Many who oppose Christianity target their hostility on our foundation, the Bible. They say it is unreliable because Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 are contradictory accounts of the creation story.
In actuality, the 2 chapters are complimentary and not contradictory.
When Jesus was asked about marriage, He quoted from both chapters 1 and 2, saying that He made them both to be male and female in the beginning. "And for this cause shall a man leave his mother and father and cleave unto his wife."
Genesis 1 is an overview of the creation story and Genesis 2 is an up close examination of day 6. If Jesus relies on them both, so can we.
“For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the LORD will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you” Isaiah 60:2 (ESV).

Emile Ratelband, a 69-year-old man from the Netherlands, is suing to legally change his age to 49.
He said, he lives in a society where people can change their sex if they want to, people can change their names if they want to, so why should he be able to change his age.
At age 49, he says he’d likely have better luck gaining employment and purchasing homes and vehicles.
If biology can be made irrelevant, why not chronology as well?

America has a long history of giving thanks to the LORD as a nation. In 1789 George Washington, President of the young American nation which had only a few years earlier emerged from the American Revolution, called an official celebratory “Day of thanksgiving and prayer.”
When we consider all that has transpired in our personal lives, in our families, and in our nation there is only one appropriate response.
Let praise to our God flow from our lips as we gather with our families and give thanks.

Following Jeff Sessions resignation from the Attorney General post, several names have surfaced as possible replacements. Among them is Judge Janice Rogers Brown.
Judge Brown served alongside Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh while they both were on the powerful D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. Appointed by former President George W. Bush, Brown was widely regarded as the most conservative voices on the bench.
She is well liked and well respected and she just happened to be in the White House in September.
She would be an excellent choice.

Though many in the media denied the imminent threat posed by the migrant caravan that originated in Honduras, the first caravaners have now arrived.
In 1966, Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, devised a strategy to overwhelm the New York welfare system by adding as many people as possible to the welfare rolls to topple the existing system and replace it with a national system of annual income guaranteed by the government.
This migrant caravan issue, aided by anonymous financial supporters, is the Cloward-Piven strategy applied on the national stage.

In the course of my New Orleans Saints putting a beat-down on the Los Angeles Rams, Quarterback Drew Brees threw a touchdown pass to tight end Benjamin Watson.
Watson is passionately pro-life. He addressed the 2018 March for Life in Washington D.C. and has purchased ultrasound machines for pregnancy resource centers around the country.
During the game, Watson celebrated his touchdown by announcing to the world that he and his wife were expecting twins. The twins are the Watsons’ 6th and 7th children.
Children are blessings from the LORD. Who Dat!

Some United Nation Member States are ready to sign what is titled the “Global Compact for Migration” into effect.
The Compact would declare migration is a human right.
European lawmakers, particularly Germany, seem content with the Compact, which would codify the globalist objective of establishing open borders as a human right.
The Compact would eradicate the need for definitions for illegal aliens, refugees, and asylum seekers and describe them all as migrants.
Isn’t interesting that this is happening at the exact same time the Honduran caravan is heading toward the U.S. southern border?

The European Court of Human Rights has ruled that criticism of Muhammad, the founder of Islam, constitutes incitement to hatred and therefore is not protected free speech.
The Strasbourg, France-based court has jurisdiction over 47 European countries and its rulings are legally binding on all 28 member states of the European Union.
The decision has effectively legitimized the Islamic blasphemy code in the name of preserving religious peace in Europe.
It establishes the dangerous legal precedent that authorizes European states to curtail free speech rights if such speech is deemed offensive to Muslims.

The unemployment rate held at a 49 year low while wages increased 3.1%. That is the fastest wages rate increase in nearly a decade.
In the face of our currently booming economy, a remaining complaint has been the lagging wage rates. Though the economy roared, wages remained stagnant.
Well, that last objection has just been shredded since the Wall Street Journal is reporting wages have now increased 3.1%.
Rising tides lift all ships. Thankfully, wages are now part of that rising tide.
On the financial front, it kinda feels like it’s morning in America again.

Florida law enforcement officials foiled a plot by two middle school girls who planned to kill over a dozen smaller children, eat their flesh, and drink their blood.
The 6th and 7th grade girls, ages 11 and 12, were arrested at Bartow Middle School. The girls had a several weapons including a butcher knife, a knife sharpener, and a pizza cutter. When asked about their motivation the girls said they were Satan worshippers and they planned to drink their victims’ blood out of a goblet they were found with.
Warfare people, this warfare is spiritual.

