a family, I have a family. And the notion that sex should be associated, as Islam has done, with death. So I gotta, you know, I kill so many people and get killed and I get so many virgins in heaven.
Jaco Booyens: That's demonic. Just on its face value there on its face, that's pretty demonic. No matter what the religion is. You tell people, hey, if you kill a lot of people, you get a lot of sex with virgins. That's pretty twisted, man.
Kevin Freeman: That's very twisted.
Jaco Booyens: That's demonic. But then you found out that the guy who wrote their book married a 9 year old and had sex with 9 year olds.
Kevin Freeman: There you go. That's demonic.
Jaco Booyens: It's demonic.
Kevin Freeman: And the whole notion that we've got to cover every woman up, here on earth so that when we do that, we get to have all these uncovered orgies. There's something, you know, that seems so bizarrely twisted.
Jaco Booyens: Yeah, I say it all the time. Just let the Quran speak for itself. Put it up on billboards, man. American women will run for the hills. They'll say, wait a second, they can do what? Do you know that any Muslim man can look at a child regardless of age, not puberty? If you ask the Muslims, when does puberty start? It's not in the first menstrual cycle. It's whenever they uncover the girl. So when a grown man looks at a young girl and says, she's tempting me. She's nine, eight. She makes me want to have intimacy with her. Then they cover her because he's now claimed her. It's demonic. It's thiefery. It's robbing people of innocence and freedom.
Kevin Freeman: And this is where the Rambo comes out. And you're like. But then you realize that there are. And I hear reports, you've probably heard reports in the Middle east, men who've had a dream, a vision, an appearance of Jesus, they've dropped and they said, I'm done with this.
Jaco Booyens: It's happening every day.
Kevin Freeman: It's happening every day.
Jaco Booyens: It's happening a lot. Because if we won't church the unchurched, if we won't go talk to them, then the Holy Spirit will do it. He'll do it himself.
We ask American men To fight an evil like sex trafficking or stealing from American people
We ask American men To fight an evil like sex trafficking or an evil like stealing from the American people. Blind. The American people are being robbed left, right and center, right on so many levels, state level, federal level. You will not fight the demons you sleep with. You will not. A man that has a porn account is not going to combat sex trafficking. Why? Because Satan understands what happened in the Garden of Eden. The second that man partakes in the sin, guilt, shame, condemnation comes in. He will hide from God like Adam and Eve, hidden, completely helpless against those completely helpless. If he steals, if he doesn't pay his employees what he should, if he's employing illegals, if he's whatever, if there's bribery, thiefery going on, it's not going to be part of the reformation of money.
Kevin Freeman: You mentioned one, though. Money is tied to pornography. Pornographers make lots of money. That's one of the reasons they do it. Then they get caught in that sin and sex and money are intertwined again. but, but how prevalent is pornography in the church today?
Jaco Booyens: 57% of pastors, pastors in America casually view pornography. Now you got a problem because there's a higher calling on the life of a pastor.
Kevin Freeman: Yeah. No, not many of you be teachers. You're subject to a future judgment. Right.
Jaco Booyens: Paul says, rather, don't get married.
Kevin Freeman: Yeah.
Jaco Booyens: If you cannot hold this marriage pure as a representation of the bride and groom, Jesus in the church, then rather you don't get married. Right.
Kevin Freeman: But pornography is, it is literal adultery. It's not a hundred percent. It is literal adultery.
Jaco Booyens: Jesus said, well, Jesus, Jesus comes and people go, well, Jesus came to fulfill the law. And now all of a sudden, the Old Testament's obsolete. Nonsense, nonsense. The full word of God is active today. Jesus actually ups the ante. The Old Testament says if you are caught in the act of adultery, then you're adulterer. Jesus says if you even look at a woman, you've already committed adultery in your heart. He actually ups the ante. Right.
Kevin Freeman: Pornography is designed to elicit lust. It's beyond purpose.
Jaco Booyens: It's lust, but it's beyond adultery. Just it's exploitation, it's extortion. Because literally this is what happens when a man wants pornography. He is asking somebody else to exploit a human being for his pleasure. So he's asking, he's demanding. Money is what? Supply and demand. Right? It's not demand supply, it's supply and demand. When you demand, someone will supply.
Kevin Freeman: That's capitalist system.
