There has been recent controversy in the Southern Baptist Convention debating if women should be ordained to the pastorate.  Jeff talks today about the roles of men and women in the church and in the home.

The 7th commandment says, “You shall not commit adultery.” Sex is created by God and He wants us to take it seriously, and not shipwreck our lives due to sexual immorality.

You husbands in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with someone weaker, since she is a woman; and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered - 1 Peter 3:7

How a husband treats his wife is critical. God says if you don’t treat her right your prayers aren’t aren’t going to get through.  Husbands, we need to take heed to 1 Peter 3:7 and live with our wives in an understanding way.
