A Call to Resilience: Don't Curl Up, Toughen Up After Election Setbacks
Bishop EW Jackson And welcome everybody to the Hamilton Corner. Sitting in for Abraham M. Hamilton III. Yours truly, Bishop E.W. jackson. Great to be with you again tonight. I know that we are licking our wounds after the election on Tuesday, but I've got some things to say and I want to hear what you have to say about the outcome. the first thing I want to say is before we get into anything else is this. Don't curl up, toughen up. Don't curl up, toughen up. Don't curl up into a fetal position. And woe is me. And this is terrible. And we're now going to mourn and, and, and, and whine. No, no, no, we are going to simply get tougher because we know that we are in a long term battle to save our country. This is the scripture that the Lord reminded me of when the outcome was clear.
Lessons from Judges: The Perilous Journey and the Tribe of Benjamin's Downfall
You all remember In Judges chapter 20, there is a Levite, from the area of Ephraim. And he has a concubine who runs off back to her father's house. The nature of that relationship is not entirely clear, but obviously this is his woman. So she goes back to her father's house. He sets out to go get her, spends her time with her father. Father apparently has a good relationship with this, with her, with this man. And after some days there they set out to go back home. And in the course they end up in a town in Gilead, in Benjamin territory, the tribe of Benjamin. And they're going to stay in the open square because he didn't have any place to stay. And a man invites him to come to his home and stay there. Hospitality, Middle Eastern hospitality, Jewish hospitality. And so he goes and stays with the man. Well, in the course of that evening, some men show up. Just has happened, in Sodom and Gomorrah, some men show up and they want to have sex with the man who is visiting. They demand that he be sent out so that they can rape him. finally they unable to reason with the, this, this, this sex crazed mob, they send the woman out. Well, they abuse the woman all night long, the woman returns, and at the front steps of this home, falls down dead. He takes her body, cuts it up, and sends it to the four corners of Israel to, as a testimony of the evil that these Benjamites have done, 11 tribes gather together and say, these men must be held accountable. They go to the leaders of the tribe of Benjamin, say, produce these men. They must be held accountable.
Divine Guidance Amidst Defeat: The Israelites' Persistent Pursuit of Justice
And the Benjamites say, we're not producing them for you, and we're not holding them accountable. Tribe, of Benjamin at that point, has obviously reached a very, very low level of depravity. And, the other 11 tribes say, well, then, if you will not produce these men who have done this wickedness, it is war. So they gather together and they attack the tribe of Benjamin. In the first battle against 11 tribes to one, the 11 tribes lose 22,000 men. They are routed. They are absolutely decimated. Well, obviously, they go to God, say, lord, wait, wait, wait. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Lord, we are on the right side of this issue. We are trying to bring justice to the situation. We are. Why in the world are we being routed this way? Should we. Are, we on the wrong track here? Should we just give this up and go home? God says, no, go up again. They go up again. They lose another 18,000 men. Now, that's a total of 40,000 fatalities. 40,000 fatalities in two battles. Well, needless to say, at this point, they're even more chagrined and thinking, man, we somehow, we may not be hearing God right. I mean, what is going on? They go to God again and say, lord, what should we do? And God says, go up again. And of course, when they go up again, they completely route the Benjaminites. They all, practical purposes, kill almost all the men in the tribe, so much so that they feel guilty about having destroyed a tribe of Israel and decide that, you know what? We're going to. We're going to do something to try to rebuild the tribe that. The tribe of Benjamin, I should say, we're going to do something, try to rebuild the tribe of Benjamin because we don't want to destroy a whole tribe of God's people. My point is, they didn't win the first time, they didn't win the second time. And in fact, the defeats were absolutely cataclysmic. But God had a plan. You say, well, Bishop Jackson, why in the world would God allow them to lose all those people? They were fighting for the right cause. They were trying to bring justice, for this dead woman and for the man who had been victimized by having her killed. well, I tell you, I think the answer is this.
