President Trump's White House Term: Media Bans, Foreign Relations, and Economic Concerns
Unknown Female: While in our nation's capital, President Trump
Unknown Female: is facing swift backlash this morning over moves he has taken in his second term.
Another host: From a new media ban at the White House to rising prices in a shaky economy, Americans are voicing their frustrations. Here's NBC's Alice Barr.
Speaker D: President Trump beginning a week of high profile meetings with a sit down today with NewSong York Mayor Zorin Mamdani before joining the United Nations General assembly tomorrow, where the wars in Iran and Ukraine will take center stage. Later hosting Chinese President Xi Jinping at the White House for a state visit amid growing concerns about AI competition.
President Trump: We're going to have some pretty important meetings.
Speaker D: Three major news outlets won't be covering it all from inside the White House after President Trump banned CNN, MSNow, and Politico over coverage he doesn't approve of, calling it purposely negative.
President Trump: A very simple ban.
Speaker E: I don't want him in my office.
Speaker D: Many legal experts predict the ban won't stand up. Challenges over the First Amendment.
Sandy Rios: Okay, so aren't you glad we have a president that gets a few things done? He is amazing, man. And of course, the one thing he just got done was banning MSNBC and Politico and cnn from the, from the White House briefing room. So, we've seen this, play before. We've seen this before. And we're going to go back in time and kind of tell you about that. That's one of the things we're going to be doing today. We're also going to, going to be talking about the latest stuff on the investigations in South Florida of Jon Brennan, James, I don't know if James Clapper, James Comey, Peter Strzok, and Lisa Page. So it's a pretty interesting thing making its way to the public and bubbling up from the Justice Department. We'll talk about that. But first, life is so precious. You know, Remember in Deuteronomy 30, where it says, above all, choose life. Choose life.
The Sanctity of Life and the Role of Preborn Ministry in Offering Alternatives to Abortion
Choose life. And that's where we stand. Christians, believe in life at both ends of the spectrum, from birth to death, from the elderly to the newborn. We believe that they have the right to life. And of course, our preamble to the Constitution guarantees that right. And that comes from scripture because our founding fathers were so steeped in it. But for some reason, this world is just speaking, of twisting. They're twisting the whole notion. They've made abortion honorable. They even have this thing where they brag about their abortions. They tell the details. young girls especially have been so Bent, to wanting freedom and their way. and so the selfishness has actually caused them, I think, to move to a place of acceptance, of killing their own children. ladies and gentlemen, we have a lot of work to do, but there is something in place that will help those girls to make a better choice. It's very effective. It's called preborn. they simply bring them in when the girls come voluntarily, and they show them a 40 ultrasound of their babies. And like magic, or maybe by God's divine spirit, when they see the baby moving in the womb, they just can't bring themselves to terminate it. And that's probably, that's true of about 70 or 80% of them. It's amazing. And so preborn provides those ultrasounds that are like $28 for one. those of you who've been listening for a while are accustomed to that. Many of you have been giving generously, but some of you may be new listeners, and we would just invite you to go to preborn.com sandy that's preborn.com sandy and help us save these babies and really, in the process, save their moms from a lot of grief and a lot of sorrow and regret in their future years. So that's preborn.com Sandy. Well, today I told you, we have a bucket load of things to talk about, so I hope you'll stay tuned on this edition of Sandy Rios, 24 7, from American Family Radio, Sandy Rios.
Media Confrontation: Trump's White House Media Ban and Obama's Past Actions Towards Fox News
We are not called to be nice. We are often called to be confrontational.
Sandy Rios: And here with me in D.C. is
Speaker F: Fox News contributor Sandy Rios.
Sandy Rios: I think the most important thing we need to demonstrate to our children is genuineness, that we actually believe what we say we believe.
Speaker G: Our longtime Fox News contributor, Sandy Rios.
Speaker E: Thanks very much for being with us.
Sandy Rios: Seek justice. Not social justice, but God's justice, what's right and what's wrong.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): Sandy Rios is with the American Family
Speaker E: Association, a pro life radio talk show host.
Sandy Rios: We've got to say this is the line. Life is sacred.
Sandy Rios: Director of Governmental affairs for the American Family Association.
Speaker H: Step up.
