Exploring The Health Benefits Of Cacao And Its Distinction From Processed Chocolate
Todd Herman Guys, what if the healthiest drink you had every day tasted like chocolate? Properly prepared, ceremony grade Cacao is completely different from the processed junk chocolate. And researchers studying the Kuna people found dramatically lower rates of heart problems among those who drink cacao daily. I drink it. It is absolutely natural and it just fills your body with goodness. Modern chocolate processing destroys up to 60% of cacao's beneficial compounds. Ceremonial GR cacao preserves that these are naturally occurring flavanols. It contains 63 times more oxidants than broccoli. And theobromine provides smoother, longer lasting energy than caffeine without the jitters. I take cacao bliss in the afternoon. I drink it warm. Here's what you can do. Go right now. A Disciples View: Discussing Post-Election Frustrations And Political Betrayals
And he's shown me through all those experiences that there is one problem and one solution. And that's why we do this show.
Jeff Chamblee Welcome to a Disciples View with Todd Herman.
Todd Herman When the God of the universe created the world, who didn't snap his fingers or look his ey, the Lord spoke and God said, let there be light because we believe, we speak about the happenings in this world, mindful that our true home is with Jesus Christ in his kingdom. I'm Todd Herman. Welcome to a Disciples View. Going to be, really focusing on a lot of things that have been said to me, post election. And some of them, they're going to frustrate some people. Frustrating to me, honestly, to be honest. a couple people who have never voted Democrat, came to me and said that they didn't vote. They refused to vote for any single Republican candidate even in statewide races. and they said it was the war. They felt betrayed by the President's decision to go to war in Iran.
Debating Border Enforcement, War Fatigue, And The Shifting Political Landscape
And there were some secondary things. One person is in favor of border enforcement but hated the way it was enforced. And some of these people I've talked with before about the fact that the president that the Democrats made sure the only way to enforce border enforcement was on the streets by secreting these people away. Judges were secreting them away, not letting DHS operate in jails. This worked. It was a very smart Move. because of course Barack Hussein Obama deported people. He gave Thom Homan a medal for deporting people. But they could do it in jails behind the scenes. It's a crazy thing when law enforcement activities that should take place in a safe and quiet way are ah, pushed onto the streets. Remember that leftist activists did not go confront ICE officers. They did not get themselves killed. This was all on purpose and it was so effective. But it was the Iran war for most people there is a fatigue on the topic of war among true conservatives. And I've heard Speaker Mike Johnson say that there is an isolationist wing building in the Republican Party and he wants to stomp that out, his candidate selection process as speaker and soon to be minority maybe leader. Maybe he has tried to stomp out to screen out any so called isolationist candidates. you know what? I hang out with a lot of young people at gyms. Well one gym where I go and to a person they're done with war in the Middle East. These ah, are men and these aren't weak minded men. They're plenty comfortable physically, mentally. They're, most of them are very successful to a person. They're Christian men, actively discipled Christian men. They're done. There's a lot to focus on in America and so I believe the era of endless war is coming to an end.
The Growing Discontent With Endless War And The Brewing Internal Conflicts
Praise God. Now we know there's going to be wars and rumors of wars in the end times and maybe that's what this is. But support for it's dying and I worry what that means because there'll come a time where we're going to need to go to war. I don't believe that was the case in Iran. I pray for our troops. They're phenomenal people. But guys, there is a war already brewing here. and it is something that people really I beg you to consider.
Analyzing Election Results And The Growing Influence Of Islamism In American Politics
The Muslim Brotherhood has congratulated Abdul El Sayads, which is not his full name and we'll talk about that in a second. They've congratulated Abdul El Sayed on his victory because it's a victory for the Muslim Brotherhood. And they said that this is an indication that you can operate within the system, to take care of the needs of Islamism, to push Islamism into the American governing structure. He is a representative of the Islamic Brotherhood. And this also proves something very, very disturbing. Mathematically I believe it's going to be very difficult if these numbers are real and if they decided to cheat by flooding the system with all These votes, I know there's people looking at that. I don't see any compelling evidence of that as yet at all. If these numbers are real, I need someone to help me understand how we'll ever have a non Muslim senator from Michigan again.