God's Plan for Resilience: Enduring Hardship and Avoiding Wimpish Dependence
You know, God is not our on call magician, okay? God does work miracles in our behalf. And God does do marvelously supernatural things to help us. There's no question about it. But I'll tell you what God doesn't do. God doesn't want to turn us into wimps depending upon miraculous intervention and never expecting to have to suffer any defeat, any setback, any hardship, so that we are really, end up being wet noodles who fold at the least bit of difficulty. That's why I said we gotta toughen up, not curl up. I mean, imagine the children of Israel say, you know what, Lord? We don't care what you say. I mean that, that's, 22,000. That's it. And we're done. We're going, we're going home. But they stuck with it and they ultimately won the battle and ultimately justice prevailed.
Facing Setbacks with Faith: The Importance of Fighting On and Trusting God's Plan
So I say the same thing to us here. We've suffered a tremendous setback. We've suffered a tremendous setback, but we have to fight on. You know, there's a song I love, it goes, in this life we face many battles but they're not yours. They belong to the Lord. Put on the armor of God. delight yourself in his word but don't give up the fight. It's too late to give up now. We've already made a decision for Jesus Christ. We're not giving up. Don't give up the fight. The war was won by Jesus on a hill called Calvary when he gave his life for you and me. So wipe your eyes, don't cry because everything is going to be all right. Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning time so fight on, Fight through the rain Fight through the pain Fight when you're up Fight when you're down Fight through those fears Press through those tears Jesus is on the throne. So I would say that to you right now. We've got to fight on. And, ah, we're going to get into some of the specifics and later on I want to hear what you think. And so I want to share with you my, thoughts because they're a little different than what we're hearing from most people. You know, we're hearing that, we suffered this loss because of the war in Iran.
Critique of Iran Policy: A Call for Stronger Action Against a Regime of Terror
I believe that may be in part true, but I think that's only true in the sense that I do really believe that President Trump did not make a mistake by depriving Iran of the ability to have nuclear weapons. That, that was nothing wrong about what he did, regardless of the political outcome. But I do believe that the back and forth of, oh, they want to negotiate, no, they want a deal and all that. I mean, that to me, and of course, I had the utmost respect for President Trump and his negotiating ability. I don't know who he was listening to, who was advising him, but that to me is living in la la land. I don't believe that the Iranian regime has any interest whatsoever in negotiating any kind of peace deal, any kind of arrangement. I think these people are fanatical, apocalyptic nutcases, and given the opportunity, they will destroy America and destroy Israel. They are the biggest exporter of terrorism in the world. These people are not interested in negotiation. They're madmen. They're not rational, not in the sense that we think of it, of rationality. And I think he would have been better off to just go in there and just wipe that regime out. I mean, just absolutely wipe them out, destroy all their infrastructure, just bomb them back into the Stone Age, and then let some new leadership arise out of that, that maybe would be willing, seeing those results, would be willing to negotiate, would be willing to talk. So I think that, that the way it's been handled has hurt us because, you know, the back and forth, and we're fighting and we're not fighting and we're negotiating and they don't want to negotiate and they want to make a deal. They don't want to make a deal. I, just don't think, I don't think that's been a good look, even for those of us who are completely supportive of the President's policies and the general direction in which he's trying to lead the country. And if that's true for people like me, who, is an unequivocal supporter of President Trump, what in the world do you think that means for people kind of, kind of like him and kind of like some of the things he does, but they don't have the same level of enthusiasm. They don't see him as the historic figure that has really, at least for the time he's in office, saved America, that some of us do.
Republican Inaction: Failure to Codify Policies and Secure the Nation's Future
So I think that's been part of the explanation. I don't think the war itself is the problem, but I do think that the back and forth and the way it's been handled is part of the problem, and may well have led to some diminution in the level of support that the President might normally have gotten. But I want to know what you think about it, whether you think that played any role at all and whether the back and forth has bothered you at all. so that's one. But here's the second thing that I heard. I've heard this mentioned, but it's not given enough attention. You know, the Republicans are, I'll tell you, the Republican Party establishment. I mean, what, what analogy can I use here that is that, that, that maintains the classiness of this networking program? Because I tell you, I tell you, some not very nice metaphors come to mind because, you know, I think, I think Ron DeSantis is absolutely right. This Senate, for example, they could have done away with the filibuster. They could have passed some laws that would have been on the books and would have been impossible for the Democrats to undo because the President would have the veto pen and it could have changed the nature of our country for perhaps generations to come. Literally. But they wouldn't do it. They didn't pass the Save America Act. there are a bunch of appointments that have never been made. Now we'll see whether they finally buckle in and say, now we got to get all these judicial appointments made in behalf of the President so that we make sure that we have some conservative, some constitutionalists, some textualists, who are in the pipeline maybe for the Supreme Court at some point. When the time comes that we have another Republican president, another conservative president, I should say, more importantly, they just basically did nothing.