Sandy Rios: Speak up. Say something. Do something. All right, Sandy Rios with you on Sandy Rios, 24 7. I'm the first voice you're going to hear today instead of a clip, but we just played at the beginning of the show, the fact that President Trump has banned Politico and CNN and one other outlet, msnow, from the White House briefings. And of course, you must know that when you watch them, how rude they are to the president, how they shout, how they accuse, you know, they're supposed to be there to ask questions, not to stir up trouble or dissension. they may disagree, but it used to be, you know, a very serious news back and forth or questions about what the administration's doing. It had challenges, but it was not like this. And so President Trump has just had enough. Well, it's interesting that Barack Obama has chimed in, chimed in about how he feels about President Trump doing that. And so let's listen clips. Oh, it'll be funneled by, a counterclip going back in time. Clip six Here we go.
Barack Obama: The nation could not foresee some of the stuff that's going on right now. I believe there was just an announcement that the White House decided, you know what, CNN, MSN, MS, now, maybe the new York Times would include it. You just can't come to the White House press briefings anymore because you give the current president unfavorable coverage. I'm trying to think what would have happened if I had said, you know what, Fox News, you're out of here. It's unimaginable.
Speaker G: Hearing on ABC News last Sunday, presidential adviser David Acker Axelrod argued Fox News is not a real news organization.
Speaker E: And the bigger thing is that, other news organizations like yours, ought not to treat them that way.
Speaker G: And today, the White House took its first concrete step in that direction. The administration contacted the White House pool, a 5 network rotation that has for decades shared the cost and duties of daily coverage of the presidency and to which Fox News has belonged since 1997 and made available for round robin interviews. The executive pay czar, Ken Feinberg.
Obama Administration's Media Exclusions and Criticisms of Fox News's Reporting
But the administration specified that all members of the pool were welcome except Fox News. Asked earlier this week if the Obama administration wants to see Fox News kicked out of the White House pool, press secretary Robert Gibbs said he would not delineate for the news media a decision that belonged to them, adding, and I quote, that's not my job.
Sandy Rios: A few moments later because we're getting
Sandy Rios: word of brand new documents from a public interest watchdog group about the Obama administration's handling of the media. Emails obtained by Judicial Watch suggest the White House deliberately excluded Fox News from interviews meant to inform the American public.
Sandy Rios: Okay, so that's, Barack Obama. I mean, the, let me just bring Bruce into this because Bruce is sitting here next to me. my husband Bruce, former FBI agent, former prosecutor at Cook county in Chicago. Bruce, that is such, the way he sits on the stage and laughs and blatantly says what If I did what? If I'd done that to Fox when I was president. He making jokes and laughing and he actually did that. And he must think we've forgotten.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): Good morning.
Sandy Rios: And good morning, honey.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): For one thing, for one time, thank goodness for the Internet because Obama cannot run away from what he did back in 2009. And it's really ironic, I think, while he was talking at Colgate University the other day, that he used the term, excluding Fox News would be unimaginable, really. then you go to the Internet and you look it up and certainly There it is, 2009. And, and it was for the exact same reason that Donald Trump is being accused of, excluding Politico, CNN and Ms. Now that it's not a news organization. He was saying Fox News is not a real news organization.
Sandy Rios: That's what Obama was saying.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): Obama, they'd been in business for years and he also said that they're not fair to him, so therefore he had the right to exclude them.
Sandy Rios: And he's just laughing about how president. Yeah, he didn't want them in there because they were not agreeing with him. What did he say? Some silly thing like that and laughs. What a fool. I'm sorry. My mom would say I shouldn't say that.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): Well, he really is. And he is the consummate liar because he knows exactly what he did to fox back in 2009. And now he's sitting here on this stage like the, the victim. I would never do anything like that.
Sandy Rios: Yeah. And he laughs about what. And Bruce, let me add this one clip. Other clip because James Rosen, who was one of the best reporters Fox had. I love James. Now he's at, Newsmax and he still continues to do. He's so professional and you know, what he's telling is the truth. It's just amazing.
Investigating Obama Administration's Actions Against Journalists and Seizure of AP Phone Records
But they not only went after Fox, they went after James Rosen. And so I think we should listen to this clip. It's well worth listening to. This is what happened under Barack Obama regarding Fox News clip 11 court documents
Sandy Rios: released this week show the Obama administration secretly monitored a Washington journalist in seeking a search warrant. The FBI called James Rosen a criminal co conspirator, even though he is in charge with any crime. Jan Crawford is at the Justice Department. Jan, good morning.
