“Also take with you every sort of food that is eaten, and store it up. It shall serve as food for you and for them.” Proverbs 18:17
God gave this instruction to Noah as he prepared to board the ark.
In addition to the specific dimensions of the boat, God also gave Noah instructions for food provisions.
Noah, his family, and the animals remained on the ark for an entire year. But God’s plan for them included space to accommodate animal growth for the various animal kinds all the way to the necessary food, for an entire year.
If God employed such forethought in providing for salvation from the flood just think what He has in store for our eternal salvation.
“May the LORD cut off all flattering lips, the tongue that makes great boasts” Psalm 12:3 (ESV).
After fighting nearly 9 months, Iraq’s U.S.-backed forces were able to smash ISIS in Mosul and re-take the Iraqi city.
The former defacto capital of the so-called ISIS caliphate has now been re-captured by U.S. backed forces.
Can you imagine how wide-spread celebration of this news would boost the hearts and minds of the American people and our allies around the world?
The talking snake American media is so determined to attack President Trump that they’ll bury real news to do it.
“See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit…” Colossians 2:8a (ESV).
A proposal to ban the Pentagon from paying for Transgender Sex-Reassignment Surgeries and transition treatment was shot down in the House of Representatives… by Republicans.
24 Republicans joined a unanimous Democrat Caucus to defeat the measure in a close 209 - 214 vote.
One thing that has become abundantly clear with this current political cycle is that the Swamp includes Democrats and Republicans.
What used to be “D’s” vs. “R’s” has become Constitutionalist Patriots vs. Regressive Globalists, regardless of party affiliation.
“But Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them…” Matthew 19:14a (ESV).
The state where assisted suicide has been legal for two decades and the state that first legalized abortion in 1969, years before Roe v. Wade, has made another move to cement its spot as the unmatched leader in the dystopian culture of death.
Oregon has passed a law to force insurers to cover 100% of abortion costs, regardless of medical necessity.
That means abortion there is now totally free.
It's either covered by one’s insurance or by the state through the Oregon Health Authority.
Congratulations Oregon.
“Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known” Jeremiah 33:3 (ESV).
The Democrats “Great Freshman Hope,” Senator Kamala Harris is heading to the Hamptons to meet with Hillary Clinton’s biggest backers.
The California Senator is being vetted in Bridgehampton with Clinton’s top bundlers and donors.
Harris, a 52 year old former prosecutor and San Francisco District Attorney who went on to become CA’s Attorney General, gained popularity for grilling Attorney General Jeff Sessions and for opposing 18 of President Trump’s 22 administration nominees.
Is she the 2020 Democrat Presidential pick?
“While evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived” 2 Timothy 3:13 (ESV).
When you think teen magazines, people usually think of some combination of lip gloss, fashion trends and boy bands.
Well, those days are over.
Teen Vogue, in their sick, debauched minds, made the decision to publish a sodomy “how-to” guide” aimed at 11 to 17 year olds.
Instead of warning kids about the danger and health risks, they romanticize it and teach the kids how to do it. It’s clear that sexual deviancy proponents are determined to corrupt our children.
“You shall have no other gods before me.” Exodus 20:3 (ESV).
In a speech at the annual convention of the Islamic Society of North America, activist, provocateur, sharia law proponent and organizer of the so called “Women’s March,” Linda Sarsour called for jihad against the Trump administration.
Sarsour also called for Muslims to refuse to assimilate into American society.
She said this before a group of Muslims… supposedly to have gathered “to contribute to the betterment of the Muslim community and society at large.”
And she has become a darling of the Regressives as a voice for “moderate Islam.”
Does that sound moderate to you?
“…a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.” Ecclesiastes 3:8 (ESV).
Defense Secretary James Mattis put the breaks on implementing former President Obama’s transgender madness in our military.
Representative Vicky Hartzler of MO is preparing to offer an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act that will completely kibosh this lunacy in our military.
It's good to have leadership in our country that recognizes the American military is a lethal fighting machine that exists to protect and defend our country.
It's not social petri dish that should be subjected to politically motivated experimentation.
“‘Rise and go toward the south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.’ This is a desert place.” Acts 8:26 (ESV).
Bestselling author Francis Chan explained why he left the helm of his thriving California megachurch.