Disappointment in Republican Leadership and a Look Ahead to Voter Engagement
And I think it really is quite disappointing and disgusting because they should have known that the moment might come when the Democrats would be back in control and they should have done everything they could to solidify, to codify the President's, executive orders and policies that he's put in place in regulations. Unless they do something in the lame duck session, the Democrats will come in and they will do their demonic best to undo everything the President has done, basically by harassing the whole regulatory apparatus. Folks, this is Abraham Hamilton III's program, the Hamilton Corner. I'm just sitting in for that great young man. This is Bishop E.W. jackson. I'll be talking to you shortly. Got one more set of things I want to say to you and then I want to open up the lines so we can talk about this debacle that just happened on November 3rd. Back in a moment.
The Republican Establishment's Failure to Protect American Values and Citizens

Abraham Hamilton III Shining light into the darkness. This is the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
Bishop EW Jackson And this is Bishop E.W. jackson and Abraham Hamilton III. So, as I was saying, I, I really believe that there is a lot of disgust and disenchantment with the Republican establishment, with, Senator Thune and, that whole crowd up there who basically in the Senate have done nothing. I think they should have done away with the filibuster and I think they should have jammed through every piece of legislation they could. Why didn't we pass federal legislation that would protect young people, minors, against being, physically mutilated by this whole transgender madness? why didn't we pass legislation that would protect an unborn baby from being murdered up until the moment of birth and perhaps in some cases even after birth? Why didn't we pass a Born Alive Infant Protection Act? why didn't we, pass the Save America Act? We could have. Without the filibuster. We could have so that you can't vote in our elections. If you can't prove that you are an American citizen. What is the problem?
Strategic Political Mobilization: Understanding and Countering the Democratic Coalition
What is so radical? What is so wrong? What is so right wing about that? it's basic common sense. And one could go on and on. I mean, the things that the President has done. Why didn't we pass, legislation that would enshrine border security as a matter of law and make it impossible for any president, unless he is going to violate the law completely, to open up those borders and start allowing people in on any basis whatsoever. Why didn't we do that? But they didn't. I've got m an even more profound question than that, because that, that, that to me is really the short term question, something that the, the things they could have done in the last two years of the President Trump's second term. But folks, and this one really makes my blood boil, I have to say, I have been saying for maybe 30, 35 years, maybe longer than that, the Republican Party and the conservative movement has a ready constituency in black churches and Christians who are socially conservative, but they are politically liberal. Because the demon crats with their lies, their deceptions have convinced them that even though you may not agree with us on abortion, even though you may not agree with us on same sex marriage, those Republicans are so racist and they so want to enslave you and they so want to lynch you. And they so want to destroy your life that you've got to vote for us just for your survival. I mean, if George Bush gets elected, he's going to put you back into slavery. As Joe Biden said, they're going to put you all back in chains. In all of his famed so called black intonation that he could muster. I mean, why have the Republicans sat by? let me give you a fact, folks, that you will find stunning. And you may have heard me say this before, but if you haven't, this will stun you. And if you have, the reminder is really poignant. Twenty years ago, liberal millionaires and billionaires got together with Stacey Abrams and she laid out a plan that said we can take Georgia from the Republicans, we can take Georgia from conservatives, and here's how we do it. Now, this wasn't her plan, wasn't original to her. Others had come up with this. We, we radically racialize the black community. We keep pounding, home. This lies propaganda you're under. You're in danger from the racist. America's a white supremacist nation and they're out to get. They're out to destroy you. And