Speaker H: Well, good morning, Nora. Good morning, Charlie. You know, I mean, these revelations have really just set up a firestorm of criticism from the left and the right. For the first time ever, a presidential administration is treating news reporting like a crime and a reporter like a criminal.
Speaker G: Suspect I will always honor the confidentiality of my dealings with all of my sources.
Speaker H: Fox News reporter James Rosen vowed Wednesday night to protect his source for a scoop he got back in 2009, reporting then that North Korea would respond to sanctions with more nuclear tests. But the information was classified, and the FBI launched an investigation to uncover Rosen's source that quickly focused on Rosen himself. The level of government surveillance over a reporter was unprecedented. Agents monitored Rosen's movements in and out of the State Department. They searched his personal emails and combed through his cell phone records. White House Press secretary Jay Carney has deflected questions on the case.
Speaker G: The subpoena says James Rosen is a potential criminal because he's a reporter. Is the White House comfortable with that standard? Never before seen in a leak investigation,
Speaker E: but it's part of an ongoing criminal investigation, Major, and I simply can't comment on it.
Speaker H: But the investigation into Rosen has sparked a rare thing in Washington. Bipartisan outrage over what some are calling Obama's war on journalism. Just last week, the Justice Department came under fire for seizing two months of phone records from m. The Associated Press action the president defended on national security grounds.
Barack Obama: I don't think the American people would expect me, as commander in chief, not to be concerned about information that might compromise their missions or might get them killed.
Speaker H: Critics say the administration has gone to too far and that the Rosen investigation is more an effort to control information that's available to the public.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): You couldn't claim with a straight face that disclosing whatever he disclosed in that story threatened the national security of the United States.
Sandy Rios: All right, so I think we should go back.
First Amendment Rights and Media Access: The Debate Over White House Briefing Room Seating
now, remember, we're talking about. President Trump has banned msnbc, Politico, and CNN from the White House briefing room. And in fact, Bruce, before I play this clip, do you have handy what JD Vance said about that? I know you've got a lot of things in front of you.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): Yes. yeah.
Sandy Rios: How did he explain what President Trump
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): was trying to do the other day? He was asked about. Vance was asked about Trump's quote, unquote ban on CNN, Politico, and msNow. And the way he explained it is, look, the First Amendment grants these news organizations, the ability to have a free press, but it does not grant them special access. In other words, these seats to the White House briefing are limited. And all kinds of people want those seats because the media has exploded. Now, there's all kinds of outlets, and really, it is a, it's special access because it's limited, but it's not guaranteed to people. So the news organizations are suing, and they're arguing that this exclusion from seats in the White House briefing is based on the content of their reporting and that that violates the First Amendment. And the administration's response is, we're not doing anything. We're not excluding you from, putting out any kind of content you want. We're just not giving you a seat in the White House. And here's what JD Vance had to say. He said, the problem with a few of these media outlets, I wouldn't even say it's most, but some of the bigger media outlets is they're not really news organizations. If you're going to be a propaganda arm of the left, why would Donald Trump give you special access to his White House? And again, he's saying, we're not stopping CNN or these other outlets from doing any kind of reporting. We're just not going to have them in the White House. You've seen their behavior. you know, take Kaitlan Collins from cnn. She constantly interrupts the president. She's disrespectful from him. You know, President Trump, my goodness, he grants access to these reporters almost daily.
Sandy Rios: Well, she has his phone number. Remember, they talked about that. They talk.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): She can call him on his cell phone and he'll actually pick up and speak with her. if you remember, Joe Biden went a year and a half at one point between news conferences, and nobody said anything about that. And, again, just to finish off on Vance, he said, we want every bias and every perspective to be present. But there are limited spaces when you go there. There are only so many places. You have to choose some standard for how you dole out those seats.
Sandy Rios: Well, this reminds me that at the beginning of this, this term for President Trump, they started inviting other media in, like the conservative media, conservative independent outlets that were not the major networks. And it's the first time that this had ever happened. And, it was really very refreshing.