Jaco Booyens: That's America. We're the number one nation on earth producing pornography because we're the number one nation where the men want women to be exploited for their pleasure. I sit with so many men that are porn addicts, right? And we'll flip through their phones and I'll say, which one of these girls are your girl? And they go, I don't even care about the girl. It's the act.
Kevin Freeman: This is the problem of sex and money. It's the problem of America. It's something we're facing, and Yakubuyans is fighting on our behalf. We've got a big announcement. Stay tuned. We'll be right back.
Jaco Booyens: Pirate Money Radio helping you give, spend and invest in ways that align with liberty, security and values.
America's two great traps are sex and money
Welcome back with your host, Kevan Freeman.
Kevin Freeman: Yeah, we talk a lot about money. It's even in the name Pirate Money Radio here. but we want to do it from a biblical perspective. And we're talking with Jacobians. And what we've been discussing is the truth is that America's two great, traps are sex and money. And America has gone to extremes in both of those and taken us away from the original founding principles, which was based on liberty, security and values. The government was supposed to bring us liberty, and protect and preserve the rights God gave us, and provide security and also allow people to live out their values. There are only three things you can do with your money. You can give it, you can spend it, or you can invest it. Here at Pirate Money Radio, we work to explain solutions that support all three areas in a way that promotes liberty, security, and values. Patriot Mobile. It's a mobile phone company that supports the Pirate Money radio program. Patriot Mobile uses US carriers, including AT&T, Verizon and T Mobile, and operates on both Apple and Android phones. More information about the economic war room and Patriot Mobile is [email protected] AFR that's PirateMoneyRadio.com AFR and Yaku, we're talking about money and how people are using their money to satisfy their lusts, and they're using their lusts to get money. And the love of money is the root of all sorts of evil. And one of the prohibitions in the early church is against porneia, which would be pornography, but it's also any type of illicit sex outside of marriage.
Jaco Booyens: Yeah, the two are intertwined.
America is 40% of the market for human trafficking
Give you some numbers because you're a numbers guy and this is a numbers show, right?
Kevin Freeman: Yeah.
Jaco Booyens: We're approaching, approaching worldwide. Spending $200 billion a year with a B buying children for sex. Okay, 200 billion.
Kevin Freeman: So we've made human beings commodity commodity, yeah.
Jaco Booyens: 100% now of the 200 billion worldwide in the 250 something recognized countries in the world. Right. America is approaching 80 billion of that 200 a year spent inside the United States.
Kevin Freeman: That's 40%.
Jaco Booyens: We are the market.
Kevin Freeman: We're 4% of the world's population. We're about 20, 25% of the world's economy, but we're 40% of the market for human trafficking.
Jaco Booyens: For human trafficking. Any cartel around the world, any. And I work, I worked in 56 countries from Interpol down. I mean there's not a three letter police agency that's worth their salt. Not the bad guys that I haven't worked with. Right. Every single one of them will tell you international cartels work their way to the US because this is where they make the money. We spent Last year over 52 billion purchasing women and children for sex. That's not porn. We are in the hundreds of billions of dollars. That's tax free, by the way. Traffickers don't pay tax on this. It goes through our banking system. You can't bank marijuana. I don't think you should be allowed to bank marijuana. But you can't. Right? But you can bank sex trafficking, which.
Kevin Freeman: Is unbelievable because the banks have, for example, shut down accounts of people who said we're not sure vaccines are a good thing.
Jaco Booyens: Correct.
Kevin Freeman: And so they shut them down.
Jaco Booyens: Correct.
Kevin Freeman: the banks clearly could find out about the sex trafficking. And it's very easy to see that money is dirty. And yet the banking system's doing nothing.
Jaco Booyens: It's because of the association that they don't want to do it. Because when you start saying, well, who? And he's like, well, wait a second, this guy owns companies. This guy employs 5,000 people. And so we start cherry picking. So if you really look at US law and we write a lot of policy and legislation in this country. 57 bills written and passed last year alone. JBM, federally, statewide, 48 states. When you really understand how we have allowed our justice system to pick winners and losers where lady justice is not blind. No, it becomes case law. And then you learn that we only prosecute sex crimes in this country by conviction at a rate of 16%. Only 16%.