you better be on your guard. And you better vote for us because we're the ones who are going to protect you. We are your little mini messiahs. You better vote for us. Don't let all that Christian stuff get in your way. Because, yeah, you, you might enjoy going to church, but I tell you, you let, you let all those bad white people get a hold of you and they're going to destroy you. M. Now, folks that I know that's dark, but that's really what they've been doing. And then the other thing you do is all the foreigners, the foreigners quote, unquote of color, which I ridicule that notion because I've never met a person who didn't have color. Have you? But you know, that's their little cute way of dividing people into people of color, I guess. Both the people who don't have color, I mean. Oh, boy. Oh, Lord, I'll tell you, I, you know, I just drip with disdain for that nonsense. But let's cobble together all those people. Asians, Hispanics, Africans, West Indians, you, name it. Indians, anybody we can cobble together. You know, the people of color need to stick together. And then we radicalize the young people with a whole lot of Marxist indoctrination and a whole lot of sexual deviancy nonsense to tell them. You know, they don't want Social justice for you because you're lgbtq, and we want you to be lgbtq, and we want to have justice for you. You cobble all that together, and it's what they called and still call a new American majority. And they agreed that if we can do this, we can take Georgia. Well, guess what, folks? They just took it. But it didn't happen overnight.
The Consequences of Leftist Victories and the Need for Strong Conservative Leadership
I mean, you've now got, in Georgia, a demon crack governor and two Demon Crat senators. And look, we're not talking about moderate Democrats. I mean, Raphael Warner, Warlock, I call him Warnock, is about as far left wing as you get. I mean, he might as well be a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, because this is the guy who says that he thinks it's important to teach Christians, Karl Marx teachings that they'll be better off when they. When they. When they study Karl Marx and the Communist Manifesto. I, kid you not, folks. He said so in his book. I read it. I read the whole book. But, I mean, I read that passage in the book, and you got Jon Ossoff running around talking about the president is wicked and he's delusional, but the Democrat Party. Well, look, so I'm angry about this because I've been trying to get Republicans to understand. You better invest in breaking the back of this coalition, because the Demon Crat party depends upon winning somewhere between 85 and 95% of the black vote in order to be electorally successful in states where you've got a significant black population. And by significant, I mean generally 25% and more. I think Georgia's about 33%. And that's why they've taken Georgia. Virginia's 20%. And it certainly helped them to take Virginia because Abigail Spinberger, who just became governor, got 93% of the black vote. 93%, say Bishop Jackson. Well, why don't you do something about that? Well, that's a good question. Somebody wants to give me, 25, 50, $100 million to work on this. I guarantee I can solve this problem. I guarantee I can solve it.
Republican Complacency vs. Democratic Urgency: A Call to Wake Up and Act
But, you know, while these billionaires are pouring money into people like Stacey Abrams and some of these other knuckleheads and. And. And the rest of us are running around, you know, scrambling, trying to raise 25, 50, 100,000 bucks. I mean, what do you expect the outcome to be? I m. Mean, it's. It's. It's ridiculous. We need to. We need to wake up. When I say we, I mean these Republicans need to wake up, because, you see, they don't take this approach. We are trying to save our country. You know what their approach is? We're the noblesse oblige who have to rule over the rabble. And you know, we're not interested in doing anything significant but, but we just want to preside over whatever's happening. I mean that's really the mentality. Because if they really believe that America is under existential threat by these Marxists and socialists and sexual deviants, they would take action to protect this country from them. But they don't. Here's the final thought when we come back from the break. I want to take your calls, the numbers 888-589-8840 and I want to get your take on why you think this has happened. And I. Look, I'm not suggesting I'm covering all the factors, but I'm certainly covering a couple of very important ones. Here's the other thing.