Understanding The Spiritual War And The Perceived Threat Of Islamism In Government
Now there's a war coming and there's a spiritual war. We're always in that. And our enemies are not flesh and blood, but the dark, spiritual forces in the heavenly realms. We know this. We therefore cannot fight, like hell for the things of heaven. We therefore need to wear the armor of God and understand that part of our battle is on our knees, loving the Lord Jesus, standing tall for the Word as ambassadors of Christ, wearing the armor of God and loving our enemies even as we recognize there is a war coming. The war right now is in Congress and the Senate. And their job now is to expand the number of Islamists with seats or Islamic, people who are willing to vote with the Islamists. See, what they're creating is a parliamentary system. You know those governments that change leaders every six months or you have to form a government. This is what they do in Israel. They do it in the uk. You have to have enough of a, it's not a majority, but enough of a plurality to form a government. That's what they want here. That's what they're setting up here. Ilhan Omar is a representative of the country of Somalia. She is not a United States representative. She's made that very, very clear. I believe the same is true about Abdul El Sayed.
Examining Political Identity And The Controversial Name Change Of Abdul El Sayed
And maybe it's just the Muslim Brotherhood trying to demoralize me. I don't feel demoralized. I feel like I'm living through a timeline that God said would happen. And in that way, praise God, we're not given to hearts of fear. I'm just saying there's a war coming. So Abdul, El Sayed, let his mask come off at his victory speech in Michigan.
Abdul Rahman Mohammad Said My name is Abdul Rahman Mohammad Said, And I am so proud and honored to stand here as your senator elect from the great state of Michigan. Up until right about now, you might have noticed I always say inshallah, or God willing, whenever the outcome of this race was mentioned. But today, tonight, we can turn that inshaallah into a alhamdulillah.
Todd Herman So an Islamist member of the Senate, congratulated by the Muslim Brotherhood, has finally stated his whole name. it's his right. That's the man's name. We shouldn't fear a name. We should recognize that Islam is a false Faith. It is a militant, false faith. It is a governing structure and it is antithetical to every idea in the Constitution. It is also antithetical to the Bible. I believe that Islam is the one world religion of Satan, my belief. Happy to get into details about why I believe that. Now all faiths other than that of recognizing the Lord Jesus as the only way to the Father as our only way of being saved, all faiths are false. Not all of them are lining up to be the one world faith, the anti faith, that's, that's described in the Bible. And again, I don't know that to be the case. I think it is. Now what's interesting about Abdul Al Sayyad saying his whole name, which is, again, that's the man's right. That is the man's name.
Deconstructing Religious And Cultural Influences On Personal Choices And Political Stances
Is this not what he said during the general election? Remember, under the rules of Islamism, it's perfectly okay to lie if you are trying to con the infidels. So here's Abdul El Sayed objuvating the reason his parents chose his name.
Todd Herman Funny story about how I became Abdul. So my whole name is actually Abdul Rahman, which, is about as intimidating as it sounds in English. and my parents got divorced right after they had me and both remarried. I was raised by my father and my stepmom. And 19, 89 rolls around and I'm about to start kindergarten. And my stepmom looks at my dad and is like, kid's not gonna make it a day with that name. So they sort of cast about looking for a new thing. And, turns out that 19, 89 in September, guess who's topping the charts Straight up now, baby, it's Paula Abdul. Was straight up. And so at that point they're like, this is his name. It's going to be Abdul from here on out.
Todd Herman Huh? So a, an adherent Muslim man who affords his son a second home in Dubai, whose family members have strong ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, who has spoken, in support of ideas in Sharia law, named their son, or gave him a nickname honoring a female African American pop star who wore short revealing skirts and danced in a sexual way. Yeah, Yep, yep. So some of the people in, power, like Jon Cornyn, who lost his, seat in the Senate, and now that seat has been taken by Democrat heretic, James Jimmy Talarico, the man who wears Jesus Christ as a skin suit, they're saying it's Jon Cornyn. Wrote an editor about it being an issue of candidate Quality.
Evaluating Candidate Quality And Loyalty Within The Republican Party Post-Election
This is what Mark Tyson, I believe he said. Mark Tyson is one of the people who pushed President Trump into going into the war in Iran. I believe that this war in Iran was the establishment's way of derailing President Trump's second term. They did it so well with COVID in the first term. Why not wash, rinse, repeat with a different crisis? So Brett Baer asked President Trump, if he regrets endorsing candidates like Ken Paxton.
Donald Trump You're going to accept all these races, right? Yeah,
Donald Trump sure, I'll accept
Donald Trump them. Why wouldn't they? But let me ask you this candidate quality. Do you have regrets about Ken Paxton or Darlene Graham, looking back at the beginning of this choice?
