Bishop EW Jackson And folks, welcome to another edition of the Hamilton Corner. I guess you can tell by my voice that I am not Abraham Hamilton iii, but it is my honor to sit in the chair for him once again today. God bless each and every one of you and thank you so much for your prayers, for your support, for your contributions just at Shareathon, last week and, so very grateful for your generosity. We're going to continue to hold up the blood stained banner. We're going to continue to, proclaim the name of Jesus Christ without apology and the righteousness of God and his word without any equivocation. And we're going to win.
The Battle is the Lord's: Trusting in God's Victory Amidst Chaos and Uncertainty
No matter what the forces of evil say, no matter how much noise they make, no matter how much chaos they try to create, we're going to win. We're going to win because really the battle is already won. Because the battle is really ultimately not ours, but the Lord's. Our job is to take to the battlefield. You all have heard me say this about Jehoshaphat, One of my favorite stories in the Bible, which sees the people of Mount Seir, of the Ammonites, the Moabites, three armies all coming at the little old children of Israel. And he sees them coming. He knows they're marching on the way. I mean, it is D day. And he looks toward heaven and says, lord, we don't know what to do, but our eyes are on you. And we can say the same thing. there are times we really do not know what to do, but we just have to keep our eyes on God. And of course, God put in the heart of the prophet to prophesy to the people and to tell them that God was on their side and God was going to stand up for them. But God gave them a specific instruction. He said, set yourselves remember that. You know what that means? That means take to the battlefield and be prepared to fight. He said, but then stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. he didn't tell them, hey, you all can go home and go to sleep. I've got this. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, doesn't work that way. He said, set yourselves, stand still. In other words, you take the step of faith by getting on the battlefield. You get into the fray. I'll take care of the rest. And I believe that folks with all my heart that when we add our natural by faith in God, he adds his super to our natural and gives us a supernatural result.
Reflecting on 50 Years of Faithfulness: A Personal Testimony of God Never Failing
I have seen it all, all too many times in my life. God is faithful, you know, in fact, I think this is the first time I've mentioned this, but my, my church and my, my ministry are ah, hosting a, m m. My ministry and stand are hosting a jubilee for me with 50 years of walking with God in December. those of you who might hear this and you're living nearby, you're certainly welcome to come. we're going to have my, my first son in the ministry. The person I, the first person I licensed, into the ministry after I became myself a senior pastor. Pastor Cecil Bly is going to be speaking, at our banquet on Saturday. Andrew Wommack's going to be speaking at two Sunday services. We're going to have services at nine and at 11. Our sanctuary does not hold that many people and so we want to make sure we can accommodate as many as possible. So, but you, you are all invited. First come, first serve, of course, but you're all invited, we're going to have a wonderful time in the Lord. I said all that not to not to, to, to pat myself on the back, but to simply say 50 years of walking with God and I have never ever, ever seen God fail. Never. You know, I used to say if I were writing that song, we've come this far by faith. Leaning on the Lord, trusting in his holy word, he's never failed me yet. I would leave the yet out because yet implies. Well, he might at some point. And that's not what the songwriter meant, I'm sure. Just, just probably a little lax with the language. But I, think it's fair to say he never failed me and he never will.
Navigating Life's Challenges with Confidence in God's Unwavering Love and Plan
And that's the truth of the matter. I have never seen God fail. I've said to people, sometimes somewhat jokingly, but with some truth to it, of course. You know, I've had no complaints about God. Not a, single one. Not one. Now there have been times when I didn't quite understand exactly how God was moving or when God was going to move or how things exactly were going to work out, but always maintained the confidence that he loved me and he Would work it all out. Wasn't clear how. And at times I went early in my ministry, particularly early in my walk with the Lord. I wasn't always mature about it. I did some whining and complaining. Oh, God. Oh, God, when are you going to help me? When are you. You know, I mean, I went through some of that. Don't do that anymore, thank God. But I did plenty of it earlier on. But I never doubted that God loved me and that God was looking out for me and that he was going to work it out. In fact, I say, I can remember at one point saying to the Lord, when I was really in a very tough situation, saying, lord, I just can't take it anymore. I just can't take it anymore. And the crisis I was in went on for some weeks after that. But when it was finally over, the Lord said to me, I thought you couldn't take anymore. Well, I did take some more. And, and. But God brought me through on the other side in victory. In fact, you know, I've never shared this with you all, and I just feel led today to do that. So let me. Let me just tell you. When my wife and I, we were living in Boston and in 1991, I will never forget it, God spoke to me and said, I am moving you from Boston. Now, we had lived in Boston at that point for nearly 20 years.