Global Celebrations: China and Iran Rejoice in American Democratic Setbacks
You know who's celebrating? In addition to the Demon Crat party, you know who else is celebrating? Communist China is celebrating. Oh yeah, Xi Jinping said, this is, this is great. This is great. You know what he said? He said this just goes to prove, to prove that Americans are getting tired of democracy. You know what that tells me? That tells me he knows that the Democrat party doesn't care about any democracy. They care about ruling the same way he does. That's why they got a hold of California. What do you got? One party rule. They got a hold of Illinois. What have you got? One party rule. They got a hold of Massachusetts. What do you got? One party rule. Vermont, what do you got? One party rule. Now you got Maine. One party rule. Everywhere they get their clutches, everywhere they get their, their, their, their talons into the body. Politicians, they want to turn it into a one party system where they cannot be challenged in the madness that they want to impose upon the people.
The Muslim Brotherhood and Growing Islamic Influence in American Politics
Know who else is celebrating? The Iranian regime. They're celebrating, I mean the biggest exporter of terrorism in the world is celebrating the fact that Democrats got elected because they know Democrats will let them pretty much do whatever they want to do, including get a nuclear weapon. Because they're too busy trying to get power in America to care about the long term safety and security of the American people. Because that's not their m. Primary interest, if it's in an interest at all. Their interest is in getting power and they'll do that by any means necessary. That's sort of a communist doctrine, a principle. So they are celebrating, you know, celebrating the Muslim Brotherhood, the head of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt has said this is a wonderful thing that's happened in America. Not only have the demon crats taken over, but look, they've just elected, I forget whether it's eight or nine, but they've elected non Muslims in this cycle, including re electing Ilhan Omar or whatever her real name is, Abdul Rahman M El Sayed. We've got in Virginia now a Muslim m Lieutenant governor and there have been a number of others who have been elected around the country. And as I've said, Ilhan Omar. I don't know whether you, if you have a chance to check out my, my podcast which posted this morning on afr.net, but Ilhan Omar said it's no longer inshallah, which means I, guess God's will be done. But there's another long Arabic word that means praise Allah because now in their view, Allah's will has been done and Muslims have won in their elections around America. Now does that sound like somebody celebrating America's interests or somebody celebrating the interests of Islam?
Societal Decay and the Republican Establishment's Failure to Grasp the Crisis
And yet this is what the demon crats are bringing us. I don't know whether you heard about this, but a town in California has just, legalized, throuples, which I guess is three people and quadruples, which is poor people, ah, in what they call domestic, partnerships. I mean they're ultimately moving toward making those things that, those abominations, marriages. That's what they want. I think Cambridge, Massachusetts has the same thing. This, this, this weirdness is what they want for America. This is the direction which they're leading us. And, and having taken Texas, having taken Georgia, having taken South Carolina, I mean these bastions, what were once bastions of conservatism, we got a problem, folks. We got a problem. And, and, and it, it Republic, the Republican establishment is not going to solve it because they don't even know what the problem is. See, they are trying to win elections. Democrats are trying to take the country over. That is a major distinction. We're trying to keep Americans free. They're trying to get power to control Americans. And I don't think the Republican establishment, even understands that. I really don't. You do? I do. Many of us understand it. But, but I don't think they.
Prioritizing Spiritual and Moral Realities Over Short-Term Economic Interests for National Salvation
And this whole notion, sadly that even some Republicans and conservatives have. Well, you know, I'm not happy with, the economy and gas prices are too high and I'm going to give the other guys a chance and see whether gas prices come down. If you vote, if you vote your economic interests over the spiritual and cultural and moral realities that we are confronted with, you're going to end up impoverished both economically and culturally. In other words, you're not going to get either one in the long term because these people are not. These people don't know anything about what it takes to make the American economy work. I believe that we are about to see one of the biggest booms in the history of this nation with all this new investment in our country. I really believe that when we get this whole Iran situation settled and oil prices come down and all this investment starts to wash through the economy, all of these new plants being built that President Trump threw, these tariffs that everybody's saying that people are, they think the tariffs caused their prices to increase. We got a 3.3% growth rate that we've had just in the last quarter. And I think it's even been better than that in prior quarters. I mean, we are, look, I pay high gas prices too, folks. I don't enjoy that. But I look at the long term interests of our economy and I see nothing but good days ahead unless we allow the Democrat Party to destroy it. And if it's left to the Republican establishment, that's exactly what will happen. I think it's up to you and me, with the help of the Lord to save this country. 888-589-8840 is the number.