Donald Trump Well, I had no choice. Ken Paxton was a good guy. and I just wasn't a fan of Cornyn, you know, I just wasn't a fan. I, ah, found him to be a disloyal guy. he was not, a fan of mine. When, you know, to be honest, when it wasn't fashionable, he wasn't there. And we could say that about. A lot of people could say that about you. when it wasn't fashionable to be with Trump, he wasn't there when it was fashionable, he kissed my m. All right. But, you know, I remember the, I remember the other days and I just felt I couldn't endorse him. And I will tell you, the MAGA base, you know, with MAGA base, I think, I think the MAGA base is 100%, by the way, of the Republican Party.
Todd Herman with all due Respect, I disagree, Mr. President.
The Impact Of The Iran War On Trump's Presidency And The American Psyche
I think we just saw that, there were a lot of people who helped push the President into the war. Mark Tyson is on Fox News all the time. He writes at the Washington Post. He wrote an article entitled there is no US Downside to striking the Iranian regime. President Trump has said that it was Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff and Pete Hegseth who talked him into going to war. Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro said that this would have absolutely no effect on the election. Mark is an incredibly smart man, incidentally, on a one to one basis. I've talked to him twice. Incredibly kind, very humble man. I don't know Ben at all. I talked to him once and found him to be cordial, brilliant, smart men. Wrong on this. There is a temperature in the country. There is a worry. He who will not provide for his own family, the Bible tells us, is worse than a sinner. Presidents aren't our fathers. We have the Father in heaven. We have our earthly fathers, but there's an American family that felt betrayed. Members of the them felt betrayed with the war and the resulting gas prices and the focus on things like ballrooms. I truly pray for the rest of President Trump's term. I truly pray that he doesn't just give Democrats everything that they want. I truly pray that there's a way forward in this. And I stand here in good faith knowing that everything that's befallen us, the Lord has allowed and he does things for our good. We'll come back with some listener feedback about the day after the election and the program we did, as well as the Tower babbling a personal note.

We're called to be in the world and not of it. And that means a lot of things to me. it means that we will not use the language of the enemy.
Reflecting On Post-Election Emotions And The Role Of Faith In Political Discourse
it means that we begin each day, whenever we can, with the first fruits of our thoughts. being with the Lord Jesus and of him and man. I had trouble with that this morning. I no idea why, but I woke up out of the spirit, and tried my best to get in the spirit. Maybe it's because it was 3 o' clock in the morning, which is just where I wake up these days. we're also called to take wise counsel and we talked yesterday after the election. I always like to know how people respond, to things after election and shows. And so I want to get to some emails and then I have a really tough bit of news out of the separate country of Washington. And there's a reason I'm going to share it with you. It's because it's a sign of another war, another aspect of the spiritual war we're facing. The Democrat party is 100% profoundly pro criminal and you can put data points behind that all day long. This is very purposeful. This is part and parcel of a cultural revolution. It is to upset the country, it is to de. Settle the country. It is to shake the foundations. It is to have people believe that our system has fallen apart and it doesn't work. But our system was never intended for these things. I'm going to put that together with two examples of faith. One of someone speaking the name of Jesus and praising Jesus at a very good moment in life. The other from Nigeria prays in a country where Christians are being taken out murdered. I'll give you a heads up before we read this news from Washington state because it's very disturbing. So some emails post election show. This is from birthday David, longtime friend of afr. At the honor meeting David, during our share event got to take a picture with him. He's a guy who can figure out your birthday in a couple of questions. He's kind of famous for that. Dear brother Todd, it was an honor meeting you on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026 in Tupelo. I loved your action yesterday. I'm okay. After every election I always say Jesus resign, reigns no matter what. I got so tickled at the woman segment. I'll make a prediction. After these two years, the American people will be so fed up with what our congress performs that they will vote against them. Have a Jesus filled day.
Examining Cultural Shifts And Responding To News Biblically Amidst Spiritual Warfare
What if you beat a way to say that? And David's referring to a segment we did, with some parody videos. One was real. It's a Muslim member of Scottish Parliament, Scotland. And this Muslim member in Scotland wants the government to ban ah, alcohol in pubs. At least that's what he seems to be suggesting because he doesn't drink. And it's time for the Islamists in Scotland to, to shift from victim into helper, which they will do just prior to what they're doing in Paris, in Milan, which is being full on invaders. That's the timeline, that's what we're facing here. Dear Todd, I've been a faithful listener of your show for years. Yesterday my spirit leapt within me when you discussed the biblical rebellion. I sense to contact you to explore the possibilities of getting planted, involved in serving this ministry. My character is strong, spirit filled, love the word and at this point of my life diligently seeking a ministry opportunity to promote the truth and armor up with other men and discipling them for kingdom advancement. Motivated to share the word, extort and encourage others. Thank you for hearing my heart. I'd love to hear how your vision about your vision and the needs for this ministry sincere. Sincerely Daniel. So this is connected to what we're doing here, this spiritual warfare being in the world and not of it. The biblical rebellion is designed to teach men to find and fulfill their eternal mission through their daily lives.