Divine Guidance and Unexpected Opportunities: A Journey to a New Ministry
And God said, I am moving you. And, you know, when God speaks to you, of course, again, he didn't speak to me in an audible voice. He didn't come sit in my living room, you know, but. But I knew in my heart that God has spoken to me. I knew it. There's just no question about was. With a profound conviction. I knew it. Only one little thing. He didn't tell me where he was moving me to. And I just said, okay, Lord. And of course, once God says something like that to you, you start to think about it, well, now, where. Where's God going to send me where God want me to go? Where am I? I got no answer, you know, but I just thought about it and wondered and got no answer. That went on, folks, for seven years. Seven years. And finally God spoke to me. Because what happened was I went to a meeting in Dallas, Texas. I'm pretty sure it was Dallas. Might have been Houston, but I'm pretty sure it was Dallas. well, actually, you know what? I think it might have been Houston. and this was a meeting, I think, sponsored by the Christian Coalition, but they were calling Christians together. And I Think it might have even been a special call out to black Christian, black conservative leaders. And I was called to it, asked to invite us to come at least. So I went down and, and I spoke at the meeting, but I wasn't a speaker. But you know, they gave an opportunity for people to be heard and I, and I spoke up. Well, afterwards I got a call from the leaders of the Christian Coalition, Ralph Reed, Pat Robertson wanted to talk to me. And so I flew down, talked to them, flew down from Massachusetts to Virginia, talked to them and they said, hey, you know, we, we love what you had to say. We'd like to know whether you'd consider, you know, being a spokesperson for the Christian Coalition. I said well, yeah, what, what would that entail? And you know, they said, and you know, talked about moving to Virginia, but I didn't have any unction to do that. And I said, well, you know, I don't know that I'm ready to make a commitment like that, you know, and well, you know, that's fine. It's not a full time job. What we want you to do is preach. We want you to be a spokesperson, we want you to speak to our various, organizations around the country. Once you go around the country and speak. So I basically was a preach in residence and that's what I started doing. That was the first time I began to have a national platform. That was the first time I started to be known by other people outside of my area. And I did that for a couple of years. But, but here's the thing. So in the course of doing that, I was asked to do that in 97, and in the course of doing this seven years later, I was going to Virginia for a meeting. I'd already been asked to do it. I was already under contract with them to do it. I wasn't employ, didn't live there, but, but I would fly down to meet with Pat and meet with Ralph Reed and talk about strategy and talk about problems that they thoughts. Because now when I went to these various places and I was going all over the country, when I went to these various places, they wanted me to understand what I was walking into because there was sometimes there would be problems that had to be addressed and so forth. But as I was down there one time walking through the concourse and the Lord spoke to me, said, I want you to come here. And I stopped right in the middle of the airport. I can feel it today. I stopped and I knew that was God was moving us to Virginia. That's how I Ended up in Virginia. I didn't leave Massachusetts because I had problems. I didn't leave Massachusetts because I was afraid of anything or running from any. I left Massachusetts because the Lord called me. And the way God moved me was literally miraculous.
