A resolution to condemn Hamas garnered an unprecedented level of support —by 87 countries — in the General Assembly. However, due to a last-minute maneuver, the threshold for passage was changed to two-thirds of the votes rather than a simple majority, and the measure was not adopted. The UN once again sides with terrorists!