Discipleship And Kingdom Advancement: Applying Faith To Daily Life And Ministry
And our primary eternal mission of course is to become more like Jesus, to Disciple others. But everything in life is a ministry field. And this is also designed to help men under uncover their unique talents, the general gifts, beyond spiritual gifts and how they can be turned to build the kingdom. And this is inspired by getting to know guys who had been, really violent, very successful drug dealing, outlaw biker gang members who are now using those skills because their skills, not the killing parts of the law breaking part, but their personalities and strengths to build the kingdom of God. True. And they've proven it over three decades that they're genuine. So Daniel, when the time is right, I'm going to be in touch with people about how we do this. But part of this is how do we respond to news like the election yesterday? Biblically, rebellion, men. Our first thought is not, oh my gosh, our party lost separate. Our first thought is, okay, what does Jesus do about this? What does he think? And it's definitely not to react in fear and it's to lead. I got a note from a guy more mature in the faith than I am. Yesterday he was just reminding all of us brothers that our enemy is not flesh and blood. He sent that very early the morning of the election to a lot of guys. I'm sure. he didn't group text it, but I bet he copied and pasted it to a bunch of his brothers.
Reflections on Election Outcomes, Media Portrayals, And Contentious Social Issues
That's what a biblically rebellious man does. this comes from, M. Marilyn. Todd. This is, yesterday I did a monologue about how I was surprisingly feeling okay after the election. And it was bizarre. I woke with God's transcendent peace. I have never been less bothered by an election outcome. And I credit that entirely to the Holy Spirit. You know, I've been political most of my life. I've been politically active and involved in, you know, in depth and in truth and in action. How old am I? For 25 years. Yesterday was the least bothered I'd been about an election. I was just reflecting on how the grandeur of God, so Marilyn writes, Todd, you kept saying you were okay after the election. On your show today. I'm here to tell you that you came off as anything but okay. The two clips you played were really disturbing in that I'm wondering why you didn't play them as a Halloween special. That's a good line. In all seriousness, you most certainly should have given parents, of afr audience a disclaimer to move the kiddos away. I'm talking about the spelling bee skit about a woman's definition and the ever creepy doctor who Only made female babies survive. The doctor skit really made my skin crawl. You took it too far. My opinion is you need to give, transgender anything. Arrest, man, you're preaching to the choir. I need to add you to my prayer list. I'm glad you're on afr, but in all honesty, I do turn you off. Some of your content is so negative and repetitive, Marilyn. And, then she close, with a quote from the Lord Jesus. Marilyn, I a thank you for the note. Thank you for listening.
Addressing Concerns About Content And The Persistence Of Discussing Gender Identity
I listened back to that segment. Yeah, it's not. It wasn't a good segment. It did come off well. and the doctor, by the way, in that parody, he wasn't killing the babies. He was doing wrong sex surgeries on them, in the womb. And it was Saturday Night Live making fun of such a thing. And now they're doing things like that. So this segment didn't come off well. I can't tell you, dear Marilyn sister, that I'm going to stop talking about people, who are gender defiant and gender rebellious and the mutilation of children, because I know I haven't made an impact yet because people are still using the word transgender, which does not exist. It is the language of the enemy. There is no such thing as a transgender person. The Lord made us in his image. In his image. He made us male and female in his image. So I appreciate the note. You're right about the segment. It did not come off well. Not like I heard it in my head. Thank you, Meryl. Appreciate you very, very much. Thank you, dear friend. This is from Kristie Anyabwile, writing from Texas, as you'll see. Good morning. I woke up yesterday feeling anxious and weary.
