When you read the David vs. Goliath account in 1 Samuel 17 you’ll notice David never once acknowledges him as giant. He only mentions him as an uncircumcised Philistine who dared to defy the LORD of hosts.
Then, when the battle raged, David doesn’t lag back and wait for Goliath to make the first move. David charged Goliath, sling in hand, armed with full persuasion of God’s faithfulness.
These words were shared between Cleopas and his companion on the 7 mile walk from Jerusalem to Emmaus as Jesus, in resurrected form, used the Hebrew scriptures to reveal himself to them as the Messiah.
There are at least 109 distinct Biblical prophecies the Messiah had to fulfill.
The mathematical probability of such a feat occurring is astoundingly absurd, yet that absurdity is satisfied… in Jesus, the Messiah.
Simeon spoke these words when he met baby Jesus. The Holy Spirit revealed that he would not die until he saw the Messiah. Immediately upon meeting Jesus in the temple, Simeon held Him and worshiped god saying, “Now you are letting your servant depart in peace, according to your Word, for my eyes have seen your salvation.”
A Christmas Special - The Evidence
40 days of twice daily taunting from Goliath sent Saul and the Israelite army reeling in fear. But David’s passion for YHWH, conviction and full persuasion stirred King Saul.
When people are on fire for God it often provokes others to glob on to that fire.
But we must be careful to resist the well meaning overtures of the flameless by-standers.

Akayed Ullah attempted a massive suicide bomb mission at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan, NY all in the name of ISIS as confirmed by NYPD Commissioner James O’Neill.
In the end, the attacker severely wounded himself and superficially injured 3 other people, one of whom was treated on the scene and released.
Mainstream medial outlets fell over themselves in their attempts to describe this attacker as a “lone wolf.”

“I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Genesis 12:3 (ESV).

He’s also announced that the U.S. Embassy in Israel will be relocated from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…” Excerpted from Romans 12:2 (ESV).
The verse continues “that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Christians don’t automatically get a new mind when we get saved. Our old mind, however, has to be transformed. This verse explains the only way our old minds can be transformed is by renewing it with God’s word.
The result of mind renewal is that our discernment capacity is increased and refined.
We hold our minds up to the probing light of scripture and wherever there are any differences we submit to God’s word. This produces new minds.

The CDC has released a study that says teen virgins are healthier than their sexually active peers.
The study, which examined students in grades 9 to 12 based on their sexual behavior, found that students who did not have sex exhibited more healthy behaviors than those who had sex.
The study provided empirical data that supported the notion that teens who abstained from sexual activity displayed healthier behavioral choices in other areas.
Once again, scientific study shows living God’s way is the best way for all to live. Violating God’s standards however has dire consequences.
