Michigan voters have a proposed amendment to their state constitution on the ballot during this midterm election. It is Proposal 3.
The amendment has been described as an “abortion amendment” that re-establishes the Roe and Casey standards for baby murder in the state.
First, that’s false. If passed, the amendment creates a state constitutional right to kill babies on demand at any time for any reason on the tax payers dime.
It would also create the constitutional right for children to get sterilization, puberty blockers and chemical castration without parental knowledge or consent under the banner of “gender affirming care.”
Vote no Michigan!

Thanks to EU Parliamentarian Rob Roos, we’ve learned that Pfizer never tested its Schmovid injections for virus transmission prevention. Never tested it.
This scandal was exposed during an EU Parliamentary hearing when Rob Roos questioned Pfizer executive J. Small. He asked her specifically whether any testing of virus transmission prevention had been done before Pfizer put their injections on the market. She answered “no.”
Nevertheless, the injections were initially sold to the public saying they prevented infection and they prevented transmission. We know that is not the case and it never was.
They lied from the beginning.

Newly published information from Lifeway Research shows 77% of self-identified Christians in dozens of states think it’s a sin to lend money to someone who can’t afford to pay it back. Still, few say payday loans are immoral and one in six Christians have admitted to taking out a high-interest payday loan.
The federal government’s Consumer Financial Protection Bureau says the typical two-week payday loan charges the equivalent of a 400% interest rate.
These “sharks” prey on the poor, elderly, and most vulnerable in society.
Sound the alarm and make sure your family, church, and neighborhood steer clear of this vermin.
David, the son of Jesse, was just an ordinary giant slayer.
My name is Abraham Hamilton, III and this is The Hamilton Minute.
David’s battle with Goliath is an epic drama where the little boy stands in God’s power to conquer the Philistine giant.
David didn’t awaken that morning expecting to slay a giant. He didn’t stroll in with an entourage after a rugged mountain range training camp like Rocky in Rocky IV. He was just a regular kid bringing his brothers’ lunch. But fully confident in God’s immeasurable power, though he saw Goliath, David never acknowledged him as a giant, saying, “Who is this uncircumcised Philistine who dares defy the Lord of hosts?”
When regular people are fully persuaded, fully confident in God’s power, giant’s fall.
“Always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for the reason for the hope that is in you.”
Many who oppose Christianity target their hostility on our foundation, the Bible. They say it is unreliable because Genesis one and Genesis two are contradictory accounts of the creation story.
In actuality, the two chapters are complimentary and not contradictory.
When Jesus was asked about marriage, He quoted from both chapters one and two, saying that He made them both to be male and female in the beginning. "And for this cause shall a man leave his mother and father and cleave unto his wife."
Genesis one is an overview of the creation story and Genesis two is an up close examination of day six. If Jesus relies on them both, so can we.
The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.

What is the proper role of government?
Romans chapter 13 outlines government's function, and it is basically this: to restrain or punish wickedness and to reward righteousness.
Government was never intended to be our savior. Government is our servant.
As we focus on our civil occupations and our civic engagement responsibilities, let us never forget that government is not our God. We don't put our trust in it. We put our trust in our Christ.
As a result, what we want is a government that stays out of our way and leaves room for our church to do our business of fulfilling the great commission.
What is the source of America's greatness? Alexis de Tocqueville, a 19th century French political thinker and philosopher, had this exact same question.
This is Abraham Hamilton, III and this is The Hamilton Minute.
On the heels of the French Revolution, he came to America in 1831 to investigate America's ascendency. In doing so, he found that America's greatness did not lie in her economic system. It did not lie in her banking system. Nor did it lie in her educational system.
He found that America's pulpits, aflamed with righteousness, was the source of America's greatness. He opined that America is great because she is good, but when America ceases to be good, she will cease to be great.
Let us pray for restoration of the flame of righteousness in our pulpits.
What would it take for you to compromise your principles?

Recently I heard a statement that went like this, “I don’t think principles matter if you can’t get elected.”
Principles form the core of who you are. Principles form the foundation of a civil society.
George Washington in his farewell address identified religion and morality as indispensable supports.
“In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness,” George Washington said.
It makes me think of a scripture. “What would it profit a man to gain the whole world yet lose his soul?”
What would it profit a man to gain an election yet lose his principles?

When Israel was poised to enter the promised land, Rahab, the Canaanite harlot, risked her very life to protect YHWH’s people. This woman, whose life was filled with immorality, with no knowledge of YHWH’s law yet she risked her life for His people after only hearing of His exploits.
How much more then, should we give our lives for Him. We have His word. We know His ways. She we be any less committed?
Rahab’s conviction is provoking.
“Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.” 2 Timothy 4:2 (NASB).

As Paul was incarcerated, facing imminent execution by Nero, he told Timothy perilous times were coming. Evil men and seducers would wax worse and worse.
But, he instructed Timothy to continue in what he knew to be true.
Then, he emphatically stated, “preach the word!”
As darkness mounts and wickedness increases, you and I must continue to cling the God’s Holy word and yield to the Lordship of Holy Spirit in our personal lives.
And, we absolutely must continue the preach the word!
We have our orders! Let’s magnify the King!