Finding Peace and Encouragement Through Faith Amidst Election Anxiety And Uncertainty
As a Texas resident, this election hit hard. Unlike, a presidential election, this one is in my own backyard. And my heart is broken for the people of Texas. I can't believe that Texans put such a heretical. Put such heretical people in the office who oppose my Lord and His ways. They stand for everything that Texans are against. I was saddened to think that these are the people that the people of Texas actually want representing them and our state. But on my porch yesterday morning, the sun still rose over South Texas. The white dove still cooed. I was reminded that God is still on his throne and all things happen according to his goodwill. Then when I listened to your post election show on AFR and you spoke of the beautiful Idaho morning and the moonrise you'd witnessed, and having the peace of God that surpassed understanding, I was encouraged. In my spirit, I wanted to say thank you. Let, you know that God has blessed me through your testimony, encouragement. So thank you, brother, and everyone at AFR for what you do. Galatians 6, 9. Let us not become weary in doing good for the proper time. At the proper time. We will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Praise God. Thank you. Thank you, everybody who wrote in. And still varying degrees of acceptance of what happened. Let's accept that it's God's will. Whatever happened. Let's be thankful that he's told us that he turns bad for good.
Leveraging Cultural Moments For Testimony And Spiritual Growth
Now we're called to be in the world, not of it. What are the things we do if we're going to be truly biblically rebellious as we look for moments of testimony that we can use to help plant the seed in others, Even when it comes from culture, or maybe even. Especially when it comes from culture. This had escaped my attention. I didn't watch the World Series. I respect baseball as a sport and athleticism. It's just not my game. But this is the new World Series champion. Cooper Pratt.
Cooper Pratt One of the greatest moments of my life. Oh, my gosh. It doesn't even feel real. Like, I don't know. This is. This is surreal.
Celebrating Athletic Achievement Through Faith And Gratitude To God
Only took four months. Great
Speaker H the way you played baseball, especially in this World Series. Cooper, how do you explain raising your leg to this level?
Speaker I Oh, my gosh. I mean, we have the best
Cooper Pratt fans. It's loud. It's crazy. The pressure is out of this world. It's some of the hardest but most fun baseball I've ever been a part of until I messed up a lot of times this postseason. But the guys picked me up, and we're here, and world champions, and it's. It's so special, man. I'm so blessed. I owe it all to my heavenly Father. It's amazing.
Todd Herman I owe it all to my heavenly Father. Thank you for working God into that and. And catching yourself in your excitement and your shock and your awe and remembering who gave it to you in that time in your life as you celebrate. It's super easy to celebrate God at those times, those big moments. It's super easy to fall on our knees and beg God's help. It's really hard to pray for wrath.
Preparing For Future Challenges And Praying For Enemies Amidst Global Turmoil
I don't know what's going to turn around. the separate countries of Washington, and Oregon and Illinois and. Dear God, it looks like Michigan. I know we're in a spiritual battle. I know we need to steel ourselves. I know we need to get ready for what's coming. And Marilyn was saying that I'm often very negative. I want to make sure that everybody understands we're simply going into a period of time that the Lord said we would go through. We're in the boat with him. Jesus isn't back. He's not going to panic. Whenever he chooses to calm the storm, he'll simply say, be calm and all things will calm. We're in his loving grasp. We can't be snatched from his hand. These are all reasons for optimism. I'm simply wanting people to steal themselves or as the Bible might say, gird their loins, to wear the armor, to prepare for what's coming and to practice praying for our enemies and in fact praying for vile people. This is a major thing that we do if we're truly biblically rebellious. We hear about news like I'm about to tell you and we pray for the person and I am horrible at it. So heads up. This is a very disturbing news story. It will take about, 30 seconds to read. A mother is out on bail in the separate country of Washington after stabbing her four year old son, leaving him with 15 cuts and strains of, strangulation. Her nine year old daughter escaped and called 911. Brenda Doreen Wilder Brown is 43. She charged with two counts of attempted murder on a May 16th attack that happened in Bellingham, Washington, which is north of Seattle by the Canadian border. So it was around 4. 39 year old daughter ran to a neighbor's house saying her mother was stabbing her four year old brother. I ran as fast as I could. It was the scariest thing ever, she said. The boy suffered stab wounds, 15 cuts, looked like she tried to strangle him. The mother, Wilder Brown, was sitting in flower bushes covered in blood. She had apparently taken, psychotropic, psychotropic mushrooms. There was apparently a blood thrust done. She was super high on mushrooms. Wildly available in the separate country of Washington state. Encouraged, promoted, allowed, effectively decriminalized. she's been let out. A judge let her out. She tried to murder her two kids and her. The judge said you can go home. She was able to meet Baal at $50,000. She's out. She can go do this again. And we have to pray for her, obviously pray for her kids and their safety, but we have to pray for her. We can take a model of prayer from the country of Nigeria where Christians are being slaughtered. Friends, this is the sound of northern Nigerian Christians worshiping Jesus Christ.
