The Supreme Court will hear oral arguments today over a cross-shaped memorial in Maryland.

In 1925, The American Legion dedicated the Bladensburg World War I Veterans Memorial because mothers who lost their sons in from Prince George’s County, Maryland decided to erect this memorial to mimic the gravestones of their son’s burial sites in Europe.

Because of its cross shape, The American Humanist Association sued, saying it violated the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.

This case give the court, an opportunity to correct the course of Establishment Clause jurisprudence and deliver a resounding victory for religious liberty in America.

Empire Star Jussie Smollett was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct in falsifying a police report.

This followed his initial report that he was a the victim of a horrific attack where the assailants yelled “this is MAGA country.”

Police have learned that Smollett orchestrated the attack with two men he knew personally and whom he paid with a check.

Unsurprisingly, the media ran with the initial report seemingly because it painted Trump supporters in a negative light.

The Trump presidency has revealed for all the nation to see that journalistic standards are a thing of the past.

“Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.”  2 Timothy 3:12 (ESV).

Senator Corey Booker asked D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals nominee Neomi Rao whether she believed homosexual relationships were sinful.

This followed his questioning of now Secretary of State Mike Pompeo where Booker asked if Pompeo believed homosexuality was a perversion.

Before that, Senator Bernie Sanders objected to Russell Vought’s nomination to the Office of Management and Budget because Vought believed Jesus Christ was the only way to eternal life.

Though the Constitution prohibits the application of a religious test, this represents a growing view that Christianity disqualifies one for government service.  Take note.

Empire actor Jussie Smollett claimed he was viciously attacked in Chicago by Trump supporters.

Now, sources say Smollett staged the attack himself.

Chicago police raided the home of two “persons of interest” who turn out be actors who have worked with Smollett in the past as extras on the Empire show.

The police search produced a black face mask, an “Empire script, a phone, receipts, a red hat and bleach.

The Chicago Police Department has said if Smollett made a false report he will be prosecuted for that crime.

“You who judge those who practice such things and yet do them yourself.”  Romans 2:3a (ESV).

Over two years after the fact, newly released FBI emails obtained by Judicial Watch via a Freedom of Information Act request, confirm that James Comey’s FBI attempted to work out a quid pro quo deal with Obama State Department to help minimize the Hillary Clinton private email server scandal just weeks before the 2016 election.

FBI Agent Lisa Page offered to provide cover for Hillary concerning a classified email if the State Department helped the FBI send agents to a country they previously had difficulty gaining access to.

But Comey aid said there was nothing to see here.

President Trump has announced his intention to invoke the power allocated to him by Congress pursuant to the National Emergencies Act of 1976 to declare a National Emergency on our southern border and reallocate appropriated money to erect a southern border wall.

According to the Federal Register, 58 national emergencies have been declared sine the statute was passed in 1976 focusing on everything from swine flu to rough diamonds.

In his announcement, President Trump explained Congress’ refusal to fund the border wall forced him to do whatever he can legally to protect the American people and keep his campaign promise.

“The iniquities of the wicked ensnare him, and he is held fast in the cords of his sin.”  Matthew 19:14 (ESV).

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, has decided the Senate will vote on the apocalyptic socialist “Green New Deal.”

This is a brilliant move because it forces Democrat legislators to go on record concerning the proposal to eliminate air travel, retrofit or destroy every building in America, eviscerate the fossil fuel industry, and cure that pesky cow flatulence problem in 10 years.

By now, it’s obvious how insane the proposal is but vote against it, and you risk alienating the most energized component of the Democrat base, the radical regressive.

The turtle is shrewd.

New Jersey has become the second state in the nation after California to adopt a law that requires schools to teach about LGBTQ history.  The move was hailed by various regressive groups as a step toward inclusion and fairness.

Historical characters will be taught to New Jersey children not because of their great accomplishments, or because of their contributions to society, but for their sexual preferences.

And the political correctness that plagues modern America hails this as progress.

Folks, this is a great example why I refer to these people as regressives.  Elevating sexual decisions to the ranks of historically noteworthy doesn’t move a country forward.

“Just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned.”  Romans 5:12 (ESV).

A popular effort in social revisionism is happening where “racism,” which is better described in Biblical terms as skin-color-based partiality, is a crime of which only people with lighter skin color can be guilty.

Let’s be clear, factions, divisions, and dissensions, including those based on skin color, are the fruit of the sinful flesh.

The root cause of partiality is sin.

Every person, regardless of the quantity of melanin in their skin, is capable of partiality.

The only remedy for sin is the blood of Jesus Christ.

“Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb.”  Isaiah 49:15 (ESV).

Louisiana passed a law in 2014 that required doctors who perform baby murder procedures to have admitting privileges to a nearby hospital.

That law, which is viewed as a baby murder restriction, was set to go into effect  but has been held up in court.

Chief Justice John Roberts joined the regressive block of justices on the Supreme Court in a 5-4 ruling to prevent the law from taking effect prior to it being reviewed on the merits.

A full review of the law will likely occur during the Supreme Court’s October 2019 term.