Miraculous Provision and a Calling to Virginia: Trusting God's Plan for Ministry Expansion
Literally miraculous. Because what happened was once the Lord spoke to me and my wife and I started to think about this, and we had a daughter who was just finishing up high school. She was going to finish up the following year, and we didn't want to pull her out of high school and have her go to a new high school for the last year of her life. And she was going to Christian school, had made friends there and so forth. So I said, well, let's plan to do it at the end of next year. And I said, well, Lord, you're calling us to Virginia. God called me specifically to plan a church in Chesapeake, Virginia. And I said, we will, we will do it, Lord. And, now only one thing, we need resources to do this. Because I wasn't working for a full time job and the job for the Christian Coalition had dried up. And I had a man call me as we were thinking and praying about how we were going to make this move. I had a man call me who had given me, folks, I am not exaggerating, he had given $100 to the church. $100. And he called me, said, hey, I want to, I want to meet with you. I mean, I knew him, but we weren't close friends or anything, so I want to meet with you. I said, okay. So my wife and I arranged to meet, have dinner with him and his wife, and, sat down. He said, listen, I've been watching you for a long time and I really appreciate, you know, what you do and the stand that you take. And I, I want to help you. I want to, I want to be a financial blessing to you. And I said, okay. Well, I said, well, I sure do appreciate that. And I said, what did you had, you know, what did you have in mind? He said, well, I want, I just want to support you and continuing to do what you're doing, but maybe expand it, maybe create your own 501C3, which I already had. and, he said, so would $100,000 get you started? yeah, sure. This was, this was back in 1997. So, I mean, my goodness, folks, that's, that's 30 years ago. so it was worth a whole lot more then than it is now. And I said, well, look, and then I thought, you know what? I said, I really do appreciate that. I said, but I have to be honest with you. I said, I am not planning to stay in Massachuset. I said, we are planning to move to Virginia. And I think at that point it was already 1998. And I said, this summer it is our plan to move to Virginia. And I have a clue how we're going to get that done. But I just knew this is what God had called us to do. We were going to get it done somehow. And he said to me, he said, oh, that doesn't matter. He said, with computers and whatnot today. He said, you doesn't matter where you live. He said, your ministry is national. Anyway. He said, in fact, I'll pay the cost of your move.
God's Provision and the Real Enemy: Understanding the Spiritual Battle in America
Now, folks, let me tell you something. When God says, set yourself, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, you know what he means. He said, you just position yourself to be obedient to me and I'll take care of the rest. And he did. I mean, that was it. We just, miraculously moved us and did with us what we couldn't do for ourselves. This is Bishop E.W. jackson in for Abraham Hamilton III. Standby. We'll be back in just a moment.

Abraham Hamilton III Shining light into the dark this is the Hamilton Corner on American Family Radio.
Bishop EW Jackson This is Bishop E.W. jackson in for Abraham Hamilton III. Now folks, I didn't say any of that, of course, to brag on myself because I couldn't have engineered that if I tried. I'm just not that smart. But God knew exactly what he was doing. And if I'd been looking for somebody to ask for that kind of money, I wouldn't have started with this guy because he had never shown that level of interest in anything I was doing. 100 bucks was all I could ever remember him giving. That he gave to the church. That was it. But it's simply to say, when you are seeking to be obedient to God, God is going to work it out. Ah, this stuff we're going through in our country right now, sharing with you yesterday, there, these, these folks, these socialists, these atheists, these secularists. Don't kid yourselves, folks. They don't just hate President Trump. They do hate him, but they don't just hate him. They don't just hate these ICE agents that they're attacking every time, every chance they get. They. They do hate them. But I'm telling you, folks, the people they hate the most are you and me, because they hate the people who are responsible for upholding, voting in, for example, people like President Trump supporting ICE officers. We are the deplorables. We are the garbage. We're the flyover people. We're the stupid people, you see? And we're in the way because we keep voting for people like Donald Trump. We keep supporting institutions like ICE and. And like our police officers. We keep demanding fairness and no censorship in our media. We keep demanding balance in our universities. We keep bringing up God and the Bible and our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, folks. They don't.