Learning From Persecuted Christians And Praying For Global Peace And Faith
Hm. We can take lessons from people who are being oppressed. I was just listening to some Libyan Christians talking in the radio, in fact, going back and forth in English and Arab. We can pray for the kids, all of the kids in Gaza, all of the loss of life, that Christ will shine through this and bring people to himself. That all through Israel, people will be coming to the Lord Jesus. All through Nigeria, we can pray for that. Pray it with glad hearts and with a strong expectation that many are about to come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We'll come back under Disciples View.

Zach has been noticing something about people's retirement accounts and it reveals a blind spot. And a lot of people, even financial managers and even some fiduciaries are, just blind to something. Discussing Surveillance, Control States, And The Intersection Of Technology And Rights
Welcome back from the Disciples Disciples view. I'm Todd Herman and we'll get to the tower of babbling. In a personal note in, in just a moment, quick question about the surveillance and control states and you'll hear more about that on Monday. In fact, we'll talk about it a bit tomorrow too. I, I talked to an investigative reporter yesterday. and that investigative reporter lives, in Arizona. She used to be a mainstream television reporter working for the Mockingbird Media for gosh, What'd she say, 30 years? 20 years. Her name is Jen Barber and she, started seeing all these cameras popping up in Arizona. There's Axon. That's the surveillance and control company in which the Trump family has bought a bunch of shares. there is the Flock Surveillance organization. that's the company that now that is upgrading to drones. the CEO of that company has his house blocked on Google Earth. So you can't, you know, Google Maps. You can't go see what it looks like. they have disappeared old versions of their website from the Wayback Machine. They don't like people watching what they do. And we are entering into a phase where we're going to have to have some real conversations about this and put limits on this. And even as the Democrats are using this now as a political tool, they see that the bosses of AI have adopted President Trump as their own. they've given him money and aid and help. And, last cycle they tried to destroy his election in presidential terms. And I think they succeeded in that. Now they're friendly because he's friendly to them. So the Democrats see a wedge issue. Smart move. And I will continue to insist that people can have good faith, friendly, well intended disagreements about this. I am a little torn on this particular cleanup item. I am a constitute. I'm a strict constitutionalist. I do, I do enforce my rights. I insist upon my rights being respected. I love law enforcement. I am easily moved into tears. Moved to tears. We lost two officers near where I live. It was at the top of the news on afr, like spangled Washington. They responded to a domestic violence event and a brother had shot his sister and he ended up taking one cop's life. The other officer is not expected to survive. They have an organ donation crew there. He's a. He's an organ donor. and I pray for those families. And I can, I could easily sit here and weep over that. By the same token, I am someone who, if I'm pulled over by an officer for vague reasons, I will say, with all due respect, please tell me why I was pulled over. I am someone who will not participate, in en masse license, insurance, registration stops if I'm happened to be in Virginia. they had the highway coned off and the officers were there simply, hey, it's just a random registration. insurance, driver's license check. And I'm that guy who says, hey, I understand you're just doing your job. Am, I being detained? No. I just need to see your driver's license, registration, proof of insurance. Absolutely, I'll absolutely do that if I'm being detained. And I've told the story before, so I won't belabor it, it ended with us being allowed to be let go because I Kept insisting upon my right. No unreasonable search and seizure. And, probably because a friend of mine who happened to be a DOJ attorney was in the car, and he finally lost his patience and did say, hey, I am an attorney. My friend's not, but I am. And you're violating the constitution. So no animus towards the officers, no anger. Simply, I insist upon my rights being upheld. But I'm really torn on this one. Really, really torn. So this police officer demanded ring camera footage from a homeowner without a warrant.

Speaker P what's going on. But I'm sleep. It's three in the morning. I can go to work at
Speaker L BE up instead. You. You went on the handcuffs over nothing. That's literally all you got to do is pick it up, show us. Hey, it's not recording. Okay. Have a good night. I'm sorry I woke you up.
Todd Herman I'm torn. The. The context is the officers were investigating a really serious crime and her ring doorbell surveillance system, because their surveillance cameras, they surveil you and your whole neighborhood. It could have helped solve the crime. Now, personally, me, if an officer came to me and said, look, this could help us solve a crime. There has been a shooting. Will you let us look at this personally for me? I don't think that violates my rights. I would say, yes, absolutely. Let's do that. If they came to me and said, give that to me right now, or I'm turning it off the wall, I have to say, ah, no, not that way.