Critiques of Media Reporting and the Allegations of a Conspiracy Against Donald Trump
So they're getting a seat at the table now, and that's at the expense, I guess, of these other outlets. So, so that's the way it is. And you know, this has real repercussions, Bruce, because, because they don't. They're adversarial and not for a good purpose. It's not like they disagree on the issues and they have to get the, their point of view, which is the right point of view, from their, their perspective. It isn't that. It's that they look for anything to Destroy and tear down and interrupt. It's a obstruction, it's an interruption. And so that's. That's not news. And the reason, that we are in, one of the big reasons why we're in the mess that we're in as a country is because we've had terrible news reporting. President Trump brought that to our attention in the first. The first time he ran the fake news. And he's right about that. He's right about that. We caught them so many times lying or again, as I tell you, omitting information. And so that's. There are a lot of things that people don't know. I try my best to fill in the blanks for you. but President Trump, as we did what a couple of weeks ago, the 25 things that he's accomplished, and of course there's probably 2,500 things he's accomplished in this year and a half, almost two years. but because people are not hearing about all these things like that agreement with Greenland, they're signing, if they've already signed it, I think. and, he got exactly what he wanted. We have access to there. We're going to be providing security for them and, return. The Chinese don't have access to Greenland and to the waters outside of it, which are very volatile because, there's. That's a passageway where the Chinese, are, you know, trolling and getting closer to us. And that's why President Trump wanted Greenland, because it was creating. It gave access to our enemies, to us. And so that's over. That's over. He actually did it. Have you heard that talked about? Have you heard it heralded? I, I doubt it. I don't think a lot of you probably have. So anyway, but let's move to something else, because as a result of, the lying in the press and the omissions in the press, we went through one of the worst times in our nation. you know, Benedict Arnold was shocking to our revolutionary forces, to President, Washington, who was so shocked and hurt that he, actually became a spy and turned against, the country and cooperated with the British and gave them information and tried to take over West Point and all of that. That was shocking. But we just witnessed a, whole group, it's not over yet. I would say a whole group of people trying to undermine. And really, I don't think some of them were trying to destroy the country. I think they want to take power. And one of them was Jon Brennan, who was the CIA director under President Obama. So we're going to talk about that a little bit. And as a matter of fact, maybe this will set the stage. let's do clip three, that type
Speaker E: of investigation and trying to uncover what Russia is doing. These are the statutory authorities of the CIA and the FBI. We were carrying out our responsibilities because we saw that the Russians were trying to influence the outcome of that election. And so we did what we needed to do. We also didn't let any of that information out before the election. I mean, if I really wanted to undermine Donald Trump, we would have just
Sandy Rios: did a terrible job.
Speaker E: We would. Yeah, we would. We could have leaked that information, but we held it so tightly because we didn't want to do anything that could, in fact, ultimately interfere in that election. So, again, you know, it just seems like Donald Trump is unrelenting as far as, you know, holding a grudge against me, against Jim Comey.
Sandy Rios: What's the grudge against you about?
Sandy Rios: What do they.
Sandy Rios: What is the subpoena for?
Speaker E: Well, the subpoena is to give testimony in Florida next month on, this grand conspiracy. This supposedly, you know, covers the last 10 years that claims that I and my co conspirators, including Barack Obama and other people, conspired to deprive Donald Trump of his civil rights. Now, I think back over the last 10 years, he's been elected president twice. He has increased his personal wealth many times over. He has done so much. But yet he believes that the Mar A Lago raid and other types of things are all part of this grand, constant conspiracy. So my lawyers are handling this. As you pointed out, Joe Digenova, you know, resigned, the day after these subpoenas were issued. Who knows what the story is there? other prosecutors have either been pushed aside or resigned because there's no evidence there. They're just trying to concoct this as a way to make a claim that Donald Trump has been subjected to this type of, you know, conspiracy.
Sandy Rios: Okay, so that was Jon Brennan with Nicole Wallace, and she's laughing. You didn't do a very, very good job, did you? This is Russiagate. And now we all know, most of us, maybe some Americans don't for the very reason I just said, but most of us paying attention know that we have all kinds of declassified documents now linking these guys to a conspiracy that started in the White House on Inaugural Day for President Trump or the.
