In clear demonstration of the increased hostility to the name of Jesus during an episode of ABC’s daytime talk show “The View,” the name of Jesus was muted as if it were an expletive.

The hosts were discussing a British study that showed many of the U.K.’s church attenders wanted to ignore the 4 of the 10 commandments… I’m sure you can imagine which ones.

Spirituality is welcomed in modern times, even celebrated, but Jesus is the line of demarcation.

Top lawyers from Facebook and Twitter were summoned to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee to get to the bottom of Russian-linked posts and advertisements made to persuade Americans.

Facebook General Counsel Colin Stretch told the Committee the Russians generated content after the November 8th election to “foment discord about the validity of” President Trump’s election.

Instead of helping him, the Russians actually worked to sow doubt in American minds about the President’s victory. 

Talking snake media and truth telling are mutually exclusive.

America has a long history of giving thanks to the LORD as a nation.  In 1789 George Washington, President of the young American nation which had only a few years earlier emerged from the American Revolution, called an official celebratory “Day of thanksgiving and prayer.”

When we consider all that has transpired in our personal lives, in our families, and in our nation there is only one appropriate response.

Let praise to our God flow from our lips as we gather with our families and give thanks.

In 2013 Texas State Senator Wendy Davis gained national attention for a filibuster she began to thwart a bill that would increase abortion restrictions in Texas.

She was celebrated ad nauseam by the Regressives and baby murder proponents.

Davis used her newfound fame to run for governor against Republican Greg Abbott in 2014, but lost by a wide margin.

Now, Sandra Bullock has agreed to portray Wendy Davis in a film that dramatizes her filibuster and hails her as a modern feminist hero and icon.

Good news: the U.S. backed coalition is beating the stuffing out of ISIS.  They’ve retaken Mosul and nearly all of Raaqa in Syria.

Bad news: the ISIS defeat has created yet another power vacuum where Sunni and Shiite Muslim are once again openly vying for Middle East dominance.

Saudi Arabia, Iran and Turkey all want to run the Muslim world.

The theater has moved to Lebanon and it possibly implicates the U.S. and Russia should war break out.  Keep your eyes on the Middle East.

Target has announced that it is closing 12 stores.  In the announcement they said they “typically close stores as a result of seeing several years of decreasing profitability.”

Stores will close in Michigan, Kansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Texas and Target’s home state—Minnesota.

Yet, the say these store closings are a “move toward growth.”

Okay.  If you wanna stick to that line be my guest.  But your stance has led you to this point, where things aren’t going well for you.

We live in a day when churches are filled with people ready to hear and receive God’s mercy. Unfortunately, however, it is often accompanied by a de-emphasis or concealment of the truth of God’s Word.

Paul, the salvation-by-grace-through-faith Apostle, was asked if salvation is solely a product of grace what benefit then does the law provide. Paul responded, “Without the law, I wouldn’t have known God’s righteous standard and how far away from it I was.”

Any presentation of God’s mercy absent of God’s truth is no Gospel at all. 

Iniquity is purged by mercy and truth.

In a hearing for a bill to outlaw abortion after the baby has an audibly discernible heartbeat, Democrat Representative Steve Cohen shouted at pro-life advocate Star Parker, calling her “ignorant” and accused her of not “knowing how to talk” to a Congressman.

He did so after Ms. Parker argued it was disingenuous to claim compassion for the inner city while supporting in utero genocide taking place daily in the inner city.

Unable to address Ms. Parker’s argument on the merits Representative Cohen revealed his heart by name calling.

Former professional women’s basketball player and college basketball star Camille LeNoir thought she landed her dream job as an assistant women’s basketball coach at New Mexico State University.

That was until she received a call saying the job offer she’d just accepted was now revoked.

Why was the offer revoked?  Because Camille was a Christian and video surfaced where she renounced her former life of lesbianism.

She’s since sued the University in federal court for religious and heterosexuality discrimination.

There isn’t much tolerance for Christian former homosexuals.

After pressure was applied to Mitch McConnell from conservatives across the country, the United States Senate confirmed 4 of President Trump’s judicial nominees in one week.

This move is historical.  It continues the fulfillment of the campaign promise made by President Trump to appoint Constitutional Conservatives to the bench.

Amy Coney Barrett, Joan Larson, Allison Eid and Stephanos Bibas are all now appellate court Judges in the federal court system.

This proves that Mitch moves when pressure is applied.
