A Christian woman returned to teaching at a Christian School that adheres to Christian sexual ethics as taught in the Christian Bible.
Can someone tell me why this is a news story?
When it’s newsworthy for Christians to actually live according to Jesus’ teachings, that is a pretty good indication of where we are as a society.

After a failed effort to unseat Senator Cruz, Robert Francis O’Rourke has become a regressive darling.
O’Rourke demonstrated his commitment to taking America backwards in a recorded conversation, reported by the Washington Post, where he openly questioned the current relevance of the U.S. Constitution and whether our nation should still be governed by “the same principles that were set down 230-plus years ago.”
Regressive ideology is steeped in an unyielding effort to fundamentally transform America into something other than America. Whether its the judiciary, the legislature, the presidency or the culture at large, the U.S. Constitution is an impediment to be overcome.
“But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves” James 1:22 (ESV).

This Scripture underscores the harrowing reality that permeates the life of many who profess to be Christians.
The blessing of being a Christ follower comes not only from hearing God’s word, but obeying it.
James continues, “For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away, and at once forgets what he was like.
But the one who looks into the perfect law of liberty and perseveres - being not a hearer who forgets, but a doer who acts - he will be blessed in his doing.” James 1:23-25 (ESV)

Newly published information from Lifeway Research shows 77% of self-identified Christians in dozens of states think it’s a sin to lend money to someone who can’t afford to pay it back. Still, few say payday loans are immoral and one in six Christians have admitted to taking out a high-interest payday loan.
The federal government’s Consumer Financial Protection Bureau says the typical two-week payday loan charges the equivalent of a 400% interest rate.
These “sharks” prey on the poor, elderly, and most vulnerable in society.
Sound the alarm and make sure your family, church, and neighborhood steer clear of this vermin.

Jill Abramson, the former executive editor of the New York Times, argues in a new book that her former employer abandoned journalistic objectivity concerning the Trump White House and cashed in along the way.
She explained the Times’ readers are largely liberal and the paper became unmistakably anti-Trump… for profit.
With a barrage of negative Trump stories, the Times drove huge traffic to its publication and, despite the blip of cancellations following the 2016 election, it enjoyed inflated subscription orders to levels no one anticipated.
It was never about the news. It was about regressivism and money.

Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats have inserted language to expand abortion into a bill to end the partial government shutdown.
The spending bill would repeal President Trump’s “Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance Policy,” formerly referred to as the “Mexico City Policy,” that prevents American taxpayer dollars from being given in aid to any international entity that performs or actively promotes baby murder as a family planning method.
The first day the Democrats take over the majority in the House of Representatives they immediately present legislation to expand baby murder.
They wasted no time showing who they truly are.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio signed the municipal aw that will allow New Yorkers to change the existing sex on their birth certificates from male or female to “X” simply by attesting that it reflects their gender identity.
A medical assessment or physician’s note is not required to claim the option.
Prior to 2014, New York law allowed birth certificate identity changes only after sex reassignment surgery. Later, a doctor’s note was required.
But that’s old news. Self-attestation concerning gender identity is all that is needed now, regardless of biological reality.
But, Christians are often called science deniers?

The latest government shutdown debacle is a striking example of why Congress has such a low approval rating.
Congressional Democrats and President Trump are at a stalemate over funding for a barrier on the United States’ Southern Border.
Interestingly, many of these very same Congressional Democrats supported southern border barrier legislation not too long ago.
The Secure Fence Act of 2006 was passed with votes from several prominent Democrats including then Senators Barack Hussein Obama, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and current Democrat Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.
So what changed? The hypocrisy is astounding!

Acts 17:26 conveys to us the reality that we were born and placed in the 21st century by God’s specific design. He determined before time where we would live and when we would live there.
If you’re in Minnesota, Mississippi, or Maine, God put you there on purpose.
He’s not surprised by the darkness we see around us, nor is He caught off guard by it. In fact, He specifically prepared for it by making sure you’re alive right now. God can do whatever He wants, but He’s chosen to use you and me as ambassadors of His kingdom.
We are His torches to light up the darkness.

In an interview with Ben Shapiro, Pastor John MacArthur said while his views on hot-button issues like homosexuality are controversial, his goal as a pastor is to “offend everyone” because any brand of Christianity that is “inoffensive isn’t Christianity at all.”
The initial goal is confronting man’s sinfulness, to tell mankind that it is lost, without God in the world and that there’s only one Savior, the LORD Jesus Christ.
Confronting and offending sin is necessary to point the way to the cross.

