On Thursday’s edition of “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins” Tony broadcasts from Israel for one final program as FRC’s Holy Land tour comes to a close. He is joined by Chris Mitchell, CBN News Middle East Bureau Chief, and they discuss the news today that confirmed Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will make a visit to Jerusalem next week. From the Southern Steps of Jerusalem, Tony is joined by New York Times best-selling author and teacher, Joel Rosenberg as he highlights the unfolding biblical prophecy in Israel and details the greatest threats to Israel’s security.  Tony is also joined by Dr. Naim Khoury, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Bethlehem, who shares how the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank is openly discriminating against Christians. And finally, Tony talks with Michele Bachmann, Lt. Gen (Ret) Jerry Boykin, and Ken Blackwell for a wrap up of FRC’s visit to Israel. 

On Wednesday’s edition of “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins” Tony broadcasts from Jerusalem and devotes the program to a discussion with Caroline Glick, Senior Contributing Editor of the Jerusalem Post.  They talk about the upcoming move of the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem, the significance of President Trump keeping his promise to do so, and how this move will improve both U.S. and Israel national security. They address how President Trump should handle the Iran Nuclear Deal and discuss whether a two-state solution in Israel is really a solution. And they wrap up the conversation by taking questions from the Washington Watch radio audience in Israel. 

On Tuesday's edition of "Washington Watch with Tony Perkins" Washington Watch producer, Russ Jones, guest hosts for Tony. National Security Institute Visiting Fellow Matthew Heiman joins our guest host to discuss Mike Pompeo’s nomination to become the next Secretary of State. FRC’s Travis Weber, Director of the Center for Religious Liberty, is here to highlight the national security element of religious liberty and how Mike Pompeo would promote both as Secretary of State. On Monday’s edition of “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins” Tony broadcasts from Israel as FRC’s tour of the Holy Land continues.  He is joined by former congresswoman Michele Bachmann and they discuss today’s vote in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on the nomination of Mike Pompeo for Secretary of State.  They will also react to the Durham, NC City Council’s decision to ban training and other forms of exchange between its police department and Israel’s military or police. Tony is also joined by Avi Melamed, an expert on the current affairs in the Arab and Muslim world and their impact on Israel and the Middle East.  As a former Israeli Intelligence Official, he offers unique insight into making sense of the events unfolding in the region.  Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Jerry Boykin joins Tony from the Golan Heights in Israel to discuss the 1973 Yom Kippur War as well as the present state of affairs in Syria.