The Media's Hostility and the True Nature of Political Opposition: A Deeper Understanding
I mean, I don't know how much more strongly I am able to state it. I guess I'm taking a little walk down memory lane these days. I mentioned 50 years of walking with the Lord, and I think the Holy Spirit has led me to share, these stories, and I hope they are an encouragement to you. But I remember when I ran for Lieutenant governor, and I had never experienced anything like that before, because when I won the nomination, the media just descended on me. I mean, they descended on me, and I'd never experienced anything like that before. And, you know, the things that President Trump deals with every single day with the media, just question after question after question after question. And, of course, none of them are asked to elicit information. They are all, for the most part, most of them are being asked because they want to somehow hurt President Trump, hoping that he'll say something that they can find something that they can use to hurt him. You know, they really are attack dogs. They really are vultures. but I didn't understand that then, believe it or not. I mean, in 2012, when I first ran, and in 2013, when I won the nomination, I didn't understand any of that. and I had an aide pull me aside, and I will never forget him. He did many things for me. Great, great young man who. Very, very faithful and very competent. But he pulled me aside one time because he could see that I didn't quite get what was going on. I was a little puzzled by it. And he said to me, I think there's something that you don't understand. And I said, what's that? He said, you don't understand. These media people hate you. They don't just disagree with you. They're not just trying to elicit information. They hate you because you represent an existential threat to everything they want. And it kind of stunned me, it really did, because I just never thought of it in those terms. But then after he said that, I started to think back on what minor interactions I'd had with the media before. And I remembered, back in Boston when I took a stand against busing, for example. And, there was two anchors, a man and a woman who were married. Ah, Chet and Natalie Jacobson. That was their names. Chet and Natalie Jacobson. And I ended up interviewing with them because I was the only prominent, minister at least, and certainly the only black minister who actually took a stand against busing. Because I thought, how in the world can it possibly help black children to be bused into a poor white neighborhood, which was what South Boston pretty much was, with people who are hostile to their being there in the first place. How in the world is that going to improve their educational quality? It didn't make any sense to me then. It doesn't make any sense to me now. And by the way, it was an abject failure. But of course, I stood out because I was the only voice saying, this doesn't make sense, and we shouldn't be doing it to these children, and it's not going to improve their education. And all it does is set people up and put people at odds and against each other. And I, just. I just denounced it. Well, they wanted to interview me because who's this crazy black man who's got the nerve to be against forced busing? And it was forced because even the black parents didn't want their children being bused into that. But that was the order of the court. and I remember thinking, why are they so hostile to me? Why are they. You know, because really, I thought, you know, reporters, they're just neutral people. They're trying to get information. Yeah, I know you. I know what you're thinking. Well, you really were naive, weren't you? I was. I really was. And I did not understand their hostility. I mean, you know, I'm a young guy. I'm pastoring. I love everybody, and I figure everybody loves me, right? You know, I mean, what's right? I mean, what's not to love, right? But they were vicious with me, and I just thought, what? Wait a minute, what am I missing? And when he said that, it hit me that these people hate these leftists, hate anybody who does not subscribe to their agenda. They Hate them. Now, I know I hear people say, well, you know, I'm friends with this liberal. I'm, friends with that liberal. Well, you know, look, there are exceptions to every rule, right? And, you know, there may be cases in which people get to know somebody personally, and then that sort of transcends the hatred that they have with their ideology. But just think about some of the advice that we've been hearing coming from the left, which is, you know, therapists telling people, you may have to cut your parents off, you may have to cut your family off. Don't go to that Thanksgiving dinner if, you know, there are people there who voted for Trump. I mean, which just goes to show they're going to even cut off your own family because they don't subscribe to your worldview.
Recognizing Demonic Infiltration and the Left's Agenda: A Call to Uphold Godly Values
Now, that's what we're dealing with, folks. This is not. Again, this is not just politics. This is a spirit. This is a demonic infiltration. Because that's Satan's res. Raison d'. Etre. Hatred, lies, hatred, division. That's what he does. That's what he knows. Ilhan Omar, for example, I'm sure you all heard that she had, her home raided by the Department of Homeland Security. She's being investigated by the FBI potentially for naturalization fraud, which is very, very serious, meaning that she may have lied in order to obtain citizenship. And apparently one of the allegations is now she's innocent until proven guilty. I'm not saying she did these things. I'm just saying that these are allegations against her right now, that she may have lied about her age in order to obtain virtually automatic citizenship when her father obtained his citizenship. Because as a minor child of his, she would have been entitled to basically piggyback on his citizenship. If she were actually 17 and not 18 when he got his citizenship and she got hers, she would have. If she were 18 and not 17, she would have lied and she would have basically circumvented, that the naturalization process that she as an adult would have had to go through. So she cheated. If the allegation is true. If the allegation is true. So that's the allegation against her. And of course, they're also investigating the strange appearance