Representative Tim Burchett said the Secret Service “destroyed” the bag containing cocaine at the White House.

He further explained,

[The Secret Service] don't even have the key from the locker [where the cocaine was found] and they said originally 'we didn't find enough DNA, now, and they went back and said, 'we didn't find any DNA.

With all of the cameras in the White House and intimate location the cocaine was found, the Secret Service likely destroyed the baggie BECAUSE THEY KNOW who brought the white into the White House.

The Louisiana legislature protected the Pelican State from gubernatorial lunacy by overriding John Bel Edwards’ veto of HB 648. The measure protects children from harmful medical procedures and unscrupulous profiteers who seek to manipulate struggling children.

In resounding fashion the state house, by a 75-23 margin, and the state senate by a 28-11 margin, sternly rebuked the Governor. The Legislature did what the Governor refused to do — protect children.

By God’s grace, I pray this act leads to a restoration of sanity in Louisiana’s medical system and medical systems across the nation. May it be so LORD.

In these last days, we see evildoers going from bad to worse.  Unbelievers pursue pleasure without morality. Large retailers use their platforms to provoke social change and indoctrinate our children.

It’s our responsibility as Christ-followers to push back against the tide, continue to speak the truth and saving grace through our LORD. If we are faithful to share God’s love, there may yet be hope for lost souls.

We know the world is gonna world. Target is gonna target. But is the church going to church?

And the second is like it.  You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

When Queries by the pharisees concerning the greatest commandment, Jesus answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind."

He then said the second greatest commandment is, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

He didn't simply say love your neighbor.  He said Christ followers must love our neighbors as ourselves.

Christian duty requires us to employ discernment and active empathy.  We worship our Lord when we put ourselves in one another's shoes as we do live together and resolve misunderstandings.

“He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will suffer harm.”  Proverbs 13:20 (NASB).

When my wife and I first started having children we discouraged our family members from speaking to them in baby talk… you know the gaga-googoo stuff.

The reason was simple.  We wanted our children to speak English well.  Baby talk would hinder that development.

The same principle applies to spiritual development.

If we want our children to be wise disciples of our LORD we should ask ourselves how much of their time is spent investing in spiritual maturity.

Protracted time in the company of spiritual baby-talkers will inevitably cause harm.

"The ear that listens to life-giving reproof will dwell among the wise.”  Proverbs 15:31 (ESV).

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1 (ESV).

Psalm 46 is a popular Psalm as it includes the text, “Be still, and know that I am God.” This was the conclusion to a Psalm that previously observed,

Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.

This described what looked like the end of the world. Nevertheless, the Psalmist remained unshaken. He refused to allow present difficulty to cause him to forget God’s past faithfulness.

Virus or no virus, God is our refuge and strength.

“Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” Matthew 19:5 (ESV).

With this statement Jesus affirmed what He’d already said in Genesis 1 and 2 and defined marriage for all time. Contrary to the protestations of the nouveau critical theorists, the nuclear family consisting of a married father and mother is not a western sociological prescription or construct.

Marriage did not originate in the west.  It’s origin isn’t suburban America.

It started in Genesis, in the Garden of Eden.  Marriage is God’s idea.  Therefore, He alone defines it.  If you don’t like it, your problem is with God… not me.

"So the chief Priests made plans to put Lazarus to death as well."

After Jesus resurrected Lazarus his and Lazarus’ fame spread.  They already planned to kill Jesus.  But now, because Lazarus was tangible evidence of Jesus’ resurrection power, the chief priests and Pharisees plotted to kill Lazarus too.

They never worried about Lazarus before. But now, because he is a walking billboard of Christ’s power, they want him dead too.

This, brothers and sisters, is why many come against you.  It isn’t personal, but Satanic forces can’t stand your representation of God’s power to transform lives.

That’s why we rejoice when we’re slandered for His namesake. Christ’s power is on display.

"Rejoice with those who rejoice.” Romans 12:15(a).

Michael, a five-year-old boy, showed up at the courthouse in Grand Rapids, Michigan, for an adoption hearing with his foster parents, and he had a crowd of unusual supporters.

Michael's entire kindergarten class sat in the audience behind him waving big red hearts mounted on wooden sticks to show their support.