Russiagate Conspiracy: Brennan, Comey, Obama's Alleged Involvement, and Hillary Clinton's Role
And it was just amazing. We know exactly what the contents of that conversation was. And James Comey was there, and, Barack Obama, and of course, because he was president still in those moments. But, honey, Bruce, let's talk about this. we found out that, first of all, Jon Brennan is one of the best liars in the country. I think that's true, but not a very good one, I don't think.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): Well, m. Let me just go back to his statement. when they were laughing about, oh, we had all this evidence and we held it back. If we'd have been doing our job, we would have released it. The problem with them saying that is they did not have evidence that they're talking about. They were trying to find that evidence, and they never found that Donald Trump had any connection to Russia or had anything to do with trying to fix the election. So there's their problem.
Sandy Rios: Yeah. And you know what? That whole story was concocted by Hillary Clinton. She's the one who, as she did with, you know, with, all of these scandals, that happened in the Clinton administration way back the. The. The travel gate where she made up stories about the guy who'd had run the travel office for years because she wanted to get rid of him and bring, someone in. So he was charged with some kind of misbehavior, or it was worse than that. Charged with crimes. This is what she always does. She papers, end up in the trunk of somebody's car that couldn't be found earlier. I mean, it's. She is her. Her lies are not very clever, but they still work.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): Think about it, Sandy. The animus of Jon Brennan and some of these people, like, James Comey, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, we've seen it in their own text messages, how much they hate the president. Can you imagine if they had actually accumulated evidence prior to the election that Donald Trump was a Russian asset, that they would not have released that, there is no way they would have held that back. I'm telling you, the reason was that they did not have any evidence that Donald Trump was cooperating with the Russians,
Sandy Rios: all based on a fake dossier. They all knew that it was all. It was a big game. It's like a movie, like a spy movie. I mean, you couldn't make this stuff up. And so now I think we all have a pretty good idea that, you know, President Trump loves this country. He's not going to work with the Russians to destroy our elections. That just defies logic.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): So, you know, Hillary, when she was Secretary of State, had already gone over to Russia and proved what a fool she was when she had that restart button and all that oh, you better
Sandy Rios: explain that, because people are too young to know that.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): If you recall, when she was Secretary of State under President Obama, she went over to Russia and she thought that we needed a resetting or a new start of relations with the Russians. And she took up button that you
Sandy Rios: could push like a toy.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): It was like a toy. And, and she brought it out in front of them and said, let's restart our relationship and push the button. And you can see the Russians are looking at her like, you're a fool. You're, you're, you know, you think they didn't understand how she was underestimating them at that point? We want to restart our relations with you. Why would we want to do that? They were our number one enemy at that time. And, so, I mean, if there was any, motivation for the Chinese to be involved in that election between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, it was to push Hillary Clinton to be the president because they knew they could handle her.
Obama's Interactions with Russia and John Brennan's Company's Passport File Breach
They didn't know if they could handle President Trump.
Sandy Rios: You know, remember when President Obama met with the Russian, he was president then, and he met with a Russian envoy. I can't remember what his position was, nor his name in this moment, but they were caught. Obama was caught on a mic saying, just hang on, because things will be different when I'm president.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): Right. They were waiting for the second election.
Sandy Rios: Right, right.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): And he basically told the Russian ambassador, once the election's over, then we can really, things will be different. Things will be different. We can start cooperating, things like that. It was very obvious. And again, it was. They didn't know they were being recorded. The microphone was left on inadvertently. So that's the truth. I mean, he's speaking the truth to him.
Sandy Rios: All right, before we leave that topic, because it's so comprehensive, and we can't really give you a comprehensive background on all that happened with Russiagate, but there's some kind of little bit new information, at least for me this morning. there's a reporter for, One America News named Chanel Rhyen who has been following the Jon Brennan story and the Russiagate for a lot of. Lot of years. And she just did a report that was, pretty stunning. And so I think we should listen to it, Bruce and I. I'd love to hear your comments as she goes along here. Here's how she sets it up. This is clip four.
Speaker F: Here's a story time forgot. Remember when Jon Brennan, Obama's CIA director, the mastermind of the Russiagate Hoax to get Trump. Remember when Jon Brennan's security company was caught messing with Obama's passport files at the State Department months before the general election? And a lieutenant cooperating with federal investigators about passport fraud at the State Department was shot dead in his car one month later. And then a few years later, after an appropriate amount of time passes. So we could forget this, Obama announced Jon Brennan as a CIA director. Do you remember this story? I do.
Sandy Rios: All right, so she kind of sets it up, but, let's go on, Bruce, because she, then gets into the details of this. So this is for a. Let's listen.