When photos surfaced purporting to depict Virginia Governor Ralph Northam clad either in blackface or in KKK garb, the Virginia House Democrats demanded that Governor Northam resign immediately.

However, after allegations of sexual assault committed by Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax and Attorney General Mark Herring admitted to dressing in blackface as a college student, the Virginia House Democrats have made no such resignation demands.

It makes one ask why?

If sexual assault accusations and dressing in blackface are disqualifiers for public office, we should expect the Democrats in the Virginia House of Delegates to be consistent in their resignation demands… shouldn’t we?

Scientists in Israel report having discovered a cure for cancer.  And not just for certain forms, but a complete cure for the deadly disease.

According to Dan Aridor, Accelerated Evolution Biotechnologies’ Board Chairman, and CEO Dr. Ilan Morad their treatment won’t need time for the body to acculturate to it before it works.

They plan to offer this cure to the public in about a year.  They believe it will be an effective cure, with minimal to no side effects, from day one.

An estimated 18.1 million new cancer cases are diagnosed worldwide annually.

Scientists in Israel may have a cure.

The Office of Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) released its annual “Worldwide Threat Assessment.”

The Assessment revealed despite years of counter-terrosim pressure, Al Qaeda’s senior leaders (AQSL) remain active and in command of a widespread network.

It also revealed Al Qaeda’s senior leaders spent the last few years orchestrating their terrorist network from Iran… the same place billions in cash was sent to via an unmarked plane by the previous administration!

Isn’t this is something the American people should know?

The lack of media curiosity on this issue is astounding!

News media recently attacked Karen Pence for teaching art at a Christian school that requires fidelity to Christian sexual ethics from students and staff.

Now, the Sheridan School, a regressive private school in Virginia that used to compete against Pence’s Immanuel Christian School, is refusing to play against them at their facility, saying playing basketball at a Christian school makes children “unsafe.”

Human sexuality is THE issue where Christ-followers have to decide whether we will be servants of Christ or men pleasers.  We cannot be both!

California State Senate Judiciary Committee Chairwoman Hannah-Beth Jackson announced her committee was adopting a new rule banning the use of the traditional binary pronouns “he,” “she,” “her,” or “him” in hearings.

She went on to say “We are using what my grammar teacher would have a heart attack over.  We are using the phrase ‘they.’ My grammar teacher’s long gone.  And I won’t be hearing from HER.”

After announcing it, the Chairwoman violated her own rule.

 The irony would be funny, but it shows government won’t be content until it controls what we think and say.

On the 46th anniversary of the diabolical Roe v. Wade decision, the New York State Senate passed the Reproductive Health Act which allows late term abortions when the baby is up to 24 weeks, “OR there is an absence of fetal viability, OR the abortion is necessary to protect the mother’s life or health.”

The “life" or “health-all factors” exception to the law permits abortion at any point during the pregnancy if the mother says the baby would negatively effect her emotionally, psychologically, familially or if it negatively effects her age.

To celebrate death, is to reject wisdom.

Baby murder proponents are the new Nazis.

“The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him.”  Proverbs 18:17 (ESV).

In the wake of the talking snake media’s absolutely false reporting concerning the Covington High School Students, Whoopi Goldberg, co-host of “The View,” asked the panel why they thought the media continues to falsely report stories.

In a moment of candor, Joy Behar responded it’s “Because we’re desperate to get Trump out of office.”

Behar included herself among the media hordes who are seething to see President Trump removed from office.  Their emotional investment in overturning the will of over 60 million Americans drives them lie, smear, and slander.

At least Joy-less Behar admitted it!

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said “an economic system that allows billionaires to exist is immoral.”

Someone may want to let the former bartender turned Congresswoman know that the top 1% of wage earners pay nearly 50% of all federal taxes.

The top 10% of wage earners pay nearly 70% of all federal taxes.

The top 20% of wage earners pay about 85% of all federal taxes.  That money funds things like our national welfare programs.

Don’t let them entice you to harbor disdain for the wealthy.  Socialists  bank on covetousness to gain support for their regressive policies.

“You shall not be partial to the poor or defer to the great.”  Leviticus 19:15 (ESV).

During his “State of the City” speech, New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio said “…there is plenty of money in the world.  Plenty of money in this city, it’s just in the wrong hands.”

Why is it wrong for some people to have money?  Who determines who the right people are to have money?

This one telling statement reveals the ultimate redistributionist ethos that permeates through regressivism.

The next time you hear calls for economic justice they will usually flow from the lips of a person who agrees with Mayor DeBlasio.  It’s just wrong for money to be in some people’s hands.

CNN analyst Areva Martin accused Sirius XM radio and Fox Nation host David Webb of benefitting from white privilege.  She assumed David Webb reached the place where he was in life because of the inherent privileges of less melanated skin… but there a little problem here…

David Webb is blessed with a permanent tan.

Areva Martin’s public blooper gives us all a great opportunity for introspection and rid ourselves of any sinful skin color based partiality and rejoice in the Biblical truth that all mankind is made of one blood, one human race.