and disappearance of about $30 million in her assets. I mean, how do you make a mistake that one moment you're worth 30 million, and then suddenly, you know, you're worth, I don't know what it is, but, a, very, very, very small fraction of that. So there are a lot of unanswered questions here. But here, here's the thing that I want to point out about her. She is part of the problem. And she is one of the reasons why we've got so many people hating this country, because people like her, people have influence. She hates America. I mean, she said so. She said she's here to pursue the interests of Somalia. She said America is one of the worst countries on earth. In fact, I think she actually said America should be one of the best, and it's the worst country on earth. I mean, for somebody coming from Somalia, that really takes some chutzpah. That takes a lot of gall to make a statement like that. But yet that's what she said. Because again, you see, she hates what our country represents. You know, why people like this want to be citizens here, of course, defies rational thought. But, but here's what we know. They're certainly not here to build on the constitutional republic that our, founders have given us through God. They're here to destroy it. I mean, they'll take whatever they get from that, from the ashes that they leave. But, but their job is not to strengthen our constitutional republic. Their job is to destroy it. Their mission, their, their. Their reason for being is to destroy what we've got, to turn it into a socialist dystopia. You know, they would call it, of course, a paradise because they'll be in charge. As you may have heard me say, Satan was living, and then Lucifer living in the perfect environment. Heaven perfect, absolutely perfect, unstained in any way. What in the world was his problem? I'll tell you what it was. That he didn't run it, that he wasn't in charge, that he had to bow to God, and he wanted to bow to no one. I said Jon Milton put in his lips the, words he's not found in the Bible. But, But I think they capture the attitude of Satan in Paradise Lost, which is, where he says, satan says, better I'd rather, I'd rather reign in hell than serve in heaven. That's his attitude. and that's the attitude of the left. They'd rather turn America into a hellacious nation than to serve live as servants, not rulers, but servants in our constitutional republic. Psalm, 9, 17 says, the wicked shall be turned into hell. And all the nations that forget God. And that's what they want. They want us to forget. Get God, get him out of the picture.
The Consequences of Forgetting God: Citizenship, Illegality, and the Attacks on Law Enforcement
Get those ten commandments down. Stop that Bible reading. Stop that prayer. Don't mention the name of Jesus, we don't need that. Yeah, that's what they want. And they hate us because we're in the way, because we're singing praises to his name and we're lifting up the name of Jesus. And and we're, we're claiming our country as a Christian country. I mean, to say that is to, is to really scrape your fingernails across glass in their hearing, but it's still the truth. And Jesus said, you should know the truth. The truth shall make you free. So Ilhan Omar is in trouble right now. If these allegations prove to be true, not only could she lose her freedom, lose her office, but she could lose her citizenship. And I'm sure you all have heard me say, but if you haven't, let me say it now for the record. See, I believe that every naturalized citizen should be on probation. And I think the period of probation ought to be for the rest of your natural life. That in other words, your citizenship is not secure here until you prove for a lifetime that you really are here to be a faithful, loyal citizens, citizen of the United States of America, this constitutional republic. And when you get here and you've been, you've been naturalized and you start saying you hate America and America is the worst country in the world and America's a racist country and America's a white supremacist country and all of that, now you've got, you've certainly got a God given right to say that. But I tell you what you don't have. You have a God given right to bring that from somewhere else and come here and do it. You don't have the right to do that. That's a privilege that we give you. You can go back to where you came from and say that, keep saying it, but you don't necessarily have the right to say it here. I know once you become an American citizen, you do. But if you're an American citizen illegitimately, then as far as I'm concerned, everything else is illegitimate as well. You are appropriating things that don't really belong to you. So we will see how all of that goes. But likewise the attacks on ice. I mean, Zoran Mamdani defending this thug, who was arrested by ICE. The man has a long rap sheet. Oscar Belgal, 28 years old, Dominican Republic, long rap sheet, guilty of grand larceny, and a number of other crimes of various kinds, including the sale of controlled substances. So he's a drug dealer to boot. A member of, this gang, I think they're called the, Totalitarios. And this guy's walking as free as a bird. They finally catch up with him and detain him and Mayor Mom Donnie has a conniption. You know why? Because they really hate the safety and security of the American people. They want to do everything they can to undermine it. This is Bishop E.W. jackson here on the Hamilton corner. Back in just a moment, Sam.

Bishop EW Jackson So, Oscar Belgal, this 28 year old with a long rap sheet who has finally been detained by ice, for whom his freedom was pleaded by none other than the m. Mayor of NewSong York, Mayor Zoran Mamdani. this man is now where he should be, behind bars and is about to be deported. But believe it or not, they're having protests. Protests for this guy. I mean, again, it's the George Floyd phenomenon. If you are somehow a victim of law enforcement, even though you may have yourself taken action and engaged in behavior that brought you into confrontation with law enforcement, you are nevertheless declared a saint in the minds of these leftists. And we ought to, you know, we ought to be lionizing you and praising you and supporting you. And I mean, this, this, this gang that this guy belongs to, they are known for attacking people with machetes. And yet he's got people protesting for his, his liberty.