Speaker F: Let me take you back to March 2008.
The Analysis Corporation, John Brennan, and the Passport File Breach Controversy
The State Department reported, quote, unauthorized access to passport files of then candidate Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Jon McCain. The breach involved three contract employees who accessed sensitive records, including names, dates of birth, and passport numbers. The State Department panicked and quickly explained the incidents were merely the results of imprudent curiosity. They didn't want you to know that one of the file burglars who breached the station department for Obama's passport worked for a security company named the Analysis Corporation, known as Tech. The CEO of Tech, none other than Jon O. Brennan. These details came out, but the State Department and the media quickly swept it under the rug.
Sandy Rios: Okay, so, Bruce, unpack that for us. So. Because it gets a little bit confusing.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): Well, Jon Brennan was in private, industry at that time. He owned a company called the Analysis Corporation. They're an investigative firm. And three of their employees hacked into the passport, arm of the State Department and were looking at the passport applications and information of several people, one of them being Barack Obama. And let's go back. Remember all the controversy over whether or not Obama was actually a United States citizen, Where was he born? How did he have a passport with a Connecticut, or, excuse me, a Social Security number with a Connecticut. it corresponded to being issued in Connecticut when he had never lived there. All these questions where, you know, Obama claiming he had attended certain universities, and, upon investigation, there was. There were no records of him ever being in these universities. So there was there. There were a lot of questions about Obama's citizenship, because if he was not a United States citizen, that would have eliminated him from being a candidate for president. And so it just so happens that Jon Brennan's company is the one that hacks into the passport information of Obama, and we don't know whether they altered it. Were they trying to, Were they trying to put, evidence in there that he actually was a US Citizen? Were they trying to remove evidence in there that maybe he wasn't a US Citizen, we don't know. So the Department of State launches, an inspector general investigation. Well, how many times have we seen recently, these inspector generals really are just pawns of their agencies. So think of it. Hillary Clinton, or, excuse me, Barack Obama's in charge of the State Department at that time. So basically it's the fox investigating the,
Sandy Rios: Hen house.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): Hen house. it, they, they come to the conclusion that these three people that hacked into this information were, they were just improper, imprudently curious. and so that's the finding. So that's the finding. Now let me tell you, anybody who works for the government and is in, has access to classified information knows that when you start talking about information of this type, there are triggers that go off if somebody accesses this type of information. Here he is presidential candidate, and his information is being, accessed. I submit that Jon Brennan was doing Obama's bidding, checking on his passport, information, and that these three employees that were disciplined, they were merely sacrificial lambs. they had to know going into this that there was a good chance they were going to be found out. And I have no doubt that Brennan probably took care of them, said, you know, you take the fall for me and I'll, you know, everything will be fine for my company. And then conveniently much after just a short time later, Brennan is then appointed the CIA director for Obama.
Sandy Rios: We'll get to that. what about the guy that was killed, though? I didn't understand that. Yeah, I mean, that's an inference. It's not, it's not like a proven thing in court. But what are they in for? He was cooperating.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): Yeah, well, what happened is there was a Marine lieutenant who was involved with taking, information on, citizens. And he was involved through the department, of State. And they were involved in a credit card, and theft of identity ring. And he was stopped for a traffic violation. And inside his car, the police found all these credit cards and passport information that didn't correspond to him. Obviously it was stolen. They pressed him and the lieutenant agreed to cooperate and basically give up the ring that was stealing these identities through accessing passport information. And they were getting very close to Jon Brennan's company, in the testimony. And one month after he started this lieutenant started cooperating with the, the government, he was shot dead in his car in Washington D.C. and the crime of course, was never solved.
Sandy Rios: Yeah, so he silenced okay, well, so the whole notion or idea of, Barack Obama's citizenship was huge. I remember talking about that so much when I was on air in Chicago. But there's actually even more to this. And so Chanel Rhyen takes us to the next step.
Obama's Origins, Pakistan Travel, and John Brennan's Alleged Conversion to Islam
This would be clip 1B.