Kevin Freeman: And there's a reluctance to bring case in the first place. And then only 16% are.
Jaco Booyens: You get a conviction, convicted. So they plead them down. And you saw it in Sean Combs case. And so there's bribery and money. Deals are being made on the lives of people. So even after the Trafficking act is Done. There's still bartering and brokering happening on.
Kevin Freeman: The back of the politicians compromised.
Historically, politicians have been compromised by sex trafficking
All right, give us your perspective. Jeffrey Epstein pops up in the news. He was clearly involved in sex trafficking. He's clearly a, bad guy and all of this. But, you know and I know, historically, there have been politicians severely compromised. what are your thoughts?
Jaco Booyens: Yeah. So I was on the Epstein case in 2005. I'll say this to you. There's no new information. None. Everything we had in 06 when Acosta helped him walk, is the same that came out in 18, 19 and 20. There's nothing new. It's there. The information has been there. Jeffrey Epstein was marked by Robert Maxwell. Jeffrey was made. Jeffrey couldn't run a lemonade stand in Wall Street. You run what's called a book that you book a business. Right?
Kevin Freeman: Right.
Jaco Booyens: Epstein didn't have a book. Epstein wasn't a name on Wall Street. They positioned him as an agent to compromise. Big financial players, politicians, international players. They understand the power of sex. Jeffrey was made by Robert Maxwell. Robert gets killed on his own yacht, gets thrown overboard. Ghislaine Maxwell gets introduced to Jeffrey by Robert. Jeffrey Epstein was the guy. He was a connector, he was a socialite. To say, we need that guy, that politician, his voice is too strong. Compromise him. How do you compromise him? Money and sex. And so it's global, it's international. Governments do this. They do it today. They do it to turn agents, they do it to roll informants. They do it today. And it's not always that someone has to engage in sex with a child surreptitiously. You're at a party, you get a picture of. You get taken with a minor present. You didn't talk to the minor. There's a knock on the door the next morning. yellow manila envelope is slipped through the door, and you're in pictures. And they go, hey, next week, that vote, you're not voting. I say this all the time to Americans. Look at your constituents, the constituents at the elected officials. Look at your elected officials and see when they do not vote. Not the yes and the no. Look. When they abstain, when it comes to. You're going to find it. When it comes to children, sex, drag shows for kids, they abstain because they're compromised. So they want to go on the record of, like, I didn't vote. Oh, that's a vote for the negative side. In the kingdom of heaven, you just supported evil to be. This is not hard. When you see. Lord says, when you open your eyes, you See, sex and money is used. So, Epstein. Yes. A list. People want a list. Give us the Epstein list. You can't prosecute a list. You've got to start indicting people. Try to start pulling people in from the witness stand, pull them on a polygraph, cross examine them.
Kevin Freeman: What you're telling me though, is because you can be compromised so easily. Because politicians have been subject to this, that unless they have an incredible spine, they will never be able to stand up to this because the weight of this is so heavy. so how do you reach the politicians in Washington D.C. and give them the spine? Without Jesus?
Jaco Booyens: You cannot. You cannot without Jesus. And so let's just talk about that for a second. In Jesus, what needs to happen is we say repentance needs to happen. Well, before repentance, there's a conviction. There's a conviction of the heart to the Lord. But sometimes there needs to be a conviction in the court of law. Somebody needs to hit rock bottom, and it's time for big names to not be passed by, to not be reshuffled into the deck, to not still be in government or still teach or principles that abused kids are still teaching. There needs to be a conviction that leads to repentance. a holy fear of God has to fall on this nation for men to be self convicted, to go. I cannot partake in this. Perhaps today a guy's a casual porn user, like a pastor, right? He needs a holy conviction to say, if I continue to go down this path, this train stops at buying children. You're on the track, buddy. You're going there. It's just how fast are you going to get there, get off the track? But they have to see it. There has to be consequence, right? And so unfortunately, our Congress has a fund, Kevan, $187 million fund, that's a hush fund for sex crimes funded by the American people.
Kevin Freeman: That's incredible.
Jaco Booyens: Like what? How is it. It should be the opposite.
There is a revival happening in our nation, but a revival is short lived
We should reward those who uncover this stuff, not have a fund to make it go away, to pay a settlement and sign an NDA. Come on.