Protecting American Citizens: The Urgent Need to Address Illegal Immigration and Crime
Well, I'm sure you saw, this police officer, NewSong York City police officer, off duty, attacked by two illegal aliens. Stabbed the young man. And he's a young man. Looked to me like he might be in his late 20s, early 30s, maybe. It's only been within, maybe early 30s, had been with NYPD, I think for 10 years. Stabbed him 10 times. Almost killed him. Almost killed him. And he said, basically the running reporter asked him what was he thinking, you know, after being stabbed that way. He said, I was thinking and based upon my experience, anybody who loses as much blood as I'm losing now doesn't live. He said. So my, my thought was, I've got to slow myself down. I've got to be still. I've got to do is do everything in my power to slow the loss of blood, because if I don't, I'm not going to make it. And the guy who. The guys who attacked him, once again, they're, They're. They're now victims. You know, we. We've got it. We got to defend them. And both of them, by the way, rap sheets. These guys look like they might be in their early 20s, maybe late teens, but probably early 20s, and already long rap sheets for a variety of different crimes, and they don't belong here in the first place. And yet their release is being demanded. Oscar Belgal, as you, all know, ran into some ICE officers vehicles with his own son in the back car. He intentionally rammed their vehicles. Didn't give a care about what might happen to this young child in the car, but he needs to be released. No less than the mayor of NewSong York pleaded with it for his release, apparently, took it straight to the President, United States, and pleaded with the young man for the young man for two hours. President Trump was very gracious about it. More gracious, frankly, than I would have been. He said, yeah, well, he's just a bad. He's a bad guy. And we just didn't. We didn't agree. what is there to disagree about? That this dangerous thug should be walking the streets of NewSong York?
The Election's True Meaning: Good Versus Evil and Gratitude for American Blessings
You know, folks, once again, what all of this says to me is this election that's going to be, held on the first Tuesday in November is not about Democrat versus Republican. This is about good versus evil. This is about right versus wrong. This is about sanity versus insanity. Because wanting to release these people into the streets, knowing that they have hurt people, will hurt more people. And the people they likely hurt will be American citizens. And to want them sent back into the streets so that they can do more harm, you can't define that as anything but insane. And I don't mean, again, not mentally insane, like they've lost touch with reality, but morally insane because they completely lost touch with right and wrong. They are so filled with hatred for our country, hatred for you and me as the Americans who uphold this country. Remember, the Constitution doesn't begin I Donald Trump. It begins. We the people. See, remember, Donald Trump is going to pass from the scene, but the American people are still going to be here. And it is ultimately going to be up to us to uphold the principles and the ideals, the foundations upon which the greatest nation on earth was built. I may have shared this with you all before, but. But it's worth sharing again. I was, Going to visit a friend outside of D.C. it was about an hour and a half ride to get there. And the young man driving me was from Uganda. Yeah. Having that backseat that I knew he wasn't, born in this country. And I asked him where he was from. He told me Uganda. And I said, well, how are things in Uganda? He just kind of shook his head and he said, bad, bad. I said, well, what's going on? He said, we have a president who has been in office 40 years, and the only people benefiting, are him and his children. The country is poor, but of course, he is very rich, and you dare not challenge him. Elections are completely rigged. He controls the outcome. And I thought to myself, as so many people like to describe themselves as African Americans, I thought to myself, I am an American, and I wouldn't want to trade places with anybody having to deal with all that stuff that's going on in Africa right now. And by the way, folks, you all know that's not the exception. That's the rule. Most African countries are basket cases. You know, I don't know whether I've shared this with you or not, but, if I have, it is worth repeating. I remember some politician, I don't know his name, member of the Congressional Black Caucus, but one of these days I'm going to look up and refresh myself as to exactly who it was. But he said, I get up every morning in America, wonder if I'm going to be stopped, wondering if I'm going to be stopped. While driving black, I thought to myself, you don't need social justice. You need psychological therapy.