The kindergartners offered the most touching answers, standing up and telling the court, "I love Michael" or "Michael's my best friend.”

Michael's new father and mother have been married for nearly 10 years, and he'd been living with them as a foster child for more than year.

Adoption truly is at the heart of the Gospel.

In a case that arose from litigation concerning congressional district drawings in North Carolina by its state legislature, the U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) has now ruled in Moore v. Harper that state legislatures DO NOT have plenary authority concerning the time, manner and place federal elections are held, though that is exactly what Article 1, Section 4 of of the U.S. Constitution says.

SCOTUS’ extra-constitutional power conscription led Justices Thomas, Gorsuch, and Alito to dissent from the majority’s opinion, objecting to this unconstitutional abuse of power.

Directly contradicting A.G. Merrick Garland, IRS Whistleblower Gary Shapley has testified under oath that U.S. Attorney David Weiss was instructed not to pursue charges against Hunter Biden. The New York Times has now published reporting corroborating Mr. Shapley’s sworn testimony.

The Times wrote,

A second former I.R.S. official, who has not been identified, told House Republicans the same story. That episode was confirmed independently to The New York Times by a person with knowledge of the situation.

Independent corroboration here probably warrants mention prior to the 21st paragraph. But, hey, they published it.

Dr. Johnson Varkey is a committed Christian who’s taught biology at St. Phillip’s College in San Antonio, TX for the last 20 years. However, after a lesson in which he told his class sex is determined by chromosomes X and Y, he was terminated by the college.

Thankfully, our friends at First Liberty are representing Dr. Varkey and they’ve demanded his immediate reinstatement, or else. Biology hasn’t changed in the last 20 years. Our society has been taken captive. When a biology professor is fired for teaching biology it shows the culture has turned putrid.

We live in a day when churches are filled with people ready to hear and receive God’s mercy. Unfortunately, however, it is often accompanied by a de-emphasis or concealment of the truth of God’s Word.

Paul, the salvation-by-grace-through-faith Apostle, was asked if salvation is solely a product of grace what benefit then does the law provide. Paul responded, “Without the law, I wouldn’t have known God’s righteous standard and how far away from it I was.”

Any presentation of God’s mercy absent of God’s truth is no Gospel at all.

Iniquity is purged by mercy and truth.

A friend of mine who pastors in Nigeria once said to me “ya know, America has sent more missionaries into the world than any other nation before it.  But the nation that once sent missionaries has now become the mission field.”

As you consider the calling God has for you, I just want to remind you that just as other nations need missionaries we need missionaries in America too.

There are a lot of neighborhoods right here in our country that desperately need evangelism and discipleship. Let’s not forget them.

God initiated human history and defined for all time what marriage is and identified the only two types of candidates that comprise a marriage: one man and one woman. He also identified the archetypical union from which these candidates would derive. The prospective husband and wife both come from the ancestral unit of a Father and Mother.

Though Adam and Eve didn’t have biological parents, this pronouncement reveals God had particularized specifics in mind as to what He ordained Fathers and Mothers to be. Fallenness didn’t change God’s plan.

“For nothing is hidden that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light.” Luke 8:17 (NASB95).

Gary Shapley is a supervisory IRS agent. Disgusted by the appalling perversion of our justice system in the Hunter Biden case, he’s become a whistleblower exposing the details of the IRS turning a blind eye to Hunter’s tax evasion dating back to 2014, the blocked search warrants, and great lengths the government went to avoid holding the oval office occupant’s son accountable for his crimes that also seem to implicate “the big guy.”

Men think they are shrewd. The fact is no one escapes the judgment of God. That should make them tremble.

Texas Christian University will offer “The Queer Art of Drag” course during the 2023-2024 school year through its Women and Gender Studies Department. The course instructor’s focus areas include queer theory and activism, as well as “LGBTQ history and culture.”

Enrolled students must “produce a one-to-two minute solo drag performance to be recorded, edited, and shared with an open audience at TCU’s annual Night of Drag.”

I won’t even get into the additional insanity listed in the course syllabus.

If this is what’s considered “education,” this so-called Christian University needs a name change immediately.