Jeff Chamblee You know, about the biblical truth at the Tower of Babel. A Disciples View presents.
Jeff Chamblee Who doesn't love a yellow school bus?
Donald Trump Trans women are women, trans men and men and non binary people are non binary.
Abdul Rahman Mohammad Said If the prosecutor's not fired, you're not getting the money.
Jeff Chamblee The tower of Babbling.
Todd Herman Three sound bites in today's tower babbling. Megan Rapinoe, whose professional soccer team of women lost, got absolutely destroyed, by a team of junior high boys. Can't wait for more so called trans athletes.
Megan Rapinoe By the way. Sports is not fair in any sort of way ever. Right? Also the just the needle thread to even be a professional athlete
Speaker T and to like be a trans
Megan Rapinoe person, it's just, I think most people just want to participate and play. And I, can't wait to see an elite, elite trans person play sports. That'll be great.
Todd Herman Well then it will be the end of women's sports. And what a weird thing to say. Sports isn't fair in any way. Why do you have refs? Why do you keep score? Why is there such a thing as tackling, in soccer or going offside? Shouldn't you be able to go anywhere on the field? Why is there a limit on the number of players on the field with each team at one time? Why is that? Why can't you just pick up the soccer ball and run with it? Oh, that's right. Because sports isn't fair in any way, shape, matter, idea, faction or form. Thank you, Megan. Next sound bites in today's time, babbling from our own Supreme Court, Justice Kagan calls constitutional originalism not a good match with the Constitution.
Elena Kagan So there are just ways in which originalism doesn't work. So I think that the whole project is kind of misconceived and it's not a very good match with the Constitution we have, which is a constitution that, does not speak in terms of specific practices, but that indulges in many hazy generalities.
Todd Herman No, it doesn't. It limits the rights of government. That's its job. The job of the Constitution is to limit rights of government. It's so bizarre to hear a lawyer on the Supreme Court say this, try this in front of a judge. Violate a business contract. Go in front of a judge and say, you Know, your honor, when this contract was written, things were really different. It was a different time and money was thought of as differently. And I'm not a, I'm not a contractual originalist. It's a living, breathing document. Your honor, I was just talking to a friend of mine the other day, who has a guy who's stealing his home. He refuses to pay rent and refuses to leave. But you signed a contract. Yeah, but I'm not a, I'm not a contractual originalist. It's a living, breathing document. So bizarre last sound bites in today's tower babbling A look back at history.
Reviewing Historical Predictions And Examining Current Societal Trends
Seventeen years ago, Al Gore predicted this.
Al Gore Some of the models suggest to Dr. Maslowski that there is a 75% chance that the entire north polar ice cap during summer, during some of the summer months could be completely ice free within the next five to seven years.
Todd Herman 70% of some of the models suggest in some ways that during a limited portion of time, on days that end with a G or a Y, there could be a, some melting ice. That's a heck of a prediction, Al. And that's a wrap for today's tower babbling.

Exploring Interpersonal Faith Encounters And The Nuances Of Religious Beliefs
Todd Herman On a personal note today, there really are truly peaceful Muslim people. and I full on believe everything I told you about the coming war, the spiritual war. I believe Islamism, is the false faith that is going to be the one world faith of Satan and the one world government is, is, is Sharia. I truly believe that. And there really are, and I hope you get to experience this. There really are wonderful and interesting Islamic people. In the times that I've traveled, when I used to do a lot of it, I do take an occasion if it's, you know, if it's culturally okay to ask people questions, about their faith. And I went to dinner alone, on a business trip in NewSong York and I happened to go to a restaurant that was serving Islamic food. And I'm just trying it culturally. And I eat early, you know, I'm in bed. Good Lord. If I'm doing things right, I'm asleep by 7:30 at night and sometimes 7. And so even then I ate earlier than most people. NewSong York is a late dinnertime place. people don't really even. Dinner doesn't really get busy in my memory until 8 o', clock, 8pm and sometimes prime dinner time is 10pm It's a very different way of living. And so I got to this restaurant, and I was kind of the only person there. So I just said, hey, why don't I just sit at the bar? And first thing I notice is, oh, no alcohol. Oh, cool. Nothing against people who drink alcohol, but, oh, wow, okay. This is really Islamic. And I'm sitting there and just the things I've read. I said to the gentleman, I said, should. Should I take my shoes off? And he got this incredible look on his face. He goes, no, sir. No, sir, it's not a temple. It's just a restaurant. Okay? I. You know, I don't know anything. Are you