Stewards of Blessing: Engaging in Civic Duty and Making America a Heavenly Nation
Because I get up every morning grateful to God that I am born in the greatest nation on earth, that I get to freely choose what I want to do with my life, that I get to explore and to make progress and to work and to enjoy the benefits of my labor and to do things that are meaningful and purposeful and helpful. and I don't have the government breathing down my back, telling me, you can't say this. You can't think this. You can't. You can't go here. You can't go there. I remember a friend of mine told me that he went to Russia, when it was the Soviet Union. He said when he arrived there expecting to do what people normally do, which is go find a hotel, because they weren't able to do that in advance, but they were going to find a hotel. No, no, no, you don't find a hotel. You get assigned a hotel as indicative of the Way the society is controlled, everything and everybody is controlled by the state. I thank God that I don't live in a country like that, like what this Ugandan described, of his country and every single one of us. We ought to have attitudes of gratitude, not grievance. And the grievance industry is constantly trying to convince us that we have everything to be unhappy about, we have everything to be angry about, we have everything to be bitter about, when the fact of the matter is we have a whole lot of blessings to be grateful about. And that's the way we ought to live our lives. In fact, that ought to be, a primary motivation, because I really believe that when God blesses you, he expects you to be a steward of that blessing. And God has blessed us with this great country. And I really believe that God's expectation for us is that we be stewards. I was talking to Rick Greene, founder of Patriot Academy, talking to him on a program earlier, and he said something that I heard not too long ago. In fact, I might have heard it first from him. He might have been the first person to apply this analogy. He said, but not voting, not engaging, not caring about what happens to the moral and cultural atmosphere of your country is like taking your talent and burying it in the ground. And I thought that is the perfect analogy. And you know what the Lord said to the servant who buried the one talent that he got? Buried it in the ground. Of course, I believe our country represents far more. It's the equivalent of burying the five talents in the ground. But he said to him, you wicked and slothful servant, you should have at least put my money to usury. You should have at least had some, something to show for it when I came back. And I really believe that God expects us to make this country better, not allow it to go to hell. And again, I don't mean that profanely. I mean that spiritually not allow it as it was. As, Psalm 9:17 says, As I quoted, the wicked shall be turned into hell. And all the nations that forget God, that God does not expect us to allow our country to turn into hell, expects us to make our country as heavenly as we can. Now, it'll never be heaven, but that's what awaits us. And in the meantime, we do what we can to make it as heaven, like, as possible.
Voting for Godly Values: Protecting Unborn Babies and Upholding the True Definition of Marriage
And that means voting for people who reflect those godly values and voting against those people who do not, voting for policies that reflect those values and voting against those policies that do not. For example, for those of you in Virginia, for those of you who are not, I hope you will understand the relevance because it's coming to you, believe me. But the demon crats here have put two referenda on the ballot. One, to basically create unrestricted, unfettered killing of unborn babies. And by the way, no restrictions on minors and no protections of parental rights with regard to a minor child that might be impregnated. And sometimes, of course, we know in many cases often impregnated by an older man or by an adult who then manipulates the child to get the abortion so that the adult will be protected from statutory rape. But this referendum doesn't acknowledge parental authority at all. We gotta vote against that. And another one that enshrines same sex so called marriage, I say so called because there's no such thing as the same sex marriage. Two men can't get married, two women can't get married. Now they can enter into some kind of contractual relationship, they can, I mean, you know, they, they can call it what they want, but it's not a marriage because a marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, period. That's it. That's all. It's not between one man and the transgender, it's not between two women, it's not between two men, it's not between one woman and a transgender. No, it's between one man and one woman, biologically and genetically two separate genders, male and female. That's all. But, oh no, they want to put in the Constitution the rights so called, and then want to equate it to interracial marriage. The lies, they just keep on coming. And we've got to stand up for truth and we got to do it in every avenue and in every circumstance. But we've got especially have to do it at the ballot box because if we don't, just this truth sets us free lies put us and everybody captured by them in bondage.
Living in Truth and Standing Firm: A Call to Faithfulness and Action
And Jesus said he came to set the captives free, not put the free into bondage. So we've got a responsibility. I know we're going to live up to it. And I believe that God is going to do his part because he always does. I said he is. We might, we, we might consider ourselves faithful, but he is ever faithful. Well, listen, this is Bishop E.W. jackson in for Abraham Hamilton III here on the Hamilton Corner. Great talking with you again today. In the meantime, until we talk again, you know what to do.

Stand up, step up, speak up, refuse to back up because we cannot be defeated if we will not quit because we are on God's side.
