The East Plano Islamic Center, or EPIC, is moving forward with plans to construct what many are describing as a “Sharia City” in the Dallas, TX Metroplex called “EPIC City.”
If constructed, EPIC City would be built on a 402-acre site which covers parts of Collin and Hunt counties. The plans also include over 1,000 homes, a mosque, a religious school, a community college, and sports facilities.
EPIC resident Islamic scholar Yasir Qadhi said the plan is to create a “Muslim neighborhood.”
In response to the project, TX Governor Gregg Abbott said, “Sharia law is not allowed in TX.”