Kevin Freeman: Unless. All right, so there are a couple of choices. What we can do here. We could go in and have this mass political movement and remove the bad guys and put in good guys, pray for them, hope that they get saved and all that. Another way to go in is to go into Washington itself and to find politician and bring them to the conviction of Jesus Christ. Now, at Bible study, we talked about how a, revival is good. And we're seeing a revival happening in our nation. Now, it was sparked in part by our friend, our mutual friend, Charlie Kirk being shot.
Jaco Booyens: Dear friend.
Kevin Freeman: And all of a sudden people, were saying, I've got to go back to church. And Charlie talked about having families, and Charlie talked about this. And so there was this push there. But a revival is short lived. We had a revival after 9 11. It didn't last.
Jaco Booyens: That's right.
Kevin Freeman: we had a revival after the 2008 financial crisis. Didn't last. We need an awakening. How do we get to an awakening?
Jaco Booyens: We have to go to the belly of the beast. God says, go into the dark places. Bring light into the darkest places. We have to go into Washington D.C. and bring the true, full gospel of Jesus Christ consistently, week in, week out. Consistently. To do what? To spur conviction. That leads to repentance. That transforms the hearts of these politicians and their staffers to make different decisions, to literally become men and women of God. That says we're a nation set apart to be a light on the hill, to show the path to the way. Who's the way? Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.
Kevin Freeman: Amen.
Jaco Booyens ordained with purpose of going to Washington D.C. to bring a reformation
Well, and you have been called to this. It is not something that you walked into seeking it or in any way, but you've been called. And this is our big announcement here is that, at a, wonderful church in Fort Worth, you were ordained with the purpose of going to Washington D.C. tell us that story.
Jaco Booyens: Yeah. So blessed to be part of Mercy Culture Church. Ordained through Mercy Culture Church to plant my wife and I, Philippa, and be the lead pastors of mercy culture Washington D.C. in the District of Columbia, in the Embassy Row District. That's literally the deep state. To bring a holy reformation in that city and not, not spare the truth one iota. Not a single day. And I believe a tidal wave. My wife had this vision, and God said to her, you cannot drain a swamp. A swamp's made to hold water. People don't know that DC Is actually a swamp. Not bad people. But if you just venture an hour and a half outside D.C. it's swampy. It's like, you know, the bayou.
Kevin Freeman: Yeah.
Jaco Booyens: You cannot drain a swamp. The Lord said, but when I bring a wave of my spirit in, I, wash it clean. And we're going to D.C. and we're in D.C. to see a holy reformation sweep through that city and literally wash it.
Kevin Freeman: You have heard it here if you hadn't heard it before. Jacob, Owens is going with his wife Philippa as lead pastors of a new church in Washington D.C. mercy Culture DC. And they're going to bring the truth of the gospel. A shining city on a hill, a light not hid under a bushel, but put out for all to see. To call the Congress, to call the bureaucracy, call the White House. And Yacuz been with the President. He's been mar a lago. And D.C. and everything else, which we're going to cover. We're going to have to take another break here in a second. But you've been there and you're going to bring the truth of Jesus Christ. This is one of the most exciting announcements. Not outside the Beltway. A lot of good churches outside the Beltway, inside the Beltway, across, literally, a, nine iron shot away from the vice President's house. All right, we're with Jacobians. We're talking about this exciting new thing, Mercy Culture dc. We're going to cover this and more right after this break. We'll be right back.

Glint is a financial technology service offering a debit card and mobile app
Welcome back with your host, Kevan Freeman.
Kevin Freeman: You know, we talk a lot on this program about pirate money. Transactional gold and silver. there's a real technology that can be used and support for this program comes from Glint. It's a financial technology service offering a debit card and mobile app that enables users to access their gold holdings for everyday purchases. With Glint, users maintain ownership of allocated physical gold, which is stored in a managed vault at the time of a transaction. Gold is sold in real time to cover the purchase amount in local currency. Glint offers an alternative way to store and use the value. Combining gold and silver with modern payment infrastructure, Glint clients can monitor their gold balance, view transaction history and manage their account through the Glint app, available on major mobile platforms. More details about how vaulted physical gold can be used as money are [email protected].