In Paul’s first letter to Timothy, he expressed his awe, wonder and amazement at the inexhaustible grace and mercy of God in that He saw fit not only to regenerate Paul, but to also find him worthy for appointment to Gospel ministry.
Paul knows his history as a blasphemer and a terrorist who sought to destroy The Way of Christ following.
He stands as a witness to the fact, that no one—and I mean no one— is beyond the grace of God.
Keep praying for your unsaved loved ones!
“And they came to Jesus and saw the demon-possessed man, the one who had had the legion, sitting there, clothed and in his right mind, and they were afraid.” Mark 5:15 (ESV).
My name is Abraham Hamilton, III and this is The Hamilton Minute.
Mark described the Gadarean demoniac, who said “My name is Legion, for we are many” as living among the tombs, breaking free from shackles and chains, howling in the night and cutting himself with stones.
But Jesus cast the demons out of him. And when the townspeople saw him with Jesus, free, clothed in his right mind… that is when they were afraid.
If you’ve recently been freed by Jesus don’t be surprised if it makes your old friends uncomfortable. It’s not you. It’s them.

When the the Prodigal Son parable is discussed the focus is usually placed on the young son who squandered his inheritance, yet returned home when “he came to himself.” But, if you look closely at the biblical text you will see it actually reveals the inexhaustible love of The Father.
Jesus’ story-telling reveals that this was no usual earthly father. When the young son squandered all, brought shame upon himself and his family, The Father sees him from a distance, runs to him and restores him. That’s our heavenly Father.
"Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; but [only] one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her." Luke 10:41(b)-42 (NASB).

After Jesus resurrected their brother, Lazarus, Martha and Mary, hosted a dinner party in their Bethany home. You can imagine the excitement and the buzz that swirled through the town and the number of people who came because the Rabbi had returned.
Martha busied herself with preparations. Mary sat at Jesus’s feet, basking in his teaching.
Life’s demands can easily consume our focus, but one thing is necessary: that we remain at Jesus’ feet, anchored in His word!
“And having sent into Macedonia two of his helpers, Timothy and Erastus, he himself stayed in Asia for a while.” Acts 19:22 (ESV).

As Apostle Paul navigated torrential ministerial waters in Ephesus, he sent Timothy and Erastus ahead of him as an advance team to Macedonia. Paul also includes Erastus as one who greeted the church at Rome in Romans 16:23 in which Paul described Erastus’ job as the City Treasurer in Corinth.
In 1929, archeologists in Corinth discovered a mid-1st century latin inscription that read “Erastus in return for his aedileship laid the pavement at his own expense.” The modern equivalent of a 1st century aedile would be a City Manager.
The Bible is trustworthy!
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people.” 1 Peter 2:9(a) (ESV).
My name is Abraham Hamilton, III and this is The Hamilton Minute.
When the the Spirit of God penned those words through Apostle Peter he meant every bit of them. Christ-following is distinct from the world. Christ-followers must look different from the world.
We shouldn’t be surprised then, when the world does not understand us and demonizes our faith. Jesus said, the student is not above the teacher. The world hated Jesus. We mustn’t be surprised when the world hates us.
We are called to be peculiar. Understand it. Embrace it. Get comfortable with it. Get used to it.
We are in the world, but not of the world.
Stay peculiar my friends.
“The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests who were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin, to whom the word of the LORD came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign.” Jeremiah 1:1-2 (NASB).
My name is Abraham Hamilton, III and this is The Hamilton Minute.
Jeremiah descended from a priestly lineage in Judah. He grew up in Anathoth, about 2-4 miles northeast of Jerusalem, where the temple was located. He began ministering prophetically about 627 B.C., during the 13th year of King Josiah’s reign. This is about 5 years before Josiah began Judah’s spiritual reformation.
It is very likely that Josiah’s reformation was influenced by Jeremiah’s preaching.

The American Enterprise Institute conducted an empirical study to understand the decline of religious faith in America. They concluded,
The data seem to show the main driver of secularization in the United States is government spending on education and control over the curricular content taught in schools.
Why? Because,
Children learn more at school than reading, writing, and arithmetic. They imbibe a whole set of implied assumptions about what’s important in life. Faith in God becomes a sort of optional weekend hobby akin to playing tennis or video games.
And our taxes dollars pay for it.

Maryland Congressman Jamie Raskin is a former Constitutional Law professor at American University College of Law in Washington D.C.
He recently appeared on MSDNC host Chris Hayes’ show. During his appearance he said the U.S. Constitution’s creation of the Electoral College is “an accident waiting to happen” and that we should “deal with it.”
This hostility and animosity toward the U.S. Constitution is rather prevalent among Regressives. That is why we very rarely see them uphold it. And instead, see them work over time to destroy it.
The simple fact is these people crave power. The Constitution is an impediment to them.
“Hezekiah was pleased, and showed them [all] his treasure house, the silver and the gold and the spices and the precious oil and his whole armory and all that was found in his treasuries. There was nothing in his house nor in all his dominion that Hezekiah did not show them.” Isaiah 39:2 (NASB).

The Chinese became the most common foreign buyer in the U.S. after purchasing a total of $6.1 billion in real estate last year. They also became the most common foreign buyer of real estate adjacent to U.S. Military bases.
What could go wrong with having our biggest enemy on the world stage owning the property surrounding our military bases…???