Live Action released a report detailing how millions of dollars in taxpayer funding to Planned Parenthood are allowing it to spend millions of dollars to elect politicians who support in-utero baby murder.
Taxpayer funding frees up donors to direct their money to Planned Parenthood’s political agenda rather than to fund what nominal health services they provide.
Planned Parenthood’s political arm spent $20 million on its own and another $30 million in joint efforts during the 2018 midterms.
They also spent $160 million for “public policy” and “movement building” as well as another $85 million on fundraising last year.
“But they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened” Romans 1:21(b) (ESV).

The 14th Amendment says “All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside.”
The phrase “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” was clearly formed as a limitation on who would be granted citizenship due to being born on American soil.
We know this because the children born to foreign diplomats in America are not granted U.S. citizenship.
The children of illegal aliens are no more subject to U.S. jurisdiction than the children of foreign diplomats.

According to the Morgan Stanley bank, tax refunds in 2019 will be 26% greater than returns in 2018.
In dollars, this is $62 billion more than last years $235 billion in refunds that were issued as of April 2018.
That is a total of $297 billion that will be repopulated through the economy all due to the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
Say what you will, but President Trump has fulfilled many of his campaign promises.
Record low unemployment, 4% GDP growth, a booming economy and the latest news of higher tax refunds this can only be described as more winning.

There is much at stake in tomorrow’s midterm election. Issues such as the sanctity of life, religious liberty, the security of our borders, our response to Islamic fundamentalism, and the advance of the radical LGBTQ+ agenda are all on the ballot.
The American Family Association is calling on God’s people to fast and pray today for God’s will to be done on Election Day.
God has shown great mercy to our nation despite our manifest sins.
Let’s thank him for his undeserved grace. And let us appeal to the God of heaven to intervene and motivate his people to select godly leadership to guide our country

These words were shared between Cleopas and his companion on the 7-mile walk from Jerusalem to Emmaus as Jesus, in resurrection form, used the Hebrew Scriptures to reveal Himself to them as the Messiah.
There are at least 109 distinct biblical prophecies the Messiah had to fulfill.
The mathematical probability of such a feat occurring is astoundingly absurd, yet that absurdity is satisfied... in Jesus, the Messiah.

In an interview with the far left outfit “Democracy Now” Democrat candidate for New York’s 14th District congressional seat and soon to be Congresswoman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, lamented the fact people are disappointed when candidates like her don’t have fully formed opinions or otherwise understand the issues they discuss publicly.
She said this after being unable to articulate a cogent position on Middle East policy concerning Israel.
It would almost be funny if she wasn’t headed to Washington D.C. to deliberate and vote on pretty important issues like the federal budget… and stuff like that.

The day of Pentecost concluded with 3,000 converts being added to the initial body of 120 believers. Then, that 3,120 spent time together daily going to the temple and interacting in each other’s homes.
They devoted themselves continually to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, sharing meals and praying together.
The 3,120 that made up the early church came from Turkey, the Middle East, and Africa and included Arabs and Romans. In addition to all of this geographic and ethnic diversity they spoke different languages. They were made one family in Christ Jesus.
Scripture has the answer to the issues we face today.

In 1954, Americans lived under constant threat of nuclear attack from the USSR.
When America’s children practiced “duck and cover” in classrooms across the country, President Eisenhower realized that our pledge had no distinction from any other republic.
After hearing a sermon on February 7th of that year, President Eisenhower signed a law adding the words “under God” to our pledge.
The president recognized the true source of unity – of indivisibility – is unwavering submission to the God of the Bible.
As we go about our day, let us all remember the only true source of national unity and indivisibility is submission to Almighty God.

Hannaniah, Mishael, and Azariah weren’t the only Jewish exiles in Babylon. They weren’t the only people under Nebuchadnezzar who knew that YHWH expressly prohibited worshipping graven images.
Yet, they are the only three recorded in Scripture who refused to bow down and worship the golden statute. Though they were an extreme minority they refused to go along to get along with the Babylonian culture.
The way of Christ-following may be in the minority today, it is nevertheless The Way.
Resolute is the disposition of the fully persuaded. In this modern day Babylon, be one of the three.

Twitter rejected multiple tweets from a Washington-based immigration research center’s advertising campaign as “hate speech” because they used the term “illegal alien.”
“Alien” - rather than ‘immigrant’ - is the correct legal term, since “alien’ is defined in 8 U.S.C. section 1101(a)(3) as “any person not a citizen or national of the United States.”
Precision in the law is a vital principle, since exact words used in statutes, regulations, contracts, guidance documents, and policy statements can significantly affect how they are applied and interpreted.
To Twitter, cultural marxism is far more important than legal precision.