Mercy Culture DC will open in Washington, D.C., in 2026
That'S glintpay.com gold24,7 glint providing access to gold for modern spending. That's a standard. They call it the gold standard. There's another standard. The Bible is full of discussion of standards. And when the enemy comes in like a flood, and he has through sex and money and pornography and deviancy and compromise, and it's all happening at the center of power, which is Washington, D.C. and when the enemy comes in like a flood, promises God will raise up a standard. And I believe that Mercy Culture DC is a standard God's establishing in Washington to set the tone for this nation, to bring the awakening American needs. And we've got Jacobins, the Man chosen by God. I was reading about how Paul was chosen in my, Bible reading this morning. It's called by God, chosen by God, sent by God. He called himself the least of the apostles, and yet he, you know, two thirds of the NewSong Testament written by the apostle Paul. You have been called, called set apart, and are going to be sent to Washington, D.C. and your first service at Mercy Culture D.C. will be when?
Jaco Booyens: Pentecost Sunday. We prayed about when to do this. Pastor Landon Schott and, I And the elders and the team, like, when should the first service be? And it's on PENTECOST Sunday in D.C. because we're putting a stake in the ground, saying, like Elijah calling fire from the sky, say, let all these other altars be smashed and let the Lord bring fire from the sky for that city. So on Pentecost Sunday, which is literally baptism of the Holy Spirit fell on the upper room of the 120 Pentecost Sunday. It's May 24, 2026, first service. there's interest nights every month leading up to it. But it is for a time such as this and the Holy Reformation. And like Paul, I'll tell you who am I. I'm a kid from Africa. I'm an immigrant to this country. I'm a proud American citizen. I love this nation. I bl. But I know. I know God created me for this moment and has forged me through these 30 years of fighting for the least and lost and the broken. I've stared demons in the eyes. I've heard them call my name. I've heard them quote scripture. I understand in part the powers and principalities. And we're going to that city to see a holy reformation happen. And it is a calling. It is a sending. It's not something that Kevan wanted to do. This was not an aspiration ever. We actually wrestled with God for 60 days, saying, Lord, are you sure? And he's like, this is my will for you. Will you go? And I said, yes.
Kevin Freeman: Hear my Lord, send me, is what you said. But I'm telling you, you better put this market in your prayer list of things to pray for in 2026. Put right near the top. We need. We need an awakening in this nation more than a revival. The future and the hope that we have is broken because of sex and money. And, your kids won't grow up in the same country that you grew up in unless there is an awakening. And God's called Yaku. He's called others. I know for a fact he's Called others. But this is a Standard for Washington, D.C. put him on your prayer list. Put his family on your prayer list. Put mercy culture on your prayer list. This is a dynamic, wonderful church, but they are going straight into the pits of hell, by sending a, congregation. It's one thing to be in Fort Worth, Texas. It's quite another thing to have a congregation in Washington, D.C. the stakes are much, much, much higher, but the potential prize and the victory is much higher as well. Pray for Yaaku and his family. This is unbelievable.
America has an identity crisis as a nation
Jaco Booyens: Thank you. It is. It is. I believe. And you said raise the standard. Just preached the message this weekend. Raise the standard. Gold standard, the only metal that's reflected in heaven. We'll walk on streets of gold. I mean, God sets standards. Jesus is the standard. And it's time that America has a new standard. We need to raise the standard, both in finance, in gold, but in morality. And this is what this is about. We're going to that city because that is the influential city to the world. there's over 102 embassies within a mile of the church. It is the deep state. The Lord said unto the nations. America has an identity crisis as a nation. It was designed by God to be the lamp on the hill, to point to the way to the second coming of the Messiah, to bring a holy reformation across the land and the world. And this is the season God is sending us in. And it's not because of us he's doing it. What an honor to be chosen. And we said, yes. And it's with fear and trembling that we go, because it is, as you said, it's the belly of the beast. but the Lord's going to do a mighty work.