Chan lamented what he saw as a lack of authentic love display where parishioners gathered on Sundays, said hi to one another for 30 seconds and left only to repeat the same process a week later.
He now leads a house church movement in San Francisco.
In these difficult times instead of “doing church” we must be the Church. Worship isn’t an activity. It's a lifestyle.
“Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.” Romans 12:15 (ESV).
NYPD Officer Miosotis Familia, a 48-year-old mother of three and 12 year veteran of the police force, was fatally shot in the head while sitting in a police vehicle in the Bronx.
She worked with the Anti-Crime unit of the 46th precinct.
All reports indicate this was an unprovoked attack and that Officer Familia was assassinated because she was a police officer.
She was shot and killed by a man who was on parole for a robbery conviction.
Will there be marches or protests for her?
“… but they became futile in their thinking.” Romans 1:21
The University of Michigan adopted a new policy allowing students to choose their preferred pronouns, including the sex-neutral “they” and “ze” to appear on class rosters.
To highlight the absolute absurdity of this policy one student listed his preferred pronoun as “your majesty” and it worked. He tweeted, “I henceforth shall be referred to as: His Majesty, Grant Strobl. I encourage all U-M students to go onto Wolverine Access and insert the identity of their dreams.”
This is hilarious and sad at the same time.
When you extend this ridiculous logic to its obvious consequences, you can see the logic’s frailty.
Facts or feelings? Which will govern?
The parting message reveals truth.
In his farewell address, George Washington said, “Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports.”
“In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness; these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens.”
No doubt President Washington had Christianity in view here. He associated it with patriotism. I believe he understood that national liberty would only thrive when there was true spiritual liberty.
As we celebrate our national independence, let us also celebrate the liberty in which Christ has made us free.
Republican Karen Handel beat John Ossoff in Georgia’s 6th Congressional District race. This has been a Republican district for the last 40 years and will stay that way at least for now.
Democrats believed this district was up for grabs so they poured in over $32 Million into the effort.
However, Democrat Rodney Stooksbury didn’t spend a penny when he lost this race to Tom Price in 2016 yet he got 124,917 votes.
Ossoff received 124,893 votes.
$32 million to get 24 less votes.
Democrats have a problem and money won’t fix it.
Project Veritas’ James O’Keefe has released video from his undercover investigation of CNN, called American Pravda, part 1.
In it, CNN Senior Producer John Bonifield reveals there is no proof of collusion between President Trump and Russia.
When he was asked why CNN is so fixated on the story, Bonifield says it ratings man.
The Trump-Russia lie has been a boom for CNN’s ratings amongst its mostly progressive audience.
Bonifield said ethics you learned in journalism school was cute, but this is business.
America suffers when journalistic integrity dies.
“Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, 'Rise and go toward the south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.' This is a desert place.” Acts 8:26
At the height of a Holy Spirit outpouring in Samaria, where the Gospel was being preached with great power and droves of people were converting to follow Christ, the LORD instructed Philip to leave Samaria and head south to Gaza.
Philip didn’t know a divine appointment awaited him.
Through his ministry to the Ethiopian Eunuch, the Gospel would spread to Africa.
He left the crowd. To serve one.
I call this step down faith. It's easy to step up for the attention and applause of the masses, but do we have step down faith?

“There were added that day about three thousand souls.” Acts 2:41
The day of Pentecost concluded with 3,000 converts being added to the initial body of 120 believers. Then, that 3,120 spent time together daily going to the temple and interacting in each other’s homes.
They devoted themselves continually to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, sharing meals and praying together.
The 3,120 that made up the early church came from Turkey, the Middle East, and Africa and included Arabs and Romans. In addition to all of this geographic and ethnic diversity they spoke different languages. They were made one family in Christ Jesus.
Scripture has the answer to the issues we face today.
“And Moses said, ‘I will turn aside to see this great sight, why the bush is not burned.’” Exodus 3:3
In the burning bush encounter scripture records that it began as Moses kept Jethro’s flock. Exodus 3:1
“When the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, "Moses, Moses!" And he said, "Here I am.” Exodus 3:4
Notice, God didn’t speak to Moses until He gave full attention to what God was trying to show him.
Diligent attention to daily duty is necessary. We must be careful, however, not to allow duty to become an idol. Are our hearts still sensitive to God? Can God still get our attention?