Islamic? Are you Muslim? He goes, yes, sir. Yes, sir. I said, okay, let me think. Asalam alaika waglaika salaam. I said, did I say that right? He goes, yeah, okay, so I'm a Christian. I've just read about these things, and I've never really got to talk with a Muslim before. And is this your restaurant, sir? He goes, yes, yes, yes. Me and my family. And I said, as I like, is it okay if we just talk a little bit? And I asked him, as I was eating the appetizers, he was so, solicitous of my opinion. What do you think of the food? And, I remember seeing around the corner a, ah, face peek out, in the kitchen. I said, oh, pardon me, is that your wife? He goes, no, no, no, no. This is my sister. And, I asked him, why'd you come? Why did you come here to America? He said, for my children. For my children, we can own things here. This is my restaurant. And, by the grace of God, I have this restaurant. And if we do a good job with people, people tell people, we have Jewish people come and eat, and they are friendly people. Christians like you come and eat, and they are friendly people. And they tell friends. And this can be something my family owns, my children can choose to have, I think. He says, my sons want. For. They want to be lawyers. And my daughters and the family, the rest of them want to run the restaurant. And before that, for there is freedom. There's. I get to learn from people like you. There is freedom here. There's freedom. And I said, was there not freedom where you came from? He goes, no, sir. No, sir. Only freedom for the powerful. And I said, may I ask you a super tough question? Yes. What did you think of 9 11? He goes, hold on. And he came out and he showed me a picture of a fire crew that he welcomed into his restaurant. And fed as they celebrated the, life of a brother they lost in there. He said it was my honor. They are just up this street. They are the brave men. They are the brave men. And we supplied the food, and they supplied the safety. And, man, let's never forget that the Lord created us in his image. He loves people in his image. We have a mission field before us to go and make disciples of all nations and all districts, even here in the United States. In the beginning of His Word. The Word is with God. The Word was God. Until God grants us permission to speak again to them, his peace wash over you. On behalf of Randy and afr I'm Todd Herman, and this has been a, Disciples.

Navigating Retirement Accounts and Identifying Blind Spots in Financial Planning
A lot of you guys know that, every Friday I have my friend Zach Abraham, Chief Investment Officer, Bulwark Capital on with me for a faith filled finance segment. Zach has been noticing something about people's retirement accounts and it reveals a blind spot. And a lot of people, even financial managers and even some fiduciaries are, just blind to something. They're so focused on AI, they're so focused on sugar highs in the stock market and not really digging into what is, what's, what's driving this. Guys, it's government spending, it's data center building. Those are the two pillars holding up the American economy. But there's a massive blind spot and it might be in your retirement account. My friend Zach Abraham will give you three free, no obligation consultations where they will look at your account with a fine tooth comb and they'll tell you what they find. If they can help you, they'll make that clear. If you're in good stead, they won't even let you change. It's easy to sign up.
Navigating Law Enforcement Interactions And The Dilemma Of Surveillance Footage
Speaker J You
Speaker K pull it up and
Speaker L show me that it's not working, and I'll leave you alone. Otherwise, I'm ripping it off the wall. I'm writing a search warrant, and I'm gonna keep you up all night. I ain't gonna rip myself, and I have nothing. You had.
Speaker M You had an opportunity,
Speaker L and this is where we're at. Pull off your phone and show me that it didn't work. I could have did that.
Speaker M I didn't ask for this. I did. You never.
Donald Trump I heard it up
Speaker N on the staircase, and I heard it over there. I heard her, ask you
Donald Trump switch. You could
Speaker O pull it up
Donald Trump and what you said, you said, I'm not doing that. No,
Speaker P I did not. I said, it's dead. Which it is dead. It's been de this morning. It's
Abdul Rahman Mohammad Said recording us right now.
Speaker Q Recording. I promise you
Speaker P what's going on.
Engaging With Listeners On Surveillance Ethics And Constitutional Interpretations
Should I even have that difference? Where do you think you would fall on that? You can hit me up@comments afr.net, we can address this next week, or you can email me from my website, the todhermanshow.com just pick the drop down menu, show item that will come straight to me. On Disciples View, we thank the Lord for placing supposedly wise people on tall towers of shaking sand, as he just did in this election with their feature called the Tower of Babbling.
Speaker W Muslims are the face of modern day Britain. The
Todd Herman religion of Islam
Speaker W is one
Todd Herman of
Speaker W peace.
Jeff Chamblee That was the Tower of Babylon on a disciple's view.
