Being aware of what’s happening around you is paramount for being prepared when you are a caregiver, and Peter offers some insight into how he does it with Gracie. We hear a quick update on Gracie’s journey and Peter helps us consider, “Are we a visible testament for others in our own demise?”
Revisiting the program with Robert J. Morgan; long-time caregiver, pastor, and author of, Then Sings My Soul, insightful books about the importance of hymns to a believer.
Peter offers caregivers a welfare check. Speaking to our Isolation, Doctor Visit, Dental Health, Diet, the 3 D’s if you will, Finances and our Spiritual Life.

Financial Counselor/Advisor, Emily Boothroyd of Merit Financial Advisors, joins Peter to talk about some rules of thumb in finances for family caregivers who may be struggling or know someone who is facing decisions that may be difficult.

“Should” & “Need”: get rid of those thoughts and words. They will take you into a place of lies from the enemy. Christ is our safe place, our shelter. Lean into Him in times of difficulty.
Also, for those who think they have something to add to the conversation, Peter offers two thoughts:
1. Know your audience. 2. Know your message.
Peter talks to us about how small efforts in the right direction can pay off in big ways. Zechariah 4:10 warn, “Do not despise small beginnings.” It’s in you; let it out!
Live life IN your circumstances, don’t wait until the circumstances change.
Peter encourages us this week with Safety First.
Pursue “healthy” and “happy” will find you! The path to safety will always be found in the person of Christ, so when panic begins to set-in, RUN to Christ.