Bishop EW Jackson this is Bishop E.W. jackson in for Abraham Hamilton III. Listen folks, I've talked to you about the Truth Tour, facts about American history, you were never taught. Well, our social media people took a speech that I gave about that and where I pointed out that only 5%, even of Southerners, actually own slaves. If you only count the patriarchs, the heads of families, only 5% actually own slaves. they put that out there on social media. And up to it, it has gotten to, I think, about 1.3 million M hits. It has gone viral because people just, I guess they're thinking, I didn't know that, because, of course, the lie that's told is that, you know, America's just steeped in slavery and everybody owns slaves and everybody was a racist, and everybody owns. I mean, So, folks, if you want me to do the Truth Tour in your area for your church, I'd be happy to come and share some of these facts about American history that are going viral on social media. Biblical Perspectives on Current Events and the Responsibility to Act
We got a lot of calls coming in, so let's get to them, shall we? Let's go to Jerry in Texas. Jerry, welcome.
Caroline Hi. Hey, Bishop Jackson, thank you so much for all your biblical commentary. I so appreciate. Now you go back to the Bible, both you and Abe. So I got a question. If we look at all this through the Bible lens, we know what the final plan is. God. There's going to be some wrath poured out, some judgment poured out on people, and we don't see America really listed in Revelation. So we know something's got to happen to us. We just heard that, they're going to withdraw, you know, negotiations and funding for Israel. And we know that in Ezekiel, Israel is going to be hung out to dry, and they're not going to have a single supporter, including the United States. You know, France is on fire, and we could become France and be looking for the Mr. Fix it, who's going to solve the world's problems. Aren't everything just falling into place right now? The way Jan Markell says that a lot of this stuff is just ultimately part of God's plan, and we just have to decide when it's going to happen as. Because it is going to happen. What say you
Bishop EW Jackson all right, Jerry, thank you for the call, and thank you for the question. I would say this. We're not at the great tribulation yet. And we are, ah, when we're in the great tribulation, if those of you who believe in the rapture, I believe we're going to be raptured out of here. And I believe that until that happens, we have a responsibility to do what Jesus said, Occupy, do business until he comes to be found faithfully representing him until he comes. And that, to me, is in every area of life. So that is. None of that moves me in any way. Yeah, I know what the outcome is. I know what the Bible teaches.
Republican Inaction and the Oath of Allegiance to the Constitution
But again, I mean, when it's ultimately out of our hands is after we're raptured out of here. And until then, I really believe that we've got to pray like everything depends upon God, and then work like everything depends upon us. Let's go to Susan in my home state of Virginia. Susan, welcome.
Caroline Hi, Bishop. Hi. This is Susan. yes, a couple of things, if you don't mind. One is, I agree with you about the, our, Congressional Republicans, Senate and Representatives, they have sat on the important issues for a long time. I don't think we'd be in this situation that we're in now, and I'm going back 20, 30 years, especially with the deficit and other issues, if they had really been concerned about doing their job. And I've also heard it positive by, political analysts that they really don't want to be in charge, that they'd much rather be in the minority. So then they can complain, and it sounds credible. And, the other item is, I've heard it. I've also had discussions about, do we have to seat these Islamists into Congress? Because if they. Especially if they swear on the Koran, that's antithetical to the Constitution. And I'll take your answer offline.
Bishop EW Jackson All ah, right, Susan, thank you very much. I appreciate the call. I tell you that, you know, the idea that Republicans would prefer to be in the minority is credible based upon the way they behave themselves.