Speaker F: It gets better. Don't laugh. But at this exact time, Jon Brennan was an advisor to the Obama campaign. So the advisor to the Obama campaign, right around the time, everyone was asking about Obama's mysterious origins, has an employee breaking into the State Department and accessing Obama's password files. So what was Taq doing sneaking around and messing with Obama's passport? Removing evidence of what? Was it the fact that Obama was in and out of the Pakistan at the exact time period that Jon Brennan was in Pakistan working for the CIA. The documentation on that is pretty compelling. You see, no one seemed to remember where Obama was from 1981 to 1982. Obama claims he was at Columbia University, but we do not have a shred of confirmed real evidence that he was. No records, no school documentation. And get this. Shortly after the State Department breach, Obama had to admit that he did, in fact travel to Pakistan in 1981, astute observers noticed that not only was Jon Brennan working for the CIA in Pakistan, but another CIA name. Brzezinski. That's right. Mika Brzezinski's dad. He was there, too. 26 years after Obama seems to have been in Pakistan at the same time Brzezinski and Brennan were. Obama nominates both of these men to be on his presidential campaign advisory team, as our, friends at conservative Treehouse point out. What are the odds? Adding to the intrigue, a key witness in a related federal probe, Lieutenant Quarles Harris Jr. Was fatally shot in his car in Washington. Washington, D.C. one month after this story broke. Harris had been cooperating with investigators regarding passport information and fraud allegedly obtained from a State Department co conspirator. His murder remains unsolved. to this day. No direct link has been established, but the timing and the topic has raised questions, to put it mildly. Brennan, after being caught in the scandal of breaking into the State Department and messing with Obama's passport files, is duly rewarded. Remember, Brennan becomes Obama's CIA chief. To use Obama's exact words. Brennan had Obama's complete trust. The rest is history. I've been on this Brennan track a, long time. For a while, it felt like there were just a handful of us who knew the ramifications of this story, if fully unfurled. We were of course punished for covering such stories over the years. Here at OAN, we're Exhibit 1. We told the truth. We were over the target. And powerful people used every kill switch in the book to discredit us. But we were right. And we knew it from the very beginning. And if you listened, you also knew.
Sandy Rios: Okay, so again, that's Chanel Rhyen from oan. And you know what? They really did come after Oan. They, they actually persuaded cable channels to drop them, and they did. The only way you can watch OAN is, you know, on the Internet. So, she's exactly right about that. I want to make one statement here, Bruce, before you comment on this. In the issue of, Barack Obama not being at Columbia University, or evidently not be he claimed he was. It was in his resume. I interviewed Wayne Allen Root. Wayne Allen Root is a very famous. I don't know, I think he's on tele. I can't even remember what he did, but he was a very well known writer, commentator, and, he was my guest. And he was at Columbia at this exact time studying the exact same thing that Barack Obama had listed as his, course of study. And he said he never saw him once in any class. He never saw him on campus, he never saw him. And that was a great mystery. And now maybe the big mystery has been solved. Bruce. But so what is the implication of going to Pakistan and having, What? Bezeb. I can't remember his first name. Brzezinski.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): Biganu.
Speaker F: Okay.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): A better man than I am from Chicago. I know these Polish names. Bigany, Brzezinski.
Sandy Rios: Anyway, he was the, Wasn't he the national security advisor to Jimmy Carter? Something like that, yes. And, always felt uncomfortable with him. I have to tell you. He just. I, think he's Russian, Bruce.
The Plot to Undermine the Presidency: Brennan, Strzok, Page, Comey, and Obama's Document Alteration
So, anyway. So what's the implication here? Well, I'll tell you a couple of things that I, have knowledge of. This is not something that's public knowledge, but I heard this from someone who was, serving in Pakistan at that same time. And he told me that, Jon Brennan converted to Islam while he was in Pakistan. And it made me think of that when the clip said that Obama had the highest trust in Jon Brennan. It's just all very interesting. I don't know about the rest of it. Who knows what they talked about, but they obviously concocted a story. And Barack Obama had it on his resume that he was at Columbia University during that time. So whatever it was, you know, they were up to no good. So now we come back to what's happening in South Florida right now, which is a convening of a, of a grand jury. and so Bruce, tell us about that kind of what the idea is here and what's going on.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): Well, that's what many people refer to as the investigation of the grand conspiracy. And what they're doing is they've been paneled, the government's impaneled the grand jury to gather information, and it's regarding what's been the, what I would call the plot to undermine the presidency of Donald Trump ever since he arrived in his first term. And Jon Brennan is being, subpoenaed. He has been subpoenaed to testify in front of that committee in October. In, in addition to him, here's some names from the past. Peter, Strzok, Lisa Page, and James Comey have also all been subpoenaed to testify before this committee. And they've identified Brennan not just as a witness, but as a target. And if you remember, this whole thing goes back to, I think it was the day actually, or that just the days before Donald Trump was inaugurated. The first time, there was a meeting in the, in the office of President Obama. And actually it was about two weeks before I think the inauguration. And there had been a, it was called the 2016 Intelligence Community Assessment, and it's an assessment of all the threats across the world. And in there there was language that basically showed that Donald Trump had not been found to be a threat, through his connections, alleged connections to Russia. And President Obama himself ordered that this document be changed to reflect a different view of Trump's potential involvement with Russia. And these people that were there were aware that this document was being changed. Susan Rice was there.