Kevin Freeman: He is. But this is a choice for America. I lay before you life and death. A blessing or a curse? Choose, and I'll tell you. Go to Deuteronomy 28 and start reading about Deuteronomy 28. A nation under a blessing is a nation that borrows from none and lends to others. Oh, that's not America today. A nation under a blessing is one where the alien lives comfortably among you, and you love and bless on them. But under a curse, the alien rises higher and higher, and you find yourself in service to the alien. What's America doing now? We've been in service to the, ah, nation under a curse. And how do we break that? We take the one curse breaker, the one who fulfilled the curse of the law. According to Galatians, we take Jesus Christ into the heart of this nation. And where does it start? It needs to start at Washington D.C. i hate to see you leaving our beloved state of Texas. I love Texas and I love seeing you go to Washington dc. And so Marnie and, our only choice is we're going to follow you in spirit and in the flesh when we can get there, just like Paul says. You know, I wait. I can't. I long to see you. So we plan to be initial members of Mercy Culture Church and start our tithing and support there and service there, because I know this is God's call. We went home. When you shared it with us, we went home. And when we saw that, anointing, that the service that Mercy Culture had, our hearts leapt. This is our future. This is where God wants us to be right now.
Jaco Booyens: Yeah. Kevan, you and Marnie are war horses in the fight. And I really believe. I've watched, I've observed you and your wife, and I can say this truly, and I say it unconditionally. Your eyes are like flint. It's on the Lord. And God's called you for a time such as this.
America has given God an identity crisis with blended belief system
and I think you've covered here today two critical, critical arrows that if we break the back of these arrows, that America has a chance, and that is sex and money and what people are willing to do, to compromise for it, you know, and build false gods and false idols. And we are in America today with a blended. I say this, if you have a blended, blended belief system, it leads to a blended Bible, which leads you to believe that the Abrahamic faith is the faith of all gods of the same God. And you see that rising up in America, and then it creates a God with an identity crisis. And so God has an identity crisis. He doesn't. But America has given God an identity crisis in America, because now all of a sudden they say, well, aren't all the gods the same God? Aren't we praying to the same God? No, we're not. We're absolutely not. And so our belief system has been compromised. We need the truth. The truth sets you free. Justice doesn't set you free. Justice is important. But if you seek the way, Jesus first. The way first, you inherit. You stumble upon truth. You find the truth through the way, and you inherit life.
Kevin Freeman: Amen.
Jaco Booyens: If you look for truth, you'll miss the way. It's the way first. Jesus first.
Kevin Freeman: And, you know, I've got to tell you, I read this book when I was younger, think, and grow rich. And I thought, well, that's a good book. A Lot of believers say I should read it. But what I took away from it, and I think I'm remembering this correctly, is think about how, you want to go get money and get rich so you can get lots of sex. And it tied those two together. And that's the fallenness of America. No, set your mind on the things above, not on the things of the earth. In heaven, we neither marry nor are given in marriage, but we're like the angels and we have perfect relationship with God. Heaven is not a place where you get 72 virgins. That is a deceitful lie from hell. That is, you know, think and grow rich. Applied to religion becomes Islam. And there's a lot of sects in a lot of different religions. God has us. Sex is something that creates life. Life is something God has given us as a gift. And the purpose of it is to procreate, fill the earth, to love your families and so forth. It is not to get rich. Those who seek to get rich fall into a trap. Washington D.C. new York City, Silicon Valley is filled with people seeking to get rich. They fall into a trap instead. Set your mind on the things above and not the things beneath. For the mind that is set on the things above is life and peace.
Jaco Booyens: That's right. That's right. Those who say I am about building, I'm unto building the kingdom of God. And to do that we need some resources. That person that then gets access to money, they give it, they spend it into the kingdom of heaven, they spend it for reformation. It's not about what can I gather. And then the Lord looks at you and says, oh, you're faithful with little, now watch me make you faithful with much. But when you have a mindset of I have to get to buy access sex, power, you're a hoarder, right? That is self righteous. You've made yourself a deity that is not unto the kingdom of God. This is where our nation is today. We have bred a cultural mindset of for me and mine and I need to get while I can, right? Make hay while the sun is shining so that I can purchase power, sex, access, etc. Right? And it all always leads to sex. It's either the 67 year old billionaire that wants a 21 year old girlfriend or it's, you know, it always ends up in ultimately purchasing people. And so what did Jesus come? He came to purchase us out of debt and slavery with his blood, right?
Kevin Freeman: Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all other things shall be added to you. Pray for Jacob Bullons. Listen, wherever you get your podcasts, Apple, Spotify, etc. This is Kevan Freeman joined by Jacob Williams for Pirate Money Radio.