Building Conservative Infrastructure: Lessons from Florida's Resilience and Trump's Leadership
I think the only thing that militates against that is that they like power, and I think they rather have it than not have it. But you're right, it certainly gives them an out, so they can say, well, there's nothing we could do. but I also agree with you. I think we're in this position in part because they've abdicated their political responsibility. And I think. I'll tell you, I have a lot of admiration for Governor DeSantis, because I believe he did what I've seen Republican governors fail to do. He actually built out a Republican and conservative infrastructure in Florida to help them withstand this kind of onslaught by the Democrats. And so Florida fared very well. Now, notice it was close, he said. We felt the pressure, too, but we had already laid some groundwork so that we didn't get swept away by the tsunami of this leftist wave. So, yeah, Susan, I would just say that we've got to pray and keep working and raise up some real leaders. President Trump is a leader. Whatever you might say about him, he's a leader. And by the way, I hoped our relationship with Israel doesn't change. but he is a real leader, and most people in politics aren't. They're bellwethers who figure out which way the wind is blowing and then try to run with it. It. Okay, let's go to Krish, also in Texas. Krish, welcome.
Interpreting God's Will in Elections: A Discussion on Authority, Judgment, and Human Choice
Krish, you there? Okay, not, hearing. Krish. Oh, there you go. Krish, you're there. All right.
Caroline Yes. Did you hear me?
Bishop EW Jackson I can hear you, Krish. Go right ahead.
Caroline And, in Romans 13:1, it says, for there is no power but of God and the powers that be, ordained by God. Uh-huh. So God allowed the Democrats to be elected. And I have a strong feeling that this is God's judgment on the United States.
Bishop EW Jackson All right, Krish, thank you very much for the call, my friend. I would say I respectfully disagree. I think that's a wrong reading of that text, by the way, because it doesn't say powers. It says authority. There is no authority. That's the Greek word exousia. And authority is not referring to particular individuals who might be in power at any given moment. It's just saying that authority, societal authority, is established by God so that there can be order. But Hosea, 8, 4 says, you set up kings, but not by me. You establish princes, but I do not acknowledge them. So God is saying, just because there's authority doesn't mean that the people in authority are people. I put there, Proverbs 29:2 says, when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice. When the wicked rule, the people mourn. That means there are times when the people are mourning because the wicked are ruling. It doesn't say that's the will of God. Hosea 8, 4 would imply that that's what the people themselves have chosen. And so I would say the problem is here is not God. The problem is the people went out and voted for these idiots who got elected. but thank you for the call, my friend. Let's go to Joni in Arkansas. Joni, welcome. You all made out okay in Arkansas.
Navigating Political Divides: Loyalty to Jesus vs. Party Affiliation and Discipleship
Caroline Hi.
Bishop EW Jackson Hi.
Caroline I was listening to you earlier, and you were talking about, the African American community and the Democratic Party. And I thought about this. I have a dear friend. He's black. She is a woman in her 70s. She's very educated. She is a godly woman. I met her in Bible study, and I love her to death. But we've talked politics a little bit, and she's a staunch Democrat, and she votes Democrats, period. And I asked her, I said, you know, as a Christian, so this is really for the Christian community and the Democrats platform on abortion and transgender and homosexuality and the open borders that leads to, you know, sex trafficking, human trafficking. How, as a Christian, can you vote as a Democrat? I don't understand that. And the Democrats have an African American vote tied up so much. So I don't get it. I don't understand it. And I thought maybe you could shed some light on that for me.
Bishop EW Jackson Yeah, well, I thought you were going to say. Did you ask your friend that question?
Caroline I did, and she didn't have an answer.
Bishop EW Jackson Yeah,
Caroline she just sent her mama, who was an educator, too, would die if she voted any other way of a Democrat.
Bishop EW Jackson Oh, my goodness gracious. Well, you know, thank you for the call, Joanie. I would say this, folks. let's see. We've still got some time for some more phone calls. We got some open lines. 888-589-8840.
Addressing Concerns on Energy Costs, Healthcare, and the Need for Christian Action
I would say this regardless of what a person says, about being a Christian. I would say when you have a priority that is higher than your loyalty to Jesus, a. I would question whether you're really a Christian or whether you're a person who has absorbed all the sort of cultural markers of being a Christian. But when it comes right down to your decision making, your decision making really is godless and secular. You can praise the Lord. Hallelujah. I go to church. That's all well and good, but I mean, the real question is where the rubber meets the road, isn't it? The real question is how do you make your decisions? What drives you? And here's the second thing I'd say. You know, I think the church has done a terrible job in general, not every church, but the church at large, of making disciples. Jesus said, if you abide in my word, if you live in it, if you are immersed in it, if it Governs your thinking then are you my disciples? Indeed. I think we got a lot of church going, pew sitting, so called Christians who are not at all disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. Let's go to David in Mississippi. David, welcome.