Sandy Rios: That's right.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): Joe Biden was there. The President was there, Brennan was there, James Comey was there. All these people out of the intelligence community and out of Obama's staff were present and witnessed Obama having them change the threat, the threat that was posed by Donald Trump.
Sandy Rios: Okay, so now we have this perfect, storm in a positive way. Judge Eileen Cannon, who has been a very, she was appointed by President Trump and she's been a very even handed judge. She was the one who I think ruled on that Mar A Lago case. And so, she's now the judge presiding over this investigation. And Joe, de Genova, who's actually a longtime friend of mine, was put in charge of the investigation. Now Joe just stepped down, what, two weeks ago maybe. Not quite. Maybe 10 days. And I, I don't have inside information about why that happened. I, I have some ideas. but it is going on. Trust me, it's going on. There's some very good attorneys who are taking up the mantle. And, Joe is not. I, don't think he's angry at anyone. And he's all. And he's still cheerleading them. He still has all the knowledge that he has all the information he's, gained. And so, these are things you can see publicly. These are not things I know privately, just to be sure that you know that. So, it's going to go on. It's going to go on. And so I know some people feel like there'll never be justice.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): Well. And Brennan is trying to use the, resignation of Joe digenova to prove that this was a witch hunt against Brennan.
Sandy Rios: Yeah. That they don't have evidence.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): And, because, when Joe stepped down, he made a comment about you've got to have evidence to indict someone. But the additional part of that comment was, he said, I think we have enough evidence to bring all of these prosecutions to fruition, but we just need more time. And he, he stepped down because he felt he was being pressured by people from the Department of Justice to indict people before the cases were actually fully investigated. It had nothing to do with whether or not there's actual evidence against these people. So, of course, Brennan and his attorneys are seizing on this, that Joe DiGenova knew there was. He's saying that Joe DiGenova knew there WAS no case against Brennan and that's why he stepped down. And that is not accident.
Sandy Rios: No, no. Okay, so we'll all be watching to see what happens under the, oversight of, Judge Eileen Cannon. Well, honey, I think we've reached our. This is good, because we talked about how the, media is so corrupt, and as a result of that, they were able to cover up.
Media Corruption, Conspiracy Cover-ups, and Preborn Ministry's Life-Saving Mission
The media, helped them cover up all of this nonsense, this conspiracy, to take down President Trump. And that's still going on, by the way. but at least this part of it, there may be some justice soon for us in South Florida. Well, thank you for, listening. And, honey, thank you for joining me today. Thank you.
Bruce (Sandy Rios' husband): I was glad to, I, I'm glad President Trump is standing up for the truth. Just, think of the people that have, have, tried to bait him over the years. Jim Acosta, Caitlin Collins. I mean, all these people that do nothing but make up lies and then the president has to spend his time rebutting them. And I'm glad to see him stand up to these people.
Sandy Rios: And these lies result in the American people not knowing what's really true. That's what we're trying to counter. Well, all right. I want to remind you that PreBorn is our sponsor and they are in the business of saving the lives of babies very effectively by showing those moms who are uncertain a 4D ultrasound of their little one. And it's very, very effective. A redemptive, beautiful way of saving lives. And that means the moms too, because they also talk about the gospel of Jesus Christ, forgiveness, a brand new start. Ah, so the girls also hear about that. So, ah, it's a wonderfully redemptive organization. That's why I love them and that's why they support my show. Freeboard.com Sandy It's $28 for one ultrasound. Preborn.com Sandy well, thank you so much for listening to today's edition of Sandy Rios 24 7. Sam.
