With a 68-62 vote, the Minnesota House of Representatives passed a bill to make Minnesota a “sanctuary state” for so-called gender affirming care for minors.
The bill now goes to the Senate for consideration and, should it pass there, Democrat Governor Tim Walz has already committed to sign it into law once it reaches his desk.
This bill, should it become law, would allow Minnesota’s governmental apparatus to refuse to comply with parents’ efforts to rescue their children from permanent life altering medications and/or procedures if their child made it to MN to request them.