Caroline Hey, Bishop Jackson, thank you, for all that you do. I really enjoy when you host Abraham show. And I just wanted to make a comment about, some of the things that I, don't think that President Trump or the Republicans articulated very well. One part of our energy costs or fuel costs going up was all tied to the new green deal that was, you know, the green new deal that was out there and shutting down drilling for all
Bishop EW Jackson and refineries
Caroline articulated what we were doing, with regard to increasing refining capacity and things like that so that we can have more fuel. That would have been great. Also, our healthcare costs have gone up because of Democratic, the Affordable Care Net act has not been affordable. Everything's been cost shifted over to other people. And lastly.
Bishop EW Jackson Okay, quickly David, because I'm running out of time.
Caroline Okay, all right, well you just go, you, you, you understand what I'm
Bishop EW Jackson saying? I got you.
The Message of Christ and the Importance of Supporting Israel Biblically
I thank you for the call, David. Yeah, and look, you're absolutely right. We ought to call it the Unaffordable Care Net Act. Let's try to get these other calls in. Let's go to Earnest in Florida. Florida held the line. Welcome. How
Caroline you doing, sir? I want to say very quickly when you mentioned $100 million to get something done, I disagree. Because when Peter said silver and gold, I have none. But what I do have, I give you in the name of Jesus Christ. We've fallen short in the message of Christ, number one. Number two, we need to bring the Jews to heal. Not just H e e l, but H e a l. Because what aggravates me is 57 to 60% of Jews voted for El Saeed in Michigan. This lost Jewish mindset has to be addressed. And we can't just keep blindly supporting Israel. We gotta stop. We gotta.
Bishop EW Jackson Well, okay, I appreciate the call, but we don't blindly support Israel. We biblically support Israel. And therein lies the difference, my friend. Okay, Micah, you get to say the final word here other than me. And you are in Ohio. Welcome.
Convoluted Republican Strategies and the Essential Role of Christians in Saving America
Caroline Thank you very much, Bishop. I called and take umbrage about how the Republican, party, fuels, the liberal, media, the anti Trump media,
Christopher Woodward antichrist media. I mean we've given them millions and millions of dollars. Doesn't that seem convoluted to you?
Bishop EW Jackson Yeah, well, there are a lot of things about what the Republican Party does that seem convoluted to me. and I think that's in part, we are where we are, and I really think that, therefore, it's going to fall to Christians to really save this country. I'm a Republican, but I'll tell you what, I don't have any confidence that the Republican establishment is going to do it. it's going to take Christians believing God and getting fully involved in the process. Thank you so much for the call, Micah.
A Call to Action: Standing Up and Speaking Out for God's Side
Well, folks, that's going to do it for today. Always great to sit in for Abraham Hamilton iii. God bless each and every one of you. And you know what to do. I don't care what. What any election may produce. Stand up. step up, speak up. Refuse to back up because we cannot be defeated if we will not quit because we are on God's side.

Abraham Hamilton III And now the, Hamilton Corner.

Abraham Hamilton III The Hamilton quarter podcast and one minute commentaries are [email protected]. back to the Hamilton corner on American Family Radio.
Just get in touch with us at truthtourtandinc.net that's truthtourtandinc.net or you can call us at 757-375-6444. That's 7573-7564-4888-8898-8840 is the number. That's 888-589-8840.
Abraham Hamilton III The views and opinions expressed in this broadcast may not necessarily reflect those of the American Family association or American Family Radio.
Following a difficult election, Bishop E.. W. Jackson urges Christians not to retreat into discouragement but to “toughen up” and stay engaged. Drawing on the story of Israel’s costly battles in Judge 20, he argues that setbacks do not mean the fight is over—and that perseverance, faith, and a commitment to justice matter even when progress is slow.