Pro-life activist Ryan Bomberger, head of the Radiance Foundation, made a presentation at Wheaton College, at the invitation of the College Republicans, titled “Black Lives Matter: In and out of the Womb.” It was strong appeal to protect and defend babies in the womb.
Soon after the presentation, Bomberger was denounced in an email from Wheaton College leadership.
What has happened to the Christian university, founded in 1860 by Christian abolitionists, that was once a stop on the underground railroad when it denounces a Christian abortion abolitionist who fights for the sanctity of human life?

In a speech justifying Apple’s decision to de-platform certain people, CEO Tim Cook said,
I believe the most SACRED thing that each of us is given is our JUDGEMENT, our MORALITY, our own innate desire to separate RIGHT from WRONG. Choosing to set that responsibility aside at a moment of trial is SIN.
Christians were told words like “judgement, morality, right, wrong, and sin” were hateful, and un-loving terms.
So the church stopped using them.
Now, Tim Cook, and his regressive allies are using them.
They are redefining sin to allow society to recast Biblical faithfulness as evil!

Writer, director, producer, and actor Tyler Perry shared a Twitter video telling followers that if they had layaway at the Walmart locations in East Point or Douglasville, Georgia to go pick the up their purchases—as they’d been paid off.
Perry paid about $432,000 on people’s layaways.
His generosity inspired Kid Rock, Glenn Beck, and others to do the same. Its resulted in people of varied economic means paying off large and small layaway balances.
This Christmas season, let’s invite people to receive the greatest gift ever given, the free gift of salvation through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez complained that voters are influenced by what they hear in Church on Sundays.
Perez lamented that Democrat messaging doesn’t penetrate because one of the principle sources of information for voters is what they hear from “the pulpit on Sunday” and “they buy it.”
This statement demonstrates that regressives will ultimately come for the Church. History shows that humanistic totalitarians will not stand a vibrant dissenting voice. It’s the reason Communist China seeks to crush Christianity there.
What they fail to realize is that the gates of hell will not prevail against the LORD’s Church!
“Whoever closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself call out and not be answered.” Proverbs 21:13 (ESV).

The Supreme Court declined to review lower-court rulings that prevented in two states from ending public funding for Planned Parenthood.
Conservative Justices Thomas, Gorsuch, and Alito voted in favor of taking up the challenge, but John Roberts and Brett Kavanuagh voted against, depriving their colleagues of the four votes required to review the cases.
When regressives savaged Kavanaugh with all manner of slanderous accusations during his confirmation it was largely the pro-life community who rallied to his defense.
Yet, in this instance, he refused stand with pro-lifers and defend the Constitution.

In a continued crackdown on Christianity, about 100 Christians were snatched from their homes or from the streets in coordinated raids across Southwest China.
Authorities targeted members of the Early Rain Covenant Church across various districts of Chengdu, the provincial capital of Sichuan.
The arrested worshippers include Wang Yi, Pastor of the Early Rain Church.
Anticipating arrest, he wrote a letter that was to be released if he went missing.
In it he wrote, “the reason the Communist regime is filled with fear is because the Church is no longer afraid of the government.”
Please pray for our brethren in China.

During the Bend to Justice leadership conference Senator Maize Hirono of Hawaii was asked why it was so difficult for Democrats to connect with voters.
Senator Hirono responded that Democrats have so much information, they are really good at giving out all the information that touch people’s minds but not their hearts.
She further explained, “we Democrats know so much. We are very smart that we end up telling everyone how smart we are and so we have a tendency to be very left brain” indicating that the Democrat-to-voter disconnect is due to their intellectual superiority.

The first ever transgender Miss Universe contestant is the odds-on favorite to win the Miss Universe pageant.
After winning the 2018 Miss Universe Spain pageant, a biological male who calls himself Angela Ponce who has undergone sex reassignment surgery and hormone therapy, is expected to win the Miss Universe competition.
Ponce said “this platform provides the opportunity to send a message to Trump and to the world. If they give me the crown, it would show trans-women are just as much women as cis women.”
Denying biological reality is regressive.

Ramin Parsa, a former Muslim who is now a Christian Pastor who fled Iran as a religious refugee, was arrested for privately sharing his conversion testimony in the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN.
He fled persecution in Iran and Turkey, only to find persecution in the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Parsa was stabbed in Iran for converting to Christianity. He did not expect to face religious persecution in America.
He concluded, “It seems like the only people who can be bullied in America are the Christians. This should not be in a free country.”

The excesses of the #MeToo movement are wreaking havoc on Wall Street and hurting women. Instead of bringing about the equality feminists sought, men across Wall Street are shutting out females for fear of being falsely accused of sexual misconduct or harassment.
According to Bloomberg, men are taking drastic precautions to separate themselves from women.
In an industry where internal networking is critical to career advancement, junior level women are finding themselves on the outside looking in.
Since #MeToo demands incessantly that all accusers must be believed, no matter what, based solely on the accusation… even blind Bartimaeus could’ve seen this one coming.
